Question: I cheated on my wife and feel awful about it what can I do? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 03:43 PM PST I know that this is a terribly serious and bad situation. I just feel awful about what I did. See I travel a lot for my work. Monday night I was staying at this motel and ate at the restaurant next door. There was this blonde waitress that kept flirting with me and she was about my age. Women never have paid much attention to me other than my wife so I am not used to this temptation and she was very attractive. Next thing I know she's in my motel room and I'm sure you know the rest. It was like I just completely lost control. I don't even know any more about her than her first name. I feel like a monster. I've been married to my wife for three years, and we have a two year old daughter. Both my wife and I are 23. She's the best wife in the world and so sweet. We were both virgins on our wedding day. And my amazing little girl. I just can't believe my shocking deed. What can I do? I just feel so awful. My wife doesn't know but I think I need to tell her. I don't want to destroy our family I want to grow old with my wife but I know this will hurt her. How do I apologize to her? What can I do? I need some guidance here. Thank you. |
Question: Should i bring this up to my husband all the time or let it go? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 02:38 PM PST I was forced into marriage back in 2012, basically my parents forced me and my husband. I was age 20 at that time. I thought my life was over and i cannot get anywhere. That time I had nothing, no car, no education (just high school). My husband is a good guy (just short and not so attractive looking). So I denied the marriage. he pushed me into education and put me in good position. Today I am 1 semester away from bachelors degree in nursing. Its been almost 5 years, and i cant get past that i was forcefully married. the man is great! It just hurts me how i got into a marriage. To put this into nutshell. I always bring it up which I shouldn't. I say if i wasn't married I was going to do this do that. I know he felt bad. I just wished I had a voice at that time. I believe every woman should have a voice, they should get the freedom to go to school, freedom to choose whoever they want to marry, and freedom to make good choice. And that is why i just can't accept this. should i let this go? since i can't change the past |
Question: Queenstar do you see how you feel whenever you are walking outside with your sister? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 02:35 PM PST Do you remember that Nigerian movie you watched called blood sisters starring Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekinde? Do you remember the story of Cain and Abel? You see Queenstar? You feel invisible around your sister. You feel like people praise her and are nice to her instead of you. Guys never notice you but her instead. Guys never approach you or compliment you but her instead. I know how you feel. I don't blame you. It is not your fault. But your secret feelings, emotions, and thinking will save you one day. I have felt your pain. You see that girl named Esther from the Nigerian movie blood sisters? You and her have a similar behavior. If you don't believe me watch the movie right now on your phone you will see what will happen. You will learn a big lesson from it. Read the Bible. Read the story of cain and abel. https://youtu.be/BoSV35FVwpc https://youtu.be/4moIWj82Xuw |
Question: Girl scouts is not what I expected. Should I convince my daughter to quit? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 02:35 PM PST I signed my daughter up for Girl Scouts not fully knowing what exactly they do. So here is the issue, you don't just drop your daughter off at girl scouts. You have to stay and sit and watch her and the other girls do booooring things. They meet twice a month and have about 2 outings per month. The outings are always expensive and the meetings are long and boring. The other parents are older and I have no one to talk to since I don't relate to any of them. Should I just tough it out until May 2017 when it ends, or convince my daughter to find something else to do? |
Question: How to get over my daddy issues? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 02:22 PM PST I m a 22 year old female and my parents have been divorced since I was in fifth grade (it was a bad divorce they don t speak to each other). I was and still am a daddy s girl, I m his oldest. My dad now lives with his wife and her daughter, my step sister, and my blood sister. I m in college and although I live with my mom I m independent. Over the years my dad has grown more distant from me, he will make plans with me and then break them because of an obligation he has with his wife or step daughter or my sister. He doesn t really speak to me anymore. I desperately want to have a relationship with my dad but it really seems like he s trying to cut me out of his life. All I need to know is how do I get over this? When he cancels plans with me or doesn t speak to me I get depressed and it s really affecting my life in a negative way, from my relationships to my school work. I really love him but it seems that he doesn t want me around anymore. I just need to know how to leave this behind me and get on with my life. |
Question: 24, single female looking to relocate. Where to? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 01:56 PM PST I grew up in MA (outside of Boston) and lived in London from 2011–2015. Moved back home mid 2015 up til now after my family member passed away & bad breakup. I'm looking for a fresh start! In a nutshell: big foodie, nature lover, music + art scene important, I'm also a creative type (film/media/events). Suggestions? I'm thinking about Seattle but am hesitant due to the 'seattle freeze' and if there are any jobs in my sector. I've visited LA many times and move quite briefly but certain aspects were not for me (fear of earthquakes, traffic, competition). Thoughts on Atlanta/Austin? I've never been to either (nor Seattle). |
