From once hanging out with emo negative people (they changed last year I m not like that the opposite). So you know I get invited to hang out with people parties and stuff but I don t post pics on Instagram snapchat Etc. because why? You don t need to know who I hang out with anyways... Does being popular really matter? Does it really in the grand scheme of things? So many friends I know say "and I m kind of popular" oh "I hang out with the popular people" and I think it s just so ridicolus. Some of the grown up older people I know who weren t "popular" in school have become the most beautiful most hard working have a good friend group I know. Also in 8th grade is it so important to always hang out with guys? Gosh I ve turned this in to a rant but still I m so tired of all these pictures and posts. Does being popular matter? Will it matter in 5 years when you graduate? |

It wasn't working out for me AT ALL. my friends ALWAYS left me out and there wouldn't be a day that I come home crying because of them. Also, I cant get called on by a teacher. It's literally my worst fear. I just sit there shaking and trying not to cry while everyone just stares at me. It makes me feel like im the stupidest person ever. She will play the moral card when other people cheat. Which really bothers me. Because I feel she is just telling me things I want to hear. She also values material things. We are now sophomores in high school. Over the past year or so we underwent a series of major fights in which I noticed a common trend- she started the fights with snide, passive aggressive comments, and when I would ask her what was wrong and inevitably get upset/mad, she would act very condescending toward me, as if I was a small child. Also, when we hang out in big groups, she made an effort to make snide, sarcastic "jokes" about me and generally degrade me. She also constantly complained about her life to me but always told me I was overreacting if I told her anything about my life. Finally I cut off all communication with her for a month and found that it was blissful being away from her toxic influence. I formally told her that we were no longer best friends, but as we ran in the same social circles, we could still be friends. She treated me in the same condescending manner as she had before. However, now, after months of not being close friends, she's suddenly started making a huge effort to hang out with me, talk to me, etc. and frankly, I can't stand her. She's arrogant, condescending, and a terrible friend but I don't know how to get her out of my life, as we constantly see each other. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

I always have a deck of cards in my hands practicing shuffles, false shuffles, flourishes and such and I always keep learning. I bought several books regarding different subjects related to meantalism and sleight of hand and I'm progressing very quickly. I'm 16 and I do this as much as I can while not letting it get in the way of school and when I'm at school I always show the new tricks to my school mates because performing a trick to someone is just something I adore. Anyways, this one friend of mine saw how cool it is and now wants to learn on his own so he could also do these kind of tricks and gags and he asked me to help him. I cannot ignore the fact that a teammate in magic is always great. We would be able to come up with tricks together, do tricks that only two people can and have this teamwork that would be amazing when we perform in front of our friends and families. Question is, is it worth it to teach him so he could go around showing off tricks by his own as well? I know it sounds selfish, but I don't want anyone else to be good at what I'm doing, I don't want people to think oh he knows magic that's cool and not know I'm also here and that I have much more to show. I know that every step he makes I make three more in my direction since I am better and have been doing this for a while now. Should I team up and teach him or just keep doing it myself? |

We've been so close all this time that people assumed we were gay. I moved away to pursue other things when I got back he was locked up, mental ward. I'd visit him on and off, met his group, he certainly seemed to be the most functional. Then out of nowhere they released him, fit for society. I came to see his new house and it was a horrid place, clutter and moldy dishes and fast food containers everywhere, his lungs burnt out yet still smoking 7 an hour. The tragic thing was to watch this real stand up bloke try and make coffee---it took him forty minutes to load the machine, and once it Brewed he dropped the pot. He has no direction, he just lies in bed smoking-not even turn on the tv because it was too far away--no real ambition. It saddened me, and I couldn't spend another minute there so I left. Does that make me a bad person? |

I don't really mind the only problem is my orthodontist. Shes pretty young for an ortho she's 27. She's a really big woman and I don't wanna b rude but it's the truth. Most of her weight is held in her hips and her rear end is really large. She walks around the dentist office with her with literally half of her bare rear end showing. It's pretty disturbing. Now the office I go in with her is very small I'm surprised me the chair her and me all just fit in there. When she sits in her stool next to my head her pants sag even lower. When she starts working on my teeth her breasts practically engulf my head in them and I don't want that! She also always bends over to get something from her bottom draws but it always takes her 5 minuets to actually find what she needs and when she sends over her bare rear end is crushing my face against the wall. On time she was basically sitting and my face was just underneath her bare bottom. I don't wanna say anything because I'm shy and don't like anything that's too awkward between me and someone else. I try not to show any interest in what shes doing, but that just makes her want to do it more. I dont know, maybe im just mature for my age or something. Is there anyway i can help her become a better person? Because right now she has like no moral compass. She needs friends and good ones to help her, but i know that it will only drag me down if i stay friends with her. Ive been late and have gotten in trouble numerous times because of her. Halp. |

