Question: Can I get in trouble doing this? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 01:06 PM PDT My brother and his wife have been trying for 2 years to have a baby. They both had medical tests to see what the problem was. It turns out my brother has a very low sperm count. The doctors told them they had 1 in 500 chances that he could impregnate his wife. They checked out sperm banks and they were very expensive and it took a long time to finish the paper work. His wife now wants me to be a sperm donor. My brother agrees. They said it is simple, fast, and no costs, no one will know about it except the 3 of us and they will never tell anyone. I am would be happy to help them in their time of need but I am afraid I will have some unexpected trouble in the future if I do this. Should I consult a lawyer about this or am I worried for nothing. |
Question: Why are adults so brutally blunt to teenagers? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 12:53 PM PDT I'm so sick and tired of being told I don't know anything about the world. My dad said I'm dead to him when he found out I'm a lesbian and he disrespects my girlfriend. He said I better stay the hell away from him and don't talk to him again and he rudely pushed me and left. We haven't spoken in 5 months. My mom said, "Let your dad be and forget him. You're old enough to know that not everyone will respect your choice. Your dad made his choice and he has the right to his opinion. It's better than him sugarcoating his feelings and pretending he's okay with it. You're 16, almost 18, not a 5 year old little girl anymore. Your dad doesn't support your decision and at your age you're old enough to hear the cold truth. Plus we grew up in a different time. Some people don't have to support your decisions." I'm still a kid. I miss my father but I don't wanna talk to him because he was disrespectful towards my girlfriend and I. It hurts me that he won't talk to me anymore. I miss him. He had no right to be rude and not support my decision. |
Question: Can my friend do this? It sure seems wierd to me.? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 12:53 PM PDT I have a friend that has 4 deceased husbands. As she is getting older she is planning for her death. She wants to be buried by each of her deceased husbands. One plan is to be cremated and divide her ashes with 1/4 going to be buried next to each of her deceased husbands. The other plan is much more weird. It is to have her body cut in 4 pieces and have each piece buried next to a deceased husband. Can she really do that? |
Question: How should I tell my mom I want to be more independent? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 12:24 PM PDT I feel like I'm being held back from doing things on my own. My family still tells me I can't ride around the block by myself because it's "dangerous." I'm almost 14 years old and they still don't let me out of their sight. What can I do to prove to them I'm capable of taking care of myself? |
Question: Am I being to mean? ? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 12:09 PM PDT My aunts have everything easy! They call their mom and ask her money and ask to watch their kids because "they need a break" I work my hard and have never once asked for help. They like trying to compete with me as well. Lately they have been mad at me because I refused to babysit their kids. They are soo verbally abusive towards their mom (my grandma) |
Question: Why is my mom so weird about this? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 11:35 AM PDT Okay so I'm a teen girl and I don't like female underwear so I started buying men's boxers when my mother stopped undergarment shopping with me when I turned 15. Somehow my mom found out (I do my own laundry) and now she is being super weird and keeps asking if I am attracted to girls (I'm not) or if I feel like I am a boy (I don't) I tried to explain to her that I like wearing boxers more but she still thinks that I either want to be a boy or I'm a lesbian How can I get through to her? Why is it such a big deal? |
Question: How should I punish my 10-year-old daughter? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 10:36 AM PDT She called her 7-year-old brother yuck mouth just because he had 2 baby teeth pulled and she also decided to take air freshener and spray it around the house because she told him that his breath stunk up the house. He had that procedure some yesterday and I am pissed off at her. I lost my temper on her yesterday and called her ugly and told her that since she is mean to her brother that she will never be beautiful and that her brother is the better child. She made me mad by bullying him and she is too old to behave that way. I also told her that a good sister would take care of their brothers when they are feeling and not bother them. I want to either spank her or take her iPhone away for a week. Any advice? |
Posted: 05 Oct 2019 10:12 AM PDT I really missed out growing up on having cousins in my mother's family and we only have one cousin on my dad's side and he's 17 years older. |

