Seriously, mature advice only. My wife and I separated some time ago and things are just not working out. I live in Cali and she lives in North Carolina. We both have legal residency in North Carolina. Would me getting an attorney be worth anything? Or would it not matter since I m a resident of North Carolina? Where do I start? I feel like modern day society is littered with distrust and that most people don't believe it when they encounter someone good. Case in point: most people expect that their potential partner has slept around ir had previous partners. Even in relationships, they have this idea that their partner won't be faithful. I'm sick and tired of it! Always inviting her to events, treat her better then they do me. Every year my family goes on a Labor day weekend getaway. This year was no different. We rent a large house either in the mountains or the beach and go chill for a few days.
