Posted: 05 Dec 2016 08:22 PM PST a year ago this boy form the same gym period asked for my number after our dancing unit. its the first time anything like this has happened to me, so i was really upbeat and peppy for the rest of the day but he texted me that night and i was super excited and asking my big sis what i should say and stuff, and he asked to eat lunch with me the next day and of course i said yes! but the next day he cancelled five minutes before lunch.i was crushed, but oh well we could always do it later.he texted me the next day saying he was sorry and we talked but all of our conversations would last 30 minutes tops.he texted me a month and a half later! we saw and still see each other everyday he decided to text me at work so i opened it but got yelled at by my boss and couldnt text back, so after my shift i explained what happened.and i never heard from him again! but i cant get him out of my head! but if i texted him now, a year later..would i look desperate? would he ignore me? or would he tell me that i was the one who ignored him instead of vice versa? idk why but for some reason i just want things to work, i feel like i messed up what could have been a great thing by not texting im back right away..? Its impossible to avoid him too because i see him everywhere in the halls, pretty much half of my friends are his good friends, can i text him back? a year after we met? What should i say? We would FaceTime, text, and hang out for hours. Also, we'd kiss, cuddle, and hold hands like a couple would. But after a few weeks that fell apart because her mother was diagnosed with cancer. (At least I think that's the reason it fell apart) She hasn't acted the same sense then with me, she barely even talks to me anymore on her own. I've offered to be there for her countless times and I've helped however I could...(including giving her $2000 as an early Christmas present because she's struggling with money). She's acting like we never did anything together now. We hung out yesterday and there was no moves of any kind towards something like a relationship. I really like this girl and I don't know how to go about winning her over, or at least having her feel like she can confide in me. She's extremely social and is always looking for someone to talk to but for some reason she hasn't been talking to me like she used to. How can I get things back on track with her? |

He tells me about his past and the past women he's been with and why it ended, basically opening up to me He stares at me sometimes and when I catch him looking, he will keep looking for 5 more seconds longer and then looks away. Said she never had anyone care for her the way I did. She told me how perfect I was... but she had been dealing with a lot of anxiety and she shut down. I met her closest friends and even her parents and a sister. They all loved me and said so to my face. I really like this woman and can see a future with her, and she said the same. I am giving her a few more weeks of space but will text her around Xmas (12/25/16) or New Years Eve (12/31/16). Her last text to me was in response to me saying that space may be for the best. Her text read: "I don't want it [space] either but it might be what I need. I will be thinking of you often. Thank you for caring for me in a way I've never had. You made me believe again and I want to work to be better for you. I hope I haven't ruined this and that some time to work on myself is what is needed for us to have a chance. Thank you Grant. You're all the things." I have mixed feelings about how I should proceed. I am unsure if I am being too hopeful and putting my life on hold for a lost cause. She's an amazing woman who is struggling with her issues, but I don't believe thats a reason to forget her. |
| Posted: 05 Dec 2016 07:32 PM PST So there are 3 people involved. Myself jasmine and Ben (fake names). So Jasmine likes Ben and Ben knows this but Ben is gay Jasmine doesn t know this. Now they re both really good friends of mine and I was actually one of the first people that Ben told he was gay and I m usually the first person Jasmine comes to when she wants to just let out her craziness and frustrations over Ben and not being with him. But neither of them wants me tell either of them about it. Its been like this for nearly a year but I didn t find out about Ben until July. Every time Jasmine asked if Ben likes her I would say yes but I would try to drop hints for example yeah he likes you...as a friend but I would never tell her I didn t want to hurt her again.( I made her cry on two separate occasions the topic was Ben). But tonight she asked if Ben likes her again and this time I asked her how she would feel if Ben only wanted to be friends. She kind of got it right away after that and I told her almost everything. She handled it better then I thought at first but when we got home (to her place) She went in her room and closed the door. Which she almost never does( She doesn t like being alone and enjoys the company of others). I m pretty sure she s hurting a lot more then shes letting on right now. I m mostly looking for opinions and thoughts. I haven t told her he is gay that was something he wanted to do in his own time |

I'm still in high school but I'm really into guys in their 20-40's. Is that wrong? There's just something about older men I find so attractive. |

Posted: 05 Dec 2016 07:29 PM PST I am currently doing as much research as I can on the subject, but once I get all the research on dynamics and figure out what I'd be willing to do I am at a complete loss as to how to find a partner. Even if I did tell some of my friends about this they are all either batting for the other team or more laid back (or almost as submissive as I am) than what I need. How do I find a partner? |
