Question: How to deal with passive aggressive roommates? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 05:18 PM PDT I know I already asked this but it was no help... We have had problems with someone eating other people's food, and another roommate not pulling her weight on cleaning....One of my roommates has posted posted it notes around the dorm saying to not eat other people's food, to lock the door, use the disposal, etc. and there's about a month left. How should I deal with it |
Question: Why do people always act like I annoy them and don't like me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 05:07 PM PDT People who I've dated friends say I'm " controlling" which they confuse my loving behavior and wanting to be with them and love them for controlling . Then i get left out emotionally abused by the people I dated/ been friends with then I end the relationship and tell them I'm tired of it . Then later on there begging for me back to me my friend/boyfriend again and I'm just confused??!! This happens with most people and I know I can be a little smothering but it's because of my borderline personality disorder and I really can't help but want to be around the people I thought I love. They always end up texting me non stop when I stop talking to them and cut them out my life or non stop trying to get my attention and talk to them again? Why do they do this? |
Question: I lost my friends due to Anxiety? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 04:49 PM PDT I don't know how long I've had these negative thoughts around people I care about, but it went to the extent of unintentionally hurting my friends. My friends confronted me about why I always look down on them, and hearing that I was such a bad friend really took a toll on me. I never wanted to hurt them in any way, but there's something inside my head that controls my thoughts. I couldn't get my message across so that it'd sound reasonable, because it doesn't sound reasonable. I hate that I can't explain what it is and that I can only cry because it's so confusing.. In the end, I've lost my friends, maybe for the better. But I wish I wasn't ashamed of my helplessness and really try to make them understand. I found out that my friends don't want me back... because it will never change, or I will never change, and I hate that to the point it makes me feel hopeless. I want to scream and shout, but I don't know if it'll come out. Is it best that people with negative thoughts stay away from people? Negative thoughts such as thinking they don't like me, I'm not worthy, I'm only needed for different reasons, I'm too sensitive, I'm too negative, I'm too clingy... |
Question: Have you ever wanted to ask someone out but felt it would damage your reputation? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 04:25 PM PDT I like a coworker and she's leaving for a new job, I'm not even sure if she likes me or if she even likes my gender. The way I see it is I could either reveal my feelings and have her gossip to other coworkers who will make fun of me, make a hint and watch the reaction similar to the first one, just say nothing and move on, or she might actually like me and we go out. We have each others' # and this is the first person who has made me wanna come out just to ask her out, but I have to play it safe and professional, emotions aren't needed. |
Question: Girls who can drive would you have done this? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 04:15 PM PDT I just got home from taking my best friend home. Since it was warm out and I did not go in anyplace and was only gone for 30 minutes I drove barefoot and did not bring my shoes. |
Question: Why is this girl so mean? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 03:50 PM PDT I hate this 19 year old college girl cause when i was crying to my mom because my boyfriend broke up with me for another girl so he can take HER to the 5th grade graduation dance ,she just laughed and said i know NOTHING about love! I cried harder and swore at her . Guess what, im the one who got in big trouble for it! Weve been dating for two weeks and he promised me we'll be together forever . She just shaked her head and said, "gosh your in the 5th grade you know nothing about love. Your not even middle schooler yet". |
Question: Why is my friend so concerned about me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 03:40 PM PDT I'm a 9th grader who is dating a 12th grader. I go to a 8th through 12th high school where they mix the age groups a lot so you tend to interact with more people. My friend is 20 and graduated high school a while ago. She's a sophomore in university now and she seemed upset when I told her we were dating. She insisted that I told her we were "only friends", but maybe that's just what she thought. We had a heated discussion about it for a while. In Canada, we're legally allowed to engage in sexual relationships between our ages (at least in my province). I have Asperger's and it was hard for me to make friends in grade school. With my English teacher, it's the same thing too! My boyfriend and I have the same English teacher but in different classes and grades. He mentioned me being beautiful to our teacher and our teacher made it obvious that I was in grade 9 and that he should be careful. My friend doesn't like the fact I'm dating and she sounds kind of jealous (I hate to admit that!). I get that there's kids in 8th and 9th grade in high school for some Canadian school districts and in other cities kids as young as 7th grade. Also that there may be perverts who want to molest younger people who are always in the same building as them, but hes not a bad person. We've been dating for a month and I know he's not some perverted guy |
