Question: How to get intimacy with husband after baby? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 09:37 PM PST My husband and I just had our first child (a boy) and we are both adjusting well and my husband is such a good father!! And, this is not a huge deal (more of a personal thing I guess) and I'm not necessarily mad at him about it just wondering how to approach the issue or maybe I'm just beig rediculous. So, naturally sex is off the table until I'm cleared after my six week check-up so I don't expect it nor really want to go all the way just yet. But, I feel like since the baby has been born our intimacy has just halted heck it was even at a stand still during my last trimester. I have to ask my husband to kiss me (more than a peck on the lips). We spend all our time with the baby and he has been returned to work so I'm at home alone for hours. I love my son and he is my top priority but I'm scared that if the relationship between patents lacks couple time (when baby sleeps) then it will fizzle out. I even looked up ways I can please him (it's only right and I want him happy). I talked to him about "fooling around" like we used to before we DTD while dating. But he isn't interested bc it won't lead to sex which is hurtful. Also, my birthday just passed (the big 26 :p) and all I got was a happy birthday no offer to go on a planned date Idk, I'm very affectionate and I know he loves me it's I don't want us to well..forget about us. I guess I'm feeling a bit neglected to some extent. Has any other mom had this issue? What did u do about it? Please be nice in ur answers |

Question: Will my wife have to lose her medi-cal because I got a new job? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 09:01 PM PST Before we were married, my wife had medi-cal health insurance as she made no money. After our marriage, I got a new job to where I'll be making $70,000 a year. My company does offer a health insurance plan, but it's a whopping $500 a month for both me and my wife. If I had the plan alone, it's only $87 a month. Can I just get the plan as an individual and not include my wife? We do file joint tax returns and my wife makes zero income. |
Question: Why would he let his wife meet me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 08:12 PM PST I've been struggling to get over this affair for a few years. We are both married but are in love with each other. We've never slept with each other. Just the emotional ties are very strong and we've been intimate in other ways. We both have families and I know affairs are the worst. I finally put an end to it and I know he was miserable. Recently after 6 months of not seeing each other or talking , I ran into him at a work event where he brought his wife. I was alone for the work event. When he saw me he couldn't stop looking at me. I completely pretended like I didn't know him. I saw him yet wouldn't even give him a second of my attention. He ended up walking up to me with his wife and introduced her to me. I was shocked as I didn't think he would ever do this. Why do you think he did this? I'm just so confused. What are your thoughts? And if you still care for someone would you do this ? I just know how strong our feelings are and seems like they are still all there. But I've made a determination to end the affair as I don't want it to ruin our lives just like all affairs. Please offer my your opinion. |

Question: Why is it so common for someone to sleep with someone who is married? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 07:08 PM PST And I don't mean open relationship, I mean where the other is cheating and your relations have to be hidden. Why would you involve yourself in that? Is there no respect for someone's relationship? It seems desperate, as there are so many single people to sleep with. |

Question: What do you think of these age differences?!? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:37 PM PST Hugh Hefner married Crystal Harris and is 60 years her senior( she is 30, he is 90) Jeff Goldblum married Emille Livingston and is 31 years her senior( he is 64 she is 33) Harrison ford married Calista fockhart and is 22 years her senior( he is 74 she is 52) I think the most surprising is the 60 year age gap...why, just why? A 22/23 year age gap would be a better alternative!! |
Question: Can I move out of state with joint custody of our two kids? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:48 PM PST I remember MY own parents used to do this with me, just before and during divorcing. So I'm appalled when people deny that this never happen in divorces. g- "It happens all the time unfortunately. Its called parental alienation." -- So parents are manipulating their children's loyalty,.. using them as pawn in their game & pitting them against the other parent? Wow. Nasty mind game. I remember in grade school kids used to pressure you to dump certain people,.. simply because THEY don't like them, and they threaten to dump YOU if you still friend those other kids. |
Question: Is it considered emotional abuse if your spouse loses their cool? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:44 PM PST I don't mean physically however if you try to discuss something with your significant other they get extremely defensive and begin to yell at you and talk over you and play the victim even if you have caught them doing something very odd. |
Question: Can he win this custody fight? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:12 PM PST My soon to be ex and I are going through a divorce in Texas. He s a closet alcoholic who doesn t have any arrests or anything but definitely has a problem and I can t trust him not to drink around our child with unsupervised weekends. I ve asked for the step up visitation which involves the parent proving they can care for the child by doing supervised and working up to their unsupervised weekends. He thinks he has no problem and is fighting it. Since I don t have any solid evidence, and I no longer am around when he s drinking, I don t know if he can win that fight and I m worried. I ve been our sons some caretaker. He s 1 and I m the one whose done the work, my ex just worked, came home and slept or drank or played video games. I m just worried he can convince the judge he has no problem. Are they likely to do that or since my sons so young should they side with me?? Any advice helps. My lawyer said we d bring it up in court that he drinks but that it s ultimately up to the judge. Anyone that may have experience or knowledge with Texas courts is greatly appreciated. |
Question: How can I make my son marriable? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:44 PM PST I'm an Indian man, and our son has finally come to his sense and has agreed to marry a girl we choose for him. Arranged marriages are purely out if convenience. Many people think that it's a backward and stupid tradition, but I actully think it's more advanced. Unlike many other cultures, we don't believe in soulmates or love at first sight. Marriage is simply to create a union and produce children. Also, it's exactly like a dating website kids use. You see, the bride or groom lists down specific attributes they want in a partner, and after narrowing it down, you talk to potential candidates, text them and maybe even go on dates. It's basically dating! Anyhow, my son, while very handsome, has gotten a reputation as a player. For one, he's had girlfriend's before, and that's considered bad. He also drinks, which is considered unholy. He also lives in the US and won't even consider moving back. He has a reputation for dating white girls, and he even brought a girlfriend with us when we were visiting his grandparents. They live in a small town, and they saw him kissing her . Because of this, girls are reluctant to marry him. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:36 PM PST I am absolutely miserablet, the silence, never being able to be a Dad, laugh, love, teach..None of those are a option. I really don't want to get lost in a bottle or a pack of smokes. Nobody calls me anymore, maybe I'm to miserable of a guy. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:12 PM PST They have a child together. She had cheated and they had separated. He moved back in while we were dating and I broke up with him. He says he wants to be with his child and it is temporary while he arranges another school for the kid close to where he works and wants to live, and that they do not have a physical relationship with his ex. I don't want to be with him any more due to all these but I am taking all of this pretty hard. I was never in such a situation before. Why does this get to me so much? |
Question: How can someone cheat on their spouse if they love them? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:42 PM PST I do truly believe that it is possible for a person to love two people at the same time, romantically. I think a man can love his wife and his mistress, and the same for a woman. But what I don't understand is, IF a person loves their spouse, how can they cheat on them? Cheating is the ultimate betrayal, right? Knowing how much it would hurt their spouse, how can they this to them behind their back? Especially if it's just a matter of not getting enough sex. Honest answers please, I want to try to understand this. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:35 PM PST I heard this on one of my favorite TV shows. These two people had a crush on each other for many years but they could never be together for different reasons. 17 years later they run into each other and they still care for one another just as much if not more, but at this time they are both married. They didn't want to hurt their spouses so decided to part ways, they didn't even kiss or anything. So after the lady suggests that it's better to part their ways, he said "you truly stole my heart since the first time we met", that was the end of the season. English is not my first language and I never heard this before today, please help me understand, because the suspense is driving me nuts. Thanks. |

