Question: I broke my friends computer and now she hates me? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 05:40 PM PDT so I was at my friend Lisas house and we were on her early 2008 iMac playing flash games and she beat me in a game and I got so bad I knocked the computer off the table and it fell over and smashed and now it doesn't turn on and she told me to pay for it and I refused and she blocked me mad not bad |
Question: I think I got myself into a bit of a sticky situation... any advice? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 05:39 PM PDT I feel like I've become a sort of therapist(?) for some of my friends. Thing is, I'm only 14 and I have no idea what I'm actually doing. One of them is suicidal and seemingly no longer trusts the rest of our friend group. I've tried to send him to professional help, but he doesn't like talking to the counselers and he says they don't help him. I'm, apparently, his lifeline. I've accepted that responsibility, but I'm not sure I can handle it for very long. And I really want him to be okay. I can't just abandon him, either. What do you suggest I do? |
Posted: 03 Sep 2019 05:30 PM PDT My best friend and I have birthdays that are one day apart and on our 17th bday we got matching nose piercings. Then, three months later my friend got a job where she couldn't wear her piercing anymore. She got really upset and said looking at my piercing would make her upset and not want to be around me and she was even pissed about it because she said every time she sees it it would make her think about how she couldn't have hers in. So, I basically had to not wear mine and we both wore clear retainers which made me kinda upset because I was not then wearing the piercing I got for no reason? Or is that a good reason? Should I have not been upset about it and just not worn it for her or is it her that is being weird and ridiculous by getting upset that I had mine still? |
Question: Is it OK to be sad ? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 05:16 PM PDT One of my friends lost they're 2 months old baby yesterday. He was a premature baby but I guess he was really sick he didn't make it. I was kind of upset when I found out she was one of my best friends from high school I haven't seen her in probably 8 years. My heart is broken for her and her husband who are going through this it's also they're first baby which makes it even more upsetting. Is it OK to be sad ? |
Question: Is Michigan to Chicago long distance? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 04:38 PM PDT Would you consider that long distance? |
Question: My roommate won’t let me sleep? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 02:22 PM PDT My roommate in my college dorm always finds ways of keeping me awake. She'll come in while I'm already asleep and has turned the lights on, the tv on, and started talking on the phone all at once before. Even during the day if I'm taking a nap she'll start being loud. I'm always quiet when she's asleep so idk why she wouldn't do the same |

Question: Does this seem tacky to you? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 01:48 PM PDT My mom really liked my ex husband John when we were married. He was always very nice to her and helped her with any problems she had such as home repairs, car repairs, etc. He even helped her after our divorce. John and I remained on friendly terms after our divorce. So it was not surprising that mom invited John to her birthday party. At the party John was very nice to me and everyone at the party. He told me I still looked great. John is a great looking guy. Some of the women at mom's party were openly flirting with John. That seems tacky to me. What do you think? Is it tacky to flirt with my ex husband in my presence? |

Question: I lost my best friend and I can’t get over it. Help? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 01:29 PM PDT Recently, my best friend decided he didn't want to be friends anymore. He never gave me a reason, even when I begged, so I'm lacking the closure I need to move on. I've tried speaking with friends and keeping myself busy with schoolwork and hobbies, but I can't seem to get past this and have cried almost every day since he basically told me to screw off. Can anyone give me some advice? |
Question: My friend doesn’t care about me anymore? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 12:07 PM PDT so last year my friend bella and i were close and stuff and all summer i've been looking forward to seeing her but this school year I saw her today finally and she was just rude she told me to go away and she'll report me if i don't and told me to leave her alone |
Question: Should I move out of living with my friend before she tries to kick me out? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 10:26 AM PDT Me and my close friend moved in together, its been 2 months of us living together and I m already done being her friend and I hate living with her. We keep arguing over her being dirty and she s in denial. I m not on the lease so she could kick me out at any second if she s wanted to. I pay my rent on time and she has this idea of me in her head to justify her delusions of not being nasty. Should I just try my best to move out before she tries anything or stick it out? |
Posted: 03 Sep 2019 09:53 AM PDT I've been stressing a little over this for the past 2 to 3 days trying to figure this out for myself but have been unable to so I am seeking outside help. I like to think I am a helpful person, I take pride and joy when others come to me for assistance or advice, whether it would be with work, helping someone fix their car/towing their car back with my truck, helping people move into their new house, etc. But lately it seems like people are asking me for help for the smallest things and I get increasingly annoyed. I guess what really set me off is I left my sunglasses in my company's truck and my co-workers, instead of calling around and asking who they were just kept them for themselves. What irritates me the most is that not that I lost the glasses, but they didn't make a single attempt at giving them back. I even talked to those in the truck and they all denied they had them. It seems that I get asked 5-10 times a day if I can do them favors such as taking their laundry out of the dryer, or if I can give them batteries because they don't want to buy their own, or if I can let them borrow uniform patches to which I will never see again. Am I in the wrong for getting annoyed at this or am I being over dramatic? |
Question: Can I tell him this about me? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 09:28 AM PDT Years ago I was assaulted / raped by my sisters ex. I blamed my self at the time and apologized for hurting her before I understood that I was sexually assaulted. My sis didn't blame me and we've since gotten closer. But at the time I had a thing with my sisters ex's best friend. He and I were sort of dating. But he found out what happened between my sister's ex and I, and of course my sister's ex didn't tell him the truth, so he believed him. When I asked him to meet to explain my side, he said he didn't feel comfortable seeing me. That hurt. Years later we both have moved on but I still want him to know the truth. Should I tell him? |

