Question: How do you fully recover from narcissist abuse? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 09:07 PM PST I was involved with a narcissist that used me to build a life with someone else. I had no idea of the double life he was leading as he basically used me to help him side hustle for additional cash for his current wife. He was engaged to her at the time he was using me for money, clients for a side business, sex, etc... The odd thing is just recently he attempted to contact a friend of mine on social media. He does this every two years but I thought the protective order I had put in place after he beat me would be indication his time in my life is over. How do you recover from this and does karma ever get people like this? |
Question: My fiancé asked me to have children then marriage.? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 08:46 PM PST We fight as much as any couple, but he told me the only way we can set a date is if we don't have any fights for 6 months. It is difficult because his very mean brother moved in with us and treats me terribly. Then my fiancé said..... but we can have kids . Wtf, I'm good enough to bare your kids , but I have to be perfect to marry? I don't ***** and moan. I am feeling so disrespected and used. He won't defend me against his brother who literally treats me like dirt. I invited this kid into our home. I share all of the bills. I'm getting fed up. |
Question: Could she use this against me in the divorce? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 08:08 PM PST Okay I am getting a divorce in a month and I am 24 and she is 21 we both make good money things aren't so well and we don't have children which is the good part we still live together but I sleep in the secondary room we have. She was threatening me Saturday night after an argument that she would keep the condo we bought and the Acura nsx that I paid 100,000 for and she only paid 70,000 it ended in her slapping me. I haven't talked to her ever since until this morning. She is temperamental and almost everything bothers her and I have never struck her before this morning when I was sitting in a table in the balcony working in my laptop she came asking me to clean the blender because she was going to use it I ignored her then she closed my laptop and asked again and said I'm not going to tell you again "your the woman that's your job" then she grabbed my MacBook and slammed it on the floor shattering it. I got so angry and slapped her. She just grabbed her cheek and looked at me with fire in her eyes and just went back inside into her room. I never struck her before this is the first time that ever happened could she use it against me? |
Question: Is it normal that I'm jealous of my friend? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 06:38 PM PST We're both considered attractive but she chose to have an open relationship with her husband who is way older than her. She's been going out on dates and here I am sometimes getting jealous of feeling that new love from a new beau. I do love my husband though and I don't think anyone new will be good enough. Anyways, I do resent her at times and it makes me feel that she's toxic as she's naking me feel lije my marriage is not good enough with her talks of how happy she is with her new dates. Is this normal? I feel like friendship is going downhill. I tjink I'm jealous of her new found happiness... married or not. |

Question: Sister in law is getting married to a cheater! What do I do? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 06:17 PM PST So my sister in law is not the brightest. Has a childlike mentality. She met this guy almost a year ago and they fell in love. It was nice until she started telling me that he was trying to make her pregnant on purpose. Now she doesn't have a good job, no license or anything. She became pregnant, caught him cheating, still stayed with him. Now just recently three nights in a row he did not come home. He claimed he was at a friends house, but he had his phone turned off and did not talk to her for three days. Then when he got back home and they argued about it, he told her he will marry her just to shut her up. I tried to talk to hr about it but she is VERY in denial about him, and how sneaky he is. I don't know if I should try intervene or just sit back and not say anything about it. My husband (her brother) already caught him in his act and tried to plead with her but she just isn't hearing it.. |

Question: My son is accusing my fiancé of abusing him? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 05:10 PM PST So like the title says, my son recently told me in private that my fiancé has been emotionally and at times, physically abusive toward towards my son (he's quite young). Needless to say this is really troubling... but I just don't see her doing something like that. She has been really territorial when it came to anything to do with my ex wife before. This is the first time in the now 4 years that my son has complained about her treatment of him, and these are extremely serious accusations... How do I proceed? |
Question: How do you find your passion (s) again? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 04:33 PM PST So I've recently got married and moved to a new city, but I've lost my passion. I've been struggling to find a job that I'm happy with, and my in laws don't share the same passions as I do. It sucks because my husband doesnt always support my passions either. It's hard to find friends as an adult (unlike college) so I'm wondering what are some ways I can feel my passion come to life again? How do I connect with people who share those same passions and support me? |
Question: How do I explain to my daughter that I will always love her? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 04:31 PM PST I have a 9 year old daughter from a previous marriage. Her dad and I got divorced when she was 2. I am now remarried and 7 months pregnant. My daughter thinks I will no longer love her once the baby is born. I have told her I will always love her but she is upset that I am no longer married to her father and going to have another baby. |

