Question: What was he doing? ? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 05:54 PM PDT Two years after being rejected by our best friend Simone, last December, Greg gave me a necklace for my birthday and perfume for Xmas. He talked and sat with me, acted interested with flirting and then when I talked to him about it, he said he just wants friendship and that's it. I recently heard he's been texting my friend a lot and he still invites our friends out without me. |
Question: What's the best way to make friends in college? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 05:41 PM PDT I'm a Sophomore (going into Junior year) and I deadass have no friends. I had a few this past year but one of them is going to move into his frat, another is moving into the honor's college, and one is a girl (one of my friend's girlfriends) and wouldn't want to hang out with just me anyway. I'm going random for a roommate because I have no choice. Towards the end of the year, I tried to meet a few new people but it seemed like every time I tried it got shut down. Then the whole corona thing happened and now there's legit no chance I can make new friends this year. Any tips on next year? |
Posted: 07 Apr 2020 04:51 PM PDT Lets say that person made a mistake and depending on whatever they did..they apologized sincerely for it and you say I'll forgive you but I'll never forget does that mean that person broke your trust And I know that forgiveness dosent instantly restore trust ..if the person made a promise to you and change the way they behaved and let's just say this person was a close freind of yours would you give them a second chance yes or no And I'm just asking nothing bad happened..its just that I hear a lot of people say this |
Question: What does it mean when a friend says "I need space"? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 04:45 PM PDT 3 weeks ago my friend told me he needed space and blocked me after I kept on asking him why. Because in my mind I'm thinking his goal is to end our friendship in a nice way. Then last week I texted him on a different number asking for the status of our friendship and he said "bro were still friends , I need space". But I still don't know what he means by this. And I want to believe he actually needs space for personal reasons but later I found out he was still texting his other friends while I'm currently blocked. So I'm thinking either he wants to end the friendship or he actually needs space because knowing him as a direct person if he intends to end the friendship he'll say it like times before. So what do you guys think? |
Question: Which do you feel like is more important and why? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 04:18 PM PDT Is it about how many friends you have or having just a few good friends? I'm generally happy with just a few good friends. I feel like the quality aspect is what really matters because you could have a lot of friends but if they just treat you like crap, then they aren't really your friends. |
Question: Is this person officially lame!? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:49 PM PDT My Mother has a friend that is a few years older than me and She has a few kids. I sincerely don't understand WHY She hangs out with my Mom who is nearly 20 years older. Personally, I don't like this woman. She is married, has three children, and I suspect because She has low self esteem She marries the wrong types of men. She is a devout Christian, whose idea of fun was a road trip to the Creationism Museum. As a fellow adult woman I find Her incredibly annoying. Here's one example. While on this trip it took Her and my Mother two hours, TWO HOURS to decide on which show they should see at the museum. It took so long in fact, that tickets to the show they finally decided on were sold out. She is just generally unsure of Herself, quiet, sheltered, and not very intelligent. |
Question: Should I have pushed my friend to take a promotion? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:09 PM PDT A friend of mine asked for my advice. He asked if I would be excited if he took a manager position and I said yes. But i didn't do much convincing... He ended up not taking the promotion, and I don't know how I feel about that. What am I supposed to do in this situation |
Question: How am I related to my friend? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:01 PM PDT If my friends sister marries my nephew are we related? And if so, how? |
Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:00 PM PDT Is it bad to be best friends with someone who complains a lot? |
Question: Why are people so apologetic to me now that I’m successful in what I do? ? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 12:53 PM PDT |
Posted: 07 Apr 2020 12:45 PM PDT My BFF has told me for awhile that she's not going to leave out of my life and I am gonna do the same too so is it ok if I tell her that we don't have to talk much? We don't talk everyday though |
Question: Should I tell my friend I cant hang out with him anymore because he is so dirty? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 11:28 AM PDT this has been weighing on my mind...I simply cannot go over there anymore...he is disgusting and he smells really bad. is this something you should tell a long term friend...or slowly fade away |
Question: How do you deal with your cousin calling you from messenger all the time? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 10:15 AM PDT He calls me like 24/7 and it's annoying he calls me when I'm asleep. In the bathroom, in the shower and when I hang out with people. It is annoying and is it rude by any chance? |