Posted: 01 Oct 2015 01:00 PM PDT Long story short, my supervisor told my friend at work that another coworker of ours isn't working up to speed. My friend told me this a few weeks ago. I was talking to my boss yesterday and she asked about some of my coworker's. I said "someone mentioned that so and so isn't working up to speed. How are they doing now?" My boss got upset and demanded I give names, but I tried to brush it off, but she wouldn't let it go. I ended up having to tell her that my friend and the supervisor were the ones who told me. I didn't know that we aren't supposed to talk about other people's performance. Today, my friend told me she doesn't want to be friends with me anymore and she refused to give me a reason. She won't listen to my side of the story, and she refuses to believe it was an accident. My boss even told her that I did not intentionally get them in trouble, and my friend didn't even get in trouble. Our supervisor did. Now my friend thinks I'm the worst person in the world even though I've been nothing but a good friend to her. We've been friends for a year, and this is the first issue that's come up. Is her decision to end a friendship over this validated? |

Problem is, one bedroom is extremely small, one is small and the other two are good-sized. I feel like without me finding this house, we would not have gotten it. Do I have the right to pick the first room? I would also be willing to pay more if I am able to get the first choice. |

He has a learning disability, attend college, and it is unfortunate that he isn't very fluent in English which I don't care. I accept him for who he is, he is a great guy inside and out. For the past months, every single day, he messages me saying "hey" "how are you: "where are you now" "what are you doing", and says the same things over and over again in the exact order lool. I don't mind talking to him, but just every singer day, I ignore him a lot of the times now. He says I'm his best friend, which I say he is mine too, but he messages me at like 6am sometimes, and it gets me annoyed. I never talk to anybody that often lol. I feel as though I am being a mean and ignorant person, but at the same time, I feel I need some space for a few days. I feel like he is pushing himself into my personal space by messaging me every day. I feel bad, but at the same time, I feel the need to distance myself from him for a little while. Any thoughts. I feel like I\m being an ignorant friend to him, but I don't know. I feel the need to take a step back.because this is happening literally every single day. If I'm in school or at home or wherever, I unlock my phone and I see his message. Any inputs. Am I being ignorant to him? |

I talked to her about it a few days ago and she said that she's trying to reconnect with old friends, she's trying to get her ex back and she's stressed about her grades. I get that but that's not an excuse. She's trying to reconnect with d friends but that doesn't mean to ignore me. I have gym class with her and two of my other friends and they were sitting in the bleachers and then I went to sit there and then they whispered to each other and then walked away and went to go talk in the corner with our other friends and after gym w have another class together and we always walk together but she just stares at me then walks away the we were doing an experiment in chemistry and she asked to being my paper home to copy it down so I said ok but then at the end she was gonna take it but I beat her to it. Then she says I need to relax like seriously we had 10 minutes left in class and she could have copied it down. Then wen the bell rang I left first and she was behind me and she says to move my *** and cut me off. I don't want to drop her as a friend because she's probably just going through a tough time and I respect that but still. Please help!! |

Look!" again and again and i was just literally hurt by that. She took like 6 screenshots and she even showed it to her mom laughing so hard but her mom didnt even laugh like her. After when she was sending me the videos she asked me, "do you want these screenshots too?" & i told her no, i have no need for those photos and she didnt send me. Posted: 01 Oct 2015 11:37 AM PDT ok about a little over two years ago, i heard from my ex/best friends. her husband kill herself two days before she call me. me and her husband do not like each others. here the things. she wanted us to be friends again even more. but i wasn't sure even those my heart wanted too. when we talk when we was young she play to many games. she would tell me to come see her or call her, but than she ask like she never did. it was like she didn't want anyone to know we kknow each others, now i met her friends so why bother. so we stop talking. now she tell me she was just playing hard to get. ok now we try again, she say she sorry for everthing and feel guity about it. it would never happen again. i thought it was strange you just lost your husband but i let it go. so we decide to take our time and see. my trust was very lose. i have too many mistruth, and is always afraid that if i do something with an woman i will get in trouble. the thing is when i would try to touch her she say not to hurt her, but in twenty years i never did. i try to show her but my fear return. than the next day she would ask my why i didn't. she know my fears. anyway a month later now it like everything i do she make like am going to attack her. she would say i can come by anytime i want, but when i do, i'm creeping her out. she said she met someone else and it was my flaut because i wanted to get marry and have kids. she don't and can't have any more, but i didn't want any of that. why lie? what going on? |

But then he reference to love again jokingly with my fellow classmates saying "look at how much I love you guys" but he didn't say it to anyone but me? He also told me about his fiances and how he made them rings but said they all cheated on him? He told me about his abusive mother too and his relationship with his brother. I'm not sure what his game is? He was also jokingly sad that I didn't offer him food. I told him don't be passive aggressive ask for what you want. He laughed. | Question: Dont know if im depressed or just dont care? Posted: 01 Oct 2015 11:17 AM PDT Hello. I have been having really bad time in school and my future looks really hopeless. The only thing i like to do is play one video game which i could make a living out of in the future but i highly doubt that would happen, my friends sometimes laugj at me when i tell them that i would hope i could make a living out of that game and thats why i practice to get better and i enjoy playing the game too. My friend(s) dont think that im a good player but a higher level player told me that i am good or above average atleast. The game seems like the only chance for me anymore. i do play the drums but i dont really play them in my spare-time which means i think im not really a good drummer either, my mother told me that she is disappointed in me (so am i). I even have a backup plan to kill myself if things go really bad in the future. Even if i did have a change to do things again i think i would mess it up again. Sometimes i just dont care at all. I m always happy and laugh around my friends but otherwise im not, the only thing that makes me really happy is my dog and some of my friend but not really that much.. I really dont know if im just a whining little ***** or depressed. |
