I am currently a housing association tenant, I have been dealing with some really serious anti social behaviour include racist abuse from a neighbour. I have tried everything to exchange and my housing are doing nothing to help me move away from this abuse I feel like I have to take drastic action to get away. I work full time and do not get any Benefits, before anybody asks I can not private rent as I can not afford it as rent is so high in my area. Anyway if I don't pay my rent and am evicted will I be re housed by the Council or because I work will they not help me? I only ask as I have seen multiple programmes where out of work people are rehoused when they are evicted for rent arrears Thank in advance

For background, bio-Dad's Jamaican and only sporadically in the picture. Shiny new stepfather is an old white dude. He's been trying to bond with me over Bob Marley, Reggae, Hip-Hop culture, etc. Thing is, I was mostly raised by my Grandma and then my Mom after she pulled herself together. I don't know anything about those things. I'm Nerdy and into country music...huge Neil deGrasse Tyson fan. Don't get me wrong, (step)Dad's awesome. of society, in my 60s, a divorced father on SSD living in ghetto section 8 housing, and it looks like I'm going to die this way, perceived as a failure, 'loser' and so on. My own son, who is only 18, can't even be proud of me as a father. Predictably, his mother has torn me down in front of him routinely. My own mother hated me as well when I was growing up. . So what chance did I have. Then when I was suffering because of the way I was brought up of course they started sending me to a psychiatrist who put me on drugs and that that was the end of me. Isn't that what they always do? They helped my successful sister, but not me. How can a father not want to help his own son? So what chance did I have in this life? I'm just waiting to die now, basically. Having not lived a life worth anything. Did anybody out there, any men out there, have this experience? Not being valued and being unable to overcome that? And then becoming a father, losing a marriage, and having to see your own son suffer as well?

I'm 24, female, and I seem to have this thing called 'daddy issues'. I fantasize about older men, 35-50 ish, caring about me. Not in any way sexual, I tried that once and it was repulsive. It's just, I think about for example me being hurt at soccer practise, and my coach (who is a dad and 40 yrs old) comforting me. Like I'm his daughter. Or that he comforts me by say hugging when I have a depression fallback. Now, what I read was, that it was because I want that kind of "love" and "care", but my own dad can't provide that, and that's why I fantasise about it. My dad indeed doesn't understand my (former?) depression, and if I have pain somewhere, he just brushes it off as "not that bad" and that I shouldn't complain. So, I guess it's normal that I want to have what I think about with other men. It's just, should I feel ashamed when I think it? Should I try to stop those ideas, or should I just let it be, since it's not sexual and it's not hurting anyone, and it gives me a good feeling. (except when I start to doubt whether it's okay to think like that).

Hi everyone so I am not sure if I am overreacting, but I have met my dad's girlfriend and she seems nice in person, However when she takes pictures of all of us when we get together she posts them on Facebook and I am never in them, but my grandma, her daughter, and my dad are in them. I also sent her a friend request and saw her talking to my aunt on there. She didn't accept the request. Her attitude gets me too like how she posts images and lectures about her engagement ring and how she can't wait to marry my dad. I know I am terrible for feeling this way. I want my dad to be happy with her but at the same time I want nothing to do with her or have her in my life. I miss my dad's old girlfriend. We keep in touch and she has always been cool. My dad never treated her as well as this woman though.

So Lately my mother is Acting like If she was my grandma... So short thing ( my grandma died in 2016) So the thing is that my mother I notice she has thing attachement with my grandma house, she was gonna sold it but she didn't do the other days we move from the State we were to this Other State( not saying where) so things has gone worst she is Starting to sleep like my grandma, do things my grandma would do, and this has been most since my grandma died. I envy my cousins because they have better life than me. They are not rich though but they have lots of friends and fun which I don't. I'm an assistant manager at a fast food place. I've been there for a few years and also got my sister a job there awhile back. I recently got my brother a job there as well. Since he's new and my boss just got his paperwork, he hasn't been added to the schedule yet, but my boss allowed him to come in on a couple of my shifts to train. He should be on the schedule next week, but this week he was only told to come in on one day. My dad asked him when he was supposed to work and my brother told him he didn't really know because he hadn't been put on the schedule yet. My dad got all mad and acted like he wasn't working because he was being lazy and not asking to work. Then he tried to drag me into it and told my brother that I should have messaged my boss to figure out when he could work. He basically turned it around on me like it was my responsibility to ask when he works and figure all this stuff out for him. I'm literally the one that asked my boss if he could work there, got him an application, turned it in for him, told him to go up there to talk to my boss and asked what days he could come in. My brother hasn't had to do a single thing and my dad wants to get mad at me? Am I mad for nothing?

Question: Would you agree that fixing ba broken/damaged friendship would take effort from both parties involved instead of just one person trying?

Her school teacher tells kids that everything must be fair and over-uses the word too much. School is still in session for two more weeks. As a result, my daughter refuses to follow house rules if she thinks "it's unfair". For instance, she doesn't want to watch her 5 year old sister for a short while because her little sister won't ever have to watch a younger sibling. So I'm 14 years old and I like to go to a local pool to swim in the summer, I recently graduated 8th grade so I'm out earlier than everyone else. Last time I went I got out and went to the locker room to shower and change. I shower there naked as it's usually not busy. Well I got out of the shower room and walked naked to my locker. I'm 22 years old and I'm struggling to make it through life. I just don't know my purpose. I'm working and am in my first year of my masters program. I live on my own and I don't have any children. I'm just not happy at all. My mom and grandma treat me as if I'm their mother. My siblings are all under 15 and they look to me for guidance because my mom is never there for them. I just feel like I am on my own. I recently got sued for a medical bill from when I was 18 and had no insurance. So, my Dad comes often to visit us. My Mom and him are divorced, but they maintain an excellent relationship. We have a half-sister, and she is four. Recently every time my Dad comes over, he is starting to bring her over. While I appreciate him doing this, I really would like him to separate time spent and not bring her over, so he can just spend time with my Brother and I. I am 18, and I really just want to spend quality time with him. I would rather he see her on a different day without us having to share time. My dad has been seeing us now like twice a month now for over a year after being in rehab for two years, and previously being in a relationship that made it very hard for us to see him, which lasted for about give years. Is it normal for me to have these thoughts? I feel somewhat bad for thinking this, yet I feel so strongly.