Question: Should I tell my mom about this? Moms and others, your opinion please.? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 10:04 AM PDT My high school only had classes for a half day so my friend Ann invited me to join her and her dad for lunch. I said yes. I though we might go to Mc Donalds or maybe Sizzler. Was I surprised when we went to Ruth Chris. It was the best meal I think I ever had. Her dad said I look familiar to him and he ask me if we had met. I told him no. I would sure remember if I had ever met him. He said perhaps it is your mother I have met. What is her name? When I told him, he said I don't know anyone by that name. What was her maiden name. When I told him he had a big smile on his face. He said "I went to high school with your mom". She was the most beautiful girl in my high school class. Tell her Joe Jones (not his real name) says hello. What is she doing now? Thinking it might be fun to tell mom I had a dinner date with an old boyfriend of hers, I asked him if he ever dated my mom in high school. He smiled and said no, I asked her for a date a few times and she turned me down every time. What was my mom thinking turning down a date from a GREAT LOOKING GUY? My first thought was to tell mom about this lunch when I got home. After giving it more thought, I am not sure she would want to hear about it. Moms, please give me some advice on what I should do. Would you want to hear about my lunch date? I don't want to make my mom feel bad. |
Question: Why is my mom so mean?? ? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 09:24 AM PDT Dear Mother, WHY. THE FÚCK. DID YOU TAKE AWAY THE XBOX?? That console was my life, it was my heart, pumping gamer blood into my veins, and you just took it away. I'm going to live with father for the next two weeks or so to recover from this and I'll seriously consider calling CPS because of your heinous acts. How does it feel to ruin your child's dreams of being a twitch streamer? The old adage states "I'm not a gamer because I have no life, I'm a gamer because I have many", so WHY THE FÜCK do you think you can take away my lives? HOW DARE YOU! You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. So in conclusion, fúck you mom |
Question: Will my husband ever get over this? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 08:45 AM PDT I got laid off from my job and we could no longer make the mortgage payments. The lender was going to foreclose. Then I got a letter telling me my mortgage had been paid off. I thought it was a mistake so I went to the lender, and ask them about it. They told me my ex husband who was still on the mortgage had came in and paid off the mortgage. We had a friendly divorce but I NEVER expected this. I got the house in the divorce but I had to keep up the mortgage payments. I called my ex husband and ask him why he paid off the mortgage. He told me that since he was still on the mortgage, his credit was being harmed by my not making the mortgage payments. I promised him I would pay him back the money he used to payoff the mortgage. He told me I did NOT OWE him anything. There are not words to express how great it feels to not EVER have to worry about having a home to come home to. However, I had an unexpected problem. My current husband is very upset about the way things turned out. I told him it did not have ANYTHING to do with him. He should be happy that WE now have a free and clear home. I told him if it bothers him so much, he can pay back my ex husband the money he used to pay off the mortgage. He has not mentioned anything about this since. Do you think he will get over this and let us both get on with our lives with NO MORTGAGE PAYMENTS EVER. |
Question: Should I tell my parents I'm setting random objects on fire? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 08:14 AM PDT I am 13 and I really like burning things because I'm into disasters and people dying. I managed to sneak a lighter from the kitchen into my room, and every day when I come home from school I will go into my room and take any object (a small toy, piece of garbage, etc.) and set it partially on fire. I will imagine it is a building burning down with people screaming and dying and it being on the news. After I put out the fire by dipping the objects into a cup of water or pouring water on the object, I put them under my bed so that I can look at the burnt objects. I'm scared if my parents find out I'm doing this that they will get angry at me and punish me. I know how to be safe with fire and am very careful not to get hurt or set the building on fire (I live in Georgia where it is very humid and rains a lot so it would be hard to start a big fire here), I just like seeing scary/bad/horrific things happen. My parents do not know I'm this way and I don't know if I should tell them or not (I am afraid they will be extremely angry). Should I tell them or not? |
Question: I’m worried about mother’s breast? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 06:47 AM PDT I am a 16-year-old girl and I am worried about my mother. My mom is 41 years old and teaches Pilates. She originally wore a c-cup underwear. By the way, she changed it to a dc bra about a month ago and I saw she wearing a fc cup yesterday. This is the change in about four months. Is she sick? I'm worried. |
