Summer of 2017 I made some bad decisons and did some things I regret and hold some secrets about it.... nothing I havent worked out everything has been dealt with legally and people wise, but I am always afraid that someone will find out and judge me and not like me because of it and I also feel I can't be friends with a person unless they know cause of that fear. I am in highschool and I put up a lot of walls because of the situation of summer 2017, anyone been in a simmilar place or have any advice?

Recently, my best friends' great uncle died and she went to his funeral this weekend in Kansas. Should I give her a day or two to have her own space or should I text her and try to make her feel better?

I don't have friends and I'm not a very outgoing person like my siblings. I had a bestfriend but we're are drifting a part and my mom always put it in my face that I'll grow up to be depressed and lonely because my old bestfriend has new friends and does not care for me anymore which I believe is true. The girl left me in the mornings to be with her friends but we still sit together during lunch because I obviously do not have anyone else to sit with and her friends don't have the lunch for her to leave me. I'm slowly growing from her and that's fine I'm happy that she has new friends who she's able to be herself around. She always tried to change me to be someone who I'm not. That would be like being someone for her which I love myself more than her. With me being a junior in high school I only have one year left ending the school year with no one except for myself I believe. That's okay because I hope in the future I have friends that accept me for me and share the same goals as me. Advice?

I told my friends that my birthday was on February 14, 2003 but my actual birthday is on August 28, 2004. How can I get out of this? I don't know why I lied. I just wanted them to think im older but now I feel guilty and I can't stop crying. Do you think it was a bad idea for me to lie about my birthday?

I'm 20 and this girl we'll call her Kelly is turning 19. We both graduated from high school together and became bffs our sophomore year. We had a great connection when it came to having funny laughs and making enjoyable memories. But something always upset me about her and she would always try and one up you. She's an only child and she's a very smart girl 4.0 but she's also belittling when it comes to you succeeding. I was smart in school, average 3.5 student, but I got more time on varsity in basketball than she did and I could tell there was some resentment even though we were teammates. Long story short we are both now juniors in college and I still care about her but have this other BFF who is amazing and we just click. Kelly hasn't really tried contacting me and when she does she never asks how I am or what's new. The only time she'll messages me is if she sees I'm hanging out with my bff Jordan. Kelly hangs out with so many people but never contacts me unless she sees I'm with Jordan. Besides that it's forget about me and then makes me feel bad. I care about her but I also don't like the way I'm being treated because I still say hey how are you? When are you around? And she doesn't respond. What can I do?

Me, my friend and her boyfriend all planned to get a hotel room for NYE. I reserved the room, but I didn't pay. I have until the 29th to cancel. They were to get food, drinks, etc. But the other day, she talked about doing a party at a amusement park, which was a party and she originally didn't want to do that. But I said it's too cold to be outside at an amusement park, so I looked at other parties. She pointed out a good one and pointed out a closeby hotel. I told a few other friends, like I said I would do and she said fine. But by the time we get nonrefundable tickets to the party, she told me she and her man didn't confirm that and they'd be fine at the hotel. I said we can still do the hotel, only me and my other friends are doing the party first. She thinks it's a bad idea and called me selfish for doing a 180. She wants us to blow off the party and "admit my mistake" to them. What do I do?

In the past 2 years I've kept to myself. I haven't had many friends and find it less drama. I really do like being a loner. I still do stuff like going to the movies, I go to the gym and work out or play basketball. I don't like to drink or party anymore. I did all that when I was younger and my old friends did like to drink allot. I find that just having drinking buddies isn't good. Most of them can be fakes. On weekends I do side jobs, watch movies or youtube, online chatting. I find that online chatting can be better then the bar.

I'm now 14 days with no drinking and I'm going to go sober. I was never a person that had a drinking problem. I would get drunk maybe twice a month sometimes three. If I was bored at home during my weekends off I would always go to the bars or hang out with a drinking buddy. Some of my old friends can't even keep in a girlfriend because there dumb drunks. I no longer hang out with them. It's been a couple years now since I've decided to keep to myself. I like it better this way. I would go out to bars to meet women and it never went anywhere. I've heard bars are the worst place and I do believe it. I now try doing it in the daytime. Like the mall, downtown area, coffee shop, bar/restaurants, gym. I find this to be so much better then drinking at the bar.

Ever since I went to this high school, people are cutting in line. They don't think about other people behind them and they want to get lunch first. Is this normal? I was in a different school before and no one would cut in line, and now people are doing it and they don't care.

My friend and I used to play League of Legends together, and one day she asked if she could use my account to play competitive and that I can just let her know beforehand if Im going to play on my account. The last part annoyed me a bit since I feel I shouldn't have to inform her when going on my own account, but she said she'd do it for me if I asked and I felt a bit guilty so I just agreed. But the other day I reinstalled it, feeling excited to play again, and shes mainly been on her account. I let her know that we could play again but just got a long message from her saying that she doesn't mean to be rude but it's more "our" shared account since she spent money on it, which I never asked or knew she was going to do? Plus I spent money on it myself... I know it's just an account and I wouldn't normally be this annoyed, but I just feel a bit upset and that she's walking all over me. I don't know if I should stand up for myself or if I'm just overreacting, what should I do?