Question: My friend gets $100 every A she earns?? And she complains?? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 03:39 PM PDT I was telling one of my close friends that she shouldn t complain about getting $100 for every A she gets in school. She said she has ADHD and dislexia and it s harder for her to get A s than me, which I get, but still there should be no reason to complain. Am I in the wrong? |

Question: Do you think he will still want to have sex with me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 03:06 PM PDT This guy and I have been meeting up since 2015. It has been almost a year since I last saw him. About a month ago he sent me explicit pictures of himself. I told him I would be coming to see him in two months but I can't visit him until July. Will he still want to meet me? |
Question: Can I wait?? Or am I wasting my time? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 02:55 PM PDT I was friends with this girl for a couple years, and our friendship was great. but around mid February she got mad me me, She came to my house to confront me about it because she felt I lied to her. but she was walking away without listening to me. Soo I slightly held her so she wouldn't leave without listening to my side of the story, but she told me on Facebook that I crossed the line when I prevented her from leaving, because she was abused in the past. I began texting her and texting her but she blocked me, I sent her a really long letter with flowers to her house. but she contacted police and the officer told me to leave her alone because it can be considered harassment.....we haven't spoken to each other since February do you think down the road she will talk to me??? She always told me " I was the best guy she ever met and always had her back with anything |

Question: How should I have handled this situation? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 02:31 PM PDT A friend Linda who works in the same large office building as I do ask if I could drive her home as her car would not start. At her home, we were met by her daughter Cindy who I had met previously. Linda ask me to stay for a dinner she would cook for me. As Linda was cooking dinner Cindy ask me if I would help her with her homework which I did. After we finished her homework, Cindy ask me if I thought her mom was cute. I told the truth, her mom was cute. Then Cindy ask me if there were guys that would want to date her mom. I told her with her mom's great beauty, yes there were lots of guys that would want to date her. That is as far as I wanted to take this conversation. However Cindy wanted to go farther. She said she wanted a dad and asked me to encourage her mom to start dating. I told her this was a conversation she should be having with her mom not me. Even though I was her mom's friend, the subject of her mom dating is none of my business. Cindy told me she would be the happiest girl in the world to call me dad. Would I ask her mom for a date? I told her that her mom was 10 years older than I was and probably would want to date someone her age. I again urged Cindy to talk to her mom about this. Mothers (and others) did I handle this situation correctly and should I tell Linda about this conversation. |
Question: Should I try to reach out to my old best friend? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 02:29 PM PDT So I was friends with this girl for 6 years, until I was 12, but then we changed schools (both in the same city tho) and I could see she got new friends and was happy so I stopped being in touch, it s been 5 years and I still miss her... should I reach out to her? |
Question: Twin sister is better than me please help? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 02:16 PM PDT I'm a twin. My sister is much more popular than i am and has soooo many friends and best friends. I have maybe 2 friends and neither would talk to me if i didn't reach out first. She always has better grades than me which sucks because i try so hard in school. She is an amazing singer and excels in everything she does. We both play (different) sports but she is better at hers than i am at mine. My sister is gorgeous and seems to have every boy in our grade wanting to date her meanwhile i haven't had a boyfriend in years. She is never home since she is always at parties or doing things with her friends. I actually can't remember the last time i was invited to do something. I feel so much less important than her and i don't know what to do :( |
