Hola, no sé ligar y a veces me cuesta interpretar a las chicas. Llevo hablando con una chica por chat 20 días, ella demora mucho en responder, de 9 a 24 horas y yo hago lo mismo. Hoy me contestó " no me has hablado mucho ,cuéntame de tus días como has estado y de lo demás disculpa.no hablar mucho" . La verdad no se ni que responder y en estos días he ido a visitar a una amiga, solo amiga de hace tiempo, y no sé si sea bueno comentarle eso... No sé qué hacer 

So today I took a basic finance skills class (virtual). And my parents are teaching me how to drive. I'm excited to learn these things, but I also feel embarrassed because all of my friends got their lisence at 16 or 17 and here I am just learning how to do this stuff. Is this sad or should I have it all together by now?

So I've been with my girlfriend for about 7 months now. I've met her friends a couple of times. So my gf is spending all of the quarantine time in my apartment. She also spend nights talking to her friends in a zoom video chat in my living room. Me suffering thru social anxiety doesn't really like to be on camera and inside i feel uncomfortable being next to my gf on camera with all her friends. Is it wrong for me not to participate in these video sessions because I don't know her friends very well? I feel like an outsider and it bothers me that this is happening in my apartment!

I work for a Packaging  company,  and i knew this girl Alyssa for 2 years.  Alyssa was a secretary,  and we would always talk.  Alyssa would always stare at me like crazy, and there was lots of chemestry when we talked.  I had feelings for her but she was married with 3 kids,  i obviously respected her. She would always blush around me One day Alyssa was having a deep conversation with one of my besfriends (a girl)  and Alyssa told her that she is falling for me, and cares for me  but feels guilty because she's married.  She begged my friend to never tell me the secret.  Alyssa and i began getting closer and closer,  but later other coworker's caused drama because everyone thought we were having an affair. My manager told me to stop talking to Alyssa to avoid drama.  Alyssa told me she didn't want to see me get into trouble because of her.  Alyssa was having major problems with 2 specific coworkers and i know she was stressed.   I later began noticing that Alyssa would give me the cold shoulder,  and was acting different with me.   one day for her birthday I gave her a gift card,  but she told my manager about the gift card and my manager got mad and moved me to a different department.   3 weeks later after I was moved I heard Alyssa resigned from her job, and blocked me from Facebook...   early this year around February I noticed she returned to work but she doesn't look me in the eyes.  it's like I don't exist anymore!  Why is she so cold with me?? Does she hate me

You don't have much new friends 

So me and this girl got in a huge argument and it torse our friend group apart. A mutual friend of ours tried to stay in the middle but she also has had problems with this girl. the girl is controlling and cries about everything. The mutual friend and I went to a concert together last June and she told me she couldn't post from the concert because the girl (let's say her name is Grace) would get mad. I was disappointed but it was fine bc I knew she was in a toxic relationship and I should be there for her. Then when it was my birthday she didn't post a picture for me because Grace would get mad just like before, but then she posted a picture for Grace on her and didn't care at all. I think she is embarrassed to be seen with me. What should I do? I also tried talking to her about it and she said she can't make Grace mad and that she's scared of her because it will cause drama

BF is delaying summer wedding idea because of the virus and some personal stuff he has to do. He said "if you are in rush for wedding, you can leave or if you can wait, ok". He also said something like "even if you find another guy, it's impossible to date right now and you have to spend time all over again to know the person". I asked him if he wants me to stay, and he said "that is why I am asking you". Does he want me to stay but was giving me freedom to choose? He says he does see future with me?

When a person has social issues like it's hard for them to make and keep friends and it's just hard for them handle friendships as a whole. Does that ever go away for them? 

I'm in my upper 30's.  I live in a very, very small town.   I'm a quiet person.  I'm not originally from here so once my oldest started school I thought I would make friends with other moms.  Wrong!!!! They all have their "clicks".  I smile and say hi, some speak back and some doesn't.  When my daughter joined a sport I thought I could break the ice during practice to allow more time for talk.   Wrong again!! They ignore me.  One day I was the  first to arrive and sat in the area they do, they came in and sat on the other side of the room.  My daughter says all the kids are nice to her at school and thats what is most important to me.  I am lonely and have absolutely 0 friends here.  I was ecstatic when they started friend requested me on fb.  I never post anything politics or religion, only family things.  Well, thats been over 3 years now.  Guess they just wanted to be nosey.  I work 5 days a week from home.  I'm just tired of not having that person who calls me just to say hi, that shopping buddy, the one that we can talk and just have fun.  My best friend from my younger years died a long time ago and I miss her terrible.  I miss having that connection.  

friend lied about getting me to help me move, she was to get me but decide not to because of where i had a stimulus check & i had to get things (like a bed, clothes, pay the bills) and then was snotty in saying "well since you spent that money, im not getting you anymore"  before the check, she "promised" to get me & help me get a better apartment. . & i  told her that i would slowly save up money after she got me & still help out with bills. i did alot for her when i used to live with her she also had a stimulus check (i have no idea with she used hers on) & she has a husband that had a car & they lived 3 hours from me, but still were being cruel in not wanting to get me. honestly if i had a car & a friend was in a difficult situation, i would come get them in a heartbeat, but ill be more cautious now. thanks to everyone that answered.

