Question: Would you wear a wig if your parents told you, you look horrible without one? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 02:23 PM PST Let's say you have curly hair and your mother hates it. Age often tells you, your curls look horrible, you look like **** and how people only like straight hair. Your parents either tell you to wear a wig, straighten your hair and if not they won't take you anywhere because they're embarrassed to be seen as a with you in public. Example if you have a job your parents won't take you to work, or they'd force you to be home schooled if you don't straighten your hair. Or your mon will cancel your job interviews if you don't straighten your hair or wear a wig. Your 16 and a junior in high school. |
Question: My dad is pushing me to do something I don't want to do..? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 02:13 PM PST So my dad is really into martial arts. He's always pushing me to go into mma, boxing, wrestling, whatever. My dad put me in wrestling last year but the problem was, there was only boys in the program (I'm a girl) and when we were practicing, no one wanted to pair up with me.No one talked to me, and I was lonely. Also, my dad forced me to go to the scrimmages. They were set up like a competition, and I have a fear of performing in front of people (even if it's just wrestling).I quit wrestling, and my dad is still pushing for me to join mma things like boxing.I've asked him why he keeps on making me join, and he says it's for self defense. I know how to defend myself from the MONTHS of wrestling. Can't he just go over some things, like takedowns, at home? I don't like mma, but I don't want to hurt his feelings. It's his dream, not mine. Someone please help me on how to deal with this. |
Posted: 07 Feb 2018 02:07 PM PST I'm 17 and my mother and I recently got into an argument which she was wrong in by not believing me when I told her the truth. But that's beside the point. I have a job and I pay for my things with my money. She took my phone, my TV, my xbox, and my computer. The only thing she paid for that she took was the TV and I have no problem that she took that, my phone, xbox, and computer on the other hand I'm pissed about because I paid for that stuff with my money. I'm currently paying for my phone right now. I say she has no right to take it away from me since I paid and am currently paying for the things she took. Yes she's my mother but I paid for my things with my hard earned money. I don't work 35 hours a week to pay for my own **** just for my mom to take those things away from me. What's your opinion? |
Question: Don't you feel bad for me ? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 01:31 PM PST My sister loves cult leaders and serial killers she said she's married to David Koresh even though he's not real well he was but you know what I mean. To her he's her imaginary husband. He was probably in his late 20's or early 30's maybe even 40 his wife was not much older than her 12 or 13 when she married him yet she's 11. She's very mature for her age she's 11 acts like she's 16-18. Good thing he's invisible if he were still alive that would be just weird. If he were still alive and if she moved to Texas she could have probably married him. Age didn't matter to him it don't to her either. I guess he's my imaginary brother in law he is kind of a nice guy but she said he's kind of crazy. It sounded like in real life he was crazy. She said she loves him but he's beyond crazy. She said he's forcing her to have sex. She said she's not ready. She said she's not leaving him she loves him too much. I think he made her crazy too. She's also worried because she doesn't know what to get him for Valentine's Day either she wants to get him something special. Don't you feel bad for me having him as an imaginary brother in law ? Also she wants to know what should she get for him for Valentine's Day ? |
Question: How can I comfort my sister ? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 01:12 PM PST My sister was watching a show about the Zodiac killer she's really afraid they said he could be anyone. She's even afraid of me. She's afraid to go anywhere or to be around anyone. They said that he could target a bus full of children she's glad she's homeschooled. The first time she watched something about him she was freaked out she wouldn't even go outside at night. We're no where near California but she said you never know who he could be. We have a camper down by the river she was scared to go camping last summer. She thinks it's probably someone from the Manson Family doing this since it happened right around the same time some of his killings were similar he did tie up some of his victims and stab them though he didn't write any words on them. Also I don't think they could have gotten out of jail that fast. Now she's more afraid of knives she was already afraid of them from Manson but she does like watching this stuff. Also I am not the killer. I wouldn't hurt anyone. Plus the guys probably 90 or even 100 something years old now he might even be dead. How can I help her get over this ? How can i make her trust me ? |