I have been going to school everyday completely stoned just because I am sick and tire of this bs, I have no friends the only people who talk to me use me and it is draining. I want to go to parties, I want to have fun with boys but I cant because I have no friends. In January my friends invited me on a cruise. One said she couldn t come but my friend Judy invited her sorority sister to come with us. She s sweet and I do not mind. However, I recently moved to another state and I decided to fly to the port instead of spend a full day driving. The other two live 5 hours from the port and decided to drive. Cool, I ll meet them their. Judy asked to pick me up from the airport and I agreed but just last week she decided we should split the parking of her car even though I am not the one rode tripping with her to the port. I don t think this is far at all and think Judy and her sorority sister should be responsible for it because they are driving. Am I wrong?

There is only one way to describe my mother in law (Pam). She is beautiful. From looking at her, you would never know she could have a daughter my age. She is also one of the nicest persons you ever will meet. Pam and I work in the same office building. Occasionally we have lunch at a local restaurant. Sometimes when my wife can get off work, she joins us for lunch. At the last lunch, it was just Pam and me. It was my friend's 50th last week so I decided to invite her for a holiday. I paid for her flights, visa, accomodation, etc. She seemed very happy and excited. We talked about it and it was with a mutual agreement of course. $10000 is a big money for my family. BIG! I was planning to spend a part of this holiday having her at our place with my family too. Him: Married for almost 16 years. 38 years old, a few kids. Me: In a relationship for 2 months. Almost 28 years old. No kids. We've known each other since June 2016, but became friends in March 2017. We worked together, he was my boss who had a reputation for being a jerk, but he was just a hard-*** when it came to his job. I've been in love with him since May 2017, but have never shown it (to my knowledge). I am cool with his wife and kids and actually having a loving friendship-type thing with his wife. His eldest son recently gave me a hug and his wife hugs me all the time. I don't have my license, as it's suspended. He works within a couple minutes of me and gives me rides home from work sometimes due to my coworkers either getting off earlier than me or way later than me. He goes through periods of seemingly avoiding me or being distant from me, which I understand. I can be overly emotionally attached, yet his wife doesn't seem to notice or care. He's been opening up to me more recently, telling me about a friend of his who recently committed suicide and he shows off A LOT when it comes to his job. He's always going on and on about how much money he's making and how awesome he is at his job (which I do the same where I make myself sound amazing at my job lol). My mom used to always wonder why he wouldn't speak to me much when there were other people around and honestly, I don't know why. What's your take on our friendship? Be honest. P.S. Yesterday, on the way home, he asked if I was hot or cold and said that he was burning up and he just wanted to make sure he didn't make me too cold if I were cold to begin with. He also wanted to make sure I got inside my house okay before he drove away. Wow, loveable. I don't "use" him for free rides. I love riding with him because we can actually talk and be ourselves. When we see each other around other people (especially his wife or my boyfriend), we are unable to really talk or be ourselves towards each other. By the way, it said we WORKED together and he WAS my boss. We haven't worked together in a year and a half.

So I recently moved back in my hometown after graduated college in another town, I meet again with my 2 friends from middle school after a long time but we were never really hangout outside school and even in school I don t really be with them so now they re constantly hangout and sometimes come unannounced to my house and that s really weird I started to feel uncomfortable, sometimes I had to lie so they won t come or ask to hangout. And recently one of them want us three to take photo shoot of us in a studio or something wearing matching clothes, and I was really weirded out to think that. I don t want to. I m not mean or anything but I don t really consider them as bestfriends to the point take those "best friends photos". So if anyone has the same situation as me why would you do?

So basically my friend said that someone had said apparently I got offended over cuss words and told the teacher. When I told her who was it, she said "I don't know I just heard a rumor going around, but they said a quiet girl". Supposedly this rumor was told around a time two females were arguing, and my friend said I was absent, although I was actually present. Last year, this guy told everyone at the lunch table that I'm the ugliest girl in school. My boyfriend knows I still don't like him, but he's friends with him anyways. Also, there's this group of girls and they all dislike me and one of them was just gossiping about how ugly I am. He's friends with about half the group and he was friends with the girl who called me ugly until yesterday (which is when it happened). My friend is 15 she's pregnant with her second baby. She had her first baby at 12 she's dating a guy who's twice her age. My friend called the guy I like Gay because he wore really tight pants and his hair color is pink. I wouldn't call a person gay what hair color they have or what they wear as clothes. And I would never call my friend's crush Gay unless I have facts they are.....what they are wearing or what their hair color is has nothing to do with sexuality.

Is that always what she means? Let's say a woman gives a guy dating advice, gives him tips on where to look for work, tips on where to look for an apartment, invites him to her place, says she wants to hangout, and says she wants to help Him improve his social skills. Should he take her word for it when she says she just wants to be friends? Or is there more there? I just have this weird feeling that she could want to date in the future once I find work.
