Question: Why don’t people ask if they can hold my baby? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 12:10 PM PST My sister and sister in law do it the most . When I see them they take the car seat and then my baby and hold her the whole time and pass her around . I just wish they would ask us before ? Sometimes people hand her to my sister in law when she's fussy and not me ?? I am her mother . I am afraid to ask for her sometimes bc I don't want to make my sister in law mad but if it were her kid she'd want me to ask right ? How do I get them to ask to hold ? |
Question: My uncle always yells at me when I help him out with work? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 09:37 AM PST After the tragic lose of my cousin, I ve been helping out his dad (my uncle) at work who has provided me opportunities of work experience. I try to be there for my auntie uncle as much as possible because they ve been through so much. To get the story clear, my uncle is a freelance cameraman who films plays and weddings for his clients. I often help him out when he really needs it. I m not a professional nor I have great knowledge of things when helping out my uncle which means I get confused on a lot of things that he may find ridiculous. To make this clear, I have autism which means I have never been confident as everyone else especially when doing things I m not familiar of. There have been many moments when the plays have finished and we re packing up my uncle s equipment, he becomes very aggressive and pushy towards me which I have always felt useless. My uncle has always been a nice guy but he s different every time I am put in a room with him. During my last filming session with my uncle at the pavillion, we were packing up our cameras and tripods. He complained many times about me causing hazards in the past so I tried to avoid confrontation with him but that only made things worse and he yelled at me right up to my face for a minute all because I was waiting for the audience to clear away. I never seen my uncle so angry in my life, but the way he treated me that day is an injustice and I have cried about it for days. |
Question: We're friends but I'm still attracted to him? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 09:36 AM PST I left him behind and thought we were done. Throughout the year he has reached out to me and some of his messages I ignored. The other's I took a long time to respond to and wasn't very nice when I did. Every time he saw me in public he'd try hard to get my attention and I'd always catch him staring at me when he thought I wasn't looking. After fighting it I gave in to him and we slept together on the exact date a year ago that we last slept together. We text each other sparingly since then. I asked to see him again and he agreed. Then he very rudely cancelled on me at the last minute. I was very upset. Why would he chase me for a whole year and then dismiss me like that. He has other options for sex so why would he chase me for a whole year to only reject me again? However, I feel we still connect and can be good friends. Should I try to be his friend? |

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 08:32 AM PST Hi i am a 15 year old male and months ago my sisters boyfriend when she was on her own. he killed himself and my sister found him. couple months ago she decided to move in with us. at first i thought it be okay because i thought she would get a job and stuff. months later no job no car or license, and all she does is watch tv and watches the same 3 to 4 shows. if you think im critisizing a adult because shes deciding to be lazy when im still a kid. listen to this, i have a job, i want my license, my mom thought about giving me her old car. i also dont stay at home all day aswell. point is it annoys me. if i was her age i dont think i could watch tv for more than 5 minutes. because i would have so much to do. and our place is small. we have 2 bedrooms. mine and my parents bedroom. my sister sleeps on the couch. and she also mean to me constantly because i make arguements that are correct, but she keeps saying i dont understand. and my parents wont listen when i say she should leave. i get what she went through but she still needs a life. and its really ******* sad when a 15 year old does more thing in his life than his own 26 year old sister. any advice i appreciate. |
Question: My parents think it's still too early to put Christmas decorations up? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 05:22 AM PST My parents think it's too early to put Christmas decorations up, and would rather wait until the 18th - one week before Christmas. They visited my apartment yesterday, and found my entire apartment decorated head to toe in Christmas decorations. They started to judge me, by saying "It's FAR too early to put Christmas decorations up." They then tried to make me take my decorations down, but I refused. Is it too early? |

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 01:39 AM PST I work on the east coast and my family is in the west coast. I think it is best to quit and no give time of notice as i want to stay and help my mom during this time. I have more siblings but they seem unwillingly and have not offer yet to help mom with the last arrangements she needs to make. My little sister can help with the language barrier but she has a 2 year old and I know at time the baby gets very difficult. We are also taking my dad to Mexico as he wished and I want to be present when we do this. I have already been gone for 2 weeks from work, and I will likely be here another 2 to 3 weeks. My boss is annoyed that I am spending so much time with my family but I have worked remotely. Also, my family is my priority. He has not fire me yet, but I think it is best for me to quit. Please help |