Question: 25th wedding anniversary gift ideas? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 11:24 AM PST My parents 25th anniversary is in a few months and I d like to start getting some ideas what to get them to honor their milestone. I know silver is the symbol of this anniversary but is that appropriate to come from a son? I want it to be nicer than something boring like flowers. |
Posted: 07 Feb 2018 10:02 AM PST My dad is 5'9 and my mom is 5'6 but I am a 23 year old male and only 5'4. So both of my brothers are taller than me, one who is 4 years younger than me is 6'1 and one who is 4 years older than me is 5'11. So I just don't understand why my brothers are somehow that tall and then I ended up being this short. Anybody have a good logical explanation for this? Is there something wrong with me that made me this short? I'm just confused why I am only 5'4. |
Posted: 07 Feb 2018 09:05 AM PST ok so at this time of the week my sister has horse riding and my mum goes with her, that goes late, and my dad goes with them or goes for a bike ride, so its my time. i have like 3 hours of me binging netflix , homework, and raiding the kitchen freely. My dad has hurt his leg, not bad, but staying home instead of his ride. this make me really angry. Like I have been in my room swearing for 15 minutes, and i know hes done nothing wrong, but i worship this time. how can i calm down, need to study for two exams, and i cant like this. Also, sorry bout the spelling. |
Question: How can I keep myself from worrying? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 08:43 AM PST My mom told me last week that she has a blockage in her right Artery. When she told me that, I immediately thought of a heart attack. I hate to think that way but i can't help it. It turns out that She's known about the blockage since 2015 but she didn't tell me at the time because she didn't want to worry me. But I keep asking her how her recent dr visit went, and she told me. I don't understand how she can eat so unhealthy. She had fried fish when she told me about the blockage. She has diabetes, asthma. So I'm very worried about her. I know as believers were not supposed to but I'm human. How can I not worry about my mother? When I try to talk to her about how she cant continue to eat so unhealthy, she throws it back at me. "You had gummy bears. Didn't you have bacon for breakfast?" I understand where she's coming from but I'll explain to her that I'm not the one with a blocked artery. She'll tell me that I can be developing it as we speak. She gets defensive. I told her yesterday that I want to change my diet because I'm worried about her. She was happy. But I'm still worried because a blocked artery is no joke but she doesn't see it that way. Since 2015 she's known about her condition but continued to eat unhealthy. |
Question: I need some help with knowing if I guy I like (and he like me as well) are related.? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 08:38 AM PST His grandfather married my second cousin. She, the second cousin told him when we were in the 7th grade that he and I were cousins since she married his grandfather. We are now in our 50s and still scratching our heads and yes we still have a thing for one another after 4 decacdes! The kicker to all this was it was never proven that his mother was actually the biological child of the grandfather! Just need some answers to put this to rest! Thanks in advance!🙏 |
Question: What do you do with an out of control child? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 07:34 AM PST One that won't listen, talks back, rude, always in trouble, is a bully, skips school, etc. |
Question: So sick of my mom I need advice? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 04:32 AM PST My mom pisses me off to the point where I start crying. I sound like the typical teenager but let me explain. I'm 13. My mom expects me to clean the house top to bottom daily, take each dog on their own separate walk for an hour each, get up at 2am just to start feeding HER dogs, I have to cook grocery shop walk to get her medicine everyday and it makes me pissed. She shows no interest in me even though I'm her only child and I have no dad. She never tries to talk to me or show interest in what I'm doing and it makes me really sad and I'm crying my eyes out while typing this. She yells at me when I'm not up at 2am (I go to bed at 11pm because of all the work she makes me do) and gets mad when the whole weeks homework (5 lessons of each subject) is not done on Monday. It makes me so mad and sad and I don't know what to do. Please I do need advice |
Question: Will smoking/vaping once cause an addiction or make me sick as a teenager? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 11:04 PM PST I'm 15 and the kids who vape seem to be in normal health. Some just did it once to see what it's like. They never got into an addiction either. But will it make me sick? Will my parents be able to tell right away? |