Question: How do I get over the guilt I feel over losing loved one? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:38 PM PST I've been living with my godmother for 11 years. She's been an instrumental part of my life. Her son recently moved in with her, but never really helped her out as much. He made her whole house filthy. I told him to take his elderly mother's garbage out sometimes because the house has flies etc and we can smell everything because we live upstairs. Yesterday as my husband and I were coming home, we saw the ambulance outside the house. We drove past because I didn't want to make a fuss in front of the son. We drove past again and I asked the son which hospital my godmother was going to because I wanted to visit her and bring her extra clothes. I ended up not going because she had to have surgery and ended up in intensive care. I was getting ready to visit her and her son called and told me she's passed away. I feel so guilty. I feel like if I had gone maybe she would still be here. How do I get over the guilt? |

Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:04 PM PST Why would your spouse complain that you work too much (5 days a week) yet whenever you go out you pay because they are broke and have not enough money. When you do get time off you don't do much because they are usually broke or complaining about money. |

Question: Everyone I knew growing up is engaged, pregnant, or married and I am still single. Advice? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:32 AM PST Most of the girls who bullied me in high school have found a nice good man and I am still single. I am 22. Maybe if I was a size 2 then I would have gotten married like they did. I am still a virgin too. |
Question: Am I not attracted to my husband anymore? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:30 AM PST Kind of a weird question, now sure how else to word it. Initially I wasn't attracted to him when we began dating but just being around him and loving his personality I felt I was, and felt very attracted to him. But nowadays (a couple years later) I just feel so indifferent. I don't have that feeling like "I find him so attractive". I do NOT find him unattractive. Am I bored or something? Thing is I've never felt this way with anyone I've been with. I was with someone prior to him for years and years and never felt this way. Is it that we are both very comfortable? I don't know. I just don't feel that spark of attraction to him. I don't feel "excited" about him. What I feel is something I've not experienced before and just am curious what it means. We both are always with each other for the most part, I don't know if it's that we never get to miss each other. He tells me I'm gorgeous all the time, so I figure he doesn't feel this way. Just curious to some insight. I do miss the excited attracted feeling I used to have. |

Question: Would you feel insecure if? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 05:44 AM PST Your spouse suddenly dwveloped a "work bestfriend" of the oppiset sex??? Why or why not? |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 05:22 AM PST I canceled our divorce and soon as I did found out my husband is still cheating with the same woman. She claimed he went back to me because I'm working and he was destitute and he wanted a life with her but she is waiting on money because she was hurt and could not work and they were supposed to get a place. I work, but at the time really didn't have the $418 to file. I orginally put the divorce on hold this week but something told me just to dismiss it, even though he said it's okay to put it on hold. I feel defeated because I let the holiday get to me and I changed my mind and did everything in a week. This is the second time I dismissed it and I feel ashamed, because the woman was provoked in a public forum by my friend, so the mistress let her know the real truth, plus the woman went on my sister's in-law's page, so all family knows again. He has left again, and she claimed he's not in love with me, and I want a baby, but he wants one with her. He did not come to my defense and the woman says she does not want to play games with us anymore and cares about her health because when he's on the street he hustles and who knows who he sleeps with and what I put up with is my problem. Is there any service, like legal aid that can help with the divorce filing fee. I feel that the court will think I'm a fool as well. Thank you. |
