He lives 10minutes away and I only see him once a week. he only calls every 3 days and I'll be lucky if he text me for the days in between. He takes forever to text back conversations he initiates and sometimes Don't answer my calls. I would like to see/hear from him more. At least daily communication. We both have full time jobs but we both get home by 9 and he never asks me to come spend time with him except 1 day out the week & we'll go to a bar or just hangout. We both had "the talk" about not dating anybody else. He says we're together, introduces me as his girlfriend but it doesn't feel like I'm spending enough time with him for us to get closer. I still feel like we're casually dating and having casual sex. he says Im overreacting. We were hitting it off very nicely and she seemed just as much into me, if not more, than I was her. Second week comes and she goes cold. I tried a couple times throughout the week to ask her out and both times she ignored for most of the day just to give cold, short replies. The second time, she didn't even address the fact that I asked her out and just stopped reply after just a couple messages. I was really thrown off because I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. BUT he didn't tell me how that made him feel? I have no clue how that has impacted him. On two occasions there's been a communication breakdown, mostly as he's been drunk - he's a little tricky to understand normally due to his mannerisms and as he's foreign so there's a slight language barrier. He just seems to babble nonsense and I struggle to get him to clarify things he says. I've gotten myself upset due to frustration of not being able to get a clear answer from him, I get so wound up over not being able to understand what he's going on about. Last night I blocked him as I thought he was being purposefully obtuse to wind me up for his amusement, like I was a big joke. Important insight: an ex of mine was psychologically abusive, he'd say random things during conversations to confuse me and he'd use his being foreign to claim miscommunication. I don't think this is what this new guy is doing, but this is why I get so worked-up when communication issues happen. I'm socially awkward and better in person, he's clearly struggling with depression and has been clear he finds talking online difficult...in person it may be totally different. I'd like to at least meet him. He seems to want to keep talking and so do I, but I'm not sure if I just need to chill out or if it's him wasting my time. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but at what point do I walk away? I've unblocked him and talked about last night, I feel like I can't walk away now. How do I know what's him being a dud and what's me being too sensitive? If I give him one more chance, how do I define that last chance? |

I just want to wake up to her and she told me one i moved into my own place that she would come over more often and that she would spend the night up under me but that has yet to happen. She always leaves around 6-7 and she only comes over once a week. It was a good date I thought and I wanted it to be more because I like him. He said he needed to rush to get home because his mom was coming over. He got out of one in October 2017. He knew I wanted it to be something more so he told me he couldnt give me that right now but we can remain friends.