Question: How to get over girlfriend that you don't trust? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 11:29 AM PST so me and my gf fighting a lot lately because I don't trust her anymore, she lives like 30 minutes away from me so I guess it's kinda distance relationsips.Well at current moment she's my ex-gf. I don't trust her because she suddenly started to get super tired after work, because of that we barely started to talk with one another. Like when I'm online waiting to skype with her for a talk she spends with me 15 minutes and then says she's tired and ''goes to bed'' when i can see her keep siting on other social networks. And what's weird her work begins at 8am till 4pm but she returns at home in like 7pm and sometimes even at 9pm she can't really explain why it takes for her so long to be extra 3 hours at ''work''. Because of that ofcourse we started arguing i asked what's going on and she only respond with everything is OK when it's clearly not,you just can't work everyday extra 3-5hours that's not possible especcially for 6 months straight. And problem is now we are broken up but i'm still obbsessed with her i mean i check her page every minute and another big problem is I don't have really friends to get over her I mean i can't hangout to distract my attenction even at work i still think of her |
Posted: 01 Dec 2016 11:21 AM PST Ok well my grandmother raised him and he said this when has said he wants to die was 3 years old (because he had to eat vegetables at dinner time). Now he's 6 and he either says "I can't wait until I die and everyone else is dead" because his iPad died or "I'm gonna kill myself" because he had to do his work at home because he missed the school bus. He has even pulled out a butter knife and tried to stab his visiting 2 year old cousin because she kept messing with his toys. Let me say- my grandmother lets him get away with anything. He is constantly on YouTube watching mostly gaming, killing, and shooting videos. He like famous YouTube gamers. I don't watch videos like that so I wouldn't know their specific names, but they're vulgar. If I tell my grandmother she says something to him, but he ignores her. If I try to do something like turn off the video or take his iPad, she scolds ME! I honestly find this so annoying. Like I said, he threaten suicide and has even packed his clothes and went out the garage door and *I* had to go catch him. Could this be from the years of inappropriate YouTube videos he watches or should we really be concerned? Any advice you would give? * MY FIRST GRADE COUSIN |

Question: Am I in love with my teacher or do I just like him as a teacher? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 08:17 AM PST I can t understand my feelings. I just want to identify them. When I first got to know him, I thought he was a good teacher, his teaching is unique and understandable. Then throughout the years (from 7th to 10th grade) I knew more about him and how he cares about us so damn much. I realized that he knows beforehand that we won t understand a certain part and that he makes up anything to make that information reach our minds. I like his hardwork, his extreme care and conscience. Also there are those students that annoy him and interrupt him that he yells at.. And even once he got into a big argument with them and others and didn t let them in, but throughout the rest of the period he looked guilty and angry with himself for doing so, and the next time he apologized to them. It made me really angry. He didn t do anything wrong. He did the right thing yet he apologized.. That s what I like about him, that no matter how much the others are at fault he still somehow forgives them and even apologizes when they are the ones at fault. He also has that hilarious side that I like. I just want to give him a big hug :p maybe in the end I m just a huge fan of him. o.o Also, he s married and I ve never seen his wife before. So what do you think that feeling is? |
Question: Should I pass this guy up and wait for the other one? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 08:04 AM PST Yesterday I went into this drugstore where usually I talk to this guy. He is nice and he gave me his name and number and said whenever you want to go to this restaurant I'm free. He does seem really frugal though which I don't like. Only problem is that he is a little older and he is just a store clerk. I'm a 24 year old female and everyone tells me I can do better especially my mom. She said he is nice friend material but that she would rather see me with somebody with a career someone who knows a little of what they want in life. Even my friend's mom said you have to research the guy all around to see if he is a good guy. That's why my friend is married. There is another guy that comes into where I work at and he is a behavioral therapist he is educated patient and kind but I don't get to talk to him often. He is really nice and we hit it off the time we did talk. He comes in ocassionally. Everyone says he would be better for me but should I just wait this out? And just wait to see if the behavioral therapist guy comes in, he is also really good with kids. I've seen this guy about 5 times already. |