Question: My mom keeps hitting my little brother, how do I help him? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 05:13 AM PDT He's special ed, he can't help himself. I believe my mom is a narcissist or has borderline personality disorder or narcissitc personality disorder. He can't say no to what she says and she demands disgusting unreasonable thing. She talks to his girlfriend's mom and tries to make his girlfriend's mom hate my brother so they stop talking to him. They used to call his phone all the time and now they have stopped talking to him. She pokes fun at people and laughs when we cry. I heard her tell my little brother one time to eat her tampon if he doesn't throw them away. (she had a stroke in Sept of 2014 because she stopped taking her meds and kept blaming her sons for making her so stressed all the time) now she is using her stroke as an excuse to not be able to do anything and made me and my little brother do a lot of bad things..I took care of her and missed out on senior prom, having a girlfriend, having friends, having parents, grandparent relationships, everything. I'm angry but it's my fault too. I didn't stand up to her when I should have. My mom beats up my little brother and he is a special ed student.. How do I help him. Please..help me. He is all I have left.. I want him to continue school in college. Since high school was over he couldn't go to college. My mom keeps forcing him to stay. She keeps pressuring him that she will die and he gets scared so he tells his teachers he doesn't want to go to college or do anything fun.He looks so miserable. I feel like it's my fault |
Question: I’m studying, having pain.? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 03:24 AM PDT My parents keep forcing me to study all day in the weekend. They always scream at me for having bad grades and saying I'm stupid. My school is from 8:30AM until 4PM, I'm home at 4:45PM and then i have to study until 9PM.. I'm so tired the last weeks and I constantly have stress if I see my parents/hear my parents footsteps. I constantly have stress when getting a notification because I think it's a bad grade. I've been sick the last 4 days and my parents still force me to go to school and study until night. When my dad isn't home my mom sometimes makes me force to study until 11PM. I wake up at 7AM, keep clicking snooze until 7:30AM. Today is Saturday and i was at a shop. My mom is mad because I have to study. I have no freedom and I can't say what i want. It's Saturday, everyone is having a good time except me. I usually study on Sunday's but lately I have to study every day, every moment I have free. My mom also always gets me to study by lying, she says she bought delicious things. When i arrive i find out it was just a way to get me home to study. I'm dying: headaches, pain in my chest, throat,... I want some freedom, not study all day, hang around with friends, do what people do on my age. My mom is always mad if i sit on my PC. Instead of telling me to get of she calls me and when I arrive at her she's like "euhh euhh euuhhh" and thinks about something to get me of my PC for a while such as going for a walk. My mom also always forces me to study the wrong lessons. |
Question: Since my sister bullies me how would I bully her back? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 03:07 AM PDT |
Question: Question about picture my cousin sent? Posted: 04 Oct 2019 08:56 PM PDT my cousin who is 9 year old sent me this image from the smart fridge should I be conserned??? HELP?? |
Posted: 04 Oct 2019 08:49 PM PDT So currently as the situation is, my mother is refusing to speak with my dad and is using my younger sister to be the messenger to talk with one another. This is because they are financially struggling, and it's only because my 2 brothers are living off of my parents, and refuse to find jobs. Younger is 23 and my older is 28. My mom is an agreed-upon housewife and is upset and placing blame on my father for not being successful and why my brothers aren't working. To make it even worse, these 2 don't get along, so my dad put one of them in a second apartment to keep them away from each other. This is to prevent arguments in the house and to keep the peace. So my dad is paying rent on two places and my dad can't even afford it and is late every month paying for everything. I really wanna get angry with my brothers, but I think they might be too mentally-weak to sustain a job. My younger brother had bad experience with work and got yelled at by the bosses, and didn't have the mental toughness to keep on trying, and gave up on life. He never even talks. Has no passion for anything. Doesn't do anything fun. He's just existing. We tried getting him disability, but lawyers told us it's very hard to get disability when you're able-bodied and young. My older just doesn't do anything for himself. Doesn't shower. Doesn't maintain hygiene. Doesn't clean after himself. He's just a mess. I wanna help, but I'm saving up for a downpayment on a house. And I feel like I'm responsible. |
