Question: How can I be sure people won't block me on Facebook when sending friend request? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 04:23 PM PDT Sometime I check my old school yearbook, also old summer softball team with list of names. When I saw their name next I searched for this person on Facebook. After found them, I send messenger say hey remembered me, how you been? Haven't met for you for long time. Along with friend request. They blocked me so I can't continue to talk with some of old face. They won't explain their reasons. I mean I can try find out where this person live so I can meet them face to face however most of them live several states away which not worth traveling when you can't be sure this person is at home or away on vacation. I mean they blocked me when I want to talk with them even last time we talked was like 30 years ago. |
Question: What does it mean when a guy says he likes your mom? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 03:23 PM PDT I'm friends with this guy and sometimes my mom talks to him when she goes shopping. He works at this around the corner. He makes music and she likes the kind of music he makes. I told him that I thought she likes him and he said he likes her too. *I do not mean like as in a romantic way* |
Posted: 01 Apr 2019 03:21 PM PDT My "best friends" have been straying away from me, and they tell eachother my secrets I want one person to keep. I dont know if I can exactly trust them. The thing is, there are still my best friends, and I dont know if I should stay friends with them. I think I have overestimated how strong our friendship was... |
Question: Am I a bad friend for not caring about my friend and her relationship problems? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 03:02 PM PDT I mean I love her, and will always support her no matter what, but she always has some type of problem with her relationships. I'm not in the best mental state atm and it's kind of annoying to always be the one to play therapist. I don't know anymore. |
Question: I have no friends. It's making me depressed? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 02:11 PM PDT I'm on my 4th year of college and I have a couple of friends that we only seem to hangout during our break time. They all seem to have their group of friends, so on the weekends I feel lonely since I have no one to hangout with. During my time at college i tried joining clubs and all that but I had no luck meeting new people since it's a community college and they rarely hold up activities. After finishing my classes and when I don't feel like going home i just go for a walk around campus and think how empty my life is and how I wasted my time in college doing nothing worthy. I just hate being lonely. |
Question: How can I be a master at being social and making friends? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 11:45 AM PDT Have no friends in HS, 17. About to graduate. Want friends. Want a gf. Want to have some fun, want my life to change. How can I do it? |

Posted: 01 Apr 2019 11:26 AM PDT ella lo hace siempre que me despido o la saludo pero solo a mi y me atrae cerca cuando lo hace y pienso en ella todo el tiempo |
Question: How do I stop my friends from making fun of me? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 11:24 AM PDT I have 2 "friends" that I hang around with in school, but they keep mocking me! It's not healthy for my brain because I already have suicidal thoughts and it makes it worse. I lost all of my self confidence because of them. Should I just leave my friends and be alone? But wouldn't that make my suicidal thoughts worse because of the loneliness? |

Question: What should I do in this situation? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 10:29 AM PDT I m a college student and have to go home for the summer. However, I m from a super super small town, 500 residents, in the mountains, hours away from my current friends. Anyone else my age in the town, I m either not friends with or haven t seen since literally middle school. The only people I see over the summer are my mom and my coworkers. My siblings have moved away. I already struggle with depression and loneliness as I have a few friends at college and that s about it. I m worried being alone without friends for 2-3 MONTHS is going to drive me insane. I really don t do good without my friends around me, I end up feeling so alone and trapped in my little town that sometimes I get suicidal. There s really no other option, though. I have no where else to stay for the summer. This is the last summer I have to do this but I m still dreading it. Sorry for the rant. |
Question: What does it mean if a guy asks you if you do online dating? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 09:30 AM PDT I hung out with a guy and when we were at dinner he asked me if I do internet dating. Because I had mentioned that it's difficult for me to find someone who's into certain things I like. I'm just curious as to why he asked me if I do online dating. |
Question: Im trying to make friends but im not making any who take initiative to talk to me? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 09:17 AM PDT I also am trying to become friends with this one guy i work with but he doesn't say much at all and it feels like im dragging the words out of him but its just 2 people that work in the restaurant and its not busy at all so we just sit on our phones half the time but i really like to talk outloud to myself or have conversations with someone and i get bored on my phone i like talking with people face to face you know. Having conversations. It gets boring being on your phone for 6 hours without saying a word. I go crazy |
Question: Did my roommate damage my toilet in advance? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 06:41 AM PDT My roommate did not leave on good terms. He had his own bathroom and we always clashed on its cleanliness. After he left, there was no replacement roommate and the bathroom was used but hardly. 4 months later, that bathroom is flushing but is slowly backing up downstairs. No other bathroom in the house has this problem. I am told that he said to someone he could do something so the bathroom works for some time after he's gone then slowly blocks up so he could not be blamed. Is this possible that someone could do that sort of sabotage and the effects won't be observed for months? I don't want to hold this against him falsely, but I'd like to know what to look into repair-wise. Thanks for your suggestions. |
Question: Why doesn't this girl talk? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 04:47 AM PDT Like I get being shy, I'm pretty quiet too, but this girl will come and sit by me after school and not say a word. Our library is huge, she could sit by herself, yet she comes and sits by me. Like um okay. I'm not trying to sound rude. I'm not going to be like you can't sit by me if you don't talk. I'm just really confused as to why you would sit with someone when you're not going to say anything. You could just sit alone. I guess she has said hi to me once the first time she came and sat by me, but that's it. |
Question: How do you deal with people that sticks together and that would gang on somebody? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 03:57 AM PDT How do you handle people that are always in an entourage, you can never have anything to do with them without someone else 'overhearing' or looking at you from afar at you and that person talking. If you say something slightly out of the way or come back at them in defense, all of them starts giving you problems in favor of the person who you are defending yourself against. Any way to deal with these people? |
Question: How to break up a friendship? Posted: 01 Apr 2019 02:47 AM PDT OK so a few years ago I was dating this girl and our families were friends throughout the relationship. However, my ex broke up with me over an argument and we swore to never speak again and never have, unless meeting in person. Anyway, most of our relatives are no longer friends, which I'm happy about, as it means that I won't ever have to see my ex again. But my sister and my ex's sister still remain friends and that's the last link to the friendship. I don't want my sister to be friends with my ex's sister any longer and won't stop causing trouble until its over. How can I make my sister see sense and stop talking to her? |

