It's being over a year and I'm still super attracted to her. We're not close and we don't really talk so I don't really get why I've liked her for so long. We go to different colleges. He is a good person but I just don't understand his logic. So I know we are both adults but he was actually my tutor before he was anything else to me. He helps me with my science classes. I am 18 and he is 22. When I first met him it was just strictly business and he helped me with my school work and that was it. He started to talk to me a lot after he helped me and we stayed in his office until 11 pm one night just talking. He has been face timing me every couple of days now that we are in quarantine. I just finished my first year and the only reason we talked was that I would call him for help and just chat for like 3 hours afterward.I am sexually attracted to him but not physically. he is not ugly but he's not my type. I don't mess around like that anymore and I don't want to get into a relationship just for sex. This guy is really nice, he is genuinely an amazing guy. I just don't think he is the one for me. It's been a few weeks and all he does is play video games or watch tv and he forgets to respond. He takes an hour or hours to text back and sometimes it's pretty dry. He always declines my calls because he says he's not a phone or ft person but he sometimes talks to his guy friends for hours. I don't mind him playing with them or watching tv or anything but it feels like he's putting in little effort because today i had really bad anxiety and he noticed I'm upset and when he asked i told him i couldn't stop crying and i don't feel okay. He didn't respond for an hour and I felt like he should've tried to be there for me after i told him that. Once he responded, he kept asking the same why are you crying question every half hour and it felt like he was asking the same things over again because he just wanted to be able to say he responded. I feel like he is slowly putting in less and less effort and it frustrates me and I'm starting to be dry back to him but he doesn't seem to mind it anymore. Every once in a while he says he misses me and is sweet but he's not acting like the same person i started dating that wanted to hear my voice and would call me before bed and always make sure I'm okay before anything. Keep in mind I'm 19 years old and this is the first time I've had a guy show interest in me like that. He is known to rush into relationships fast and he knows that I'm kinda the opposite so he agreed to go at a pace we were both comfortable with. He told me that he had an urge to kiss me and he knows I've never kissed anyone before. I felt like we were really hitting it off so I decided why not go for it and we were both laying down so it wasn't the best position. It felt awkward for me since it was my first kiss and I've never had any experience. I laughed it off and apologized for being bad at it. He reassured me that it wasn't that bad for it being my first time then he said it could've been worse. When I got home he facetimed me crying and told me that it's not gonna work out and he wasn't ready for a relationship. Days later he told his friend who is also my friend that when we kissed it was awkward and there was not a spark at all for him. A month and a half ago he started dating his ex. He post pictures almost everyday on social media of her and she takes his phone and sends a picture of herself to group chats that me and him are both in. He is sweet,, supportive, easygoing, caring, empathetic(maybe a little too empathic but that makes me feel more protective of him), and very well-read. i have told him about the emotional abuse that I suffered and he expressed a desire to hold me and console me. I sent him an audioclip of me singing Selena's "Dreaming of You" and he said he was touched and that he would save it. I melt whenever I hear him call me "babe" or his "beautiful princess". I look forward to hearing from each day. Whenever I see him smile, I smile. Whenever he's hurting, I wish to console him and take his pain away. He makes me want to be better and try new things. People say that I am ridiculous for thinking that I am in love with him despite only knowing him for one month.....but I think I am actually experiencing love for the first time despite being 24.
