I have seen her stand straight in front of me and do it when she's really close and thinks I'm unaware, not once but multiple times. I'm 13 but look a lot older and she's 16, I'm 5'10. Crossing paths in the halls if we lock eyes her eyes dart away and she avoids looking in my eyes. |

About a year and a half ago we were dating, suddenly we just stopped, no reason whatsoever. Anyways, after that he ignored me for 364 days (he talked to me ONE DAY last year). The next time we talked was in January of this year. We've been friends again for about month or so now. I think he still likes me because he shows me a lot of signs, like always smiling around me, stopped reading books to talk to me, opening up to me more, enjoys conversations with me, is actually texting me, has longer conversations with me, waits to see me during the day, makes sure to say 'hi' or wave whenever he sees me, wants to spend as much time with me as he can, jokes around with me, says my name more, talks with me about stuff that only we know, shares things he likes with me, is being more open, texts me a lot, talks to me and only me in a large crowd, stands close to me, wants to cheer me up and does things to do so. Today he tossed my ID card at me because mine was the only one still up there and theta lunch he showed me a bunch of funny memes (to see me laugh). He let me have his phone, just to scroll through the memes. Eventually, he was standing over me and telling me which was to scroll, sometimes doing it for me. Our hands brushed together over three times, and he knew it. I'm pretty sure he likes me, but I'm waiting for him to make a move because he's more of a traditional guy. Can someone please help (preferably guys) to see if he likes me Also, a few years back we were best friends, now we're friends, but I think he is trying to get back to the point of best friends. |

He kept demanding that I say he was right and I wouldn't. I don't think it's right for my opinion to just be shut down like that. We're going to Florida next month they said shark attacks don't usually happen in Florida but two kids got attacked half a mile apart on the beach with in 2 minutes. They always say they're extremely rare but they always happen. She's been afraid of sharks since she watched Jaws. She knows there's a shark down there called the spinner shark that jumps out of the water that kind of scared her when she heard that she said if she goes swimming she's going in the hotels pool or her cousins pool she's staying out of the ocean. How can I help her get over this fear ? |

We have been together for 5 yrs. I became distant from him because he said some hurtful things to me last year and just told me to get over it. Well I decided to try to repair us. I would spill my feelings out to him, how much I loved him, bought him an expensive Valentines gift with nothing in return which was fine with me. I would send him good night/morning txts, and he would text back right away or even call me. He would flirt with me when he sexually wanted me. But he would never tell me I love you back or tell me anything sweet. He started going out getting drunk with his friend a couple nights a week, and trying to act "cool" I was fed up so last week I asked him about our relationship a couple times and he would say i dont want to talk about it right now or I am busy. When I asked why he would get angry and tell me I am nuts. Finally a couple days ago he finally talked to me about it but was very angry and said he didn't want to be in a relationship right now he wanted to get a better job and relationships are hard work. He told me he still loves me and would be with me when he is ready. I got mad and told him he is narcissitic.. Now I am getting the silent treatment, so I am ignoring him too. Do my own thing. True love gets through ups and downs he just poured 5 yrs worth of memories down the drain. What do you think any advice |

Posted: 08 Mar 2018 06:24 PM PST quick backstory: last year in my spanish class, i met this girl (i'll call her k). when i met her, i was pretty shy, and she seemed shy too, so i wanted to befriend her so we could both have someone to bond with. we ended up working together for some partner work a few times, and i tried getting to know her better, but i soon realized that it was basically a one-sided attempt, and i stopped trying so hard, and we eventually drifted apart. now to this year. i started talking with her again because i was getting anonymously cyberbullied, and they brought up how my friends wouldn't care if i killed myself, and they mentioned k. i went to the movies with k and some other friends, and also began talking to her about stuff that upset me, and soon realized that we dealt with a lot of similar problems. so we bonded. she told me that last year she had really wanted to be my friend, but didn't try too much as she didn't want to look clingy, and she got super upset when i stopped trying. i soon realized that the attraction i had to her was not only aesthetically (she's super pretty), but also from a personal pov. she's extremely caring and funny and i love every single aspect of her! i imagine us doing cute couple things a lot as well. however, i don't think she'd be very comfortable with a relationship, so i don't want one. does this attraction count as romantic or platonic? can someone help me get over this as well? i don't want to ruin our friendship over this. |

He does this everyday to me, gets up and stares at me to. He's always staring at me for long periods of time, whenever i look at him he's talking to his guys friends about something and then looks at me to see if i'm looking. Then when it's time to leave class and line up he always lines up behind me sometimes just staring at me. Every time he stares at me he never looks away when i glare back at him, he just keeps staring at my face even when I look away. |