Question: Am I wrong for pointing this out? ? Posted: 04 Oct 2019 08:29 PM PDT We went through bad times and we almost divorced. We are in counseling right now. I noticed this behavior and I always did what he wanted in the past when I was confronted to it. Today I decided to point it out for him to understand that it is not normal. this is what he does. Whenever I'm in the room and I put something on tv that I am more interested in that he is may it be music or a movie, he will either find a way to leave the room, or try to make me feel uncomfortable until I change into something he likes or tolerates. For example I recently started watching this show river dale on Netflix he never watched it, but he already had assumptions about it and claims he does not like it. The show is not even the issue but it made me realize some toxic things he does. Even our son pointed that out the other day. When I put on something I liked he tried to find ways to leave the room. and when he did our 7 year old son said « wow so you don't like it so you leave. Don't be selfish. » that made him change his action at that moment. but today when I tried to put on something on tv he objected and says he will watch anything but river dale because he doesn't like it.even if he was asleep. he literally fell asleep in front of the tv. So I asked even if you're sleeping? He says he could still hear it. he got upset and left the room and says his behavior was not toxic. that I was exaggerating. was I wrong for pointing this out? We don't have to like the same things. |
Posted: 04 Oct 2019 07:59 PM PDT So, my brother and his wife to be are WONDERFUL people. I love them both dearly. But my other family members (specifically my mother, my sister and grandmother) are abusive people that I will unintentionally cause issues with at the wedding if I see them (and I WILL see them because they are going). Thing is, I haven't seen them in almost 8 years because I moved away and haven't looked back. I barely speak to them but when I do, it always ends of in a feud. I don't want to attend his wedding only for this drama to spill out on his special day. Asking me to avoid sitting next to them isn't going to help either as my family is VERY aggressive and they voice their opinions whether I like them too or not (meaning that they will start stuff with me if I attend whether I sit near them or not) which will affect my brother and his wife. So, you can see my dilemma. I want your opinion on ways I can either go or not go and still let my brother know that I am there for him during his special day. I should clarify this one point, it will NOT be me causing the drama. My mother, sister and grandmother are abusive people that we have had legitimate issues with concerning their drinking and drug habits that have caused harm to my niece and nephew. I can't be near them because they start stuff with me, especially when they start drinking. Its a huge problem |
Posted: 04 Oct 2019 07:43 PM PDT My Dad is one of those people that you never know if his words are sincere or just another lie. I am excited he told me he'd go see this relative with me in two weekends but my Dad is such a habitual liar that I am afraid to believe him. How do I not get my hopes up since he is likely lying again and how do I handle the sadness when I learn he is lying? |
Posted: 04 Oct 2019 06:47 PM PDT Okay, my 40th birthday is this Monday, October 7th. He asked me in April, what I wanted to do. It may sound corny but I love Halloween and amusement parks, so I said Fright Fest at Great Adventure. This was 7 months ago. Mean while, he is buying new boots, clothes, watches, jackets and spends copius amounts of money on himself, nothing for me. Thousands of dollars on random stuff and he couldn't put away 150 dollars for my birthday. I am not a selfish person, but I do everything for him, even with my last few dollars. He told me last night that he doesn't have the money to take me on Sunday. I am very hurt by it, but I won't let him know that. I just don't understand why it wasn't a priority to put money aside to do this for me. For 7 years, every birthday is the same.. He will bring things up for us to do and it is always cancelled at the last minute. But, I make sure I always do something for him for his birthday. This is a milestone birthday to me. My 30th was horrible because my dad just passed away and now my 40th, it's like I'm not important enough. I don't feel like I am overreacting or am I? Friends tell me that it's rude of him and he doesn't care about my feelings. If anyone could give me their point of view, I would appreciate it very much. |
Question: Is it typical for brothers and sisters to not hang out? Posted: 04 Oct 2019 06:40 PM PDT Let's say the brother is 29 and the sister is 31. Both of them get along well and love each other. They even have some things in common. But instead of hanging out with her brother, she hangs out with a close male friend from high school. The sister is happily married and has a son too. |
Posted: 04 Oct 2019 06:02 PM PDT My son's mother only lets me go to her home to see our son (we have no temporary orders but we will on the 15th). She has mad every effort to not allow me to have my son overnight because she is afraid I would not give him back. Her lawyer told her this was legal to do but I can't find it in the family code. Can someone help me out? Any reference material would be great :) |