Question: Guy Advice! Is it a good thing that he always says hi first? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 08:12 AM PDT I think this guy I have a couple classes with is so cute! We're not really friends, but I've ran into him a couple times outside of class and I never have a chance to wave or say hi first because he does. Is this just him being friendly, or is it a sign that he might think I'm cute too?! I would make more excuses to talk to him if it could lead to more ;) ;) ;) :) ;) ;) |
Question: How to nicely ask my friend to stop contacting me so much? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 07:59 AM PDT I only known this guy for one month and EVERY DAY since day one he has contacted me on WhatsApp by either text message, voice recording message, or a video of himself saying "Hi", and our conversations never progress any further than "How are you" and "What are your plans today?" He even sends me random emoji's just out of the blue and often. He is truly getting on my nerves. Right now I am ghosting him because I don't want to talk to him, I need a break from him. But I know ignoring him is rude, but I don't know what to do. He knows I don't want a relationship with him, and he knows I do have other guy friends I chat with. How can I ask him for a break from contact without being rude or hurtful to him? |

Question: Why do i get bullied while she doesn't? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 04:43 AM PDT I'm good looking, intelligent and creative. I have many talents like poetry, public speaking and stuff. I've represented my school in many competitions.Im even the literary of my school. The teachers like me a lot and are always saying good thinks about me in the staff room. But I'm very unpopular among the students. I'm bullied and fun of.I don't have any friends. I'm a total loner. There is a girl in school who has mocked me several times. This girl is bad looking and untalented and doesn't participate in any competitions. She has a lot of friends. No one makes fun of her and no one talks behind her back.Everyone likes her. I don't know why are my peers so unfair to me. Why do they treat me so badly when there is nothing wrong with me? |
Question: Does it sound like he is playing games? or am I over-analyzing? 10 pts? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 04:06 AM PDT I have been chatting with a man from online that I have not met yet and I noticed that if he sends me a message and he does not hear back right away he will send another one a few days later to make sure I am okay. This gives me the feeling that he is impatient to hear from me so I will then respond and suddenly I wont hear from him for a few days. ...so it seems like he rushes me to respond to him but when I do he will take his time to message me. ..so it seems to be a weird game where he wants to make sure I message him in a certain timeframe but he does not extend the same courtesy to me. So the question is...am I over-anaylzing? or does it sound like he is playing some kind of game? will choose a best answer |
Question: Is he implying that im ugly? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 03:52 AM PDT I do get bullied and made fun of in school and life is very hard. I do talk to a friend about this. When i told him what I'm going through he says stuff like yes i woudnt judge a book by its cover, I woudnt make fun of someone because he doesn't look good,There will be bad people but there will also be good people who will look through the Facade and they won't just make fun of you and put you down. He hasnt ever directly called me ugly but it looks as though he perceives me as bad looking or ugly based off his conversations. But i think im good looking when i look at the mirror. I don't know if people bully me because they percieve me as ugly.I dont know if this friend of mine thinks that way. I dont know how other people percieve my appearance. But i dont think im ugly at all.But now I've got my doubts... Maybe I'm wrong about my appearance .... Maybe i could ugly to other people.... It really bothers me. |
Question: Was my roommate a narcissist? Posted: 03 Sep 2019 03:36 AM PDT Whenever we had girl talk, she d say weird things. One time she said she d never dye her hair because it s "beautiful brown hair". Another time she said she was "hoping to be a Victoria Secret Model, but she s too short". She also looked through my dresses and offered me one of hers to borrow for my audition.... One time I showed her an artsy thing I made and I asked her if she made one. She s like, "No I m not really into material things. I m mostly into making memories". One time I said I had to leave the room a lot cuz of work. She s like, "Oh I don t have a job because my parents have good jobs. I also got scholarships because I m smart...or at least my parents say that." I was talking about my acne/oily skin. She s like, "let me see." I was clearly uncomfortable and kinda squirmed. I was like, "errr nooo" She s like, "Don t worry. I won t judge....*examines my skin*..Oh you just have large pores. I have small ones. *She smiles and pats her face.* Also, my guy friend (who s also friends with her) said that she said she finds me intimidating....I don t get it. After my audition, she even asked me how it went. I was super nervous and still felt the adrenaline rush. I was breathing kinda heavily and said, "I was super nervous, but glad I did it." She s like, "I mean, you re not an A class actor, but for what you re trying to do, it was pretty good. You didn t need to worry." Also, she s a psych major..wtf |
