I have become quite busy with college, internships and what not. I have to plan days before to hang out. Well this friend has become so annoyed and child like because I am not available to the time she wants. I cannot randomly decide to hang out. Besides that, I have times where I am busy with school work or exams. I have another friend who has faced a similar situation with her. He messages her and she never responds. She sort of ignores us if we do not seem to meet to her likings to hang out. I honestly am done. I sometimes feel like I'm the one at fault. |

I was really good friends with this woman from work, her name is Alexa. I had a small crush on Alexa but she was married, I never said anything because i respect her since she's married. But we were still work friends, we would always talk and we both really enjoyed each others company. She would always smile and laugh with me, all my friends even loved her personality. But some people didn't like us being friends, soo they went to management saying we spend our whole shift talking and not doing work. So later management told Alexa she needs to stop talking to me or else she will be fired. So now she is under investigation, she told one of my friends that she feels as if she cant smile anymore because everyone is controlling her. My friends keep telling me that she has changed alot, now she just sits at her desk and doesn't say anything. I noticed she began giving me the cold shoulder, soo My friend Jenn told Alexa that i feel as if she doesn't want to talk to me anymore. Aexa said " that's not the case, i would love to talk to him but im being controled by everyone right now."........when i saw her sunday she didn't anything to me, and she wouldn't even look at me in the face. She looked kinda mad or upset. Everytime i saw her we would always talk, but now we are strangers. Is our friendship done????? I said "man, I went and got a 12 pack of raman noodles, and I forgot how freaking good they are" his response was of course " okay..." he doesnt do super often, but when he does it just makes me feel like what I said was wierd, or like what I said irritated him. Am I over thinking this? |

The thing is, I don't know her THAT well, kind of "oh I know you because we go to the same classes and we talk in school but not really outside of school" well. She's extremely quiet as is, so I was shocked to find out the reason why she hasn't spoken a word is because her mother passed away. Because we're not really close friends, I don't want to be insensitive by completely ignoring her pain and being cheerful like normal, but I also don't want to hover over her with concern and pity. I got pissed and threatened to fight him but I really wasn't going to do it I did it out of anger. I was going though a tough time with life. Anyways he told people he beat me in a fight but eventually told everybody it was a lie. Also me and him said we were both wrong for what we did. I thought that was it turns out that bastard behind my back and told on me. I'm in college and in the boys dorm and the guy who runs the place told him do you wanna Press charges on him I was piss and worried luckily he didn't do it. So tell me something was he wrong for that just know he started it I ended up being the victim and the bad guy. Friends argue with each other right? And move on also he only told him what I did not why I did it cause he knew he would get in trouble too. I think he did it for attention cause he don't have that many friends and lastly the guy that if I threaten him again I'll be kicked out off school the next that he did was talk crap to me and was disrespecting me and if I retaliate all he had to do is tell on me he's doing to look cool. I work as personal support worker, and she works as a secretary. I would always go up to her desk and we would always talk, i really liked her company because she had an amazing personality.... She really liked having me around her, but we got into trouble for always talking and our boss got mad with us. I asked her if she could have my back so that i dont get in trouble and she agreed. since shes been at the company longer i thought she would be okay.. Soo thanks to her im off the hook with my boss, but i found out that her job is in jeopardy and i feel really bad. They keep asking her "why she allows me to stand there and talk to her while she has work to doo. " We are not allowed talking at work, but i feel terrible because im the one to blame for this!!!!! I was the one always sitting at her desk talking to her. I want to give her an apology note at work, because this is stressing me out. Should i give her a note???? I was gonna get someone else to give her the note. |

Or people just stop and stare at me after I say something. Or even when I try to crack a joke people fake laugh at the joke. It really discourages me from talking because I get the same reaction from everybody and Its already hard enough for me to talk to people due to social anxiety. Most people they connect instantly and agree with each other opinions and find each other funny. I hate it dont happen like that for me. Is there anything I can do? |

Secondly, I was born in the wrong country and they would NEVER fly over here -my country isn't popular and most people dont even know about it. I am super obsessed with them and I can't even do anything about it. There was a time where I would get all emotional whenever I think of them (it lasted for a LONG while) I tried googling it but all they would say is to go meet them when it is almost impossible for me.. Nobody understands. My sisters think I am overacting and I don't even feel like opening with them because they think its stupid of me to feel this way. I can't even mention about Kpop to them because they find it annoying. Is it this wrong to be obsessed with the boyband I love? |

