However, I just feel concerned sometimes that he is not being as much of a gentleman as id like for my guy to be when it comes to how he treats me. An example of this is when he comes to my apartment and the trash needs taken out. I will ask him to do the simple task of taking the trash to the dumpster on the way out and he will make a huge deal of this, typically not doing it or even calling me lazy loud enough for the neighbors to hear for asking him to do this simple task instead of taking it out myself. Tonight we went to the fair and he ran ahead of me in line to grab food leaving me waiting until they could prepare more for me. I just felt like that was not a gentlemanly thing for a guy to do to a girl he is dating and claims to love.
