Question: I NEVER thought i'd be asking this, but HOW can I survive on $900/ month? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 09:20 PM PDT We've been through our life savings for my husband. We go to various specialists nearly every month. I've put off caring for my own health until he was more stable. We've survived, because together we make about $2,400/ month. He has SEVERAL diseases, including Parkinson's. So imagine my shock that I found that he's actually cheating and planning to leave me after I get my inheritance! This, after 32 years of marriage! OF COURSE i'm ready to toss him out, but how will I survive on $900/ month? (I was born with a birth defect, and it has been taking its toll, as it's degenerative, as well. Yet we've managed to handle life, because we had each other. We truly complete each other!) I can't believe it, but he's telling an ex girlfriend that he's still in love with her, wants to hold her, etc, so I NEED to cut my losses, to protect my future. Please know how SERIOUS this is to me. I don't feel comfortable discussing this with anyone I know, which is why i'm reaching out, hoping to get advice from people who have been there. |
Question: My husband said that he would divorce me? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:48 PM PDT My husband said he would divorce me if I don't want to be apart of the black Hebrew Israelites anymore. Is this reasonable what should I do? |
Question: I have a marriage question everyone and you can be honest and real with me? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:40 PM PDT My wife and I are newlyweds we've been married two and a half years I married her with two children a 21 year old boy with autism and an 11 year old daughter they're my stepchildren but they both still have contact with each of their fathers Britney's dad is on Facebook as well as Brandon dead so last night when my step-son made a post on Facebook with the outfit he was wearing my comment was looking good stepson my wife was away to the store and text me and said why did you post looking good stepson instead of just posting looking good you know there dads have contact with them and you're on Facebook you don't want to say anything that's going to upset them or disrespect them in any way we talked about this before so do you think that would be disrespecting Brandon's dad or Britney's dad by responding to their post on Facebook with stepson or stepdaughter and should I just keep it nonchalant without using stepson or stepdaughter was I wrong in my wife right or was my wife wrong and me right |

Question: Is this okay for my husband to say he doesn't have time for me but does gaming? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:15 PM PDT We are both gamers, so I understand him wanting to play with his friends etc. But after he's been playing for 8 hours, I asked if he wanted to watch a movie with me and he said no and that he just started playing a different game. I said okay, a little frustrated, but came back like two hours later and asked again. He said okay but it felt like he knew he had to now. After the movie he went straight back on his Xbox so I just played Xbox with my friends as well... Next morning (this morning) we woke up and he said "Today I'm just going to study and play Xbox. Nothing else so don't get annoyed or angry with me okay?". Is this the most bs thing you've heard today or is it just me? Feels like I have to force him to spend some time with me, and he chooses to spend his free time on Xbox instead of me pretty much every time. Not sure what to do about it. I got annoyed that he said that to me so I've just been staying in bed and have decided not to try to get him to spend time with me or talk with him for today since he already told me to basically not bother him and he doesn't have time for me. Don't worry, I'll be going out later to the gym and won't be in bed all day. But it's a little depressing isn't it? We're both in our 20's if anyone was curious. |

Question: How do you make your marriage last? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:31 PM PDT I waited a while to be with my girlfriend I know she's the one. She's my dream girl. I'm gonna have her meet my family soon, my friends too. I'm not gonna rush into marriage. But she's everything. Smart, committed, sexy, takes interest in me etc. I don't want us to fall out of love I want to maintain that spark. I can be myself around her. It's important to note my parents had a toxic relationship but my godparents have a strong marriage so I'd look to them for advice |
Question: Do you think my wife will divorce me? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:18 PM PDT I was smoking weed so I hang out with my female female and we laid in bed and she gave me a bj and it was like heaven and we made out. But I really love my wife. |
Question: Husband complementing women on social media? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 05:17 PM PDT My toddler recently ran in our bedroom with my husband's phone, when I took it from her it was open to a private message my husband had sent as a reaction to a Facebook story. The woman was someone he added on his Facebook and it said "beautiful". Upon closer loo she was not the only one and he has been doing it on Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram. His responses are usually short however this has been going on for months now. Obviously I y think it's right to be sending compliments out to women when you are in a relationship and to me it is disrespectful but am I overreacting? To be 100 percent honest these women are more attractive than I am but again I think it's out of line. He also sent a message to an old crush telling her how he felt about her then and how beautiful he still thinks she is. Other similar ones have also been sent out to other high school friends. |
Question: Husband refuses to eat leftovers? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 05:11 PM PDT My husband got a new job that requires him to work later hours. He's generally home by 8:00 or 8:30. At that point I'm usually getting the boys ready for bed. My husband has asked that I wait until he gets home at 8 or 8:30 to eat dinner. I don't eat that late and I feel like that's too late for the kids to be eating. I always leave him leftovers of whatever I cook. He told me he doesn't like leftovers and wants me to cook him a separate meal or cook him his dinner when he gets home. To me this is an unfair request as I already am trying to get the boys ready for bed. Any suggestions on what to do? |

