I've asked multiple times for him to delete or block her number and he hasn't, then today I found out he is following her on social media AFTER I've told him how her calling and texting bothers me. Here's the situation, though: i'm not exactly sure what to call him. I mean, the label doesn't really matter, but I like to compartmentalize things a bit more than I probably should. We go to uni together, none of our friends know that we see each other as anything more than platonic pals, and we really only hang out with each other on the weekends (we're both very busy with sports and work and school). We talk to/message/snapchat each other almost constantly, as much as are schedules allow, at the very least, and we get along really well when we are together in person. We talk about some pretty deep stuff from our pasts and our lives back home and things like that. We spend friday and saturday nights together almost every weekend, eating snacks, wrestling, bickering, and dissecting flaws in our latest binge-watched movie/series. We buy each other small gifts quite often, cuddle and kiss more often than we have sex, and spend most of our time together just talking. We spend all morning in bed and then leave for lunch together. I guess, what I'm getting at is this: are we more friends with benefits, or does it almost sound more like we're dating but with very limited free time to actually see each other? |

I went to the store last night and $75.00 on groceries for food for today so we could make sandwiches, have fruit and things to drink after a run we all did. Remind you I also bought a present for my girlfriend for an upcoming trip we are asking with her whole family and gave it to her this morning. Her response, I don't lie it take it back. Throughout the day her sister barely talk to me and her son barely talk to me as well we made the sandwiches and have the food and chips and drinks after the run and I was headed to the airport to spend time with my parents for the next two days my girlfriend did say goodbye to then got into her sisters car. I said goodbyes everyone elseit I went to say goodbye and they all got in the car without coming over to say goodbye to me in the meantime I got a text from my girlfriend stating that I never said goodbye So I dove back and said goodbye to everyone. when I got to the airport I sent her a text stating that I was at the airport and her response was she was embarrassed by the way I handled things when I left today and she was embarrassed That I should pack my things and leave when I get home on Monday. I tried to call her a couple times on my layovers and there was no answer what should I actually do or how much do you put up with in a relationship. |

I rejected her while still being nice to her and being her friend. She got attached to me, so eventually I cut the line and began ignoring her. She got the hint, that I didn't want a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with her. She let go of me. A few months of knowing her, I got close to this girl who I knew since high school, I told my friend about her. He told the girl who liked me, she was heart-broken. She suffers depression and anxiety, but she healed overtime. A few months later, this guy, who I'm now really good friends with, he joined our class, and this girl immediately that day, developed feelings for him. She really liked him. She got his number and stuff. He also rejected her because he had a gf and didn't like her more than a friend. Now, my other friend tells me she thinks I like her because I've been telling her to stop chasing him. I've told her to not chase him because she'll get hurt. This guy chases the slutty kind of girls, whereas this girl expects the "sweet, caring and loving" guy in a relationship. Now I ignore her unless she asks me for help in class. Recently, this girl told me she got a bf. Funny fact is, she's been hiding this "bf". She's shown me every guy she's liked, but not this one. My friend she liked told me she's lying "she's saying that so you chase her". This bf thing happened suddenly too. What do you think? |
| Question: Advice for a bad relationship please? Posted: 03 Mar 2018 04:06 PM PST My bf & I have been together 2 years. Last 6 months have been bad with lots of fighting. He suggested we take a break to figure things out. I was upset but he said that time apart might help spending time with other people. He planned to move out for 2 months. A few weeks into it I visited my friend at her beach house & we went out for some drinks. A guy started chatting me up & I eventually went home with him. I hadn't been intimate with my bf for 6 months & being tipsy & being shown affection just felt good. The next morning though made me realise that I just wanted to work things out with him & gave me clarity about what I wanted. When I told him he started crying & yelling that if i could have sex with another guy in 3 weeks I mustn't have ever loved him. I tried to explain but he just wouldn't hear it. He became violent for the 1st time ever & punched me in the stomach & stormed out. I tried to follow him but fell down the stairs because i was winded & ended fracturing my wrist After all that blew over he apologised for hitting me & said it was inexcusable but to trust that he would never be violent again & he said I should forgive him because what I did was inexcusable as well. The issue is that I am now scared of him. I have never been hit before. I understand what I did was unforgivable but it just feels like we can't work it out. I just need some impartial advice. I don't need to be lectured about what a whore I am for cheating-he has told me that enough. Thanku. |

We sometimes study together, have heart to heart conversations, we danced at a social dance together, we texted everyday, sometimes we would flirt, he made references to me being his potential gf and everything was going fine. He knows I'm attracted to him and he thinks I'm attractive too but also knows I only recently broke up with my ex. And that I still talk to my ex strictly casually though. One time my ex sent me a very disturbing and cryptic message and I thought he harmed himself so I called the guy I liked because I didn't know what to do. The guy rushed out to comfort me, got me water and kinda ruffled my hair to let me know everything was going to be ok. I just thought he was so sweet but suddenly... the day after, he just stopped texting me. Nothing at all. I asked him to hang out a few times but every time he said he was busy. I don't know why he has suddenly started acting so distant. He told me one time during a conversation that he doesn't think I'm over my ex... is he being cautious because he thinks I'm using him as a rebound? Or maybe he just lost interest in me? Or maybe he just never thought of me in that way? |

Then two days later, she met up with his friend as well as the guy. I then came along with them and actually enjoyed myself despite it being awkward. However, my friend decided that she liked his friend better. Stuff happens and there is a bit of an argument between my friend and the first guy she was talking to. The next day, she tells me she likes them equally. But it seems that the friend of this guy likes my friend and is being flirty. She has told the guy now she just wants to be friends but why bother being flirty with both of them still? The guy and his friend are 'like family' but why would be go behind his back and flirt with my friend? Why is my friend kind of leading them on? But what I really want to know is - what should I do? This is my best friend we're talking about but this is getting i my nerves (I am not attracted to either Of the boys although they are both very nice people). |
