Mi sono follemente innamorato di questa ragazza, e abbiamo una storia meravigliosa da 3 anni in cui siamo cresciuti insieme tra risa e pianti. I have no problem hugging, kissing, and saying I love you to my pets but then a family member or friend tries to hug me or say I love you and I genuinely hate it. I feel so uncomfortable and awkward. Why is this?

I've loved birds for as long as I can remember and have always wanted one as a pet. But there are a few problems that come with getting one that I need a bit of help with. To start, I have both a cat and dog which might pose quite the problem, specifically with the dog. The main issue lies in the cage placement and the rooms my pets are in. Many people continue to say that you need to keep the bird's cage in a high-traffic room. However, we my dog fully roam the house, well, except for a few: 1. The formal living room, but we don't go there all too often and I have a feeling my parents would not be too pleased with a messy, smelly living room because of a bird, especially when it's basically the only nice room we have in the house. 2. An upstairs bedroom that no longer has one one in it. It's a nice location since my room is right next to it, but no one asides from me would really go in there. Anyway, back to the pets. I've tried looking up ways to introduce the bird to my dog, but my dog is already 6 years old, and you know what they say about not being able to teach old dogs new tricks. But I don't know what to think anymore. And again, socialization is an issue, since it would be MY pet, and I'm gone for school 6 hours a day. The only other person at home is my mom, but I don't know if she'd pay as much attention to it as I would. Sigh, maybe getting a bird isn't such a good idea after all, but...ARRRGGHHH! I just want one so badly!

My girlfriend family is very liberal. For the record I am not that conservative. I just lean conservative and try to see both points of you. Im more of the middle lean right. Most of her family is very nice however he cousins are very liberal and racist in my opinion. They support black lives matter and believe all white people should pay financially for the things they have done in their past generations (like slavery) and generally bash white people. They also believe in government programs I don't agree with. How can I be around them for an entire week (we are going out of town for a family wedding of hers) without losing my mind? I try to ignore them and will but it seems like not a fun time for me. What should I do? Also her cousin who is getting married has never been friendly to me or even said hi to me when I have met him so not sure I want to take a week off of work to go to his wedding and pay the expenses of that trip.

If someone is inviting your to go on vacation with them to their sisters wedding who pays? Their whole family is going including his young kids (5 and 7) who will require a lot of babysitting and care, etc. The last time you took a vacation together your paid for the two of you and were never reimbursed nor offered and it was an actual vacation for the two of you not a family event with other people. Is it now the other persons turn to pay and considering it is their families wedding or should you pay your own way?

I feel like all I do is work. I barely ever see my siblings cause of our schedules. If I do see them it's a few hours. I hardly see my boyfriend and friends cause of work. I don't have time to do much cause I'm too tired or I need to clean. The only people I see all the time is the ones I work with. I kinda feel alone in this.

Do normal (immature but normal) boys 'hover' when it comes to dating in response to a threat of no contact? Or is this only a trait of narcisistic - borderline personality disorder? By hovering I mean periods of silence and ignoring (cold shoulder - silent treatment) while simultaneously running into me on a daily basis at places I often frequent, and leaving 'pocket' voicemails.

So I've been friends with this guy for 4 years. He was the one who initiated sexual conversation, but then when I tried to initiate flirting he meanly rejected me. Saying "you won't get anything from me". I asked for a friendship break until finals end because he is stressing me out way too much for me to concentrate properly on finals. Currently he won't text me back but I keep seeing him places I go and I have this sense he's following me. He "pocket called" me leaving a 40 second voicemail of random background noise, but he has me blocked. I believe this is a form of what they call "hovering". Am I overthinking this? Is he just 'playing games'? Are these normal control tactics in today's dating scene? Or does he have a personality disorder? He has never had a girlfriend, spends a lot of time alone, and per his brother he watched his father die in his arms when he was like 15. He also used cocaine sometimes. Is this just a side effect of the drugs? The highs and lows of the comedown - euphoria of cocaine use? The reason I'm asking is because if he has borderline personality disorder I can handle that and I will continue being his friend unless it becomes too much, but if he has narcicistic personality disorder, I need to walk away.

There's this super quiet girl in my class who doesn't talk much. She always sits at her desk with her friend who is also pretty shy but to other people she rarely ever says a word. If you try talking to her she will answer but you can see she is clearly not comfortable with speaking. So today the teacher assigned groups and I got into a group with her and a few other students. I already knew she wouldn't really participate in group discussions and that stuff because she never does when we have to work in groups. We had to read a text about the American voting system, figure out some problems/disadvantages of it and discuss how they could be solved. In the end one or multiple members of the group had to present our results in front of the class (the group decided who would do it). Well we were trying to find some solutions and this girl said nothing the whole time. Since it's well-known that presentations are a nightmare for her I wanted to tease her a bit and said "Hey (her name), maybe you can also say something now or I'm gonna tell the teacher that you are going to present our findings alone!". She just looked down and started crying... I really didn't expect this to happen. Why did she start crying, I mean obivously I was just joking. I apologized to her immediately and said that I meant it as a joke but I still feel so bad for making her cry. What should I do now?

What's up everyone So today I went to work expecting a wright up because yesterday I did a no call no show. I didn't even bother to call in because every time I do they tell me, "sorry dude you have to come in." So why even try? I've never missed a day of work while working there. I end up coming in anyway even if I feel like crap. Yesterday, there was no chance of going in. I felt like ****! So today I have a private meeting with one of the lower bosses to get a wright up. This guy is new and young so he's trying to flex his new power by talking to me in a harsh and yelling type manner. I told him calm down but he kept going so I just kinda smiled and not took it seriously. He even told me to wipe that smile off my face and I replied, "its kinda my job to smile." This summer I was overwhelmed with joy after becoming pregnant. My boyfriend and I had been trying for a year, & Now our little one is on the way. The horrifying truth is I was sexually assaulted after I stayed in a motel after a small fight my boyfriend and I had and I, like many others, did not find the courage to tell anyone. I was horrified and traumatized.This is difficult to open up about as it brings back horrifying memories. I got my first sonogram at what I believed was 9 wks, to my surprise it read 11 wks 3 days. So my fear of the motel incident was no longer in my head & the baby is my significant others. A month ago the sonogram read different and it turns out Im not as far along as we initially thought. I asked them when they believed conception was, they determined the most probable conception date was within a 9 day period, in which I was with my boyfriend and the assault occurred. My boyfriend was open to keeping the child regardless but did not know the man who sexually assaulted me was colored. We are both white. We are afraid since we told everyone about the baby they will think I cheated & we will have explain what happened. How will I love my son and forget the horrific incident? If we have a biological baby next will we love them more? He may even leave me as he's afraid he will not be able to love the baby as much and it will cause too much pain. There is still a chance its his, but I am confused & feel like a bad mother for these thoughts. Please help