Question: Why do some people grow up thinking they're back gonna be babied forever? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:50 PM PDT We are in a split class of grade 7 and 8. There's a girl (let's call her Sarah) who thinks people are always gonna help her and baby her like she's 5 years old forever, Sarah pays almost no attention to important stuff. Yesterday the teacher said we have to bring $15 for a field trip. I told my friend Kayla about bringing $15 because she wasn't at school yesterday so she didn't know. Then Sarah herd this and said "What? We have to pay?!". I'm like, seriously you were there when they said it like 6 times yesterday. We had to bring pizza to a class next door one day. Sarah was in my group for pizza delivery. She placed a slice on the wrong desk so I told her which was the right desk. She was all "ugh so much work!". I thought that was pretty selfish and babyish because that's barely even a big job. She doesn't even have a clue what the assignment was after it's been explained, she comes to people and asks every time. Then even the teacher started expecting the whole class to baby her like a little 2 year old. The teacher was like "Sarah is quite sensitive, you have to make adjustments for people like her." However I did not listen to this. I just act the same way with everyone because nobody is "special". I'm sensitive too but I don't ask to be babied. That'd be stupid. That girl is lost in a world of her own and will never know what lies ahead in real world. Oops I misspelled the question. I meant to say Why do some people grow up thinking they will be babied forever? Not whatever I typed into the title |
Question: I don't want to be without her? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:40 PM PDT I'm 22 and through my life I've had a lot of Downs. I never really got along with my family, and a lot of other friends walked away out of my life. but I had a friend Michelle who never walked away she cared about me, I had a picture of us in my room. And when I spoke to her she always had an answer and a solution to help me. I can't see my life without her, my brother called me a freak. Do you think I'm a freak I'm a guy but I don't have feeling for her |
Question: Will putting a bunch of ice cream in an inground pool heard it? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:39 PM PDT I'm a junior in high school and my actions made my life a living hell he's turned all of my friends against me. And he's just been a real jerk to me I've tried to be friends with them and I've tried to be nice but he's always just so ugly and rude and mean to me. I want to get back at him I don't want to hurt his pool and I don't want to hurt any of his property I just want to make a mess so that he has to clean it up. We're putting a bunch of ice cream and a inground pool hurt it? |
Question: Why doesn't he think I care isn't he overreacting ? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:24 PM PDT My guy friend and I made plans to go out to eat today . So I texted him Goodmorning and asked what was he doing and he said he was cleaning up and watching a little tv. Then he texted me and asked "do you still want to hang out today" and I replied "yeah if you do, it doesn't matter" and he texted back "why you say it like that" and I said "how did I say it?" And he said "you said it like you don't care" and I said "I do care you just asked me like I changed my mind or something lol" |
Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:13 PM PDT Basically this girl doesn't like anyone but me, she lives for drama and argues with everyone. I myself through our primary have had a lot of friends (this was before I met her) and then when I got to high school and became friends with her people stopped wanting to be around me when she was there. She sticks to me like glue and tbh she's pretty obsessed over me everything I do she does, she doesn't make her own decisions she just follows mine, in fact a few people including my own mum thinks that she's gay for me that's how obsessive she is. All she does it ***** about everyone and is constantly trying to get me to fall out with people she knows how to wind me up. No one gets a long with her or likes her and she doesn't like me having other friends so because she gets so jealous I can't go out with anyone else but her without hearing **** like "why wasn't I invited" I can't have a group of friends I had one , but she's caused an argument between us all and then turned her back as If it's nothing to do with her. It's something I've noticed she starts an argument brings me into it and then backs out. What should I do? Be friends with her or not because there's really no inbetweeen. |
Question: Mom thinks I am antisocial (even put me in a social skills group)? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:11 PM PDT So here's the deal. I have been laying low on the radar because my friends have been working day and night (I'm 16) and my mom thinks that I only have those two friends. The thing is, I'm FAR from antisocial. I invited people over my house when my mom was gone, and they brought an eighth of weed. At this point, my mom has given up on trying to make me quit doing it. I have ADHD, so it helps a LOT to calm me down. And Monday, I left with a few friends to smoke B&M's because I ended up skipping to avoid being once again lectured on some meditation hippie bullshit by one of my teachers, who gets so pent out of shape, she flips **** over a lost puzzle piece. My mom is completely aware of my style of "hanging out" with friends, but why does she think I need a social skills group? It's currently 4:10 PM in Ohio, USA, and I leave for the group starts at 5:30. I've told her multiple times that I have friends, and she still ponders me about not having social skills. |
Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:10 PM PDT Ok first off we all know some people are more sensitive than others, some are wimpy or cry about silly things. Ok we know that. But being sensitive is something you kind of have to cope with yourself, and learn ways to deal with and try controlling yourself correct? Sorry to admit this but that's your problem not other people's, Especially as you get older, out there in the real world life can get tough and it's not always happily ever after. At my school, we are almost in high school (Grade 7/8 split class) there's this girl in our class, let's call her Sarah. Sarah acts younger than most people at this age, likes talking about Barbie, doesn't really have any friends at all she she hangs out with with regularly, just plays "pretend games" and imagines she's talking to characters, and is very fond of a teacher she always chats to. Now, this girl isn't very aware of when to be serious, in the school choir she asked to leave choirs for the day early once, doesn't usually stay in the proper standing position for choir singing, and once I even caught her sitting on the floor when the choir conductors were speaking to the choir. She complains she's tired of standing, but nobody else is daft enough to complain about that. Also we were standing for less than 10 minutes. She doesn't seem to pay attention to important stuff either. Just yesterday the choir conductors told us all to bring $10 for the field trip. I was telling this to a friend who was away the previous day. Then just today at morning recess Sarah came and said "What? We have to pay for that?" But she was there when the choir conducts said it. They probably repeated it like 6 times. Also one time a teacher just finished explaining a big projectSarah was asking people "What do we have to do?". I know sometimes sensitive people cry because of silly reasons. However, You cannot just act like the world should change for you and everyone should treat you differently or better like you're a 5 year old or a princess, right? Being sensitive is ok but you can't expect to be treated more special than anyone else Being sensitive is ok but you can't expect to be treated more special than any other human being or lost in your own little wonderland. I'm not talking about disabled people. I'll help them out if they can't do something because of disability but I'm not going to treat them like a special little 5 year old. Just today our teacher was telling us Sarah is sensitive so we have to make adjustments for people like her. I'm not going to do that because I treat everyone the same, Sarah is not special And no, Sarah is not disabled in any way. She just thinks she's in her own little wonderland imagination and the world should come to her. Now even our teacher was telling people to make adjustments for her and Ill beg the teacher now expects us to talk to her like we're talking to someone who's like 7 years old. But nobody is going to because she's not more special than any of us. And no, Sarah is not disabled in any way. I'm sensitive too but I don't expect to be treated like a grade 2 student. If a person is disable don't I'll help them with what they can't do alone but I won't treat them like they're the queen or soemthing. |
Question: My friend is lowkey avoiding me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 01:09 PM PDT after I came back winter break I noticed me & my friend of 1st semesters dynamic totally changed. We used to go out every weekend and have fun. She is the kind of person who thrives on being really impulsive & living wildly. She also can sometimes be very rude to me and our other friends but nonetheless she's a pretty okay friend minus some things. Lately, she's been really mean and I've taken a step back from that energy and gotten closer to our other friend. Side note: the girl who was my close friend last semester has this thing where she never wanted me to hang out with our other friend without her, have fun without her and generally do things without her lest we "become friends because the only reason we are friends is because of her". Like i said she can sometimes be a little much but she was my first friend and Im pretty loyal. So just today I finally asked her if she had a problem w me because we hadn't seen or hung out with each other for a couple of weeks and she proceeded to tell me that we weren't into the same things and that I wasn't putting effort into the friendship at all and was "letting it be" for now. I have a pretty heavy course load this semester and I sleep a lot because im always so exhausted and Im in no way denouncing her course load but like i said she thrives on attention. I don't know what to do. I proposed a movie night but our other friends were busy and it seems like she doesnt want to hang out w me alone. What should I do? |

Question: Will we ever be friends again? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 12:17 PM PDT I had a really great friend at work. We are both married and in our 30's at a job where most people are single in their early 20's. We regularly hung outside of work and our kids were good friends. They're both kind of weird kids and they could be weird together. About a year into our friendship, I developed a crush on my friend and told her. She didn't speak to me for a month, but came back saying she was in love with me. Things never progressed to anything physical, but my husband greatly dissapproved of the friendship. One night I lied saying I was going to see another friend when I was going to have a drink with her. I got caught and both she and my husband were furious. My husband sent my friend a hateful email. She forwarded it to me saying things were out of hand, called me a sociopath, and said she would never speak to me again. We still work together. She has not spoken to me in a month and I have not tried to speak to her. Is there any way to ever fix this? I know I made poor choices, but I miss her and my kid misses her friend. |
