I live with my Mom and step dad. A couple years ago I started to steal money off my moms credit card. I knew it was wrong and every time I did it I would hate myself after words. Every time she would argue with me or hit me I would go and steal and buy stuff online and it made me feel a lot better. Than after she caught me a couple of times I finally felt super bad and stopped stealing from her. Then when my mom got married I started to live with my step dad. He pretends to be happy, He lies straight to our faces, and my grandma told me he smokes pot (my grandma on my mom's side). He has an on and off behavior. One day he'll be nice, and the next day he's an @sshole. He's been talking about renting out a place to get away from us (he stated that he wants to get away from my sister's baby so he doesn't have to hear the crying, but it's likely to get away from us all). My Dad loves me and all, but only when I'm doing everything right and only when he's having a good day. As soon as I do something wrong, on purpose or not (usually it's always an accident) he gets extremely mad at me. Even when I have a different opinion he will go on and on about how my opinion is wrong and his is most defiantly right. If course I love my mom to death, but we aren't close at all. She has anger issues and always gets mad at my dad for things that he did in the past, and then she always takes it out on me or her friends. She's a foreigner and doesn't really get jokes in English and when I try to tell her a story in English she normally doesn't understand and just says "ok..?" and then asks me to explain it which pretty much kills the mood. My mom is a drug use first off, her and my brother got in to it, he's 18. She told the police that he came after her with a knife but it was the other way around. Mom keeps me from Dad. She tells me Dad doesn't love me and then flips out when I go see him anyway now that I'm an adult. I am 24 and my boyfriend is 27. He still lives at home as he is saving for a house. He and his mom are very close, almost too close. His dad used to be a really bad angry alcoholic I hear. His dad treats his mom like crap, and she nags him. Asking this for my cousin as he wanted advice. His parents took him off their insurance plan at 14, that was 3 years ago. A few months after at 14, he had an emergency and had to go to the ER. Since he had no insurance because of his parents, they keep billing him $32,000(he has showed me how much they billed him for). He keeps calling them and saying he can't afford that right now given his age(17) and that he can't even afford a car and has been looking for a job since June 2015 but because he hasn't finished HS(parents took him out of high school in grade 10), it has been tricky for him. Why would someones parents be evil to take someone off insurance at 14? Can my cousin ever rent a condo or apartment if he is debt of $32,000 and if he can't pay that off until age 27? Hi I recently got the hardest cooking and baking task in school. The problem is I haven't cooked/baked in my life and it's due next Monday. I don't like to cook/bake or make food. Got a sibling,finished his degree but did fail twice before he graduated. Did 2 years local and a year overseas.After he came back he was somewhat different. He never did like to communicate with my parents and always on his laptop playing games. When he came back from Australia, he cooped up in his room only coming out to eat at 3pm then back to his room.Slept in the morning, awake at night. Cussing while playing his games.Parents bugged him to get a job but he never wanted to, said he didn't need it. He did go through an interview and failed because he didn't do too well programming during a test(his degree). Was called back by my mum's help secretly and failed too.But now, my mum secretly helping him get jobs behind his back, turns out he wasn't replying to them and even lied to my mum when she asked if anyone responded to his resume he posted on a job site. He now doesn't play games anymore. I went to his room one night to see if I could get anything out of him, he was just laying on his bed on his phone. Long story short, I found someone who posted tributes (2 years ago) to her grandparents on a site (Find A Grave), and I knew her grandparents as my aunt and uncle (My dad's oldest brother and his wife). I don't know her. Her family and mine were geographically distant, so there was not much contact though I do remember visiting my aunt and uncle on a few occasions as a kid. My father, I m sorry to say this but seriously, I don t know but, when he talks or retorts my mom s suggestions or anything, don t get me wrong, my mom is really the lone officer guarding a fallen gate. Whatever she does, he s never grateful and always fling insulting words even those around him feel pressured and pissed off from just listening to him talking, his are just...ugh...infuriating. My mom is doing for the better but he s not only creating problems but also pointing fingers at her, saying things such as: "paying for my car taxes is obviously a must," "my expenses should be paid," and some sexist, racist offensive stuffs, I know he s this traditional bigot. but seriously, even just living under the roof with him, who knows someday I might develop some sort of a mental illness or cancer or something. Cause, his words are just ******* CANCEROUS!!!

Question: Why do I have some depression on myself and in the past that hurts me from getting a girl?

As in OCD maybe 8yrs my ex broke up with me I was engaged with her she lied about kid.said it was mine. 2 yrs later my grandparents died 2015 last thing I gave this red teddy bear to my grandmother but then she did I still have it . My mom aunt uncle sold their house in Michigan I got mad at them.i was thinking of buying it back. Whatever my mom says about my grandmother like she was going to send her ring to sister (aunt) but that is not good for our family she won't give it to me or my brother.

