We dated from Oct 2017 to March 2020. I am now 18 soon turning 19 and he is turning 20. I know everyone will probably say "you're so young, you have so much life ahead of you" but I really need someone to listen that what we had was special and different. We definitely have had our fair share of disagreements throughout those 2 1/2 years but the good times were so good. We broke up at the end of March. At first it was kind of mutual. However, going the past month without him has taught me so much. I have learned so much as a person and realized all that I had done wrong throughout our relationship. I realized I didn't want to do life without him, any doubts I was having were all cleared up. I wish I could get into it more but there's only so much space. Basically we both still love each other, care about each other more than anything but he is no longer "in love" with me. He says "He doesn't believe we are meant to be as the people we are right now." I still love him so much, more than ever because I have realized how much he truly means to me. I want him back, I'd do anything and I have tried everything but he is set on his decision. I respect it and understand it but I am broken. Especially during quarantine now, there is so escaping how I feel. I am at my lowest point. |
