Posted: 03 May 2020 02:15 PM PDT Hey guys! I'm a 22 year old women and I'm having some family issues. They love to gossip about me and call me a whore because I model and I got work done to my body. I'm not invited to any family events, like literally nothing. They also all act like they don't know me anymore. Is that right of them? Like there embarrassed of me |
Question: Are you close to family? If not what are some reasons? I'm not that close.? Posted: 03 May 2020 01:55 PM PDT I come from a small family. I have a mother, father, sister, brother. We are all grown up. My siblings I never talk to. There isn't any drama we just don't talk. They have both lives less then 10 mins from me before and I didnt know where they lived. My parents are both divorced. The guy that my mom is with doesnt like me. The women that my dad is with is kinda crazy and they have been back and forth for years. My parents have helped out in the past so they have been there. My child good was good. When it comes for family get togethers I don't go because I don't think i'm in a real family. It's been 3 years since I've been to a family get together. Answer |
Posted: 03 May 2020 12:55 PM PDT Is there a psychological reason for it? Let's say the brother and sister get along ok and enjoy texting each other but still. Is she afraid of looking vulnerable? When I say affection I'm referring to sharing hugs that sort of things. |
Question: Is the only option I have to sit and take my brother's abuse? I feel hopeless.? Posted: 03 May 2020 12:30 PM PDT I feel my brother is trying every way he can come up with to torment me. He seems like he gets a kick out of upsetting me. I live with my parents, and my brother lives elsewhere. For the past few weeks especially, my brother has been coming down to our house to antagonize me. This is going on nearly every day. One thing he has been doing is he has symptoms of coronavirus and thinks he has it. Because of this he has been coming to our house and doing things intentionally to harass like coughing on me and trying to get too close to me because he thinks it is funny. He also does and says things to make me fear he is going to hit me again ( He has physically assaulted me in the past) I got at my wits end 2 days ago and called the cops on him while he was at our house intentionally harassing me about various things. The cops asked my parents because they are the owners of the house if they wanted him to be removed from the property. Of course my parents said no because they aren't the type to force their own son off their property even though they wish he wasn't there causing trouble. So if the cops can't prevent him from coming on the property because my parents won't say so, that means he's just free to come as he pleases and harrass me right? I feel right now as if I'm powerless in this situation. |

Question: My own mother doesn't want me around? Posted: 03 May 2020 10:42 AM PDT I've spent ten years here doing nothing but trying to help her, handling her problems, looking after her house, listening to her problems, looking after her when she's sick which is often, dealing with family she brings into her and my life and the thanks i get is i don't want to hear about your problems and if you don't like it it's my house, think i want you to leave, i don't ask for anything, I've certainly done more than her other son who only shows up to exploit her and me because i m here, it's like she doesn't get her way and i get threatened, happened for years and i always manage to ride it out, sick to death of being used and having no way to stand up for myself, what do i do? I've got nowhere else to go and I'm dealing with depression babyboomer. Yeah ga41, i was going to try any move out but this coronavirus stopped me, this has happened loads of time before, then she says she doesnt mind either way if i stay, soon as its over i m going to try and move on. snwwflk11.09, ive never get any thanks for what i do and for years I've been sucking it up because i had very little choice, i don't want to anymore, I've had strangers treat me better than my family. |
Question: Mother in-law and sister in-law want to visit. What should I do? Posted: 03 May 2020 09:59 AM PDT A little history- My mother-in-law and sister in-law have always tried to split my husband and I up for 3 decades. They have also gotten involved in family issues when it comes to raising my our children, often time, siding with the kids when we tried to discipline them... one time my sister-in-law and her daughters told me that when the kids grow up my husband will leave me. It's just been a nightmare. They spend their money then expect my husband to bail them out... every since the covid lockdown began, they have been traveling, ignoring suggested stay home orders. My mother in-law is 80. She's a high risk. I myself live in a state that is still locked down with no end in sight. I'm very depressed, taken up drinking... my nerves are shot. Well, my mother and sister in-law informed my husband that they will be making a trip soon. My nerves are already shot and then they drop that on me. I don't want them here on a good day really and now this. For one, they have been traveling all over, no telling what they may bring here and two, they do not respect boundaries. At all. What should I do? I text my mother in-law and told her that it's not a good time. I've been setting boundaries for 3 decades. They are a defiant bunch. I doubt they will come. The last time my mother in-law was here I asked her to leave because she caused some trouble. I haven't seen the sister in-law in 11 years. He goes to see them. It will another 11 years and then some. Thanks everyone ❤️ |