Question: I m being made fun of for being a virgin and not doing drugs? (Age 14-15)? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 12:05 PM PDT I hate being surrounded by trashy people all the time. Question: What can I do to make them stop making fun of me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 11:53 AM PDT I'm a young guy at 19 years old and I have grown a moustache cause I like it and people says that it fits me. However I have those 3 friends who keeps making fun of it, keeps calling me a pedophile and say that I look like one. I'm so tired of them commenting on it, and I told them to stop thousand of times. They just don't get it. What can I do to make them stop? - I don't want to change cause of some dumb comments from them. |
Question: How can I make things right with my former best friend? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 11:51 AM PDT I had a really good friend at work. We started hanging out outside of work. Our kids became great friends. Over time, I developed a crush on her. We are both married. After four months of crushing, I brought it up with her saying I knew nothing would ever happen and shouldn't happen, but I had to say it. She didn't speak to me for about a month after until she came back saying she was in love with me. We never let things develop past the fact that we both loved each other. We continued to hang out regularly, but it never progressed to anything physical. My spouse was understandably uneasy about the closeness of our friendship and made it clear he did not like my friend. One night, I lied to my husband that I was going to hang out with another friend when I was really going to hang out with her knowing he did not approve of the friendship. I know lying is wrong. He found out and sent my friend a hate filled email while I was at work after looking up her email on the kids' school contact list. She forwarded me the email, told me the situation was out of hand, I was a sociopath, and she could never speak to me again. Mind you, we still work together and our kids are still friends. Is there anything I can ever do to make things right? My husband has forgiven me, but I don't think she ever will. |
Posted: 06 Apr 2017 11:37 AM PDT My best friend friend jasmine (we are both 22) used to like my photos all at once, all the time. She would over load up my notifications to 10+, at randomm times and it would put a smile on my face. Now she's gotten very busy that she hardly does it anymore. I know media isn't a number one priority. We live long distance away from each other, so aside from texting, the media is how we kind of have our daily interaction. I don't feel special anymore, like those little things she did made me feel. What if we are distancing? Should I worry? |
Question: Isn't he overreacting over a text message? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 11:25 AM PDT My guy friend and I made plans to go out to eat today .
Question: How can I get friends? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 11:10 AM PDT Hey. So I dont really have friends anymore. I used to have 2 close friends, but they all suddenly changed and started hanging out with people I didn't know and they started drinking and trying to get girlfriends all the time. I talk to them, but that's very rare and I don't really feel the bond we used to have. We've all gone our separate ways I feel. I'm 18 years old and work as a car mechanic. Im really into cars and i spend a few times working on my car in the workshop if its open and I can drive for 3 hours just enjoying the moment and it really makes me forget about my problems. In the weekdays i just watch Youtube and movies or read different things. That's all I do, lol and I enjoy it. But I miss having someone to talk to and have that bond. My parents are very strict and over protecting me, so I think that may be the reason I don't have friends. I really miss when I was 10-15 years old and I had so many friends. Now I don't know how my life is going to be, I'm so lonely. The good thing is that it's not making me depressed. I enjoy being by myself alot, but Ive gotten too comfortable with it. I'm very shy and I feel uncomfortable talking to random people. But I've really tried! Any advice thanks! |
Question: My best friend is a 27 year old guy and I'm only 15, help.? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 10:52 AM PDT So I play video games all the time and I ran into this guy. We started talking and we ended up becoming really good friends. I didn't know how old he was and he didn't know how old I was. After becoming really good friends, I realized we didn't even know each other's ages. After telling him I was only 15 he was obviously slightly freaked out and worried about how weird this was and so was I. I know he doesn't have any weird intentions or anything and he really does see me as just a good friend. I just really don't know what to do. I don't want to lose this friend because of the age difference but at the same time I don't want people thinking he's trying to take advantage of me or something. We were good friends before he even knew how old I was, its not like he was purposely trying to find a young girl to become friends with. This is just a weird situation I never thought I'd be in and I just kind of need advice. Like, is this too weird? Should we not be friends? Any advice/help would be really appreciated. |
