So recently i have had some bad friends mostly girls last year in school but i left the high school especially one girl who told me she liked me even though i clearly wasnt into her and it ruined our friendship because i didnt want to be around her because it was weird and awkward now since now everytime i am around her all i can think about is how she really like liked me even though i just liked her as a friend so i am no longer friends with them and then i made 26 imaginary friends. I am 20 years old and ill admit that sounds weird since i am 20 but let me to tell you if you had bad friends like me you would want to just make imaginary friends as well. Anyways thats besides the point i obviously gave most of them normal real people names and not random weird names like carly, nicole, tyler and justin and etc and one of my imaginary friends i really got along with really well and her name is lizzie and she is really sweet. Ill descrive ill describe her she is a skinny white skinned redhead girl and she is really sweet and we got along really well and now she is my imaginary girlfriend and we are really happy together and we both love each other so much. i personally dont find it weird at all cause no one will now but we really love each other and i happen to have a thing for white skinned skinny redhead girls so it kind of worked out that one of them happened to be the kind of people i am into by the way they are people  they arent like those weird monster or other kind of creatures kind of imaginary friends and girlfriend there are actually people or humans just they are imaginary  if you know what i mean

Why do people continue to call and text you after you make it clear you want nothing else to do with them?

I'm a 21 year old guy. Back in July. I started following this girl on Instagram that was in my suggested. She was cute and we had people in common. Plus, we like similar hobbies and such. Anyhow, I asked her out after trying to build with her and she said no. But I liked her and kept her on my page. She never likes my stuff and clearly doesn't like me. I kept going. She actually shopped at the store I work at so we did meet in person briefly before. Anyhow, she posted about how she makes earrings. And I said "That would be great for my sister for Christmas" and she said she would make some for my sister. I am shopping for my sister, but also I thought maybe it would be a reason to meet this chick in person so she could see how cool I am. Then she told me she wants to ship them for her Etsy shop. Which means, I don't get to meet her in person AND I have to pay her $15. I'm screwed. Because she made these earrings special and spent time. It's not her fault I was scheming and being a con artist so I could meet her. But I work HARD for my money and don't want to buy these earrings I don't really want. I don't want to be a "nice guy" and pay this. But I feel wrong ignoring her. What the hell do I do?

I have two "friends" and last month we met two other girls and our group grew and we are now 5 friends. Anyways, we have a group assignment in college and we all decided to do this together.Today, one of the girls texted me and said this exactly: "Nicole, we think we are too many for the group assignment so do you mind working with another team?"(Mind you that our professor didn't give any limit and even tough the five of us all agreed on our team in the beginning, they suddenly realised that we're too many...)It hurts me a lot to be honest. I was really upset with it and here's my reply: "I don't know anybody else but it's okay."Now I'm not in the group for the assignment and I have to find other people to work with but they all already have their teams and I don't know anybody else here. The assignment is due in two weeks and I'm so worried that I won't find anyone and fail the class.I'm really upset about the whole thing. I've always been so nice to them... :(I'm sorry for complaining but I really needed to talk to someone and I have nobody here with me right now. Why did they do this? I thought I could trust them... oh well...

So my friend nathan is a smoker. I'm not. Sometimes we hang out and it really bothers me that I get to breath that smoke. Sometimes we hang out outside but when it rains or if it's cold we usually go to his house. He lives alone..I thought about hanging at my house but I got a newborn son and it's not really the best solution going at my house cause he could just wake up and we should all talk quietly... I wouldn't mind going at nathan's but it's that damn smoke.... I know lots of smokers with whom I'm much more closer than with him and they have the decency to just don't smoke when I'm with them. Nathan smokes..I thought about asking him not to smoke in my presence but at his house I think it would be sort of rude. After all he doesn't smoke when he's in my car.. what should I do? We're not close enough so that I can tell him 'dude knock that sh*t off".. How shall I tell him that?

So I'm the kind of person who would do anything for others. It's really hard for me to say no to something and even if I try to say no I just can't. I was raised to help other when they need help. But whenever I needed help from other no one was there for me and they just used me for their own good and don't even care about me.