Question: Was it "right," for my Parents to do this to me? Posted: 03 May 2020 09:53 AM PDT First, let me state that I'm an adult(36) and at the age of 28 I had a massive stroke. Of course after this happened to me I was very angry and upset. At the time I felt like the only escape I had from my overbearing Parents was to possibly run away (somehow) with a love interest. Unfortunately, the only love interest I had at the time was a very bad guy that I had gone to high school with. We began an intense online relationship, and would daydream about running away together, because my parents(mostly my religious Mother) hated him. It made my Father so upset He actually went to the courts and filed for guardianship over me. What ensued after that, was an almost daily unspoken pressure for me to give up/stop the lawsuit and lawyer fees and just agree to the guardianship. Because of course I wanted to fight it, as I'm an adult capable of being independent! However, they were steadfast in the belief that I'm disabled and incapable of living on my own, even though I'm basically more intelligent than my own Mother has ever been. At the time they had also confiscated my smart phone, computer, and any electronics I could use to communicate with this man or my friends. Not only that but, they went through my private belongings, finding my online passwords and using them to infiltrate my Facebook. To this day I feel like I'd LOVE to tell them to shove the guardianship(that they pressured me into) up their a$$. |

Question: If I got a bottle of piss and poured it over my father’s grave could I get arrested? Posted: 03 May 2020 08:16 AM PDT My father abandoned the family when I was four and his current wife didn't even tell us when he died. I wanted to have the closure of making a scene at us funeral. I'm 29 now and I will never forgive him as long as I live. He died a year ago and I located his grave on the website. What would happen if I went there and poured a bottle of piss over it, if I did it discreetly could I still get arrested He's in hell without a doubt so I'm not worried about what it does to his memory. I only vaguely remember him but I never had a dad and I hate him for that. |
Question: Is what my mom did as a teenager considered prostitution? Posted: 03 May 2020 07:31 AM PDT So my mom is a millennial or 34 to be exact. She grew up in the ages where internet came when she was a teen and bettee video games too. My mom apparently used to get guys to pay her to play video games with them. The tech was pretty bad back then so she physically went to the boys' places and played for X amount of hours with them until she left. No she did not do anything inappropurate with them or sexual. I think she was like 15-18 when she did this stuff. I was born when she was 19. |
Posted: 03 May 2020 07:22 AM PDT I feel like shes always going against things we just discussed. So I got not what I ordered it felt like and I felt like I dint matter and will eat whatever. I was looking forward to it and waited 2 hrs. Then it was not it. We agreed on hashed browns, eggs over easy and corned beef hash. Instead I got an omelette, undercooked sausage and potatoes with too much sour cream. It stunk like feet because brats is a horrible breakfast choice. No linksu, the order was changed. It's like going to a restaurant and getting something different than you ordered. Blue sky. I dont like suprises |
Question: Who do you resemble, your mother or father? Posted: 03 May 2020 07:05 AM PDT I resemble my mother, but I think i have my father's nose |
Question: My sister is 19, doesn't shower or help with housework. Why is she like that? Posted: 03 May 2020 06:34 AM PDT I am 21, at University and living at home with my parents. I get up early in the morning, go out for a run, have breakfast and always do chores around the house before I leave for University (College). My family and I live in London and my Uni is only a 15 minute walk from my house. Anyways, my sister who is 19 only showers once a week, doesn't ever clean her room, never does any housework and loves to sit in her room all day on her phone. She does have friends who she sees once a month, she also goes University and has a part-time job but she does a 5 hour shift once a week. I am so fed up with her behavior. The reason I am fed up and frustrated is because I have 2 younger brothers with autism and my parents are really busy with both of them. They never have time to relax and also they have given up on her and don't ever speak to her about her very poor hygiene and that she never lifts a finger around the house unless it benefits her. I tried speaking to her nicely and I've screamed in her face but nothing works. She is a very lazy and selfish person who only cares about herself. I know its not my place to tell her to do housework and to shower but I can't help it. I am tired too from juggling all the housework, school, work, volunteer roles and my mental health. My brothers have social services who comes to our house once every few months. Do you think I should talk to them about her and see if that pushes her to change? Why do you think she is this way? |