Question: Should I tell him I'm pregnant? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 02:17 PM PST Ok, I really need someone's advice as I can't discuss this with my family or friends. Basically I was dating a guy and two months after we had broken up, I discovered I'm pregnant... What complicates things even more is that guy is like 4 years younger than me (I'm turning 25 in 4 months and he's only 21- biggest mistake of my life) and he's in college (medical school) I've decided not to have an abortion, raise the child alone and keep it a secret forever. Besides a child can grow up without a father in his life, there are many women who are successful single mothers (it would be pretty embarassing for the kid to have an much older mother than a father. He's dating someone else right now anyway I don't need financial aid to raise my kid from anyone, I'm independent. What shall I do? |
Question: Does the father's name have to be on birth certificate? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 02:03 PM PST And if the father does sign on birth certificate, does it mean he has visitation rights over the baby? Can someone explain? We were just dating, it's not like we were married or sth, so he can't prove he's the biological father right? If I don't list his name, does he have any rights at all over the baby? He wouldn't be able to prove it's his baby right? |

Question: Is my husband being too controlling? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 01:46 PM PST I have an 8 year old son with my ex husband. My ex husband comes over to our house when my husband is not home to visit his son a couple of times a week for a few hours. He will watch tv with him or play games with him on our couch. This has been going on since our divorce however the other day my husband told me my ex wasn't welcome to hang out at our house anymore and he needed to start picking up and taking his son to either his place or somewhere else instead. He said he felt him being in our home was disrespectful and he needed to man up and start acting like a real divorced dad instead of someone hanging around our house. I disagree because my son and my ex are happy doing this and I like it to and I see no problem with it. I believe my husband is being too controlling. What should I do? |

Question: I was shocked to find out who my wife of 22 years has fantasised about while we have sex!? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 12:02 PM PST We are very open about everything so I asked the question most men dare not ask I was amazed at the answers she gave, our preacher!, the 18 yr old kid who cuts our grass, Brad Pitt ( of course) the chubby plumber we use for repairs, a handsome guy she sat next to on a plane 15 years ago, her first boyfriend, a McDonalds server, a pirate she saw in a film, my brother!, but her favourite is a werewolf, a pure fantasy of being ravished by the man wolf Is this normal? |

Posted: 01 Mar 2017 08:28 AM PST I have been married for 2 years to a man who abuses me emotionally and verbally. Intense suffering. My life is miserable with him as he is always putting me down and calling me terrible names. I never had the courage to walk away despite all of my suffering. But lately, I met a single man who makes me feel wonderful about myself, he makes me laugh, he compliments me, he calls me every day.Nothing happened nor will it happen as long as I am still married because this is against our principles both. Yesterday, we were talking and I was DEEPLY troubled, he urged me to file for divorce and to end my suffering; he told me that I was a wonderful woman and that any man would kill to have me by his side; that this marriage was probably a mistake, to get a divorce, and to become free again and find the right person. When I told him "what are you talking about? What right person is there for me?", he answered "You are a young and amazing lady, there is a right person for you…" He went silent for a few seconds and said "He is probably already out there". I have a gut feeling that this man likes me as more than a friend. He calls me EVERY SINGLE day and we talk for an hour or 2 on the phone or over a drink,he comforts me, compliments me saying I'm amazing. He also told me that he is never the type to call a woman every day, that am the only one he calls! what did he mean by "he is probably already out there"? Was he talking about himself? Does he like me? Or is he just being friendly? |
Question: What do you do if you starting to not feel sexually attracted to your spouse? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 07:48 AM PST Been married for over 15 years, we mostly get along and have fun together, but we both have admitted we are starting to fall out of love with each other sexually. Has this happened to others...what did you do? Still like being with each other, but sex sometimes does not seem appealing |
Question: If I marry a woman am I liable for her child she had in another marriage? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 07:44 AM PST would she be getting child support payments from the biological father? What happens if we divorce, would I get stuck with any payments? Most marriages today end in divorce. |
Question: Why does my husband replace me with porn? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 07:29 AM PST My husband and I haven't even been married a year.. When we were dating we had a healthy sex life. Now that we are married he won't have sex with me until his data runs out. He watches porn instead of having sex with me. When I try to be sexy, ( like wearing sexy nightys, or even more kinky things) he denies me. It's killed my self esteem. I've seen this porn he looks at, it's gang bangs and more than 3 people going at it. I'm very traditional I feel my husband should accept me for who I am. I can't understand why he wont. When his data finally runs out, he wants sex with me. He closes his eyes and won't kiss me. I feel so ugly and uncomfortable with it all. I've thought about just ending our marriage but it' hasn't been very long. I don't know what to do anymore please someone help me. |

