I'm 17, and I am feeling kind of depressed because I feel like was never able to experience what it was like to be a kid and have friends. I mean, I had acquaintances, but I never really hung out with people outside of school. I have friends right now, but I still don't get to hang out with them as often as other people do with their friends, they usually just say they're busy during the time I want to hang out, and that honestly just makes me feel worse about the whole situation. How do I overcome this?

While I want to have a close friendship with my friend, she doesn't seem to be into that. Although she tells me she loves me and that I'm her friend, her actions don't reflect her words. The only time she contacts me is when she has a nosey question about my life. She won't ever really start a conversation with me. I'm becoming acquainted with someone she knows as well and she tells me that our friend treats her the same way. Only contacts her to ask questions and that they haven't had a real conversation in months. Her world seems to revolve around her on again, off again boyfriend and her two best friends (one who lives in another state). While I have my flaws, I have tried to show her I care and that I can be a good friend. It doesn't seem like it's enough. The person I'm becoming acquainted with said that our friend may act weird about us being friends. I don't see why she would care?

So basically I really wanted to buy something online so I payed my mom and used her credit card and I saved it in and every day I buy stuff and she doesn't know. Will she find out? I have bought things well over 100 dollars

I have been in a dinner with a group of wives of doctors. I only knew one friend of them so I went to her table and said hi and sat with her and her friends. She left the table to greet other friends on another table. I got up to say hi to the new group of her friends and sat with them on their table with her. She got up again and went to the other table. I felt embarrassed and unwelcome by her. So I went up to her in front of friends and asked her; what is wrong.. are you upset or something? And then talked to her alone and told her I wanted to talk to her but she keeps on leaving the place. After the end of the dinner I felt I made myself look like I fool. Have I? Was it too bad?

Ok so i started college back in august and quickly found a close knit group of friends. My best guy friend in the group met another guy and they became the best of friends. I started developing feelings for his friend and started getting closer with him the past couple of months. Lately he's seemed to take a stronger interest in my life. He started snap chatting me all the time and were each others best friends on snap chat. He asked for my number and texts me randomly. He always talks about things we should do sometime. The other night he texted me apologizing for being an *** to me because he's been stressed lately. He wasn't an *** and he only apologized to me despite us having a very close friend group. He always turns to me with funny things first and we pulled an all nighter together the other day. He stayed up with me until 8 am and we just talked literally all night long. He always asks me if I'm coming places, but hasn't made many physical moves on me. He hugged me the other day and started playfully pushing me around. But other than that, he's not super touchy. He had a small thing with another friend where they pulled an all nighter and cuddled and made out, but he never tried that with me. I'm just completely confused and I want to ask him, but I'm afraid of how much it's going to hurt if he rejects me. He told my friend he didn't like anyone the other day, so that made me more confused. Any ideas or similar experiences? Do u think he's interested? He also remembers EVERYTHING I tell him, even little details.

They were being too loud at the library and I told them to be queit and that it wasn't a cafe for them. They told me I could move if i wanted. So i got up and told the staff. ALL my life I've been shy, socially awkward and also have VERY low self esteem because of my face. I was born with a birth defect which made my nose bigger than normal and my upper lips are uneven. You can tell if you look at me and it makes me EXTREMELY insecure when people stare at me. I'm 21 and NEVER had a boyfriend in my whole life. I only have one friend whom I talk to once in a great while. I'm poor, don't have a job, don't know how I'm going to pay my bills.. I meet guys online and for the most part they just use me for sex and or they stop talking to me after a few days. I'm so insecure about my face that when I do meet a guy in person, my hand is ALWAYS covering my nose and mouth. Even when they're in the car with me and I have to turn my head to make sure no car is coming, I make sure that one of my hands is covering my face while the other is on the wheel. I hate myself and hate the way I look and that'll never change. I just can't come to love myself because there's nothing to love about the way I look. I'm so depressed because no guy likes me and no guy will ever like me. Even the ones I meet online end up not talking to me after a few days for whatever reason. I'm so desperate for someone to show me affection that I do them favors such as today I drove a guy I met online to work. He thanked me but he didn't seem that appreciative because he got out of my car and started talking to his co-worker. I just want affection SO bad and am looking for ANYONE... ...Looking for ANYONE to give me some. I just want a real relationship where I'm loved and cared about and they WANT to talk to me and not just to use me for rides.. I feel like that'll never happen though because it never happened so far and never will. I'm too shy and awkward to meet someone in real life and nobody wants a girlfriend with this ugly face.. I ran into my former mother in law at a mall and she told me her daughter, my ex, was getting married again. She told me who she was marrying and he was a casual acquaintance. I thought it was appropriate to send her a nice wedding gift and wish her and her new husband a long and happy married life. She thanked me for the gift but said not to contact her again as her husband did not want her in contact with other men especially me. I emailed her back and said I understood and I would not contact her again as I did not want to cause any problem with her marriage. About 4 months later I got a call from my ex's new husband wanting my help to get his computer back up running. He said "I know this is unusual but will you help me". Unusual, I thought it was weird. However I thought why make a enemy when you can make a friend so I agreed to help him and I told him how to fix his computer. He seemed happy. The last thing he said was "Please don't tell my wife I called you" and I said OK. He has called me a few more times asking for help with his computer and each time I helped him and each time he ask me not to tell his wife he had called. I am not sure how I should feel about this. He doesn't want his wife to talk to me but it is OK if he talks to me. Should I stop helping him with his problems until his wife knows about this. Advice please on what I should do.

