Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:58 PM PST Me and my best friend had one of the worst arguments we've had in our 4 years of friendship last week and I messaged her earlier to apologise and she said it didn't seem genuine when it was and she said it doesn't feel right to make up and we need space but I feel like "space" will make us lose our friendship. We was so so close, closer than you can imagine and we was the best of friends so it hurts. What should I do? Thanks x |
Question: My friends (in their early to mid 20's) were bullying a 13 year old girl online? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:53 PM PST I have a group of friends, 90% of the time ilove them, they're the closest I've ever had, but when we were all playing minecraft in a party, just having fun and screwing around and this 13 year old girl joined through community tab or something (not really sure)and they were just being absolute pieces of crap, some were just jokes but they just seemed to go overboard (btw, we are all in our mid 20's)I won't go into too many details, but everything from "stop sucking guys off" to "will you marry me"and she even asked them to stop being inappropriate and said they were stresing her out, but they kept going until she left Just made me super uncomfortable and made me question a lot I even sent her a message after to ask if she was ok and to apologize for them, tried to let her know they were joking around, she basically said she was fine but they probably weren't joking and that they were emotionally abusing her I couldnt' even bring myself to leave until she did, just in case i felt the need to step in am i being too sensitive here? ps, sorry for any bad writing, I'm sick and tired and annoyed She went back on, for some reason They were worse, The girl told her "if life is so bad jump off a cliff" She said stuff about self hate and people like this is why she hates life and one said "deep as my knife" and "plays sad music on background" She said this is was emotional abuse and one said "by us or your daddy" This seems really messed up and and I'm really bothered by this |

Question: How do i tell my best friend I like him? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:37 PM PST Hi! I am 16 and my best friend is 16. I want to tell him I have feelings for him... His brother is my other best friend AND my girl best friend used to date my best friend so lots of relationships could change if I became a thing with him. My question is how should I do it? I cant do it in person really because my best friend and his brother live an hour away so I only see them once a month and when I do, my best friends brother always come to see me too. Thanks:) |
Question: I'm meeting this guy in person who I met online? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:32 PM PST I've been talking to this guy online for almost a year. I'm meeting up with him this Friday he lives in another state we are four hours away. I'm getting there at 10:40 PM on Friday. And I'm leaving at 4:00 PM Sunday. Do you think this would be enough time for us to talk and get to know each other? Yes I know I have to be careful meeting people online. |
Question: Should I risk staying out of town another day? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 05:15 PM PST I'm in my 30's and I still live with my parents. Yes I know I should have moved out by now. But I'm working on it I recently finished school once I pass my exam I'm going to move out. I've been talking to this guy online for almost a year now. He and I live in different states I'm in Michigan he's in Chicago. We are meeting for the first time on Friday. I won't get to Chicago until 10:00 PM and then there is another hour to get to his place. And I'll be leaving Sunday evening. My parents don't know I'm going out of town. I told them I'm going to a Spa resort with my friend. If I stay too long they might figure out I'm out of town. They are going out of town on Friday and coming back Saturday night. I plan to tell them I'll be back on Sunday evening but I really want to stay until Monday. |
Question: Why does ignoring people make me feel happy? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 03:45 PM PST I don't know why but recently I've been ghosting everyone and it's felt really nice. I feel like all of the social worries and anxieties have been lifted. I kind of feel bad because my friend IRL told me someone thought I hated them and was ignoring them when I actually just uninstalled the app we used to talk. It feels so liberating and mentally soothing to just ignore everyone though, why? |
Posted: 03 Feb 2020 03:26 PM PST So I have a friend that everytime he gets a girlfriend he disappears. So thing is,since about a month he has this new gf and he just dropped off the earth. It bothers me because before he met her he just texted me to hang out often. Now I get it that he wants to spend all the time with her but if he valued our friendship he would have some time. Hell,we all are busy but if you wanna have time for something important, you find it. Obviously I'm not. What bothers me is that he told me few days ago that he texted me that he doesn't want to go out at night now and he prefers staying home whereas until a month ago he would ALWAYS text me to go out on a saturday night. I'm living my life as usual but it bothers me if I think about it,especially because when I had a girlfriend I would always find time for friends. What would you do? I don't wanna contact him any further because it seems that I'm needy. I'm done chasing people.. also, shouldn't REAL friends once in a while include you with their significant others? I mean I know lots of people do that aswell.. |