Question: I know I was being mean to my former friend, but how was she mean to me? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:29 PM PDT One of my former friends wanted to take me out for my birthday. I decided to go although I didn't want to because every time I say no, she never takes no for an answer. She doesn't have discipline from her parents because they baby her too much. She has her own phone and TV in her bedroom. My parents don't want me to have a TV or phone in my bedroom. This former friend would call me 12 times a day. Although I would ignore her or tell her to stop calling, she still didn't get it! At school a few weeks ago, I didn't realize one of my classmates was eavesdropping when she overheard me tell one of my friends that I didn't want to go. I told my friend to let it go and let her take me out since she won't take no for an answer. This classmate went and repeated to her that I didn't want to go. She confronted me about it. Then my friend told her why I didn't want to go. My former friend confronted me and asked me why I didn't want to go. She even asked me why did I have to lie about it. I then got angry and said, "You're calling me a liar! I definitely don't want to go now!" She said she could tell that I didn't want to be friends with her anymore. A few days later, my friend told me that my former friend wanted me to call and apologize to her. Otherwise she would never talk to me again. I called and apologized. She said that she forgives me, but she'll never invite me out again. I was ok with that and she said she was really hurt. Was my former friend being mean? If so how? |
Question: Am I too emotionally distant?,? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:12 PM PDT So I just got back from a weekend trip to see my best friend (we partied a bit, it s her 18th bday) and I got home. I live with my mom still (I m 17) and shes tends to be more emotional but I was talking with her and I commented that I was annoyed with one of my friends and she asked if I got annoyed with her. Naturally, since I tend not to lie, I tell her yes she does and she started crying. I dont know what to do when shes crying so I got angry because it was over such a small comment. Am i just being too emotionally distant? |
Posted: 02 Sep 2019 10:55 PM PDT what should i do if i start to feel overwhelmed? lately's she's been feeling upset if i take a couple hours to respond and don't respond automatically. She's at the lowest place she's ever been because a man she was in love with hurt her very badly. But I hate to feel pressured to drop everything i'm doing and consistently text her. I've always done it so many times and i'm already losing out on sleep going to sleep at 2 am because I'm trying to juggle my marriage, texting and being there for my friends and supporting them, cooking, clean, working, doing my hobbies, working, and also in the midst of working on a book. I have a lot in my own life going on emotionally but I'm trying to be the strongg and self-less friend so I hardly ever vent to her. Any advice. if i take a couple hours to text back she will be like " I just won't vent to you anymore." And I was like " sorry, I was in the middle of cooking. Didn't want to burn anything." |
Question: 31 & obsessed with big jugs? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 09:06 PM PDT I'm Been obsessed with big jugs since middle School. I don't know any young skinny & pretty girls with big jugs. Can u help? |
Question: I’m a state in my life where I feel like I am just here and serving no purpose? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 08:48 PM PDT So first off I'm not a girl, I made a fake account just for this question so that my parents wouldn't find out lol. But anyway, I just started my first year of college. I'm commuting so I'm not really going through the whole "college party scene." I never had a ton of friends to begin with but my best friend and I got in a huge fight about a month ago over something dumb. We're not speaking anymore and the friendship is over. I can't say that I want our friendship back after everything, but it still hurts a lot.. we did everything together. My only other good friend went to a different college far away so he's not in my life much now. I would love to transfer to go with him but I don't have the grades for it and he's having a good time and doesn't want to transfer here, plus he's with his girlfriend there. My ex girlfriend and I don't get a long and we're off and on constantly. I love her but I know I should move on, I just haven't met anyone else. So that situation with her hurts me as well. Basically I have no friends, no girlfriend, and school stresses me out. I feel like I'm in a huge rut and have no point in living. I probably sound ridiculous but it's how I feel.. does anyone relate? Or have any advice? |
Question: Highschool junior advice? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 08:25 PM PDT I'm going into my junior year of highschool, and I'm terrified. I'm taking a few AP classes, which isn't something I can't handle because I've taken an AP before. The work isn't what I'm mostly worried about, it's the people. This Summer, a good handful of my friends turned against me suddenly and think I'm such a bad guy. There are a lot of unresolved issues and drama and I'm not sure what to expect. Becoming friends again is not an option because these people brought so much negativity into my life, so I'm happy they're gone. Some of these friends were very close and know a lot about me, I'm worried there will be rumors spread. What do I do if they're in my classes? I feel extremely uncomfortable just thinking about it, and these people are extreme attention hogs, I know they'll say something and I don't want my school year ruined. I don't want anything to get in the way of my school work because I worked so hard to get here. Help? |

Question: My friend kicked me out of his house and now he won't answer my calls. What should I do? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 06:54 PM PDT I was over my friend and somewhat bored. He was doing homework and I thought "hey maybe I could go distract him.". I know stupid but don't blame me. We usually touch each other in inappropriate places as a weird joke thing so that's what I did. I started touching his crotch and when I recognized he wasn't going to remove my hand, I stopped touching him. He gripped my hand and I guess get me to remove his pants so I had to tell him I was joking. He got angry at me and told me I was playing with his feeling and kicked me out. I tried calling to apologize but he won't answer. What should I do? |