I've personally only heard of one case, and the person infected is the friend of a friend of a friend of a friend

Let's look at how weird these people are. So there's me. I am a normal person but I'm am a dumb ***. Like if so dumb it's not funny bit other than that I'm fine. Friend one stinks like **** never showers plays video games all day brakes my stuff never shuts up about cars. Friend 2 stinks like **** is ulgy games all day breaks my stuff never works never shuts up about cars. Friend 3 is clean and showers breaks my stuff never shuts up about cars to the extreme breaks my stuff. He could make new friends who are not losers. In to a new friend group now Friend one will date Asian girls probably because he isn't good enough for white girls will ask for rides will try and sell you stuff will always ask for money. Friend 2 is just dumb and stupid which is fine because I am to. Friend 3 has mental issues and will talk about lawnmowers for to long but I would rather that than cars. All the guys from the second group shower. Do I need new friends there people drive nuts.except for the guy who is dumb and stupid he is fine but everyone else. Do they need to go??

I had a friend for 5 years who was toxic. She always texted me about her problems, venting and ranting about even the smallest thing and acting like it was the end of the world. whenever I tried to talk to her about my own problems she either ignored me or changed the subject back to her problems. At the time she was the only friend I had, i didn't have anyone else to talk to, so I got WAY too emotionally invested in her. I realized too late that she was doing this only for attention. The last 2 years of our friendship was me slowly getting to the point where I cut off all empathy I had for her. I just got to the point where I didn't even bother to help her cause it was a waste of my emotions and time. However this has slowly spilled into my everyday life. I don't feel empathy for anyone like I used to at all. I used to be able to empathize with people and talk people through their problems are really feel for them and comfort them. But now whenever someone has a genuine problem and they come to me, my knee jerk reaction is to not care. After a while I do feel for them deeply, but I feel like this person I was "friends"with slowly stripped me of any empathy I had for anyone. Basically, how can I get back to my old self where I could actually like helping people? I used to love helping people with all my heart and I feel like such a bad person for not being able to anymore. Please help, I don't want it to be like this anymore.

So my cousin let me try her mom's lasagna and she asked me how it was and I said it's not that good but it's alright and she yelled at me and called me rude. I was just being honest. You can't pretend you like something when you don't. You gotta be honest right? I'm a straight forward person. If I don't like something say a food, I will frankly tell you it's not good. This is actually a good thing because that's how you improve something. I never get mad when people don't like my cooking. Instead of getting mad, I'll ask what ingredient I should add or lessen. That's how I became better in cooking. Why people gotta be so sensitive?

I get hard when I think about her, would sex ruin our friendship?

My son was at his best friend's pool last week.  He said after they got out, he and his friend took a shower together.  I asked him if his suit was on, but he said they both did it naked.  I asked him if anyone looked in while they were showering or if anyone touched in a "private" area, he said no to both questions.  I asked if his parents knew they were showering together, and he said yes.   I can't say I have much issue with the above scenario; the last time I showered naked with another boy was at age 7.  Me and my best friend had just gotten haircuts by my friend's mom, and she said we needed to shower off afterwards.  My friend really wanted me to come in the shower with him; at first some of my modesty was taking hold, mostly because he never saw my butt before then; we went pee in the same toilet all the time, so it wasn't about my penis, even though he was circumcised and I wasn't.  But when i saw him start taking all of his clothes off right in front of me, my "I want to be just like him" sentiment took hold, and I started stripping away; I immediately felt more secure in my natural state.  The highlight of that shower was mainly using the squirting toys and firing at each other with them. I'm not affected in any way by it, but I'm just wondering if I should discourage my son from being naked in front of his friends at that age.  I mean it looked like both of them felt secure about it so I don't want to make him feel ashamed either.  

So I'm just about sick and tired of crap from people who claim that I can't do this or can't do that. I'm old enough to make decisions for myself. My brother in law aaron told my family to take away the car keys fearing that I may take the car and go do stuff. He says he can't risk me taking chances and getting myself locked up again. I don't care and I shall do as I please. He keeps on saying that I'm gonna get caught posting stuff on here and says that cops can trace me. Well I'll bet you $500 that they can't do that cause I'm on public wifi. I'm so sick and tired of people telling me what to do and I'm thinking about doing drastic stuff. I'm thinking about just shooting myself in the head. I'm so fed up with people bossing me and that I will do what I want. I'm also getting death threats too so I'm gonna go buy a gun to protect myself but I also will just shoot myself. People are making me have homicidal thoughts and ideas and I'm getting sick of people messing with me. Like larry sizemore from burn notice said " It's time we got to put some people in the ground" and I'm talking about people who mess with me and making death threats towards me. I'm so sick and fed up with this nonsense bull crap from people. I'm just going to do what I shall please. How come people want to tick me off ??? Why do they like to make me become suicidal and homicidal ??

I just made a new friend and he's great but I really don't think he brushes his teeth. When he talks I see a bunch of plaque on his teeth. I am worried about him but I don't want to be rude. How can I tell him nicely that he needs to do a better job brushing?

How long is too long to go without talking to your closest friend? Me and my closest friend go days without talking but never months without talking because she doesn't think it's ok but I don't text her much at all anyway 

Me and this girl both did indoor track our freshman year and became good friends. we both ran the mile. this year, she was super competitive (nothing wrong with that) and started not including me as much/didn't want to do things with me.  She only texted me when she needed something - something to borrow, a ride to practice.. she even snapchatted my brother to ask if I was competing at the big end of season meet.. lol found that weird. She just seemed to always be keeping tabs on me.  Anyways whenever I would beat her, she wouldn't really say anything, just looked sad. When she would beat me, she would give me the fakest hug. it's not that I wasn't happy for her, it's just she would act all happy towards me after ignoring me during the whole meet or previous practice. I tried to still stay friends, but she seemed to want to have noting to do with me/hung out with other ppl.. it was so strange. then she would send me all these texts like 'good job u should be soooo proud..' then she DM'd me a track meme on Instagram (1 month after the season ended).. I didn't respond. Should I have?  I don't really miss her friendship, but should I try to still be friendly and give her a second chance or should I just move on? Thank you.