Question: How do I stop being that friend who is always broke? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:20 PM PST Besides de obvious you get a job . should i cut leisure entertainment if I cant even afford a coffee |
Question: Would this be enough time for us to get to know each other and have sex? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 01:42 PM PST I met this guy online almost a year ago. We are finally meeting in person on Friday. I live in Michigan and he lives in Chicago. I'll get to Chicago late on Friday at 10:40 PM. And it's an hour ride to his place. And I'll be leaving Sunday at 5:00 PM would that be enough time for us to get to know each other? Or should I stay an extra day? Obviously I know we won't learn everything about each other. But I think It's nice that we are finally seeing each other and being physical. |
Question: I'm meeting this guy should I stay with him longer? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 01:09 PM PST I met this guy online almost a year ago. We are finally meeting in person on Friday. Question: Do men take the time to write *just* friendship letters to women? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:41 AM PST I got a heartfelt note from a close male friend of mine - shortly after he found out I was moving. It was not necessarily confessional about loving me, but it definitely was sentimental, had genuine compliments/emotion towards me, and made me tear up. It was a letter of appreciation and love, but not a direct confession or anything. Still requires courage and vulnerability to write something really thoughtful though. My question is - can this be purely a friendship letter? I have never heard of men taking the time to write a woman a letter unless it is a love letter. |
Question: [Serious] How can you deal with the fact that the end of your world is near? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:21 AM PST I've got nobody to confide in as I have no friends. I'm very shy so I can't talk well with strangers. Do I even need to communicate with people? Or can I just walk into this situation like it's nothing since it's the end anyway. |
Question: How can I warn my friend of her actions without upsetting her? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 08:43 AM PST My friend got invited to a pool party by some popular students she met from a club at her college. She tells me that she is really excited about it as the day of the party will be a hot day and perfect to go swimming. She also said that she already sent some song requests to the DJ who would be at the party. She added the fact that since it is a hot day at the party, she is psyched to be to dance while wearing her bikini when her requested songs play as she has never danced in a bikini before. I feel some concern when she said this. As it is a college party, a lot of people would most likely attend. In that case, I feel that she would draw some unwanted attention to the guys at the party as she said she will likely be dancing in her bikini. I feel that guys at the party would likely record or take pictures of her while dancing and post the content online for their benefit. As my friend is so excited, I do not feel she sees this consequence. However, if I tell her about it, I feel that I might be ruining the fun for her. How can I warn and help her about this situation without upsetting her? |
Question: Am I fearful for no reason? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:27 AM PST I have worked at a company for 7 years. The last 3 years for a terrible boss. He hit on all the female employees married or not. He often made us work through our lunch hour. We had a big party to celebrate his leaving (after he left). Everyone was happy to get a new boss. However my happiness turned to tears when I found out who the new boss was. It was a guy who had asked me for dates in high school and I turned him down every time. I just knew he would fire me to get back for turning him down for dates. For the first month I worked for him, I lived in fear every day that he would fire me. However he never said a word about us going to high school together. It appeared he did not remember me and what I did to him. Perhaps because I am using my married name now. My close friend Jill thinks he is just a nice guy that remembers but does not want to embarrass me by saying anything about our past. Everyone thinks and I agree he is a great boss. He is giving us all training so we can get a raise and promotion. For those of us that have kids, he will cover for us when we have to go to a school event or when we have doctor's appointment for our kids. My coworkers just adore him as their boss. I still have the fear that one day he will remember me and fire me. Am I fearful for no reason? Should I mention our past to him or just forget it and move on? |
Question: In friends why ursula hates phoebe? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:24 AM PST |
