Question: My 13 years old step daughter accused my husband of sexually abusing her? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 01:36 PM PST CPS came to my home interviewing me, my 8 year old son and my husband. We found out my step daughter made an out cry stating my husband who is her biological father sexually molested her on several occasions while I was work ( I work the overnight shifts). My step daughter visits us during school breaks or holidays, she lives with her mom. The case right now has been transferred to Consumers Affairs. From the investigation and facts presented, my husband is in trouble. When I was interviewed I gave my truest answer to every question I was asked. At this point, is there anything I should do to protect myself and my 8 years old son? |

Question: Is it ok to give a "secret" gift, for a wedding you weren t invited too? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 12:06 PM PST So here is the deal. My mother in law is evil. My husband is her only child, but she has 2 step children. Not to go into too much detail, but think somewhere between the lines of Cinderella s evil step mom and Cruella Devil. She is domineering, manipulative, impossible to please and just plain mean. Here s the question. Her step child s (my husband s half sister) daughter is getting married. Our families are close, and my daughter s are in the wedding. However, Cruella, and her husband, were not invited. They haven t spoken in years, so it s not a surprise. However, at our most recent get together, she gave my husband a big wrapped box. It s Christmas, I thought nothing of it. Until later on, when Cruella pulled me aside and demanded that I place the box on the wedding gift table and I don t say a word to anyone. She didn t ask. She demanded, and then walked away. Of course, I told my husband. Who was as perplexed as I was. We aren t really sure what to do. It s a huge box. We can t just SNEAK it in. We don t want too! Why would she ask us to?! What s in the box? Open it? Or take it to the wedding but don t hide who it is from? She s really so evil, I think she could be really stirring up trouble. Lawd knows what s in the box. Give it back to her? |

Question: Is my friend trying to get with my wife? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:20 AM PST So I told my best friend of 17 years that me and my wife of 10 years were having issues and he asked if I love her anymore. I told him I wasn't sure and to not tell anyone. Fast forward a week and me and my wife were at his place for a little get together, we were wrapping up and about to head home when my friend told my wife that he don't think I love her anymore. My wife tells me this the following morning and I immediately take this as him trying to get with her. Sorry if I'm all over the place but I'm just trying to get some outside opinion. Do you think that was his intentions? My wife says I'm overreacting but I feel as if he had nothing to gain by telling her this. |
Question: Where do you think I can meet smart and family oriented women? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:17 AM PST I'm looking for a woman for serious relationship. Where can I meet a woman who is smart and family oriented? Sorry to say, I have met too many "slow" woman whose priority is only marrying a rich man (a gold digger). And I'm not rich.... just a middle class man. I think Yahoo answers is being attacked by spam bots? @Grandpa: good story from you. I've had met a woman at a bible study at a church. I was chasing her and called her a few times. My opinion of her, she was not a good person because she was focused on my career (I didnt have a job because I just graduated from college) and more on my money (car, house, etc). 10 years later now, I have my own business and I'm doing pretty good (not trying to prove her). |
Question: I have no friends & no life? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 10:26 AM PST I married in 2001, had kids in 2005. I still had a few friends after I married but then they also married and everyone just went different ways. I also moved to a new town. When I had kids we stopped getting invited to playgroups because I had 2 sets of twins a year apart. So when all of the other families were getting together for mommy time I was left at home (you try affording a babysitter for 4 kids). Now 13 years later I'm just a big outsider to these well established groups of friends. I'm not even friends with my husband, we've just grown apart. How can I fix this loneliness? |

Question: Your opinion on monogamy? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:58 AM PST Is there any real reason why monogamy is the only way people should have relationships? Why? Don't wanna hear anything about religion in your reasoning. By that I mean, to me religion is not a valid excuse on why something MUST be. |
Question: Is my marriage in trouble if my wife knows I do not like certain members of her family? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:57 AM PST I love my wife but I do not like a couple of her siblings. It has gotten to the point where I do not want anything to do with her brother because I do not like him or the way he treats her and me. I am avoiding being around him. My wife has told me I can stay home when she visits him. My question is if I keep doing this, is my marriage in trouble? |

Question: I have a situation that is causing a big problem in my marriage.? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 06:50 AM PST My brother was staying with me and he bought a diamond and white gold chain. My husband took the chain and went to Georgia. My brother was so upset, so I asked him the cost and gave him the money. Two months later, my husband returns and gave my brother back the chain. My brother kept the money and the chain and now my husband is very upset that we do not have no money to pay our utility bill. I asked my brother for the money and he said no. Then I told him to give me back the chain, he told me he sold the chain for less than I gave him. My husband is threatening me about divorce. What should I do? Help please with advice. |
Question: Chinese culture and the parents? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 03:28 AM PST Is it considered a serious faux pas in Chinese mainland culture to say any bad words against the parents? I said something in frustration to my in laws because I couldn't communicate with them (language barrier). My wife overheard and was so mad. She said that in mainland culture the husband and wife would immediately bash each other and divorce if either party said a bad word against the other's elderly parents? Is that true? Or is she in the wrong state of mind? |
