I am 14 years old and me and my dad have always been close. He's never tried anything with me. But one thing that always makes me uncomfortable with him is that he always forces me to kiss him but there's never any malicious intent. A couple of years ago when I was really young my cousin molested me and I haven't really been the same and this has caused me to not really wanna kiss anyone and my grandmother who I live with has been understanding and doesn't kiss me but my dad, on the other hand, seems to think it's a joke and makes me kiss him and the reason why is because I've never really said anything about it to him until it a couple of years ago and also because he's always kissed me and my sibling so he doesn't really see the problem. 

I try to help but she lashes out at me if I try to help make suggestions.

Is it like trying to get a fat person to exercise or get a drunk to put down the bottle. Or tell a druggie to clean up? How about hoarders happy to see a clean place, but they hate maintaining it or doing it themselves?

Last night I completley broke down crying and angry. My older brother likes to insult me and steals my stuff in my room to make me upset and laughs about it. (He's 22 I'm 19). I haven't been able to leave my parents house because I still don't have a license which I need for a decent job. Instead I'm still working in their business which makes me completely miserable. I constantly have to clean up dog feces on my knees cause we board dogs and some prefer doing their business inside instead of out. My older brother doesn't make it easier. I don't get help from my parents just criticism, yelling and ignoring. I feed the dogs, wash them, their dishes, their kennels all for it to be repeated the next day when it gets dirty. I feel like my dad mostly loves the dogs more than his kids. He never spends time with me even when I was a little kid. He makes sure the dogs are always fed by me but when I don't ever feed myself he could care less. I get so angry and depressed that I smack things in my room or kick my door whenever my dad starts his nagging and yelling. I thought when I was old enough I could be in college, my own house with friends and be able to leave my house more than once a month but I ended up still working for my parents not even getting paid a penny. When I ask my parents to take me to do my driving test etc they say yes but it never happens. It's so embarrassing that all my classmates are out doing stuff while I'm doing my parents job alone. 

When i eat out with my inlaws it is very stressful so i dont often but none of them want to sit by me ! They look like they are going to crawl out of their skin they are so uncomfortable. I ate out with them at cracker barrel and my nephew sat by his mom so that required my fil to sit inbetween me and my bil and it was like it was the walk of shame he walked so slow until my nephew said ill sit there i guess . I dont think im being paranoid bc its happens before . My mil moved over for my sil to sit in front of me one time and she whispered fir her to move back . Idk i am shy with them but i try to talk . They wont hardly sit by me at their house . What can i do to make them not so uncomfortable or do they think i am? 

Right now he doesn't other then throwing out money cause he has so much and doesn't know what to do with it

I asked why she is crying and she said it's none of my business. I merely asked for some cheese on an extra piece of toast and she brought it back bubbled and liquified ruined cheese. I was not a jerk about it, but I said you put the toast in the microwave way too long. She stormed off and started crying. It frustrates me shes so emotionally unstable. I cant get her to lose weight either. She argues and makes up excuses. She cant get over her abusive ex either. I didnt even ask for breakfast to be honest. Last night she chipped my tooth pushing my face when I was not expecting it so I slept in my own room. Shes not taking care of her health and its depressing me, but I dont want to leave her.

Next weekend was supposed to be the ski trip he promised all of last year. He said when he broke the promise that he didn't have any time for traveling this winter. Yet, he traveled this weekend with some guys he's friends with and is going to Atlanta with my mother at the end of the month for a long weekend. Yet another lie. I'm feeling really hurt this weekend. What do I do and what do I do next weekend when feeling the hurt of the lie since it will be when the Oregon trip would have been?

We're all between the ages of 25 to 16. Every year on our birthdays or near our birthdays she gets all petty and treats us like garbage. She doesn't want to be reminded about our birthdays coming up. And I'm turning 24 this month and what do you know? I'm suffering under her wrath. I'm not making this up, this happens every year. This is not normal!

He is 16. Our mother won't press charges  Our mother is old school. For example she still uses the mailbox and UPS instead of just email like real people do. 

They help everybody else. They leave me to fend for myself.