Question: Can I talk to this with someone? Posted: 03 May 2020 04:36 AM PDT I sweat a lot....and it's really embarrasing....can I talk to this with someone like my teacher who I really trust. Will he laugh at me?o__o |
Question: Opinion on Asking Older Heads ...? Posted: 03 May 2020 12:09 AM PDT Me and my fiance have moved in with my father for the first time since my mothers passing but we have had the opportunity to hold our dog there for the time being. I Spoke with my father about our marriage plans, paid our rent , and got the ok from my father but i have to ask my fathers wifes parents either way and we wanted to pay them 200$ monthly to keep our dog in the room and id pick up after both dogs, but dont know the best route . what do you think ? |
Question: If im at home and get grounded would annoying my parents possibly get me ungrounded? Posted: 02 May 2020 10:48 PM PDT the goal is to make my presense no annoying they want me to lesve so I might do something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arbgB6REBmU do you think this could work? If you are a parent, what would you do if your kid did this? |
Question: Boyfriends mother from hell. ? Posted: 02 May 2020 10:26 PM PDT I moved in with my bf 1 year and 6 months ago after I got pregnant. He convinced me to bring his mom along n said she wouldn't be a problem. LORD WAS I IN FOR IT. She would bring his rude little nephew to my house for weeks at a time even when I told her I wanted my space she would bring her even more. She would throw subs at me. She wouldn't clean but she would cook and help with the baby. It was just an absolute nightmare. On my daughters first birthday we had an argument and she put her fingers in my face and was yelling at me. I left to my mothers and after a week she left to her other sons house. She has 3 sons but wants to live with me and my bf. She says to my bf if u leave ur mom alone u are a bad son. Now she is harassing us to come back, we are in a rental while our house is under construction and she plans to move with us to our house but I don't want to. What should I do? Let her move in and ruin my life so she can watch my kid or should I stick to my guns? Help meeeeeee! |
Question: I ruined the lives of my parents. ? Posted: 02 May 2020 10:24 PM PDT Yeet yah- my mother looked me dead in the eyes and said, ad verbatim, "I HATE MY ******* LIFE!!!!!!!" And walked away. To me. At the ripe old age of 12. This type of experience happened every other day(ish if you average it out) until now. Sometimes more sometimes less. I'm a 22 year old woman and my mother is using me as an object for literal fraud. Actual monetary fraud. Emotional abuse towards my father by my mother skewed my perspective on being alive and I am suffering. How do you force your mom against their will to fix themselves. Come on , mom, this is absolutely bogus and I absolutely cannot do anything without support from other people since I have no self confidence due to being controlled and I am also very unsure of my ability to take care of myself. I don't brush my teeth, I don't brush my hair, I don't bathe and I totally don't want to live. My mom told me (since the only reason I exist is to fix my parents' relationship) that my dad told her that he full-on knew that their marriage was a sham but they had another child (me) SHOULD I FIGHT THEM?! HOW DARE THEY SUBJECT ME TO THESE HORRORS!!! |

Question: Can you be addicted to Roleplay? Serious answers only please? Posted: 02 May 2020 09:03 PM PDT Can you be addicted to Roleplay because I cant last a day without roleplay and I often rp on twitter. I have strong cravings if I dont roleplay. |
Question: What‘s the most challenging question you have heard from a child? Posted: 02 May 2020 08:07 PM PDT No matter who that was: siblings, own kids, random kids on the street, students... What matters is that you couldn't think of an answer to their question. What was it? |
Posted: 02 May 2020 06:50 PM PDT Okay, so basically I live with my dad and stepmom, and I am 16. I no longer speak to my real mom because of things she's done in the past, and I really want to give my birth rights to my stepmom, because other than birth, she's been more of a mother than my real mom. Anyone know if this is possible? If it is, how can I do it, because I want it done.. Thanks for any help. |