Question: My boyfriend likes very short hair with cropped nape but I have long hair. What to do? Posted: 01 Dec 2016 06:18 AM PST My boyfriend keeps saying how much he likes short hair on women whenever he sees a woman with short hair when we are watching TV together. And well, I have long hair and a 'round face'. I really kind of want to try a new look, but I don't know what kind of a cut I should get or if I should even get one. Should I get a hair cut or should I just stick with what I have? My boyfriend wants me to cut my hair very short. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfarGJv1vLc or better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egwvAyIeh-g |
Posted: 01 Dec 2016 04:13 AM PST This is a long one so bare with me. Freshman year 2001 here in a small town SC there was a girl who moved down the road from me from California. She was religious and didn't believe in dating before 17 or outside her religion. Well it didn't stop us we ended up falling in love and I mean hard. We didn't do anything like have sex but it was funny because I didn't even care. Other students use to make fun of that about us but it didn't stop us from having fun and loving one another. By the end of the school year she found out her dad had gotten another job back in California and would be moving that summer. It crushed us both. Our last day together was heart breaking. Even after she left and the years went on I was torn up inside even when I would pass her old house. Years passed and the Myspace era was here. In 2007 I looked her up and there she was. We go in tiuch and found out she was coming back on thanksgiving to visit. It was the happiest day I had had in a long time. We hung out the entire day but it had to come to an end. I told her i never stopped loving her we kissed and that was it. Here it is 2016 i found her on Facebook but she's married. I tried adding her but she denied it. I messaged her asking if she remembered me and she ended up blocking me. My question is why would she do that? And why do i still feel like this? And should I just bot care? I do love my life now but I still care for her. |

She dumped me because I wasn't mature back then. She got married for 2 years and this happened. She did agree to meet for lunch, I wonder if this is an opportunity or "just friends." |

Question: If you had to choose would you rather....? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 07:56 PM PST A 3 bedroom upstairs apartment in your parents house in which you have to fix up yourself??? Leaking roof, new bathroom, kitchen floors, paint job, new refrigerator. Also you have no money saved to do repairs barely getting by living paycheck to paycheck. Or would you rather rent a 2 bedroom apartment in a brand new building where appliances are new and repairs are done. |
Posted: 30 Nov 2016 07:27 PM PST She is supporting, encouraging, and sharing in the slander of me by means of my ex. I don't think she's doing it maliciously like me ex, she's just easy to manipulate. However, I no longer trust her and will cut her out of my life for her disrespectful actions. Should I tell her she disrespected me (I doubt she will do anything about it) or just cut her out without saying anything? She's moving hundreds of miles away in 2 weeks and I doubt I will ever see her again, as I don't intend on ever contacting her and replying to contact. |
Question: How should I bring up my fiancee giving money to her sister without telling me? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 07:12 PM PST A while back after we shortly started living together I found out my fiancee was giving her older sister money to help her out. At the time we could afford to help her out and I was ok with it. Fast forward to a year later and I find out she paid one of her bills. We are struggling ourselves since we just needed to fix my car and we began saving for a wedding and new home. The problem I have with this is that her sister basically uses her and only comes to her when she needs help. Its so frustrating because her sister is a perfectly able body and works part time when she could be working two jobs and supporting her single self without slummimg off my fiancee. The way I found out was on her phone when she asked me to pull up an email and read it. At that moment her mother texted her saying "idk why you paid it for her." I didn't say a word because I dont know how to bring it up to her. And I mentioned our money situation quite a few times and she is clearly hiding it from me. How would you bring it up? |
Question: What is "over the line" for a friendship with a married co-worker? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 07:11 PM PST This question is half serious, half just want to see the smart *** answers. A man and a woman work together. One is married, one isn't. You start noticing they're spending an unusual amount of time together. What types of things would have to happen for you to think there was more going on there than friendship? |
Question: Are lunch ladies/lunch servers allowed to ask why your child is getting something? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 06:58 PM PST My 7th grade boy was at school today when he asked for a salt packet. The cashier/lunch lady was sitting by the checkout line and asked why he needed it, and said that there were a lot of kids asking for it today. (4 kids asked for salt in her words) When the lady asked why he needed the salt he just said "Its for my fries." The lady said OK and he went back to his seat. She sent 3 kids over to him to tell him the lunch lady was angry. He looked over and she was yelling at him from across the Cafeteria to "Hold up your fries" He just nodded his head "No" and walked out of the lunch room. I am not sure what to think. I am angry at the lunch lady for yelling across the 50 ft gap in the lunch room and sending 3 kids to deliver her message because she is too lazy to get up out of the chair she sits in all day and tell him herself. Are they allowed to ask them why the need a certain condiment? |
