I've been isolating myself from a group of friends for about 3 weeks I want to talk to them again but im afraid to

I am a 27 year old female and I have a couple of friends that don't think it's good to go for months without talking to me but then I have started to question is that even healthy for them to think that's ok? I'm just curious

Senior in hs no friends and Idk how I'm going to prom it would be embracing to go alone. I can be outgoing sometimes but making friends is not easy for me idk

So basically my imac keeps booting to a ? screen and nothing else which means the HDD failed, but sometimes it boots normally, othertimes it boots to the ? screen. help

My friends all either ignore me or insult me. I'm tired of constantly being told to go away, told I'm fat, ugly, boring, stupid, annoying, etc., getting yelled at when I defend myself, and just being treated like dirt. I'm currently recovering from an eating disorder and my friends always call me fat, and it's made me realize that I really shouldn't spend time with them. They are constantly making fun of me for everything. I need to cut ties, but how?

The women that I run across, maybe single but just sticks together with a bunch of guys. These guys all dress the same talk the same act the same and physically look alike and are of an athletic build. They aren't differential from each other in any way form or fashion. These guys tends to be arrogant belligerent, coercive, rude and sometimes loud. These guys are commonly referenced as brothers, but sometimes called bros and sometimes called frat boys. These guys are usually in the military or end up there. These women i come across just sticks with these bros brothers whatever you call them. They proclaim if you cannot roll with the guys then you will not have anything like relationships with them, friendship with them. But the thing here is that they don't hang out with a standard bunch of guys! When I have attempted to be around those bros brothers whatever you call them, the women kept trying to instill to them that I had a 'different personality' and she was disgusted at me being a different way than they were. The guys were downright hostile towards me, accusing me of being gay or a male b I t c h and harass or try to fight me. I didn't get my acceptance from these 'bros' and therefore the girls and women leave me cold and don't have anything to do with me. Some of these women would say 'if I had anything to do with him (me) I would have to do it alone he isn't like my guy friends (brothers) and couldn't hang with them. I'm 31 and this crap is still going on.

i always went out with these two girls on weekends then another girl started coming and i slowly started getting pushed away. They started always inviting her out and didn't let me know they went out. This girl does weed and then they started doing it, but i don't want to do weed, they are f*cking 14!! One of the girls boyfriends broke up with her after 2 years because she started doing it and refused to stop. It's not that though, when i do go out with them i'm just constantly being left out. The same girl with the boyfriend posted on her instagram spam account "faves" with the two girls and the other girl. I was there the day they took that. I'm starting to feel like i'm not good enough, nobody likes me and i feel proper boring, it's making me really upset and making me start to not like them, but it's not just happened with these people. It happens to every person i become close too i'm sick of it

The owner waited until they paid this months rent to say that they are being evicted. Is this right? How can I help them?

Me and my best friend were waiting outside a classroom to go into r next lesson after lunch but we were early and no one else was there. She started to give me a lapdance that I rlly didn't want (it made me rlly uncomfortable because I'm straight (she is too) (we're both girls) and I wouldn't want to do anything like that with boys yet let alone girls) then she told me I had to return the favour and give her one. I really didn't want too and luckily someone cane round the corner just after she said it. But I don't want to say anything because she's my best friend and I rlly do my want to spoil the friendship. I just wanted to know if I was overreacting to this or not? Sorry it's long.

My best friend was amazing, We did everything together and every chance we got we were spending time together. He was the only thing that made me happy and he was such a great person and friend. The other day I was at his house and I was spending the night. He mentioned being friends with benefits and I went along with it. After that happened everything was normal. When I went home the next morning, I texted him as frequently as I could and his replies were getting shorter until they stopped coming at all. I thought maybe he was just away but he was still active on social medias. After 3 days of being left on delivered I assumed he just didn't want to talk. I tried to ask for an explanation, I was left on read. I have never in my life felt so depressed, hopeless and sad. I have no idea what to do. Like I said he was the literal only reason why I was happy and now he's gone. Somebody help, what should I do :(

My best friend Zoe and I get along really really well. And I totally feel like I fit in with her when we hang out together. But whenever she's hanging out with either my friends or her friends, she completely ignores me. And my friends always end up liking her way more than me and then they just ignore me. For example, I was hanging out with her at my house and some of my neighborhood friends came to hang out with us, and then she stops talking to me and just starts talking to them and then they all just hang out together and exclude me. Then i felt really left out :( And now they're all treating each other like "best friends" and leaving me out. And occasionally they'll be like, "Hey Kennedy, u ok?" to me and I'll say, "Ya I'm fine." And they all ignore me when I say something but when Zoe says something they all acknowledge what she said. My best friend ignores me when she hangs out with other people but treats me fine when it's just me and her and maybe one other person. why is this? why do i feel so insecure?