I will try to make this as short as I can. I am a 27 year old female and I have a close friend that's 60 and she has known my family for a long time and me and her became friends 3 years ago. I worked for her briefly and I do have problems socially and also with boundaries some and I have been hurt a lot in the past but this friend that I am talking about has shown me what a true friend is and she said she is not going to leave. I think about her a lot and I get really sad when I don't see her for awhile it's like I start having withdrawals. I used to text her a lot in a row but I have backed off. She has a husband and 2 adult kids. I view her as like a second mom because I don't feel close to my own mom that I live with. I think I might be obsessed with this friend though or is it a fixation? I know I don't want to be this way anymore because I know it is a problem and I have gone to therapy for this but it hasn't helped and I just have never found the right therapist anyway 

My high school only had classes for a half day so my good friend Ann invited me to join her and her family for lunch. I said yes. I though we might go to Mc Donalds or maybe Sizzler. Was I surprised when we went to Ruth Chris. That is the mot expensive restaurant I had ever been in. That was not my only surprise. Ann's dad was a great looking guy. Her dad said I look familiar to him and he ask me if we had met. I told him no. I would sure remember if I had ever met him. He said perhaps it is your mother I have met. What is her name? When I told him, he said I don't know anyone by that name. What was her maiden name? When I told him he had a big smile on his face. He said "I went to high school with your mom". You really had a VERY beautiful mom. Tell her Joe Jones (not his real name) says hello. What is she doing now? Thinking it might be fun to tell mom I had a dinner date with an old boyfriend of hers, I asked him if he ever dated my mom in high school. He smiled and said no, I asked her for a date a few times and she turned me down every time. What was my mom thinking turning down a date from a RICH and GREAT LOOKING GUY? My first thought was to tell mom about this lunch when I got home. After giving it more thought, I am not sure she would want to hear about it. Moms, please give me some advice on what I should do. Would you want to hear about my lunch date?

Okay my friend has asperger syndrome and social anxiety his 25 years old never had a girlfriend before. He always strike up conversation with strangers in the public transit, coffee shop,gym and airport whenever he hear a topic that interest him. He was still wondering that does he have confidence in him since sometimes random people are rude to him some are nice it depends on the person he still sometimes scare to talk to people but he still willing to put the work out there to strike up conversation.

I have been going out with this guy off for a few years and my good friend knew about it. Then since October 1 for some reason he stopped talking to me. I invited him to a school dance and he never responded. Then when I was talking to my friend recently she let it slip out that he was taking her to the dance and I said well, that's fine but you didn't need to let me know that and especially since he didn't even let me know he didn't want to go with me. I sent him a rude email letting him know that I felt he should have let me know and my friend said that my message was rude and offensive but I was just letting him know. Anyway they went to the dance together but I don't feel like talking to my friend because I think she could have not told me to not hurt my feelings bc she knows how much I liked him. He had even gave me a promise ring earlier so we were not just casually dating. What should I do? Appreciate an answer

My 30th birthday was yesterday. My friends and I were all supposed to go to the casino. I flew home (I live far from my hometown.) I didn't have my car and none of my 4 friends wanted to drive so I went with my family instead. My friends and I had planned to meet up today instead since my flight leaves tomorrow to go back home.  Unfortunately, they are getting a snowstorm here tomorrow and my flight got cancelled. I am able to get on today's flight. This would allow me to get to work Monday as well. My friend wrote me this text message back  "This should have been thought out. You should have gotten a flight for this Tuesday or Wednesday instead of today knowing we all had plans to hang out. You should have had a backup knowing your flight would likely be cancelled. It's not wind. It's rain and snow. Of course they will cancel. I'm just irritated. If it's an emergency I understand, but this affects me too. My days off are limited. When it ends up inadvertently affecting me, yea that's upsetting" I'm kind of offended should I even bother responding to her? What would you do?