I love my mom, but I am currently crying on my couch because of her. She is really sweet to me and cares for me but other times I want to die. This morning before church, my mom is yelling at me because she thinks I took her contact lenses (I have no use for them, I have 20/20 vision and am able to read the bottom of the eye charts) but when I told her that she repeatedly said that I took her lenses. I kept repeating that I have no use for them in a calm matter but her voice kept getting louder and louder and a habit of mine is I get more and more afraid of my mom so my voice gets higher and squeakier and my mom hates that, she thinks it means I am being disrespectful. She said " You're being hysterical I only asked you a question " but I answered that question, multiple times, and she kept insisting my quote " greedy little hands " took her contact lenses and she proceeded to search my room when I told her not to. She then continued to yell at me and got a trashbag and threw away all my stuff. This is not the worse. One time she continuously yelled at me and when I yelled back (I did not mean to, I was getting fed up) she put duct tape on my mouth in the backyard. She tells her friends that as if it is some sort of joke. I was scared out of my mind when she did that.  reasoning does not help. If I reason with her, she assumes it means that I think I know more than she does and I should not talk to her that way. She punishes me and wants me to shut up and take it and if I dare say something along the lines of " mom, please don't " she makes the punishment worse.  My dad does not care. He said " what do you want me to do about it " my dad seems to calm my mom down but he does not do anything. Afterwards, they both brush off the whole situation as if it never happened while I am still crying.  My question is what do I do in this situation? 

They weren't sympathetic towards me, they didn't even question why I pulled a knife out on my brother, they just reacted in utter disgusted and treated me like an evil, horrible person. Just one time I did this and automatically, it's grounds for prison time and being disowned by family. What is wrong with them?

Last time I went to the sauna with them I got a full on ***** and my mom saw itand told me to get out for being a pervert. I don't want this to happen so could anyone give me a tip how to not get a ***** to her?

Last night I heard part of my sisters conversation with her boyfriend by mistake and they got into an argument while talking. Throughout the conversation he called her a **** and ******* ***** multiple times. I was so shocked it's hear this and I'm not sure what to do, should I get involved or stay out of it? Maybe tell my parents about what I heard?  He called her a c**t and fu**ing b**ch

Hi all, could you ever stop loving your child? As a child, I (male, 16) used to live with my mum and only saw my father occasionally, but everytime I saw him, we had a great time. I always felt loved by both of them. A few years ago, when my mum had a new boyfriend, I didn't get along well with her anymore. She moved abroad 1/2 year ago. I wanted to still be friends with her and stay in touch, but she doesn't seem to care about me anymore.  After my mother left, I moved in with my dad and his new girl-friend and her kids. They took me in reluctantly and I'm not really a part of the family. I just live their like a loger. I eat alone, I never take part in family activities. My step mother doesn't talk to me at all, only when I've done something wrong. My dad is a very busy musician and we never spend any time together. When he is off, he only spends time with his girl-friend and her kids. They didn't even remember my birthday.  I have a girl-friend and lots of friends. As an almost grown-up man, I shouldn't be bothered by my family situation. But I can't help it. I think about why my parents don't love me anymore a lot. I feel extremely lonely and sometimes I hurt myself because I feel that I'm worthless and hate myself. As a teenager, I haven't always been easy but I've never done anything really bad. Other kids do bad things and their parents still love them.  Do you think that it is possible that my parents don't love me anymore? Thanks and have a nice day! 

So the whole week, while my mother is working, the house is spotless. Now its the weekend and the house is a mess. My mother went grocery shopping yesterday and left all the groceries on the floor and walked away. And then she decided that the fridge is too stinky so she takes out the majority of the contents in the fridge and tosses them on the table, counter, sink and stove. So when she's done destroying the house she calls it a night and goes to bed. So now this morning, before she goes to church with her boyfriend, she wants to come up to me talking about "You have a lot of work to do today" and then leaves. Like i'm the one who wreaked havoc on the house. I'm so mad ewufhbwhvfgjwv

My fiancé is the oldest, with a younger brother and sister. His 18yo sister has shifted how I feel about coming over to their moms house. His mother and brother will hold conversations, make me feel included with my fiancé, love, and show support to us just by the hours being there. The sister is where it all changes.  In the 3 years we been together his sister has never said my name, said hello to me, If I bring something to the house she'll thank my fiancé on me behalf. (Knowing I made it) I even take the step to call and text her.. I ask her if she ever wants to go shopping or do pedicures she has no interest. If she sees me having a drink with her mother laughing, enjoying ourselves  she'll interrupt it and the room changes. It's OBVIOUS this girl doesn't want me around and I've done nothing but try. She is the youngest and only daughter, I thought me doing these things would be welcoming and give us something to do together, but I'm getting more hurt and excluded in the end.  My fiancé has talked to her telling her she doesn't need to like me, but respect me. But, going on 3 years this is just how it'll be. Am I wrong for distancing myself but reach out to his family?  