Question: Will he still want to have sex with me? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 10:48 AM PDT It has been almost a year since I last saw him. We have met a couple of times now. About a month ago he sent me explicit pictures of himself. He knows that I want to visit him again. I actually told him I would be in two months. Though I can't visit him until July. Will he still like and want to have sex with me? |

Question: To text him or not to text him? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 10:00 AM PDT First off, I am 20 years old, in college, never been in a serious relationship. I have terrible luck with guys but I feel like I may have found someone VERY decent. I just started talking to a guy who goes to the same school as me. He lives in the building right next to me, so we are able to see each other whenever. We hung out for the first time this past weekend, everything was great. We talked, got to know each other a little better, then cuddled and watched some TV. Nothing major. After hanging out that day, he texted me and we talked for a little. He is not the best texter, not gonna lie. So then Monday, he texted me later in the day, once again talked for a little. Tuesday, I contacted him. He asked to go grab some dinner together on campus, so we did that and then hung out until he had to go to class. Once again, everything went great. He told me to text him during his class because it was a dreaded 3 hr long one, so I did. Yesterday, we did not talk at all, and today I have not heard from him as of yet. He's had very bad past relationships, so I know he wants to take things slow. He told me he feels like he's known me for so much longer than he has, said I give him a good vibe, and said he wanted to hang out again sometime this week when he left on Tuesday. If I don't hear from him in a few hours, should I ask if he wants to go grab dinner with me again? Or should I keep waiting? I HATE the beginning stages because I never know when to text and when not to. I am a HUGE overthinker when it comes to this stuff. Obviously I don't want to come off as clingy/desperate, but I do love spending time with him. |

Question: Should I end a friendship of 8 years? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 09:18 AM PDT My best friend of 8 years really hurt me badly by forgetting my birthday. Ever year on hers I send her flowers (we live in other states) and her favorite candy. For the past two years she hasn't gotten me anything and this year hit home. I turned 30 and she completely forgot. I don't even feel like we're friends she said its because she has to remember so many birthdays her husband's and their kids but IDK what to do. I have four nieces and nephews and I remember all their birthdays. What should I do? We haven't spoken in about a week. |

Question: Could someone correct the grammar mistake in this text? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 07:54 AM PDT The problem Begins when the bedroom is too dark. and you think what you've done for being so lonely, and you remember everytime you asked God to be alone. Alone? i mean far away from all the Wickedness. But not without kindness. to be alone is good, but isn't when the only voice you hear is from the television. To be alone is good, but not when this is the only option. so people become uninteresting, so empyty and with no sense. Sometimes is better get drunk in the dawn, because the muffled voice against the pillow, and it makes you pour it out tears of sadness and fear. It was what i choose. Dont get a calling? dont have no one flerting on me? I feel alone, but, how many peoples dont feel like that? i feel alone, and it was what i asked. I should send a menssage to the universe, and say i would like to have the converse. Even knowing it is just a winter, in the hell of this lonely life. No one hears me no one calls me i've become an statue, a book that was not Sculpted that no one even read |

Question: My Friends are taking advantage of me because I have Autism? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 07:25 AM PDT My friends know I have Autism and they try and get me to buy them stuff and do stuff for them. I am 13 years old and my friends make me buy them things like: sweets, coca cola and other things. |
Question: Friend trying to hangout with me when I m sick? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 07:06 AM PDT This morning i woke up feeling like crap and I realized I ve gotten messages from my friend, her asking me to hangout. So I told her I don t feel good and she said so do I, just wait it out I have stuff to tell you. Do you find this rude at all? She s always telling me when to hangout. When she wants to hangout she just says "come hangout with me at the mall today," not "would you wanna hangout today?" I don t know. She wants to hangout with me whenever stuff in her life is happening and she needs someone to tell, not when she just wants to hangout with me. |