Posted: 07 Apr 2020 09:03 AM PDT I'm fixing to be 28 and my friend just turned 18 |
Question: Should I call her family? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 08:53 AM PDT So, I have a friend who is a webcam model. We have talked about possibly hanging out in the future. She has had a hard time with money recently due to corona like everyone and has been a little behind on bills. Plus she has been ill. She complained of a pain on her side one week and then the other week said it was " that time of the month" but that she was in so much pain she couldn't think. Last year she had to go to the hospital for a UTI. I wonder if it is the same thing again. We were supposed to chat online a few days ago but she didn't show up and it looks like she hasn't been online in over a week. Plus she missed a week of work already due to being ill. I have left messages and no answer. This seems very unusual because I know she really needs to work and she also doesn't miss appointments. I am really worried about her. I know her name and how to reach her next of kin on Facebook. Should I try to contact them to see what is up? I don't know here next of kin and feel it would be a bit awkward to reach out. But I am really worried. |
Question: If you tell someone four times that you have to go and they keep talking, what do you do? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 08:09 AM PDT I have a chatty friend but today she was worse than normal. I said I've gotta go eat im getting light headed, and she just kept on and on so I finally put the phone down and she just kept talking and when she realized I wasn't there she hung up. I feel bad sort of but I feel she wasn't respecting me so I did what I did. Anyone else have a solution? |
Question: Do I have a right to be mad at my friend for dm'ing my friend/crush? ? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 07:44 AM PDT Friend is A, friend/crush is B. I made a post on my instagram and was talking to B through my comments, and this is where A decided to join in. A has never met B, never talked to B, only knows he exists because I've talked about him to her, bc I had a crush on him. So I thought it was odd that she decided to join our comment thread and said hi to him, but I didn't care. Then she said she had a question. I immediately messaged her and asked what the question was, and she said "dont worry about it". Then she decided to dm him so I wouldn't know what she said, and she wrote that in my comments. At this point I was pissed and stopped responding to her messages, because I said not to say anything to him. The reason why I'm so defensive here is because although I'm referring to B as my crush, I am perfectly fine just being friends with him and given both our situations that is what is best for us. A has no boundaries in what she tells people. She told me in detail once about her friend attempting to end his life, and I wasn't a friend of his, nor was she asking for advice. She used it as gossip. I dont want her to make my friendship w B awkward bc of something she could say that I confided in her in about him. Do I have the right to be beyond mad at her? She said in the past she would dm him and I strictly told her not to. I just dont understand what the purpose was of her doing this. Btw, she has no interest in him, so I'm not concerned about her taking him from me or whatever. Edit: Don't leave a comment if you aren't going to be helpful. I genuinely want advice on whether or not I'm being irrational. |
Posted: 07 Apr 2020 03:51 AM PDT now i am 17. apparently i missed everything to enjoy while u r a teenager. 3 years i never went out with any friends, i missed prom this year, never had actuall friends, never went to parties, never got wished for my birthday... how do i deal with all that? and am i late to recover all what i missed? and how? |
Question: How can I get revenge without going to jail? ? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 03:33 AM PDT I'll keep this short. This guy in my old high school kept harassing me and ******* embarrassed me. He and his friends even harassed me in a group once. I got so upset I swung at one of his friends and missed... I felt so ******* humiliated and worthless. I'm in a new school but I cannot let go of this anger and hatred I have towards this ************ and his friends. I plan on going back to that old high school and waiting for him outside and attacking him when he comes out. But what would be another way to get revenge without possibly getting arrested? And if you're gonna say to just "live well and Be successful " don't answer at all. I don't wanna hear that Bs. |

Posted: 06 Apr 2020 11:24 PM PDT i have a friend named jason. he's nice and funny sometimes but he'll just make remarks that i don't agree with at all. like he'll say stuff like "bruce jenner is disgusting, honestly he? she? it?" and "women can't cook, but make me a sandwich anyway." he says the n-word all the time and i constantly tell him to stop but he says that it's just a word. to defend himself he says that if people are allowed to call us crackers he should be allowed to say the n-word and i can't fathom how he could even think that. also he just completely degrades my issues any time i bring anything up. like if i mess up once it'll be a big deal. "why did you do that? just why? why would you do that?" and i'll explain i didn't mean to but it doesn't work. he calls people with disabilities disgusting names and i don't even know what to do anymore. i've tried speaking with him and asking him to stop because when he's not saying terrible stuff then he can be an ok person to be around. distancing doesn't work because whenever i don't answer a phone call he keeps calling until my phone dies. when i'm doing something important i tell him but he does it anyway. it stops video recordings i'm doing and it gets to the point where i just stop my life to speak with him. i don't know, he thinks that everything's just a big joke and that it's okay to say offensive and degrading things. how should i get him to stop? |
