| Posted: 04 Feb 2018 08:00 PM PST We talk sometimes, but it has been school-related. After this one conversation we had about our exam at the end of the semester, he has been acting unusual. Last semester this person kept to himself and is suddenly more much social this semester. I sit towards the back of class and noticed how more fidgety he has been. On 4 separate occasions I caught him turned around and when I notice, he immediately turns back like nothing happened. The other times it happened, classmates in the back were answering a question and we would all turn back to listen. My neck would strain before they would complete the answer, so I would turn back to my normal position. And he would turn back the moment he realizes I turn back too. More than 2 times is too much of a coincidence. For most recent time no one was talking in the back, but he turns around anyways and our eyes met. He swivels back to the front again. We walked past each other in the hall the other day and I said hello to be nice. He smiles back in a gentle manner. My organization had a health workshop the same day during lunch. I went up to many of my classmates to invite them individually. I decided to walk up to him to invite him. When I stopped to talk to him he seemed to light up and stare deeply into my soul haha! I had to look away for a moment (he was making me nervous) and when I looked back up, he was still staring and even asked me follow up questions. He showed up to this workshop and he never attends any school events. |

I'm just very confused about the entire situation because this all happened within 3 years. Its so incredibly painful knowing he shares a child with her. Knowing for the next 10. 20 years and beyond, they'll always share that connection. A connection I could have had with him but never will now. So fast forward to now. Last Tuesday, he sees me in the college library and comes up to me. We talk for a while and he sits down with me. During our conversation, he asks me if I would like to go out to lunch sometime and of course I had to say yes thinking it was just friendly. Well, we exchange numbers and later that night he asks to call me. We talk on the phone and all. However, during the end of the conversation he asks me out and since I didn't know him I declined and said it would be best to stay as friends (I also thought he was much older than me, as I was 20 and he is 26.. I thought he was much older). Now, he keeps texting me almost every other night and it's driving me insane. He asked to hang out on Saturday night and I declined since it was late at night and I would not have been comfortable being out that late. He texted me again tonight, but I haven't responded. With him texting me all the time, it's becoming really annoying to the point where I just to block his number. He can't even keep a conversation going. I really don't want to go out to lunch with him anymore since I know he wants to be more than friends and I don't want to be mean/rude. Really, I was fine at first with it but now not so much. When his dad passed away I was the one he came to rather than the other staff who were working even though he knows them as well, it broke my heart seeing him like that. Since then we always seem to have talked more. Back in October he asked for my number and I gave him it without thinking which is something I never do but the only time we've text is when we were both drunk and things did escalate pretty quickly. After we first text I didn't see him for a while but every time I did someone always appeared and basically cockblocked. Two guys who my friend knew are also in the same class as us. We are all 2nd years. So then after meeting him I added him on instagram and whenever I put up a story, hes like the 2nd or 3rd one to look at it. And he NEVER skips a story ever and i post a lot. He was coming to see me from Montana, I live in Utah. He was jumping off the train before it reached the train yard and he broke his ankle and leg. | Question: Dealing with Guilt as a Catholic? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 03:47 PM PST ok so i am a Catholic and I really experience guilt all the time for small things that might be considered sins and some that are not sins. this guilt that I have is hard on me because like I overthink all of these little things wrong that I do and have done. For instance, men and this girl who are both really close to God love each other (we are both 18) and we hug and kiss not on the lips just a peck on the cheek and somehow even though I am not really lusting I feel a sense of overwhelming guilt for it. her parents are really strict and they don't let her talk to boys but I truly do love the girl and we don't see each other all that much but I just feel guilty about it like I haven't lusted and we aren't dating her family just hasn't come to terms with the whole idea as they are old-fashioned. we talked to a priest because we felt bad that we were talking to each other and he said that it is permissible for us to talk because her parents are sort of preventing Gods will in finding her vocation which could very well possibly be me marrying her. and btw I don't date for no reason I only date with the sole intention of marrying that person. and so he said it was permissible for that reason but i still feel like crap and overly guilty for this and many other small things throughout the day and even some from my past which blurs my mind and makes it hard to focus on God. please help i really truly love the girl and have known her for a year now |

We have two beautiful daughters. The start of our relationship was a nightmare as I kissed someone and he slept with someone... all that in the past now but I don't know what it is but whenever we go to bed and get ready and do my nightly routine, he will always watch some crap on his iPad and stay up for hours in bed but then he switches it off and that's it, I'm just left to sit awake wondering why her doesn't want sex. He can get hard no problem and would never say no to a ******* but he never touches me, or try's to start me off. It really annoys me as we argue a lot about it and he still won't take anything I say serious and I'm scared incase he pushes me away as he slowly is. I do dress up once in a while but even then he hardly pays any attention to me and would still wait until I make the move |