He told me to surprise him and stuff take control.. so I was in my Calvin thong, I tied myself up, blind folded myself and put his favorite candy on my body from my mouth to my lady area. He picked the sour patch off my body with his fingers and DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH ME OR ANYTHING. He just ignored the fact that I was there naked and talked to me about something different. The next Day he apologized "if I made you feel embarrassed I just have no energy" we are very mushy like kissing, hugging and cuddling. Today, I was like I'm going to talk dirty while he's at work and I said babe I want to try new positions! He said oh yeah? I said yes try something new and different. We've argued before about him wanting to spend more time with his friends than me. I have weekends off and he never has so we only have gotten to hang out at night forever. Well he just started a new job and he has Sundays off now. So last Sunday he hung out with me all day but then tells me this Sunday he's hanging with a friend who he hasn't seen in a long time. I said fine because I know he actually hasn't seen him. So tonight he was supposed to come over as he has tomorrow off, but he says he's sleepy. Mind you he lives 15 minutes away. So again I said fine because he does work a pretty long 12 hour day as a mechanic. I said you can come over Saturday before you see Kenny on Sunday and he said maybe I'm supposed to go to wills (another friend) for the last bonfire before he works Saturday nights. And so I got annoyed and said cool and he said we can cuddle after. I said what at 1am? And he said "no I probably won't make it that long lol". So I get to see him come over and fall asleep? Cool. I'm trying to be patient. I was okay as I can be with seeing him only Sundays and one night during the week....But I'm not going to let him spend every Sunday with his friends when it's our only day off together. Should I just forget about this weekend and not get mad YET?? |

He drinks to numb his pain, has terrible PTSD and ADHD, and he just got divorced. Now after 10 months, he had started saying critical things to me -- this was throughout the relationship but it only got worse. So I finally broke up with him, and then he turned it around somehow and broke up with me! I have been a total mess, crying all the time. Everyone I know has been telling me how bad this guy is for me, that I deserve better. How do you move on after loving someone like this? Someone that is addicted to alcohol? Someone that is wonderful one minute and awesome -- we had really great times together especially in the beginning. And then, he says terrible critical things to you. Now, all I can think is that all of our time together was a lie. That he used me. Anyone have similar experiences? He said he wants to focus on school and his business. And, that I was not his number one priority. He also said he doesn't want to be "accountable" for anything anymore. |

It started off holding hands the a little kissing, cuddling etc. Like I said were in the same friends circle so don't have a lot of alone time because he doesn't live here. We've come close to taking it all the way one but I stopped it because we were both extremely drunk. I told him I don't do the drunken one night stands he said that wasn't a bad thing and I could stay if I wanted. He's always sitting with me and has a tendency to sit between me and at her single guys we know. I catch him starting at me a lot and he'll move to sit next to me. He's just now starting to touch me more openingly infront of our friends, hand on my back, sitting next to me. He doesn't speak to me or touch me inappropriately other then one slap on the *** but..... we did just when a game we were on a team playing. I don't want to invest my time if it's just a one night thing. We had a little time alone last time we were together all we did was cuddle he didn't try to feel me up or anything. Like a cliche, I started to have feelings for him but I wasn't sure that they were returned. He moved away like 7th grade year. Before he moved, he dated my best friend and kinda flaunted the relationship directly to me. Not sure why. But after he left, my feelings for him didn't really change. He came back into my life second semester of my freshmen year. He asked me to ask out one of my best friends for him, and then tried to ask out my other friend. Finally he attempted to get me to go out with him. It was kinda cute, he was really shy about it andtrird two different ways before directly asking me. I said no, so I could focus on my studies. I didn't exactly tell him I liked him, cause I'm too shy to do that, but I think he knew. After that he kept putting his arm around me, walking me to classes, and even got me a really nice birthday present. He moved again, but told me he would come back senior year and ask me out again. He doesn't have my phone number, but he has my friends and keeps texting her asking about me and stuff. I'm not sure how to feel. Is it wrong I feel a little mad that I seemed to be third pick? Does he actually like me or is he just playing some kind of game. I'm super shy and don't have much confidence so I'm not sure how to approach situations like these. I really need some help. |

Like if I like someone I don't know how to read social cues or approach her. I've had crushes. But like I've been lifting weights lately. I'm trying to get a better body will that help my confidence? Cause sadly I'm also balding. I just don't know how to get past the nerves or what to do with a girl. I'm so afraid I'm never going to learn this crap and be alone. |

It makes me very uncomfortable, and any time I bring her up when I notice she messaged him (I don't read the messages between them) he says "Why don't you forget about it... etc etc".. My best friend goes there so they thought it would be good for me to already have a friend once I attended the school. Well, we toured the school and we peeped in a few classrooms and stuff, my friend and I hugged seeing each other, but then, the strangest thing happened. I am a sixth grader and I look like a 5th grader but I'm not and this one high school guy (who was cute tbh) closed the door to the classroom cuz the teacher told him to, and he said, "Excuse me, I need to close this door." to my parents and the tour guide, then we met eye contact and he WINKED at me, wut does this mean? |

We haven't seen each other in 8 years because I moved out with my mom. We chat a lot and ask some fun, interesting, and also informative questions, but we don't always text. We share some things about ourselves. She never texts out of the blue when I'm not around. She is pretty active on Instagram and perhaps Snapchat? I don't have her on either social platform. She has a Facebook but hasn't used it since late November. Her cover photo shows her with another man which she also hasn't changed, but she still isn't on Facebook, only like once or twice a year. Her relationship status isn't mentioned at all. She often plays golf and I don't really play any sports We are both in high school and were childhood friends.