Me: "It was good, I just went to a friends house" She goes on to talk about her little time spent with her husband and their lame couple friends. They went to a restaurant, the kind where the waiters sing happy birthday. I looked at her. She is very conservatively dressed. On December 31st, I spent time hanging out in Brooklyn. The crowd I was with was people in the arts and entertainment business. I obviously can't name drop, they are not celebrities, but they are contemporary emerging artists. The vibe was just much better. I've been to parties with coke I've been to parties without coke. Now, I myself don't do that at all. But I have to say.... the best parties I've been to are those with coke. People are more fun, more spontaneous, there's always that place outside where everybody is passing a joint. A new level of hype is always being attained. I couldn't help but feel an immense pang of coldness as I heard my coworker talk. Her story, her dress, her face just struck me as too much... She's way too square. I don't even know how this person is real. How are squares even real? Why am I so prejudiced against them? |

She's been like a sister to me forever, and we've loved each other like family. She would come to me with her problems, and I'd come to her with mine. However, these past few months, she's changed a lot. She's started hanging out with people who do drugs and skip classes even though she used to hate that kind of thing and thought it was dumb. She doesn't seem interested when I talk to her anymore, and doesn't want to listen to any of my problems. I tried to ignore it at first, but it's been getting worse and worse. I no longer feel happy talking to her like I used to. I feel worn out afterwards and like i had to watch every word I said in case I upset her somehow. I don't want to feel like that anymore, but I know I'd miss her so much. I promised her I'd always be there, and she promised me. It just feels wrong. What do I do? |

(This is long but I want to explain) This only happened 3 times. When I was twelve, I had this friend, we ll call him Alex. I was friends with Alex for a long time, and even though he was two years younger than me, and smaller than me, I was still afraid. 1 - Alex came over to my house and told my mom he wanted to play with me. She let him in, and sent him up to my room. He woke me up and I turned and looked at him and then rolled back over. He said "If you lay in that bed too long, I might do bad things to you." I didnt really know how to take that, so I just brushed it off, laughed, and continued on. 2 - Alex, me, and another friend on mine (We ll call her Jess) were walking down the street, and Jess started to walk faster. When she was 5 feet away, he started to talk about touching himself to the thought of me naked. I started to panic so I ran catch up with my other friend. She didn t seem to notice my panic, so we just continued on with that day. 3 - I was talking with my other friend and Alex just put in a comment here and there. When my other friend seemed really distracted, Alex started talking what he wanted to do to me, how much he wanted to tie me up. I felt so sick and I felt really violated. He went on for 4 minutes like that. Until my other friend realized what he was saying. My brother is still friends with him. He didn t ever touch me, so I felt like it didn t really matter. |

I asked him for a charger because my phone was dying, but he was also charging his phone. He did not want to stop playing, so he told me to go ask his mom who was upstairs. I went up and saw that the door to the master bedroom was slightly ajar, but there was light inside. I knocked, but there was no answer, so I opened the door and saw no one in the bedroom. I got in to see if I could see the charger. Right then the door to the bathroom opened and his mom came out. She had a towel on her head but she was naked. She gasped when she saw me, and just froze with her eyes and mouth wide open. I said "sorry, Joey sent me to get a phone charger". She remained frozen with that fearful expression and just pointed at the nightstand. I saw the charger, got it and left. I actually felt so awkward about her expression that I just said goodbye to my friend and left. What should I do the next time I go to his house or see his mom? |

It's always been hard for me to make friends my last real friendship being middle school and I was always the 3rd wheel. I only have coworkers that I talk to at work and that's that. I'm feeling uneasy about having a baby shower seeing one of my coworkers jokingly commented saying she knows I'm not throwing my own baby shower and I must have some friends who love me to throw me a baby shower and started laughing. Now I'm just feeling embarrassed and not wanting it more now. I had 1 baby shower that I threw and I guess it wasn't so bad because I had 1 friend who was a guy but now it's different I have no one. My husband has friends and close family... for me I don't have anybody. My mom isn't a baby fanatic so she's not supportive or happy about it. She encourages me to not have kids. She doesn't even know I'm pregnant with my 3rd. I don't have anyone on my side to support me or even be happy for me. |