Question: How can I deal with being a horrible daughter? Am I a horrible daughter? What can I do to help this situation?...?

where to start? First things first I think I'm a terrible, horrible, waste of a daughter & my parents deserve much better. I have a wonderful relationship with my family; I truly am lucky and thankful to have them, but I'm wasting their time and money trying to catch this seemingly unattainable dream. I earned a bachelors degree, graduated three years ago with a 3.2 (which is severely low for this field if you're trying to get into grad shool) but somehow I was accepted into a school. I was extremely happy & excited..until I began performing poorly there also, extending the two year masters degree to a four year degree..I've been struggling with this a lot..the main thing I'm struggling with, though, is that between clinic/classes/me being a weak student, I only have time for a part time job..it pays eight dollars an hour & I'm only able to get maybe 10-15 hours a week.. I'm living in the cheapest apartment I could find in my this city; but eight dollars an hour is simply not enough to pay the rent and bills. My parents didn't even want me to get a job but I mean, I'm 25,still in school, still broke, still borrowing money from them. My mom is working three jobs with a bad back that she just had surgery on one year ago. My dad is working two jobs after he had a stroke one year ago, all because I'm too stubborn to quit. I want so badly for them to be able to go out, enjoy life, retire. I just can't deal with being a burden to them and I'm looking for advice.

Question: After my parents divorce 5 years ago, me and my dad have fought non stop. Its like a cycle. It never ends. Should i cut ties?

Me and my dad fight because him and/or my stepmom will say something that hurts my feelings. When i try to tell them, they say im disrepectful. Ive been ran over so many times by them that im to the point where im done. I gotta stand up for myself right? Instead of sacrificing my feelings for his which ive done for 5 years. Help.

So my sister and I just got in a arguement. My older sister really thinks she doesn't owe anything to my mom. Even though she's 25, has 2 kids and is living with my mom. She literally told me to my face that she doesn't owe sh*t to my mom. Im not saying that she needs to give my mom maney and other stuff but to at least go out and look for a place and move out. Shes making my mom carry all her weight by making her clean the mess she and her kids make. We want her to learn to be independent but she always comes to my mom when shes in a problem.. I just dont know what to do to make her to value what my mom has done for her and to realize that she's making my mom suffer.

Question: What should I do?!?

I live with my drug addicted mother bc I have nowhere else to go. It's my gdmas house but she's frequently out of town leaving me and my mother alone. She knows about it, but doesn't do anything nor do her siblings.She brings her bf when he's not allowed and they do drugs together. I'm almost graduating community college, I'm 20. Idk what to do and I don't have nowhere else to go.

Question: Do I have a right to be annoyed?

For the past 3 days, I have been planning something to do with my sister. I was intending to have this done 3 days ago but she left and said she'd be home the next day. Well two days ago the same thing happens even after she states she would be home. Now she still hasn't returned. Should I just do the deed without her?

I'm so anxious to get out of here, I'll be sixteen this Sunday, so it's not practical to move out at this age, but I still need out. It's really making it hard to achieve my goals living here. I feel trapped. I'm in a small dysfunctional house with a ton of siblings. It's all holding me back and making me depressed all the time. I'd rather kill myself than wait another two years to get out of here. What do I do? I'm not good at being patient

My mother has been hospitalized for a while and she's starting to get better and she's almost leaving . Recently there's been a death in my family (My uncle) her cousin. He died months ago and she still doesn't know because my family belives if she finds out shes going to get depressed and then sick again and stay in the hospital longer but I feel obligate to tell her because it's wrong keeping a secret like that and sure she will be sad but it was death waiting to happen so I'm sure she will cope with it well. What should i do ??

So I come from a very athletic family. Everyone there has played a sport or is currently playing one. I'm the black sheep because I hate all things to do with sports. I hate playing and watching them. My little brother on the other hand plays everything; basketball, baseball and football. I used to go to every game because I was too young to stay home and id just read or play on my iPad. So I've never really enjoyed it. Well once I was old enough to stay home alone I hardly go now. It's not because I don't care about my brother I do it's just because I get very bored and stressed out watching them. Basketball gives me migraines, football is hard to understand and baseball makes me worried a fly ball will hit me. My mom though hates that I won't go. She says I've missed out on a lot of my brothers stuff and it makes her cry Everytime. I've tried to explain to her why I don't and how my brother wouldn't come to any of my hobby related stuff but she won't listen. I just don't know what she wants me to do. I know I should go to every game but I just do not want to!