Question: Advice on my relationship? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 10:03 PM PDT So I have this great guy friend who I used to be best friends with then we fought because I was too ignorant and naive and made too many jokes at serious times. We haven't talked in months and he suddenly friends me back and starts talking to me. I've been praying to become friends again because I hate holding grudges. A lot has happened, he has a girlfriend now and everything, etc. We used to talk all the time and it's been a little less since then but I expected that it won't go straight to being the same again. I wanted to discuss with him our current situation and how I'm feeling...I don't really feel like talking to him until he really apologizes because I apolgized for all these things and he blocked me so that was kind of sad for me. I also feel that I've changed over this few months and he's going through a hard time right now and all I want to do is help. He asked me to please not make any jokes I said " I won't. " he replies, " Thank you. " I said " Not a problem if you're comfortable with talking to me I'm here if not goodnight. " " goodnight. " I respect his decision I feel guys aren't as open or he just doesn't feel like sharing it with me but I know before he would've told me these things so it kind of hurt my feelings you know. |

Question: What kind of person does my former friend sound like? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 09:14 PM PDT There's this lady that I was friends with for three years. She ended her friendship with me yesterday. We work together and now it's going to be awkward seeing her everyday. I invited her to my college graduation right before Christmas last year. I also invited one of my teachers from grade school to the graduation. After my graduation party, she said bad things about my teacher. She said my teacher looks ten years older, has too much makeup on, and she saw with her "psychic abilities" that my teacher was going to have an affair with my dad. She would always beg me not to go see my teacher when I would go out of state to visit. She told me not to tell my parents, but I told them anyway. For months, she was exaggerating about my teacher. Then, when I told her that I told my parents, she threw a tantrum. She said, "Why did you tell them that? That was supposed to be confidential between us." She said she didn't know if we could remain friends. I asked her if she was jealous and her response was, "What?! I'm not jealous! She's just a skinny woman with a lot of makeup on!" After work last night, she said, "Let me get this straighten out! No more psychic advise...EVER! You should've not gossiped about that!" My teacher is prettier and more educated than her. What kind of person does she sound like and why would she start drama just for nothing? |
Question: Is it ok to lie to my friend that I don t like her? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 08:54 PM PDT My friend asked me if I liked her and I said no, because I don t want to put my friendship at risk, but I feel very guilty for lying to her : (. |
Question: Is it odd for my friend to be partying at 28? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:54 PM PDT My friend is from South America but recently moved here for Grad School and she is 28. Anyways I noticed she keeps going out going to house parties and seems to be having a party life on weekends when she isn't in school. She told me she never partied before coming to the states. |
Question: Do I need to bring a gift? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:29 PM PDT It's my friend's birthday this Saturday and she's hosting a birthday party at her apartment at night. 100 people are invited. Do I need to bring a gift? We're not super duper close but are friends. |
Question: Why are there anti bullying campaigns? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:23 PM PDT It may sound bad but bullying is an important part of childhood so that you can get harder |

Question: How did u make it through your teen years? Ugh? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 06:28 PM PDT What I mean by that is, I'm 17, a dude, and not to sound like your typical cliche misanthropic teenager but my life is fuxking boring man...I mean seriously, I have no friends, nobody really is too fond of me, they don't really wanna hang out with me, I'm at home all alone most times and it ******* ennervates me..I'm so bored I wish I had friends y'all..what do I do, how did u get through something like this in your teens? |
Question: Should I dump my friend? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 05:58 PM PDT I was in this toxic friend group. I did have an issue with them, i would insult them and yell at them and always tried to be dominant , and I feel like they all hated me. Except for one, she was my closest friend. I feel like she always felt annoyed with me. Now I know because I was so naive, I realized she used me. I was always there for her when she was upset, when she was crying. But she was never there for me. When I left the group, I was alone, crying. But the rest seemed to be having the time of their lives. I am no longer associating myself with her. As I confronted her about this earlier this year, she told me she was afraid to comfort me because everytime she would, I'd yell at her, and insult her for attempting to. I feel as if there was/ still is a mutual hatred for each other. I've accepted the fact that she used me. Over the past few weeks, I've been thinking about this. Was she using me, and should I sever the friendship completely? |

Question: Why do i think like this sometimes?? Is it bad? Posted: 31 Mar 2019 09:37 AM PDT My best friend of 7 years holds a strong place in my heart, we have a special bond. She is my dearest friend. We live states away although we talk multiple times every day. We meet up atleast 3 times a year. I loev our conversation, our talks, just her spirit and soul along with her personality attracts my heart. I love her, she is my family. Although sometimes when i meet up with her on my vacations I wuestion, judging on looks i guess, how I get a long witth this person? How do i feel such a strong attachment to her and how can i love this person?.... I never judge on looks or anything, although, I have those moments sometimes.