Question: Why is my husband’s ex girlfriend attempting to slander my name? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:35 PM PDT I recently found out from my husband that his ex girlfriend of 12 years ago went to my mother-in-law's job (she works in a grocery store) and told her that I had been messaging her and didn't know what was wrong with me. I'm dumbfounded. I've never met her, much less messaged her. I sent her a friend request three years ago, but that was it. At the time, she made a huge ordeal of the request and took a screenshot of the request and sent it to my husband's messenger. My husband confronted me about it and we had a huge argument. That was weird in and of itself. I get friend requests everyday and I just delete them. I only sent her a request because my husband kept hinting we should be friends, that we would get along, so I sent it one day. I think what's going on is when she and my husband became friends on FB in 2015, her boyfriend had just died and maybe she was hoping my husband was single so she could do a rebound with him. I really don't know. At the time she ran into my MIL, this was two years later (after the request).Apparently she had married another guy and he had died as well. That's when she told my MIL said lies. I feel sorry for her misfortune, but don't know why she's attacking me. My MIL just told my husband a few months ago, but refuses to talk to me about it. Crazy stuff. |

Posted: 04 Jun 2019 02:57 PM PDT Etc from he was a little kid, can't throw them out. Can't let go of past and mistakes I made as father. Always thinking of past and crying. Ruined me with psych drugs, had to stop taking. Therapists dump me and don't help. Worried what will happen to my son when I die (soon hopefully). Have been a weak father. If I do die soon I could leave him a little $$$. Can't work and don't want to live too long to use up that $$$. I don't know where the question is here...maybe just wondering if this makes sense to ANYBODY out there? Physician assisted suicide not legal in my state. If I kill myself, how would it scar my son? Badly, i'm sure. What do I do? Just suffer and hope to die soon? I guess? |

Question: Can a custodial parent make the noncustodial parent sign over their rights? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:35 AM PDT My husband has a 2 year old daughter, and she is very attached to him. For the last year and a half, we've been visiting his daughter at her mother's residence. My husband and his ex wife verbally agreed to enter a custody arrangement that entailed us having his daughter on the weekends on multiple occasions. Recently, she stated that if he signs over his rights that she will then consider letting him have his daughter for a weekend. However, that sounds a little too good to be true. My fiancé does have a juvenile record. He was 17 messing around with a 15 year old (consensual, but she was under 16) and was adjudicated. He was sent to a rehabilitation facility where he received extensive counselling. She is trying to use this adjudication as grounds for supervised visitation. He is now 24 and has no convictions or trouble with the law. He works full time and is now happily married to me. His ex wife has a history of abusing my husband, both psychologically and physically, and we're worried that her behavior is detrimental to the child. When my husband and I leave from the visits with his daughter, she won't let go of him and she cries hysterically. His ex constantly disparages him on social media saying that his life is a joke and all he is is a sperm donor, but he's trying to be a part of her life and she is very attached to him. I guess my question is for those who have gone through the motions in court, how is her behavior going to look to a judge? |
Question: Do you recommend couples moving together before or after marriage? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:29 AM PDT I'm quite torn on getting an apartment with my boyfriend. I'm 25 and graduated Nursing school already. I've never moved away from home and I've been with my boyfriend for 1 year now and he's ready to move in together. The thought of us moving together excites me but I'm worried that our relationship will become stagnant and he feels we won't know our true selves until we try living together for a year. I've witness more couples living together and even having kids before getting married or not getting married at all I have yet to see a couple move in first and then get married afterwards. What are your thoughts? |
Question: Should I marry the love of my life even though he owes a lot of money in medical bills.? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:29 AM PDT Me and the love of my life are to get married soon. He s a great guy and he really knows me well and we get along great. My parents however really want me to think it over because he has a disease that causes him to go to the hospital every year to two years. Last time was really bad. He almost lost his life and when he got out he was hit with a whopping 95000 dollar medical bill. It gives me some anxiety that once we are married that bill is also my bill and now I m questioning rather or not I should go through with this. I ve never been all about money or had the belief that the man has to provide everything and I feel bad for even feeling this way. I just don t know what I should do. Help? |

Posted: 02 Jun 2019 07:00 AM PDT My boyfriend has been living in this location for almost 20 years. It is a dump building to begin with but I understand why he lives there the rent is super cheap and it's in a great location in a major city. However my boyfriend has really stopped caring about it because his attitude is 'I'm not living here for the rest of my life.' The place has gottten so bad that it's hard for me to sleep over. There is a huge roach problem. Where they are dead in the freezer, sometimes they crawl into my bag, and their dead bodies are everywhere. He doesn't own a vacuum and everything there is just dusty and disgusting. Yesterday I offered to clean for him so I would sleep over. He went into a whole discussion how cleaning is a waste of time and he didn't want me cleaning with his cat around. I don't understand. We've been talking about me moving back in and I told him I just want to give the place a good cleaning. He keeps saying no or I can't handle living there. I don't know what to do and I can't stand this mindset of him. He thinks I'm materialistic for waiting a clean place. He has no furtniture, I could really care less. But is this normal for someone to live in such unacceptable conditions? He grooms himself and showers at the gym. What should I do? |