Question: How do I convince my parents to let me move to the garage? Posted: 02 May 2020 06:50 PM PDT I'm 16 and I am currently in my house with my parents and my sister. We are all stuck in the house because of quarantine and it's getting a little crowded so I want to move my room to our detached garage. There is already a guest room on top of the garage, I would just want to redo it a little. Plus, I need something to do since I'm stuck home. My sister is supposed to be away at college but because of quarantine her school shut down so she and her dog moved back home. Now we have 4 people and five dogs in the house. And in my room I have 3 pets of my own and it is kinda cramped. My family also doesn't respect my space and they constantly barge into my room. I basically want to move to the garage because it will give me something to do for the next couple weeks, it will give me more personal space, it will allow more space for my pets, and it will give my family more space. Plus it would force me to be more responsible, and I would still be like 10 feet away from the main house. |
Posted: 02 May 2020 05:44 PM PDT Only one she did not fire quit and said she couldn't work for her anymore because of how mean she was. That one later became an alcoholic and would've been the only one they would've had valid grounds to fire since she was drinking on the job of her next boss, this family member's stepsister. That nanny went running to the stepsister for comfort which turn to a big family fight over the babysitter coup. So my question is what makes a boss this hard to work for? I want to know so I don't be a boss like this when I become rich and run a company of babysitters. Finally this relative hired her mother, my grandfather's first wife, and of course she couldn't fire her mother so her mother became a slave. Now they're distant from each other after a family fight. Dysfunctional person you think? So what makes a boss this hard? Like I said I don't want to become one. |
Posted: 02 May 2020 05:41 PM PDT I'm not even that religious of a person but when I look at her I know I'm looking at the Devil, we all do. |
Question: DID I MAKE MY CRUSH think I'm staking him again, please help I'm panicking? Posted: 02 May 2020 04:46 PM PDT so I'm 17 and my crush is a few years older and I got in trouble at my youth group years ago for cyberstalking my crush and harassing him and making new numbers when he'd block and being a creep and its been a few years so I reached out to him again today and asked if we could FaceTime and talk and stuff to socialize bc I need it over quarantine and I'm worried he might think I'm doing it again please help I'm shaking so hard and having a panic attack |
Posted: 02 May 2020 04:30 PM PDT Both of me and my brother has moved out (so please no nag about that), but occasionally stay over at the family house (I have to because i help them with the cats!), I'm a huge fan of bakery snacks (which is bought from my own funds) and they need to be stored in the fridge, but when I'm trying to get some, my brother has already eating up all of it without asking first. Is this considered normal? If you are parent, would you mind your grown up kids who staying over to take whatever they want in the house without asking? ' ...and by grown up, He is 32 and have a job and an apartment, but still treat the family stay overs as everything there is his. This something that frustrate me because we still have to put name label at personal food so my brother doesn't eat all of it. It's annoying because: 1. He don't pay for anything. and 2. He is the type who come unannounced so sometimes you don't have time to put name labels on it. When I stay over, I try to help paying (for my part), which is why it's a problem for me as well. Shouldn't a 32 years old KNOW how to ask before taking others stuff? I'm thankful its just food and not money... |
Question: Is it normal for a 26-year-old to be demanding and bratty like a nine-year-old? Posted: 02 May 2020 03:18 PM PDT My sister is like this but I'm wondering if it's perfectly normal. She was not disciplined very well as a child because of family dynamics. For example she had a complete meltdown in a hotel room when my father asked her to carry my toothpaste we were coming back from a wedding a year ago and I couldn't carry it on the airplane per flight rules. |
Question: My fiance is fat, lazy, wont exercise, took up smoking, and is full of health problems? Posted: 02 May 2020 03:08 PM PDT We fight a lot because she wont change. I'm so frustrated and miserable in this relationship. She told me to just move out if I'm unhappy? How can she say that when usually shes smothering the crap out of me at almost an anoying rate. I'm not attracted to fat people, smokers, or potheads. She wants more than I do, and I'm not exactly mr six pack abs. I dont work out as much because when I do she treats me like a male stripper. Where is the motivation in that? I almost feel like theres nothing driving me to better myself in this relationship. We sleep a lot, I'm becoming lazy too. I used to be so active. Theres a million things to do around here. Shed be ok if the floor touched the ceiling with clutter. I feel like I cannot stand being around her sober. She gets on my nerves a lot. So what do I do? I'd actually miss her if I moved out. Are we together too much 24/7? |