Question: What means if your best friend treat you like trash? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 07:23 AM PST Well she is suppose to be my best friend but she hates very much when i feel confidence and she always tries to put me down and convince me that i am ugly also What is her problem?? i cant understand.... I am always nice to her |
Question: Would your ex text you for 7hrs straight if he didn't have feelings for you? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 06:40 AM PST We texted for 7hrs recently and he did mention about his crush and also called my best friend hot. Does he still like me and is trying to make me jealous? |
Question: How do I deal with rude behavior against my mom? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 06:16 AM PST How do I deal with this. It's honestly so hard to live with a hot mom. My mom came to my school and one of my friends whispered that he would F my mom . I was like ok bro but it was so weird and my other friend wants my mom's number 24/7. |
Posted: 02 Feb 2020 10:32 PM PST I want friends but no one wants to be my friend. The only people who give me the time of day are people who want to be romantic or partnered with me. I don't want to date anyone because I have attachment issues and every single best friend I have had our relationship has last 6-8 years and then ended. And love relationships are too emotionally taxing. I like commitment but no one truly offers that. There will always be a word I can say or an action I do that will insult them somehow. And it isn't even me. It's just people they are unpredictable. I need to socialize but I am finding that my family is very abusive and I am running out of options. I don't need to spend money on a therapist or psychiatrist. I've seen them both and this is a different type of situation. Maybe a life coach. Thank you |
Question: How do I tell people my mom died? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:29 PM PST to say the most with the least amount of words: my mom has a big presence in our community. as her health has gotten worse and she is now dying we as a family have started becoming more private, this means that most people don't know she's dying. Theres so many people i know that know my mom's basic situation and whenever they see me they greet me with "hows your mom?" what am i supposed to say now when shes dead. i have kind of isolated my self these past few weeks and havnt been talking much to my friends, what do i say to them, or to acquaintances, or anyone. im not a martyr and dont like pity or attention, i dont want people to feel bad that they even bothered asking. |
Question: Is it okay not to have friends at 18? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:24 PM PST It's actually really pretty sad lol. I have no friends to talk too hang out with or just be there for me.Im always home. The only time I go out is to go to college.Nobody texts me.I tried to keep in touch w this one girl from HS but been left on read a million times. I just sick of being so lonely. I literally feel like crying.I hate going online and seeing all this girls having fun with there friends and living there life. And me? I'm just wasting it away. I use to have a best friend of 6 years but she did something that I will never be able to forgive her for. |
Question: I feel like my boyfriend prioritizes his friends? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 09:06 PM PST To clarify, I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 21. I understand that we are young and hanging out with friends is a big part of this age. I have a group of three friends who are very important to me. We even have matching tattoos together. However, when all of us got into relationships, we all understood without it being said that our partners came before each other. We also don't see each other regularly because we have jobs, college and busy lives. My boyfriend has a group of three friends as well and he told me that it would be an issue if I didn't like them or if they didn't like me. He was upset when he brought up me moving in with him, but he wanted us to live with his friends (he lives with his best friend now) and I said I didn't want to, if I was moving in with him, it would be just us. Because he lives with his best friend, they're always together and I won't hear from him for hours. If he's not with him, he's with his other friends. They literally cannot be apart. His friends have made comments about how he doesn't hang out with them as much because of me, which is funny because he's with them way more than he is with me. I don't text or call him when he's with his friends so he can hang out with them. It feels as if I'm in a relationship to marry someone who's my best friend and he's in a relationship to marry someone who will get along with his friends so they can all grow old together and continue to have fun like they'll be 21 years old for the rest of their lives. |
Question: How can you tell if a person is being distant from you? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 08:52 PM PST They aren't your partner. This could be a co worker, friend, family members, anyone you know basically. |
Question: Is it rude to not get my ex a gift? Posted: 02 Feb 2020 06:43 PM PST Hes graduating this year and I'm getting all his friends gifts bc they're mine too a and they're just small sentimental goodie bags. He will not be getting one, and it's mainly bc he was a douche but I feel bad like I'm saying I give t your best friends gifts but not you? |