Question: I Need help gaining custody of my sister! PLEASE HELP!? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 10:33 PM PST Hello, I am currently trying to get custody of my younger sister, who is 15...I am nearly 22. I have a 4 bedroom house and 3 bath, we have a decent amount of money and my husband is in the military which we are currently stationed in guam, an American territory. My sister is currently in a group home in Kansas and her father is an abusive, alcoholic who signed off his rights. Most of our family is living in Wisconsin and due to circumstances, aren't able to gain custody of my sister. I need advice and honest help on getting my sister. Our mother passed nearly 8 years ago and the social worker in KS currently says that they cant send a request to Guam. HOW do I go about this? Leaving her in the system is not an option and I am the only one with a stable house and income to take her in...what do I do?! Detailed answers would be greatly appreciated! |

Question: Is it bad that I hate my grandma and want her to die? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 08:41 PM PST My Grandma is a horrible person to say the least. It has been almost 16 years since I last saw her. She has made no effort to contact my family even when her son my dad passed away in 2007 when I was 10. She has always preferred her other sons family than mine and won't even make the effort to acknowledge that we exist or to even say hi. It really saddens me that I feel this way and want her to die so I never have to think about her again. To wish death on anyone is horrible but I feel this way towards her. Even when dad was alive she didn't give a **** about us or dad. |
Question: What can a 15 year old woman ask for on her 16th birthday? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 08:13 PM PST I'm turning 16 in April and I don't know for sure what I desire. I'm not into big parties so no sweet 16th. Parents tend to spend less time with their adult kids, so maybe we could all spend family time. Anything else? |

Question: Girls big mature question? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 05:24 PM PST We was 19. My year long gf left to college. I tried having sex with her many MULTIPLE times BUT she told me she was a virgin and wanted to wait. We didn't break up until she was 3 months deep into college then she broke up with me. Out of nowhere a year later she tried to get back into my life. We went on a date after a year break up. On this date i asked her if she dated anyone? she said "nothing serious". She claimed to be a virgin since day one so i was curious to ask how far she got in the dates?. She then wouldn't answer it and kept quite/hush mode. She then began to speed walk to get away from me/ignore my question. I then admitted i slept with one girl. She got mad and talked bad on me. She then dumped me. 2 year later today after this breakup we just started talking all over again. Right away off the bat she said "you just want to bang me be honest but your not so don't bother". Could she still be a virgin today? we are 21 today. It does not add up. It could also be she's tired of men using her for sex idk you tell me!........ |
Posted: 06 Feb 2018 05:01 PM PST I am much older then most in my generation so most years when I do this all of my parent's generation comes but few in mine. I want to attract my generation more to the event. It is an afternoon event at a park so does not involve hotels or anything. |

Question: Should schools get parents of special needs children more involved in certain situations? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 04:28 PM PST Let's say the child did something that was inappropriate compared to a typically developing child who committed the same act. Schools seem to be more likely to get the parents of a kid with disabilities involved. A "normal" child can receive suspensions, a talk, or a detention but usually, their parents are less involved unless it's serious. |
Posted: 06 Feb 2018 04:19 PM PST Very conservative foreign parents tend to not educate about sex and coming-of-age topics. Not understanding English can mean they cannot read what's on the screens. They're often less advanced in technology. Kids can easily lie, and can be accessing adult sites out of curiosity since their parents do not speak with them about it. It is often frowned upon in certain countries for children to know about it. While these parents might limit social media usage, they still have no idea about some things. You can talk with anyone over the Internet. Lots of these kids have parents who are only aware of the dangers THEY grew up with. |
Question: Why does my mom get so worried about me not socializing with other kids? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 03:43 PM PST I don't have friends and I'm happy with it! My mom pushes me to get out there and hang out with people. Even the "popular" kids at school after I told her that they're mean to me. I don't want to be with other people at all, I find my entertainment by myself. My mom says that every person has their ups and downs and that we learn a lot from friends. She thinks I'm missing out in life. There's a lot less drama and I have so much time to do my own things without a social life. It leads to more free time, less homework, and more time at home. |
Question: What's your opinion about conservative parents? Posted: 06 Feb 2018 02:02 PM PST You know those parents that force you to go to church and who are strict |
