The problem is, they're about 12 hours away (driving). I know i will see them on Easter and one other time before that, but I'm a little worried that's too soon. I have had a hard time trusting people after my previous relationship where my ex cheated on me and raped me. I have been working with a psychologist and getting better at trusting. So, 3 days ago, my bf told me he was gonna go party with his friends. Throughout the night he did not reply to my texts. I could see that he has read them but he ignored me. I called him a few times and he finally picked up and said he is at a club with a bunch of girls and he wasn't really paying attention to my texts. He was extremely drunk and he hung up afterwards. I waited for him to call me for two hours but he didn't. So, I went to a bar and drank and kissed a random guy I wasn't even attracted to. I didn't do it because I wanted excitement. I think subconsciously I wanted to do something terrible just so I could justify his behavior or the fact that he could be cheating or flirting with women. I guess I wanted us to be even. I know it sounds immature but after my last relationship, I barely even recognize myself when I'm put in high stress situations that involve trust. He called me the next day. Apparently he just blacked out. Now I don't know whether I should tell him or not. I know he will break up with me. I do love him very much and I'd never do anything like this again. He recently broke up with a girl he used to talk to and hit me up to go out on a date and he paid for my ride and everything and we had a good time. The next day he drove an hour to come see me and we had a good time too. We were supposed to see each other last week but I had to cancel, twice... because I was stuck almost 3 hours away from him and had no way of getting to him. We were supposed to for sure see each other on Wednesday and I told him that and he agreed. When I text him what time to pick me up he says you have me waiting all f*ing day for you for 5 f*ing hours. I told him I'm sorry but we agreed on tonight and he said you're ridiculous I'm not going to wait all day for you. Then I said I'm sorry I planned on seeing you and spending the night with you and then he said your plans are stupid and they make no sense. All I said was okay. We haven't talked since then but he still looks at my story on Instagram. |

| Question: How to stop over thinking while dating? Posted: 03 Feb 2018 02:46 PM PST When I'm talking to a girl like serious talking like potential relationship type talking. I tend to overthink. Everything could be going amazing. The dates the converstaions, but in the back of my mind I start to think " what if I'm not the only guy" and if she takes a while to reply I think "is she talking to someone else" I don't really get jelouse but my overthinking drives me crazy. It has ruined some potenal relationships in the past. Now I'm talking to a girl I really like and I almost messed it up by seeming needy when she doesn't reply and she told me to not move to quickly. Even tho we kissed and stuff already. If I really like a girl she's the only one I wanna be talking to be my overthinking kicks in and makes things seem worse then they are. I'm scared to get hurt but I end up hurting myself when I overthink and ruin things. I did get heart broken before in my first relationship so idk if that messed me up. I wasn't like this before then. |

It's not that he doesn't want to comfort me, he just doesn't know what to say. Is there a reason as to why he can't seem to find the words to comfort me, or am I just overreacting? |