Sorry for my English. I called a friend asking if he could deliver/sell me something from his business that was worth 10 dollars. That friend, ill call him A, asks B, someone i don't care about, to take him to my house. When they get there B asks me for gas money for making him drive all the way to my house when i didn't. I asked A and whichever way that he'd need to come to me was his problem. All he had to do was tell me no. I didnt ask B to do A a favor that's between them. And then he started cursing me out so i cursed him back and then he wanted to fight which felt like a waste of my time all for something that has nothing to do with me. I've never been in a fight and i dont plan in being in one cause i feel like i could just walk away and do something better with my life then act like a monkey. But do you think that fighting would be about honor or would you had just walked away? Another friend of mine says that he would have fought him. I always do favors to A and give him free rides when I can. We help each other out. I've never liked B and i haven't seen him in 5 years.

My best friend was recently asked out by a boy she really liked. She decided she was going to go out with him. The problem, I have also had a huge crush on the same boy since 6th grade. (currently in 9th grade) I told her this and she said she wouldn't date him if I didn't want her to. I didn't want to be rude though so I told her to go ahead. They're going on their first date soon and it's absolutely unbearable. I've cried every night for the past two weeks over this because it makes me so sad to think about them together. On one hand I really want to say something and tell her, on the other I don't want to take away the chance for her to date a boy she really likes. What do I do. Do I let myself be devastated and let my friend get with my crush or do I say something and hope she doesn't get mad. 

I have a x friend who won't return my belongings & tells me in a text message that  after she talks to the police about it than they will tell me when can get my belongings  from her. I let her borrow my Microwave due to her New apartment didn't have one already.  I let her borrow a Box fan that I had just bought me. What can I do?

I have a friend that talks to herself about how life is meaningless and about wether she should commit suicide or not, to make stuff a little clear she and my sister are friends too since they both go to the same grade and same school. The other day she was talking to herself about life, and I told my sister that she should probably tell her parents since she is the one that sees them more, and she said that she already told them but my friend denied everything my sister said. To make matters worse instead of actually paying attention to their daughter her parents like to go shopping most of the time, they still care for her but they don't find her mental health that important since she denies it all. What can I do to help out my friend and what do I tell her parents?

So long story short my husband is 25 and I'm 20. He is always going out with his friends, getting drunk and it was a really big problem in our relationship Bc night after night I was alone until 2-5 am. Well I've decided that he was a party guy before we got married so I really shouldn't put all the blame on him for lol being him. Anyways I've decided that if I make some friends it could help me not feel so lonely. I just don't know how. My 5 siblings and I grew up with just each other as friends. Our parents were pretty strict so were weren't "allowed" to make friends or rather hang out with them etc granted we were the weird family in town so it's not like friendships were falling in our laps lol .. and my dad wasn't the type to go out drinking with his buddies. He went to work and came straight home everyday. So I never learned how to make friends...from anyone...most days the only person I talk to is my husband. We have one car and he has it all day for work so I'm stuck a lot of the time.... so where do I start? Do I join a group of some sort? I'm not in school. I just really wanna take control of my life and my happiness.. :)

My friend, her daughter, is very ill and disabled herself. She can't handle the emotional problems anymore that come with the financial care of her mom.Shes glad she's in a great place but her life is getting harder too and she needs someone else to take the reins for her mom and no other family members will do it. the mothers money pays for her care.Can the boyfriend of 38+ years get power of attorney so he can deal with it?Does my friend need an attorney for help? No one at the home is offering her help.

I only have one best friend so I always go out alone the majority of my time. I mean I could go to a bar ( I don't drink ) have fun and talk to ppl or I could just roam around the city but I'm too freaken lazy since it's so cold outside. Should I stay home watch movies instead  What should I do? Please someone tell me what to do I'm too lazy 😖😴

So me and my friend was talking and hanging out . And everything was good but some how we go on this subject about sharing our high school yearbook pics . And they said I'm not showing you mine it's private. And then tried to make me show mines . But the fact they even said it's private just make me look at them different. Because I would of never said that to them, And what's the point of being friends and talking if you don't wanna share information. Also the way they said it just seem like they didn't trust me . So now I'm just finna give them and myself some space . But they keep going on with the conversation like everything was cool . But it doesn't sit well with me being treated like that . So any Opinions on this situation?