Question: Where do guys sleep when they have a sleep over or stay the night? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 11:02 PM PDT My best friend and I are planning on hanging out after the coronavirus situation is over. He invited me to hang out with him and stay the night at his house. He used to invite another friend over but they had issues and don't talk anymore. Now that I am going to stay the night and play video games, I was just wondering where guest(s) to a sleep over sleep? I was assuming that he would sleep in his bed since his video game console is in there and we would spend all the time in his room. Am I supposed to sleep on the floor or in the bed or something? |
Question: What would you think if you were in this situation? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 08:18 PM PDT I was close friends with a group of people. I had to move states, and decided to just cut of any sort of contact (because what's the point?) Never did anything malicious towards them, but now they're mad. Is this right? |
Question: Manipulative or genuine? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 08:13 PM PDT I used to be "friends" with this girl. She started a rumor about me, and I stopped being friends with her. A couple of hours ago, with all the corona virus thing happening, she texts me. Something along the lines "I hope you're doing okay. blah blah blah". Is this genuine? or are people like her just fake? thoughts? |
Question: Am I being way too paranoid? ? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 07:19 PM PDT Friend asked me if I give interviews at my job. Said he was curious? I'm paranoid he thinks I can't give one lol? Am I overthinking it too much lol.. |
Posted: 06 Apr 2020 06:27 PM PDT A friend of your friend is talking about you and you can hear it(which they dont know of) They ask your friend: "Does *your name* even care about wars/sexual abuse etc? then your friend goes: Naah, he/she only works his/hers **** off with her/his hobbies how would you feel? |
Question: Is this the area or is this normal? ? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 06:21 PM PDT The county right next to me I would call it B county, every time I go into it, if like I go to a fast food place or restaurant, all the waitresses or women working there are all cheerleader type girls and women. They are all beautiful, though stuck up however. The general slew of guys working there usually are the football player type. The people are strictly all white and a few civilized black women and Some other races. The cheerleader girls working there all have a 'hooters body'.In my home county where I live I'd call it j county, the restaurant or fast food place you go to, you see the run of the mill women, ugly fat, lesbian etc. Also you see people working there in wheelchairs. You see a whole lot of diversity there, black people foreign people. You don't see any white guys for some odd strange reason unless they are disabled in some way or a wigger. There is a hooters in my home area but they some strange reason hire ratchets at it instead of usual hooters women. In the hooters where I live there are probably 1 or 2 white women working there as of a whole, it is all black women, Asian women, and other races. The common thing about all the women working there is that they all talk in Ebonics, and act like they are in da hood. In my home area I mention that other county I travel to those folks and they slam that place as being redneck and they avoid that place at all costs. They seem very prejudice Against that side of town. |
Question: Am I a toxic friend in this situation? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 06:14 PM PDT Our friendship started out great and I am selfless when it comes to friendships and relationships so I really did try to do everything for them without even them asking me to do. Now I've realized that all this time they cared only 20% about me while I gave my 100% and I think they are pretty toxic.. or is it me I'm very confused, they're selfish and a bit narcissistic. I tried to break it off with them but it feels weird when you have never complained to them about being a bad friend but you suddenly want to break it off. I feel bad now being distant with them because there was a time when we were really really close but now sometimes I feel bad for changing like this but I had no choice. I am very anxious about this whole situation. |
Question: Does he like me? Or can he really be confused? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 04:13 PM PDT If a guy says "Maybe I did things to led you on I'm sorry. And "I don't know how I feel" And "everything is going to work out how it's suppose to" And "we're gonna figure this out, let's just be 100% honest with each other" We're in college and he went home about an hour or two away because of the virus. His city Is on stay at home orders. He still responds to my texts for example I texted him "hey hope your doing well :)" he said "I , thanks ( my name). hope you are too 😊" We even hung out about 10 days Ago with other word friends before he went home. |
