We started to hang out outside of work but she's always busy. She's the type of person who doesn't pick up her phone because she doesn't have it with her or its on silent. I've noticed that we always make plans and she always blows me off and we either end up meeting hecka late or not at all. The other day we made a plan to go to lunch and I said I would pick her up at 12 and I waited for her to text me that she's ready and she doesn't text until 1 and she told me he got caught up with family which is understandable but she does this so much. Today we were suppose to go study together at 2 and I told her to text me when she's ready and she doesn't and its 3 so I text her asking her if she's ready and she told me she's out with her cousins. It's already 5 so I don't even think we'll hang out today but I just dont get it. Why not stick to plans |

Her best friend just turned 18 and she is a senior in the high school building. Recently, my daughter came home and told me that there was a teacher who was being mean and got her in trouble for no apparent reason. They didn't tell her why they was upset at her, so me and her dad had a meeting with her school. They told us that my daughter should not be allowed to hang out with kids who are five years older than her, so they sent her somewhere else when they saw my daughter with her friend. The school told us that they've had plenty of kids hanging out with the older teens and it sometimes results to bullying, teasing, and drama. We're upset that our daughter won't be allowed to hang out with her older friend within school grounds anymore. The last time we checke, the school board does not have any rules saying that children are not allowed to mingle with anyone older. Her friend is welcome to hang out at our house after school or go to the movies with her. As parents, we don't believe that people should try to choose friends for our children. My daughter doesn't even know that we had a meeting with the teacher and I don't think the teachers told her at all. The teachers are trying their best to keep them apart at school - but they still hang out a lot after school, on social media sites, and on the weekends. No, there was no bullying involved. However, the teacher thinks that different age groups need to be separated unless they're siblings because the older kids have an "unfair advantage". Also that a late tween and an 18 year old may feel uncomfortable socializing with each other. |

We don't really mind it too much, except some of the little things she does. When my best friend isn't at school for some reason, they don't sit with me and my other friend, and when by best friend is there, she sit in the spots me and my other friend usually sit in, just to sit closer to her. I know it's kind of immature that I'm mad about her sitting in my "spot" but now I can't really sit by my friend anymore because she is always there. Maybe it's a coincidence, but she's started to dress in the same style and exactly like my best friend, she even bought the same shirt after my best friend wore it. Posted: 05 Apr 2017 03:13 PM PDT So I'm a freshman in college, and I switched dorms after first semester because I switched majors and now my major is on a different campus. Anyways, I was living alone in this dorm room for 2 weeks before another girl was put with me. She's super sweet and friendly, we're just different in our beliefs, values, and personality. She likes to drink and party (not very often, but still), and she's a little messy (I'm pretty neat). For example, she'll leave her coffee mug half full on the bathroom sink all day, or leave barely eaten fresh food out. In our roommate agreement contract I specifically told her that I like quiet when I study and do homework at my desk, and sometimes she'll take a facetime call with her friend without earbuds in the room while I'm studying, and that's super annoying. I'm increasingly being annoyed by just the little things though, like now she's sort of sick and has a cough, and she likes to stay up until 3 am (why, though?) watching netflix or whatever and every time she coughs I wake up. This is extremely frustrating. Even when she just makes the smallest amount of noise I just feel angry. I've never lived in the same room with someone before, so maybe that's my problem, I'm just not sure. |

"FREE ANIMALS!!" so we said "go away" and she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the freedom PETA lady singer and she said "Support animals" and my parents came and grabbed me away and said "I'm calling the police" and the PETA flyer lady hit me really hard so we ran into the circus and now im scared |

I've had a weird on/off "thing" for her for a lot of this time, but it wasn't "love". Long story short, about a year ago, I decided to stop trying so hard to impress someone who I didn't know well enough and start trying to love myself. For context, over the past half-year we've gotten much, much closer, and I've realised what kind of a person she really is. I'm different and she's different. We talk about everything. I don't mind if she doesn't feel the same way; I just want us to stay in each other's lives and to make her happy. Recently she gave me a late birthday present. In addition to the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received, she wrote me a really sweet letter, in which among a lot of other things she thanked me for being such a good friend. To me, it was a reassurance of how close she saw us as. Because of this, I finally feel like I should fess up to her about how I feel. Not because I expect anything to come out of it, but because I believe that by hiding something like this I'm abusing the level of trust on which this friendship is based. I've considered the possibility that this may be a turning point in our relationship, and perhaps things might go sour, but I think that things are only awkward if we make it out to be awkward and I trust her enough that it won't probably happen. I really don't want to lose such an important person in my life though. |