Posted: 02 Dec 2018 08:43 PM PST Her parents don't even know as they were estranged at the time cause her father was alcoholic (he died a few years ago). No one knows but me and her brother, no one. The baby was placed up for adoption. Cousin said it was okay for me to ask on here as long as I mark anonymous. UPDATE: This was the episode to a TV show, did not really happen, I asked curious what others would say. No cousin of mine had a baby, just a TV show. |
Posted: 02 Dec 2018 08:32 PM PST Saturday while my stepmom was shopping, I fell down while skating and broke my ankle. My dad got me mad at me because he wanted to watch sec championship game he said I can't watch championship game because my daughter is an idiot. While we was at the hospital he turned off his phone because he was watching the game. I left my phone in his car. While my dad was getting my prescription. I called my stepmom becasue noticed missed calls from my stepmom. She was really worried about us she was very upset that my dad didn't tell her that I was in the hospital . Then then my dad got mad at me being honest with my stepmom and grounded me he said the whole thing was my fault cuz I'm idiot for calling my stepmom back. They got in a huge argument when we get home and I feel like I feel awful about it I feel like it's all my fault. |
Posted: 02 Dec 2018 08:14 PM PST My parents are divorced and divorced when I was 9. I am now 16 and my mother still insults my Dad all the time to me and tells me thinks like "if he really loved his children he wouldn't do" and then state numerous different things. She does all she can to ban me from seeing him on holidays though with the backing of the court she sometimes loses. I dread Christmas each year cause of how she will use us. |

Question: Parents won't let me get a different job? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 07:51 PM PST I'm 17. I'm currently working in a 7-11 for $11 an hour and around 16 hours a week. Another place my friend works at is hiring, looking to pay around $18 and 20+ hours a week. I almost jumped on the opportunity, but my parents won't let me. They just say I'm not allowed to get the job and refuse to elaborate. I ask why and they just say because they said so, end of story. How do I get them to explain their reasoning, and how can I get them to let me take the job? |

Question: How old is too old for someone to live with their parents? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 06:35 PM PST I took a full-time job after high school and put most of my paychecks into savings for college. I'm 23 right now and want to get a bachelor's degree in accounting, but would like to live at home as I go to minimize my student debt. But I won't graduate until I'm 27...is that too long to stay at home? |
Posted: 02 Dec 2018 06:32 PM PST My friend's grandson is 9. His mother is an addict and left him at a resort with strangers and never came back to get him. He was put in foster care but my friend fought hard and her son (the kid's father) got full custody. Now the mother sent them to court this past week and the judge ordered that the 9 yr old go to mother's house EVERY weekend unsupervised. The drug addict has two older sons. One is violent and tried to chock the 9 yr old before. The oldest brother is in his early 20's and raped the 9 yr old as a baby. The 9 yr old was an infant so he does not remember. I am so worried and my friend is stressed. In court the judge would not hear the father's side and sided with the mother. Should we "take her out"? |
Question: Am I always being lied to? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 05:58 PM PST They text me non-stop, take me out constantly, buy me nice things. But usually ends in 2 months or. I do have a fighting personality kind of, but they usually come back constantly after every fight but eventually they end up leaving. How come they stick out out initially then leave. This makes me think if they were so crazy about me how could they leave. They also know I'm a virgin and waiting until marriage and i make sure they know it so they don't waste my or their time, so it makes me question when they leave if they truly were really into me or trying to see if they could sleep with me? For future reference, is there a way to discern? My one boyfriend cried for me once when i was breaking up with him, constnatly made up unti lhe didn't. The other one bough tme really nice gifts, made me soup when i was sick, beautiful flowers, nice restaurants. Are the never really into me? |
Question: Why did she say that? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 05:54 PM PST A dad bought a diamond necklace for his daughter and daughter said she'll give half of money. why did she say that? |
Question: My [41M] son [12M] is so quiet around extended family. How can I help him open up more? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 04:17 PM PST My son is very talkative around his immediate family. He's very talkative with his siblings, me and his mother, and a few cousins he sees often. However, when he visits his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other cousins he is so quiet. They ask him "Why are you so quiet? Are you always this quiet?" He shrugs his shoulders and says no. It is an embarrassment for me. They want to get to know him better, but he won't open up. As much as he's talkative around his immediate family, I would like for him to do the same with his extended family. How can I help my son open up around his family more? |
Question: Why did my mum ruin my wedding party? How not to hate her? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 04:00 PM PST I planned my wedding for a year and she watched me struggle with all the different things. My wedding dress didn't fit and I had to starve myself into it. I had so much stress and nearly cancelled the day at one point and my mum insisted I go through with it! She then put on a huge performance at my wedding party pretending to have an asthma attack (something she's never EVER had before) and it absolutely ruined my special day. Everyone crowded around her for over an hour and a half and made a huge fuss of her and she was sat there laughing at the end of it. Everyone kept saying oh my GOD is your mum ok to me and telling me to stop socialising and be with her, she was completely ignoring me and so I had to literally stand there in my wedding dress whilst she joked with other family members. All I've heard since my wedding is how's your mum and people messaged me the next day asking about her and didn't even mention the details of my wedding I went to so much effort in! My mum has never ever apologised to me since which has made me believe it wasn't at all genuine and now I just feel I don't like her at all! She keeps messaging me trying to be nice (something she would never do before) and I just never reply. Why did she do this to me? |
Question: My dad is a bad mean man. How do I stop respecting him? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 03:53 PM PST He does not deserve my respect. |