Question: Is boredom a good reason for divorce? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 07:15 AM PST I read an article about a woman who divorced her husband of 5 years just because she thought he was boring. She described him as perfect and a hard worker then went on to say how they lived in a nice Victorian home but said he was devastated by the sudden divorce. After the divorce she went on to travel the world. Do you think she was right to do this or do you think she overreacted? Do you believe divorce should be instigated because a spouses boredom? |
Question: My dad stole money from his girlfriend and he ruined a woman's marriage? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 06:40 AM PST My dad came from an abusive family, his parents divorced when he was 12 and his mother was selfish and his father constantly beat him. He used to sleep around and just run away from life. He slept with a married woman & her husband found out and divorced her. Then he slept with a woman and stole her money. This was before my dad married my mom. |
Question: Why was my husband was in rare form over cold meds and cupcakes yesterday? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 06:20 AM PST It seems as if my husband was in rare form yesterday for no reason. He came home from work with a chip on his shoulder. For the past week he's been fighting a very bad cold. He actually took Monday off because of it. Yesterday when he came in I asked him where the Theraflu was because I sneezed a few times and didn't want to catch his cold. He told me that the Theraflu was for sever colds and for me not to waste it on just a few sneezes. He suggested I go take some Nyquil instead. I'm trying to avoid his cold so why not take something strong. Then he decided to make some cupcakes out of the blue. We were sitting there watching TV and he just gets up and goes in the kitchen and makes a batch of them. When he took them out of the oven he sat them on the counter to cool before he put the icing on them. They were smelling so good so I grabbed one and started eating it. He got pissed that I couldn't wait another 10 minutes till he put the icing on them. He said it was like if someone was making a cake and before the person put the icing on it someone just cut a big slice out of it. What's his problem? Maybe he was just on his period yesterday. |
Question: How To Get Rid Of My Mistress Happily? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 05:48 AM PST I am a male of 57 married 30 years back and I have 2 children elder one is working in a MNC and younger is completing his MBA this year. I am in relation with a women of 35 since 2009 she has left her husband, she has 2 kids 16 & 11 years of age. I was at the place working was a village, where she belongs, when I transferred from there to another place she couldn't bear the situation and forced me to take her with me,I did not want but could not refuse.I arranged a flat for her and bearing almost all her expenses, now as I am getting older I will retire from my job very soon and I don't find myself to bear this situation, she also do not have any place to go except my place, neither I want her live in any trouble nor I find myself to bear this situation. Question: How can I help him understand it's dangerous? Posted: 01 Mar 2017 04:53 AM PST My husband is waking up very angry. Like today actually. It seems the smallest thing sets him off. I apologize for something and he gets enraged. I am staying calm (even though I'm a nervous wreck inside) and not arguing back. A scary thing with this is that he is expressing anger while he is driving. This morning he drove off so hard that he almost spun out and crashed 2 houses down. He does this driving angry all the time. If we are in the car and arguing or he gets upset, he really puts his foot to the floor. He says hes not doing anything, but he is driving very hard. I already refuse to ride with him unless I'm driving now. It's hard for me though, because I am having neck issues and have a hard time driving. Pretty sad that I have to be scared around my own husband. Please help me? I'm actually not arguing. He is being pretty abusive. I guess you forgot that everyone is not normal and happily adjusted to life. He was yelling and arguing at me. The dog jumped the fence this morning and then we couldn't find the truck keys. He argued at me while all of this was going on. I was trying to help. I know what gaslighting is. He does it to me all the time. You are horrible for saying this. I am obviously someone who is verbally/emotionally abused and you blame me?? Most of the time our "arguing" is him saying that I am doing something wrong. We do drink sometimes, but this isn't about alcohol. He didn't have anything to drink last night, and hardly ever does. We do drink sometimes, but this isn't about alcohol. He didn't have anything to drink last night, and hardly ever does. We do drink sometimes, but this isn't about alcohol. He didn't have anything to drink last night, and hardly ever does. Thank you Ana. He has already done those things. I'm too depressed to care about myself. |
