This has been a constant reason for argument in our relationship. He is very involved in my family and I tell him all the time that I want to be involved in his, but nothing ever changes. I always ask him why he hides me from his family but he always uses the excuse that he wants to wait until our relationship is "strong enough" or "stable enough." Until the last date where I tried to kiss her and she denied the kiss and after we finished watching a movie at the movie theater we were making out,. However, she is a little skeptical about me. She asked me why would I date someone like her and I can get better women and am I using her for something. It had me stupefied and shocked that she would think something like that. The rest is history she canceled on me 3 times on dates after agreeing to the dates. Today I just deleted her number. What do you guys think? He walked in and we immediately made brief eye contact. He sat almost directly behind me with his friends and kept walking past me. The whole night we kept looking at each other and then glancing away. He was also being unusually loud with his friends. At the end of the game, everyone was trying to get off the bleachers and out of the gym. His friends dipped and he kind of lingered behind, and as I was standing and waiting for some free space to get off the bleachers, he stood really close to my shoulder and pressed against it for a good 3-4 seconds (which I think is unusual because he had plenty of room). He didn't move away or react when we made that brief physical contact. Do you think he was interested or trying to get my attention? |

We texted every day for a week and a half and went on one date that went great. Zack continued texting me and we set up a second date - we had a time, but not a place set. Then, out of the blue, he stopped talking to me. I would call it ghosting, but he still followed me on social media & was watching all my stories. The day we were supposed to go on the second date came and went without a word from him. A couple of days after the date that never happened, I visited Zack at work and he apologized and said he'd been sick. I took that as a sign he wasn't interested since he'd stopped talking to me and didn't even message me about being "sick" on the day of the date. Zack hasn't talked to me in three weeks, but he's been talking to Jon, my guy friend, about me all the time. Jon said that Zack will bring me up at least once every shift they work. Zack will talk about me as if we're still talking, saying things like, "yeah, me and Lisa do this together - me and Lisa do that together." What he's saying are things we did when we were talking, but are definitely not doing now... seeing as he hasn't messaged me in three weeks and stood me up on a date.. It's bizarre. I just felt like ignoring her for part of the day when I saw her last Friday. She couldn't approach me gently about why I was ignoring her so I talked back to her and cursed her out. She told me she's "never" done anything wrong to me. This is a woman who told me to my face that she liked me or did and that she liked sitting down to talk to me. When I got hurt once, she was running her fingers down my back. I asked her out to a date back in August of last year but then she's like, "I'm not off." We do have different days off. When she gave me her cell# back in September of last year, she told me that I wouldn't be bothering her. Fast forward to the last 2 months up to now. She ONLY seems to talk to me when she wants me to do something for her. She'll blow off my text messages at times and not even bother to get back to me and apologize. She'll see me days later and be like, "Hi," as if nothing is wrong. She even has a problem now sitting down to talk to me and walking to talk to me. I've only had 2 girlfriends ever in my life (I'm 34 now) and I never blew up at them while and after they dumped me (first girlfriend dumped me because she liked another guy and my last girlfriend dumped me through text messages after I was with her for close to 11 months). |