Im 21. Im currently saving up my money so I can move out of my mothers house while I go to college. She was saw me high once before. And now she assumes everytime I leave the house I go smoke. She keeps bringing up me smoking weed. And how it's bad and I wouldn't be able to get a good job because of it and I'm a disgrace because of it. Is weed really that bad ? I smoke it probably like once out the week 

I asked him but he doesn't seem to want to talk about it. Tbh I'm tired. Every time he gets hit I rush in to help him and then he tells me to go away or to stop yelling at our mom. I can get so frustruated by this because he keeps telling me to go away. My mom even admits to hitting him and calls him stupid in front of his face. I wouldn't be so worried for him if he stopped letting himself get hit in the head, chest and back. Just talking about it gets me heated.  Either way he shouldn't have to be hit and called stupid in front of his face. I really can't comprehend why he keeps letting it happen?? Is it supposed to be my fault to? Should I call the cops on her??

First I have seen him since Christmas time and he made a big lie over the holidays.

my friend lives in washington and he turned 18 and came to live with me in ohio, but stuff happened and he left back to washington with his parents and my mom wont let him come back. his mom and dad are super emotionally and physically abusive and so is his sister. They hit him and push him around but he is too scared and feels too guilty to call the police on them. He just recently got a job at Tacobell and the people there are mean to him too and made him mix amonia and chlorine today and he got sick and called me telling me hes going to kill himself.  in the past i called 911 to help him but i live all the way in ohio and he has too much anxiety to call the police and the suicide hotline there was too full for him. He only had about 600$ right now but his mom keeps taking money from him...(forcing him to buy stuff for her and threatening to kick him out if he doesnt.) he doesnt have anyone else he can stay with atm and hes pretty much stuck at the house hes in right now. i dont know what other options he has other than going to college and staying in a dorm because where hes at right now he can barly save 1000 before his mom starts taking it all. And he is a germaphobe and doesnt want to live on the street  ​​​​​​​

I am really exhausted. and tired of this life that I am currently living. For several years now, my mom has been unproductive. My mom cannot do anything for herself, literally. She will have me or my brother bring, cook, heat up her dinner or food for her. She has not had a job in years because of her surgeries, She has had back surgery 3-4 years ago. But it seems like she doesn't want to try to get better? All she will do is sit in her room all day, play on her console or phone, rarely she will get out of her room. She is very capable of doing things for herself but she chooses not to. She has other people drive places to get whatever she requests, and if we even tell her that we can't or we won't, she will get very emotional and upset, even though other times she is capable of driving off for 30 minutes to an hour to "clear her head". Her room is a constant mess and like I stated, she barely gets out of her room. unless it's for the bathroom or going out of the house (for lunch or dinner), She doesn't clean her room and thinks I shouldn't have to worry about her room because I don't sleep in it. All of this is stressing me out and making me very sad. Because there used to be a time where she was never like this. She never cooks or goes grocery shopping either. I feel like she became lazy and has given up on everything, including me. I really want to help her, but I don't know how, without making her upset or mad. Please? 

Why do I do this to myself ?? Why can't being a mom change my ways and make me a better person like anyone else ... I just feel like I have a ****** up relationship with everyone, I just can't forgive my parents who knew I was being molested but didn't say **** and didn't even defend me, they actually blamed me. My baby father used to beat my *** and make me feel like I was less as a mother. My dad is an alcoholic and I don't see no other way to cope with this **** but drink... I love my son, I wanna be there for him but no one thinks I'm a fit mother and at this point idk what to do but just ******* end my life. Please can anyone relate? Have u ever tried to do good but got abused to the point where u don't even think it's worth it? I cry all the time knowing I ain't **** for my son ik it. I just wish I can be better for him but I'm so young and really ain't got my life figured out yet to be there for him.. why am I like this I just wish I can be better

forgot to mention that shes my stepmom. non the less shes like a mother to me. i feel like running away i dont know what to do. my mom apologizes for how nasty they can get. i dont know what to do anymore.

My dad's sister daughter always makes a frown when we are around. For instance, Me, my sister, father and mother will greet her but she doesn't smile. She quickly says hi and sits back down. But she is happy to talk to her mom, dad, brother n law's family a lot.. Like right in front of us to. She been doing this for many years. Ever since her disable brother passed away in India I think she had a ill feeling ever since. Her brother was left in India with my dad's brother side family when she came here with her family. Her brother passed away because of retardation. I don't know what to do, but I'm really starting to hate her. And her mom always gossips