He's wearing shorts he's been drinking water he's even has ice cream. He's still burning up. He would have his fan but he doesn't know where it is. He's so hot he's sweating. He said it feels like summer already. He even has the window open. He must not be use to hot weather this time of year. We can't even swim yet because our pool isn't clean it'll take days to clean it. The city pools won't open till next month. I'm a little bit warm myself. But when we were with our friends he would talk to me more and touch my hair and stuff like that. After the musical it s tradition to go out to eat after and I ended up siting next to him. It was really fun and we all talked a lot. A week ago it was my birthday and we hadn t talked much after the musical but he came up and nudged me and said happy birthday. Which he had no reason to because we aren t close friends and I m not popular or anything like that. I also forgot to mention he is really shy too. So I decided to follow him on instagram and waited about a week before I asked him if he was going to a talent show that weekend. And he ended up leaving me on read so I was kinda upset because it was a simple question. But he did end up going and he texted me if I was there and he ended up sitting next me and my friends. He also went to another school event with us. Later that night I was texting him and he seemed to be engaging in the conversation too and he said we should hang out sometime. So I was feeling very confident and gave my number to him and told him to text me. I thought everything was okay because I went to school the next day and he playfully poked me on the back but he still hasn t texted. It s been 3 days and no text. |

So today since our class ended earlyer I would have all the time alone in my house, however, since I had ages to go to my friens house I said yes (I basecally did this in an atempt to show that I care for her because I constantly find excuses to decline her invitation) So after going in for my lesson, I started having secont thoughts and I made a plan to skip going with my friend again. So when the bell rang, I would run and hide somewhere outside the school. Another friend of mine would go up to my best friend and tell her that my dad picked me earlier to go to the doctor, but my second friend desided to be stupid and run with me when the bell rang. She was suposed to inform my friend about my "visit to the doctor" sho she wouldn't get mad. So when I go home my best friend phones me 2 times and I don't pick it up becouse I was supposedly "at the doctor" and then a few hours later I phone her to tell her why I "couldn't" go to her house. I phone her a couple of times but she dosn't reply. She does that some times but now I'm not sure if she's mad at me... And I'm kinda scared to phone agan because I think she will be mad...What can I do? |

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 09:14 AM PDT So i moved into this school in January the 8th 2015 in Germany, so i need to learn the language, through the process of learning the language and trying to make couple of friends in a class where all of them are 2 years younger than me, i went through some problems, in my old class, i always felt judged by the students as i stood up and presented my homework, especially if they were in German, and i had a few problems which were unnecessary but happened repeatedly everyday ! i was on good terms with one of the other classes, so i switched, I feel more comfortable now while speaking, but one of the girls (lets call her Sarah) which welcomed me the most as i transferred to the school now hates me after a chemistry accident, where i threw away a solution we were supposed to use for later, but A) I asked them before i threw it and B) no one explained what should we do ! and i did not understand the teacher quite well, anyways in our group there are two other friends, lets call them June and Danny, they both are really best friends, Sarah took Danny on her side and flipped everyone else on me and June.. We are in the 9th grades (im supposed to be inthe 11th) I was wondering why cant anyone else see how unfair Sarah is and everyone else is teaming up on me and June ? I just find it really childish and irritating ! what can I do ? |