Question: Are we distancing, is it worth being worried about ? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 07:03 AM PDT My best friend friend jasmine (we are both 22) used to like my photos all at once, all the time. She would over load up my notifications to 10+, at random times and it would put a smile on my face. Now she's gotten very busy that she hardly does it anymore. Question: Do I have to tell her? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 06:53 AM PDT A close friend wants me to be her "date" to a work function. She just started a job at a new company and it's a mixer type even and she just wants me to go to keep her company. I'm free that particular night and I have a suit I never wear so I kind of want to go for the hell of it, I'm just not sure of whether to tell my girlfriend. To start off, she doesn't like this particular friend, I don't know why she just hasn't . I think she gets jealous but it's only with her. I'm pretty open with my girlfriend and to date I have never kept anything from her or lied to her so I'm on the fence about letting her know. I just don't want to deal with any drama but I also don't want to feel like I'm lying or something. Should I tell her, or am I just over thinking it? |
Question: Is this jealousy in friendships? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 06:44 AM PDT Im not going to be very specific about the details because I don't want to reveal my life or for someone to find out im talking about them. Anyways I feel like my friend is jealous of me. I started noticing her lying a lot, she would say something then contradict herself a few days later.. the things she tends to lie about are mostly having to do with me. For example, I can say I want (a honda car) and she would say oh my other friend has the car you want but then turns out the friend didnt have the car i wanted she lied. She also lied about how much shes getting paid, and about her buying a car all full in cash, turns out she was making monthly payments. She knows my mom makes high income so she tries to say someone else makes higher income too. Idk is stupid but she lies a lot. Im in college and shes not, my other friend says it's probably jealousy to try to make me feel bad. Idk what to do because i want to be more detailed on this but i can not |
Question: Is it rude not replying to her texts? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 06:41 AM PDT We had been friends since aug and ended up getting really close. She initially started flirting with me and I told her how I felt back in dec. At the time she told me she felt the same way but was scared of getting hurt since her last three relationships endedwith her getting cheated on. She instead suggested we hookup which I had to turn down because I wanted more out of it. She kept suggesting it and when I agreed to it, she backed out citing our friendship. She kept leading me on for months and suddenly out of nowhere she claims that she always only saw me as a friend and nothing more. I started to distance myself from her and I also ended our friendship momentarily before she apologized. I forgave her since I have moved on and have started to like someone else now. She has started to flirt with me again and she keeps texting me about school, asking about things which she already knows about or tries to talk about other things as well. I barely reply to her texts though and even when I do it is only when she asks me about school work and stuff. I do feel like I am being rude by not replying but at the same time I have made it clear to her that our friendship wont ever be the same again so I dont know why she keeps bothering |
Question: Why are these people being this way? Posted: 06 Apr 2017 06:29 AM PDT I went to a town where everyone proclaims to be 'decent' and the area has less crime. However the people wouldn't know you at all, but snub you make fun of you or bully you over the way you look talk and act. They have an intolerant towards anyone who is different and pick fights with you over the way you look talk and act also. They will accuse me of being different, accuse me of being on drugs because I am just all myself with everyone, note (everyone out here seems to dress the same, talk the same way and act the same way) I would tell them that I am not from around here and they would ask where I am from and they would suggest me to go back where I come from. each and everyone out here has a truckload of friends and followers and tends to bully or harass people who don't have any friends or who are ugly are different. They tend to be picky on the way you look talk and act if they want to be friends with you, the usually want to be friends with people that are from the same elite. I'm judged as being different, nerdy or gay out here and am a ghost out here, even in the churches. Why are these people like this and what should I do? |

We have been through a lot of similar stuff in the past and bonded over it it. The last time i talked with her was over a week ago, she told me some really dark stuff, the next day she said she was really sick and i haven t heard from her since.i of course have reached out to her but still no response. Should i just give up and move on? I felt like she and i really clicked and she said she needed me in her life but now im wondering if she is just not wanting to be friends. |