Here's the situation. I'm afraid of dogs, and their dog is a puppy and is very excited. This wouldn't be a problem for them to put their dog in a room, however other friends will be there that may not approve. In the past when I have asked this of the others they complain and become very mad at me, so they would ruin my friends birthday get together if I ask. What should I do? Should I not go to the party, or just let them complain? Any other ideas?

My friend was a heavy drinker and drugger that caused him to have Epilepsy first and then a stroke. I went to go see him a few days ago and he couldn't remember who I was. We had a nice chat and he started to remember somethings ..he even told me he loved me and wanted to try something with me wen he got better . Please remember that angles protect angels and if you are unkind and interfere with the work of God then do not expect to get help from the Angels cause angels protect angels first. This is a rule from long ago and if anyone ever does interfere anymore with angelic work then they might be subject a judgement that is sad cause those who do this on purpose will not get help when they cry out for help. People are made for different purposes and if some have incarnated here for special purposes then they should be granted more compassion cause perhaps they did so to understand the suffering among humanity. There locations and identities should be hidden forever more and no one should ever interfere with their works. Those who have done so should be granted some chances to help fix the problems here on earth and make the world a more peaceful place and remember that people have a freedom that the angels do not have. But the lives of those here in that form should be treated with great dignity and not bothered by anyone who has evil intent and that should never be allowed. Perhaps there are some special angels who help keep them inline and no one should ever question this cause those kinds of angels are going to make sure some of the people behave. I'm a 15 year old girl, and I'm jealous of a friend. She's the same age. I really love her a lot, but I just can't help but feel worse in every way then her. She's so pretty, very smart, talented (in everything seriously) she can draw amazingly, sing perfectly and so on. Also she knows everything and is the smartest person ever probably. I don't think I'll ever be able to be like that. It makes me really sad, and I ask myself is it even worth trying? I feel so bad because of this, because she's a very dear friend of mine and I hate being like this. I don't even feel motivated anymore, and anytime I think I did a good job, I remember she'd do it 100 times better. It's really killing me, I don't have will to do anything anymore. Please give me some advice. And also please don't give mean answers as I am very hurt because of this.

We are roommates and I did not like him at all when I first saw him but I don't know why I start to like him more, then I realise he already is taken but it's too late, I have fallen deep, so I have been avoiding him and talking less to him because I scare if I see his face or body, u cannot control my emotion. I'm a girl and this guy keeps making fun of me to his friend since he first saw me. I can some times overhear his conversations and i can tell it abouts me. He talks about me so much that his friend told him to stop because he was tired of it. But instead of stopping the guy went to another group of friends and started making fun of me to them.

I've never been popular, but I've always been really awkward and quiet and kind of a loner. I'm not good looking so it's hard to be confident. I don't have any friends anymore, and it's really hard to go there since the people who go there aren't nice, plus my loneliness makes me miserable. No one wants to be my friend because everyone there I've known for so many years and they know that I'm weird and don't have friends. I supported my friends prayed with them when they were going on interviews. Supported and listen to them talk about they jobs. But I dont get the same support. I told them I go on interviews they say oh ok. Not a good luck or anything. Told them I got job they say oh ok congrats then switch the subject. I feel no one cares.

So back in December I broke up with a friend of two years. Another friend keeps pressuring me to make things up with her. My friend that I hang out with sometimes whenever I ask him if we are okay and if he is bothered by anything that I do he says "nah we're good man! You're not bothering me" but when we are in a group meeting or around several other people he suddenly wants to confront me in front of everyone, he gets all loud and emotional he says "I HATED WHEN U DID THIS AND THAT AND IT HURT MY FEELINGS!". Then when we start hanging out alone again Weeks Later he acts like everything is great and he loves me. But then my other friends tell me that he is talking about me behind my back and saying that I am still being mean to him and treating him wrong. When I ask him why he doesn't simply talk to me about it in person so that we can be open and honest with one another. He just said again "I'm not bothered by anything that you are doing everything is great brother!" Why does he keep doing that?

i have 3 roommates.. 2 of them are really quiet and they do bring their friend in but not often but if they do, they stay in their room and i cant even hear them so i dont mind.. but my other roommate.. she and her friend will stay in the kitchen and my room is right in front so its really loud and sometimes i cant focus on school work and idk... i do have social anxiety so i cant really go to the kitchen if im hungry or go use the bathroom bc i dont want to interact with new people.. they dont drink or party.. they do hw.. but i understand that her room is small so 2 people cant fit in there.. but i wish she didnt bring people over every single day.. esp at night when im tired and want peace and quiet and listen to music or watch videos.. or just randomly nap.. she brings the same friend everyday.. really hate her voice too because ITS SOOO LOUD.. so it bothers me even more.. but i dont wanna be like a mom and tell her to not bring people over..

I've been friends with this girl(17) for many years, and now in school, we've met new friends. I understand that we should make new friends and meet new people, but it just feels different. Over the summer while I was away, she went running every morning with this girl, and they became closer. I sound jealous and I guess I am. She has like a list of favorites. I'm there, someone she likes more comes along, I get ignored. When we're alone, she's like "Aw, I love you, I really do". I believe her, but she doesn't know how much it means to me. It's obvious to everyone that she has favorites. Should I finally tell her how I feel? I'm afraid it might ruin our friendship.

After being sexually harassed and bullied by one of my closest friends, I threatened that I was going to kill myself. And made the mistake via Snapchat. Unfortunately, my mom's friend saw it, screenshot it, and sent it to my parents. So my phone got taken away and I had a two hour long discussion. I was in the hospital following a suicide attempt recently (12/08/2017-12/23/2017) and don't want to go back.