I also have blue eyes and brown hair. They say that guys hate big forehead girls and that girls with big boobs shouldn't be cheerleaders. Another mom told her daughter when I could hear her that I scared her. Wtf? I am 16. They call me ugly behind my back but to my face they act all nice to me. He came back upstairs with breakfast, but when I rolled over he had put chocolate syrup all over his chest and abs. We slept in the same bed (actually we cuddled with no shirts on), but we did not have sex. We just talked and stroked one another until we fell asleep in each other's arms. We're flirty friends, but we have kissed a few times (like 20+ times). I felt this strange like bubble kisses on my temple with a whisper in my ear "time to get up beautiful. Breakfast has arrived," then another few kisses on my temple happened again. We shared breakfast, then he took a shower to get the chocolate syrup off his chest and abs. Before getting into the shower, he nudged his head towards the bathroom door to tell me to come watch him shower. I just laughed and nodded no with a smirk on my face. I still had orange juice and breakfast left to eat and watching him was not going to happen as friends. He brought breakfast on the tray. |

Then she met this guy who she had only known for a couple days and i guess she decided it was okay for her to say horrible, cruel things about me to him and she thought i wouldn t find out. when i found out, all i did was stop speaking to her and nothing more. then i found out she started speaking about me behind my back and spreading lies about me and telling people i bully her and that she tried being the bigger person and apologized but she never did. she also told people she exposed me for being a liar but that s not possible bc i did nothing and i m the one who could expose her. i m really sick of her doing this to me and ruining my life and she s just a horrible person to people in general. she s very manipulative and always tries to find out things about people to use against them. I have screenshots of messages that would expose her and evidence of things she s said about me. basically i would just like an idea or a way to use this stuff to expose her and just end these rumors and lies all for once..and don t tell me to just move on bc i ve tried and she s taking things to another level so please any ideas of how to expose her/get revenge?? |

We all have the right to feel valued and do whatever makes us happy without society's 'norms' getting to our head. BUT, all my friend's obsession with beauty has gotten to a unhealthy point where it's affecting me and frankly, I'm beginning to feel concerned for my friends. Is gossiping about looks everyday and taking 10 selfies a day vain? Yeah it is. does it bother me? no it's none of my business. Am I concerned? A tiny bit because I don't know why or since when I got dragged into this vicious cycle. Everyday I get compared to my friend based on looks. It's so freaking superficial! 'She's prettier than you, you're so pretty' etcetc. For a period of time, I felt I wasn't good enough because of petty things such as this. I'm glad I changed my perspective now, but I can't change my social's circle's perspective. They constantly adhere to society's beauty standards by making everything in terms of looks or expensive makeup brands a 'competition'. If you want to eat weight loss pills or use makeup, sure no problem. However, describing others self worth based on physical appearance is annoying af, especially when everyone is doing the exact same thing and you can't seem to escape. |

They define some of us as annoying little kids if we're on their bad side (usually the loud people) but if we're friends with them or for the kids who act less wild, they call us adorable or cute. I'm in grade 9 now and they still call us that sometimes. Why do they think that we're cute as if we're babies or puppies? I remember back in grade 7 when we had this tour to the high school because high school starts in grade 8 for us. And we visited a senior class then one girl just squealed, "OMG the grade 7's are so adorable". What's with this thing where they treat us like unequals/like babies? |

But here s my dilemma: I had already paid $1, 200 for security and another $1, 200 for rent and told the other roommates it s confined I m moving in. I spoke to my parents in Friday, laying my cards in the table saying "this is the deal" but my parents strongly disagreed with my decision and scolded me, thus cancelling my plans to move to the house in question. I feel as though I had been dug in a ditch I can not dig myself out of. I have no idea what to say to the roommates or what to do about the money, let alone make my parents see I m an adult capable of living in my own. Any advice at all would be great, thanks |

First, she's absolutely beautiful. She's an exchange student from France and she's naturally gorgeous. Whenever we go out with her, guys drool over her. There were many instances where I've invited guys to my dorm room to talk and then she walks in and they completely forget about me and gravitate towards her like a magnet. She's also super kind, she has a killer personality and she volunteers with the school and goes on these trips during school breaks to third world countries to help little kids. She's also so smart, she's studying to be a doctor and she has a perfect GPA. It's just so annoying how she gets all the attention and my roommates don't. We've tried to do things to get her to leave the dorm, like we put the air conditioner super cold so that she wakes up shivering and one time during a party we made guys go to her room while she was sleeping to bother her. But then we ended up getting in trouble for that. I just don't know what to do with her anymore, I'm tired of her getting all the attention, what should I do at this point? |
