But then we talked about it and he didn't think he had his life together enough for that. I actually came to agree with him and we settled on being fwb. But the thing is I don't want to get attached and I want sex if we're only fwb. We do have great, long sex but he also likes to just hang out. Sometimes he'll come over or we'll go out and we won't even have sex. Which is something that is more like what couples do. I just don't really get this whole limbo thing. Thats also coupled with him being available less often so I'm like what's the point in being fwb that barely sleep together (sometimes it's once a month). I can't say that we had this undenying, magical connection. But things take time. She was moving to a new place and asked me to come to her house warming party. I figured since we had kissed a few times, gone on 4-5 dates she was inviting me as her date. So I bought a gift and took the 2 hour trip to her apartment. I was going to drink so I didn't want to drive. She greets me with a hug and then immediately storms off to the living room. She didn't ask if I wanted a tour or anything. I thought she was going to show me around and introduce me to people. While I am no stranger to people I don't know it was still weird being the only guy that no one knew. I don't mind situations like these but her friends were a bit introverted. It's hard to mingle with people that all know each other well, only talk about internal things familiar to them and no one asks you anything. My date paid no attention to me whatsoever and was busy all night. My friends even talked me in to bringing an overnight bag, just in case. After about 2 hours off trying to connect with her friends, barely spoken anything to my date I decided to go home. Weirdly enough I get a thank you text from her the next day and she asked when we could see each other again. I thought we were done. I don't understand. I was ready to break it off based on that experience and she thinks we are good. What would you do? |

Why? She's one of my direct supervisors. I ignored her today at work since seeing her just made me mad today and she got all defensive over me ignoring her. I ended up cursing her out which I shouldn't have done. I'm not a person who just blows up at anybody like you really have to be truly messed up to me to make me blow up at you. I just cursed her out. I didn't threaten her or break anything at work. I got written up and suspended. I go back to work next Tuesday. Even in middle school and I can always remember lining up my boyfriends. I've had three serious long term relationships, each over a year long, and each within two weeks of each other. I guess I fall too quickly. My current relationship I've been in for a little over a year. He treats me amazing and loves me like I couldn't have ever imagined. For about four months now I can't help but feel distant and unsatisfied with myself. We barely have sex anymore. I find myself thinking of being single and having that experience. I can imagine marrying my current boyfriend in the future but I don't feel I can fully love him until I can learn to love myself alone and I know if I never be single I'll feel like this forever like I've missed out. Well her bFF looked at her when I entered a room and said her name. Her BFF helped her approach me. She stared @ me in school. A teacher she talked to told me she talked about me. Well her friends stare at me when they see me around town. Then like family members noticed me like her cousins and they stare at me. I see her around town he places herself in spots she can c me and Ill see her.Well her and her mom have done mean stuff on my fb like they unliked a picture announcing my dads death when I blew her off. Like literally I've never seen anybody else wearing a cast as big as mine. I could postpone the date. He'd understand. But also, I really like him and he might lose interest in me and fall for another girl if I wait. I fell awkwardly during my gymnastics routine which broke both bones (tibia and fibula) in my leg. That's why I have a toes to thigh cast and have to use crutches. I can get around ok and my friend said she'd drop me off for the date since I can't drive. So, should I keep the date? | Question: Does anyone feel this way about pretty women vs normal looking people? Posted: 04 Jan 2019 05:30 PM PST Hi I'm a 26 year old firefighter paramedic and I've really noticed something that I do and i asked the rest of my team and they all agree with me even the 2 woman. What I asked them was do u feel more empathy when your patient is a pretty woman. I dont know why I do but for example yesterday I responded on 3 serious medical calls. A guy who cut open his leg with a chain saw, an older late who fell of a latter and snapped her leg and broke a bunch of other bones and an attractive young woman who broke her forearm fall off a bike and by far me and my team felt the most empathetic twords her. Obviously I give my best twords every patient and I would never give anything less then my best even if it's a guy who I hate but when it's a pretty women it's kinda like when it's a young kid in a way the it just yanks at your heart string so much. Does anyone know why this is? |