Question: What do you think I shouldve/could've said instead? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 06:48 PM PST I recently got a journal and I want to start writing about all the things I should've said to someone and want to say to someone and thought I'd start with my recently situation with the guy I really liked. So he had to move back to his hometown and I genuinely felt a connection, an attraction & wanted to be straightforward and honest, so I said "hey I like you're like half way across the country but I was wondering if we could talk more, get to know one another that is if you want to, just thought I'd be straightforward and honest with you" & this is what he wrote back "hey, I appreciate the honesty and I'll be straightforward with you. I don't really have in any interest in creating LDR/friendships because I find them to be tedious and a lot of work. I know it sounds harsh, but I don't really mean anything person by it, you seem nice & I wish you well but that's how I feel :/" I genuienly thought we were going to talk about our feelings or whatever so I told him, that I was kind of sad that, thats how he felt about them & that he'll never know unless he tries and how I think it'd be nice just to have someone to talk to, wouldn't you want & he told me he did not want that and thought he made it clear in his message while remaining nice & to respect his boundaries & not to text him again. I unfortunately did anyways cause I literally felt heartbroken but anyway.. since I can't really reach out to him anymore i figured i should write down what I should've said, wanted to say |
Question: A colleague of mine from another department stopped talking to me.? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 06:15 PM PST I'm recently a new intern here in the company and I met this guy who was very approachable to me at first, he introduced himself and initiated a chat with me on Skype at work. We continued chatting on skype everyday at work for a week. At first he asked me out for lunch. It didn't work out for the first few times, since we both had plans and he hurt his legs on day 3, so he couldn't walk somewhere far. On day 4, we managed to go out for lunch, even though his legs were not fully recovered. He was talkative and joked around with me a lot. Before we both went back to work, he asked me if I would like to walk to the train station with him after work, and I agreed. We started chatting again on skype after lunch break, but he suddenly messaged me on FB that he had to leave early from work.We didn't continue the conversation on Facebook after he left work. The next day, he didn't come to work, so I messaged him on FB and see if he was okay. The only thing he replied was that he took a day off to rest his legs. I messaged him back but never got his reply afterwards, he haven't even read the message until now. The day after his day off, he didn't message me at all on skype in morning, until the period before lunch break. He asked me if I would like to grab lunch with his other colleagues which i haven't met. I said yes, I was the only female in the group and he stayed by my side for the whole time. After that day, he stopped talking to me and I don't understand why? |
Question: Should I ask him out? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 06:03 PM PST So I'm a freshman in high school and I ride the bus, there is this kid on my bus that I like and he is a sophomore. He always stares at at me but doesn't talk to me. I like him but I don't know how to start a conversation or even talk to him because I'm extremely shy. So my question is how do I talk to him? Should I even try talking to him? Should I not even like a sophomore? What should I say to him? |

Question: Not forgiving those who are sorry.? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:50 PM PST Tell how would someone or you feel if a loved one or friend intentionally hurt you; either physically, mentally, emotionally out of anger during an argument, and then they realized they made a mistake and apologized to you feeling terrible. However, you refused to forgive them, even months later after still trying to apologize when space was given. Then all of a sudden, you no longer hear or see them. Question: I am confused. 10 points to honest advice please? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 04:18 AM PST A divorced man has been chasing me for nearly a year. We often went out for dating though I did not accept him yet. 2 weeks ago I rejected his invitation for dinner then the next day, he posted his ex wife's phone number on his facebook so that I could see it. I had no idea why he did it. Days later he texted me to drop hints about offering me a diamond ring and I responded "a dream is a dream only" and he was totally silent since then. Question: Husband gave me a black eye and now blames me.? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:53 AM PST My husband and I were in the gym yesterday training together, I went off to do my own set when some guy out of nowhere started 'spotting' me during my squats and I mean he was pretty close to me, I stopped and asked him to go away. My husband noticed and came over words where said between them with the guy being a disrespectful jerk, he then took a swing at my husband who is a marine and my husband punched him back, this went on for a few seconds and I tried to grab my husbands back and pulled his arm away, not knowing it was me he elbowed me in the face and I now have a black eye. What's annoying me is that although he keeps apologising for what happened he's angry at me for the whole thing starting. Am I missing something here? Does he have a right to be angry with me? |