Last week I came back from my vacation and my co worker wants to know how my trip went. I asked her if she wanted to go get something to eat after work next Friday so I can tell her about it. She said yes and now the day before my manager wants me to work 10hrs. I mentioned that to her and asked if she still wants to go she said "yeah I do, do you mind if I bring my nephew?" What should I say to her? Should I postpone it and go out another day?

My daughter is 8 and she has a friend who's mother is trying to make them best friends and I am not sure how to decline this. My daughter is friends with this girl but doesn't consider her a "best friend". My husband and I are not encouraging her to have a "best friend" but to be friends with everyone per se. The mom is now asking to buy gifts for the girls with best friend sayings. I am trying to figure out how to discourage this without causing problems between the girls or between us the parents. I am not terribly friendly with this mom but we do get along ok. .

Sitting here at work yesterday an older female co-worker got highly upset because she said that her daughter called her mad. She said that her daughter doesn't drive and was apparently walking to lunch when another co-worker passed her in her car, blew her horn, and waved at her. This woman said that her daughter, who doesn't drive, had mentored this girl on their job and helped her get ahead in the company but she was upset, I guess, because this co-worker didn't stop to give her a ride. The girl was so upset that she called her mom, my co-worker, which infuriated my co-worker. Her daughter is a grown woman not some teenager. She said that she really wanted to go give this other woman a piece of her mind. I'm sorry but since when is it a crime to not pick someone up? Are we obligated to give everyone a ride simply because they don't have a car or drive? Maybe this girl wasn't going her way. Maybe she was leaving for the day so no reason giving her a ride somewhere if she can't hang around to give her one back. But I've found that people who don't have cars pretty much know they are going to be walking so they can't get mad when someone doesn't offer them a ride. Why is my co-worker mad? She walked around all afternoon talking about being a protective momma hen.

Last year I moved to the other side of the country and went back to college because of this everyone in my class is 3 years younger then me although I get on with them I want friends me age:( I work at a furniture shop which is full of oldies and the past year has been awful because before moving I was very social and now I have no friends, does anyone have any advice for me?

Nearly a year ago, I got into with some girl who legit did awful things to my son and I and spread awful rumors about me. I cut contact with her and everyone involved because they don't even like me anyway.. Yet they keep following my pages on social media. And I bet it's probably to see if I'm talking **** about her, in which I'm not. It's been months! Why do they still care? It's ******* annoying.

Recently I told him my parents like him and want me to date him. He said that he thinks us hooking up should just be a one-time thing but that he enjoyed our time together. He said that he didn't want me to think that this was going somewhere. He said that he thinks I m stunning that he loves my body and pictures. And that he will always accept them with open arms. I told him that I don t want a relationship and that I only want sex. And he replied telling me not to stop sending him pictures though. All I want is sex with him and nothing more. When we first started talking he asked me if I would ever be with him and another woman. I told him I had never had sex before but I've had awhile to think about it. And it's something that I want to try at least once. I was going to tell him I wanted to try it before all this mess happened.

I'm thinking wanna get away from home, get away from anywhere. Get away from family. Thinking maybe find one of campground that having concerts. Really concerts aren't my thing but want get into crowds of people and have fun with crowds. So need advice, whenever I see group of people walk together, should I join and walk with them? Or don't bother people unless people invite me? Thinking what's best way get laid from any female at campground concert. Find female who is by herself? Or should I force myself to join them and then see if they will tell me to go away? What's best opportunity to get a one night stand? Stay there for awhole weekend or just only one night?

I'm in my 30's and I haven't had friends in 2 years. It's not that I can't make friends. I'm not a socially awkward guy. I do go out to bars sometimes. I play basketball also. I notice as you age it can be harder to make friends. I usually just meet co workers or people at bars. I learned to not make friends at the workplace. Or people I play basketball with. So I thought about dating. When I was younger I used to have drinking buddies. Thst got old for me. I still go out and drink but I think drinking buddies gets too old.

I'm a 21 year old guy. I'll start talking to a girl I like, make a plan to get ice cream, coffee, etc. and it's all super friendly with no romantic interest. I feel so pathetic. My dating experience is limited, I've never had my first kiss, nothing. I get friendly hugs. I feel so pathetic. How can I fix this? I'm an amazing worker, best at my job in the entire building. I'm a great guitar player, snow boarder, and race car driver. Why can't I get a romantic angle with girls? I don't want to be "like a brother".

I'm 17 year old boy. 5'11 and 150 lbs (I'm muscular and have a thin mustache, not cowboy style). I'm a blue belt Taekwondo student at a dojo and everyone knows. One of my classmate told me that "girls are afraid of me". FYI, this guy is one of the badass in school and he never bullied me. Instead he said that strange comment about me. what is he trying to say? PS: I never got in fight with any of the female classmates. and I have a close female friend in the class. 150 lbs is not skinny dude.... sorry what he told me "girls are afraid of YOU....".... forgot I was quoting him...

Was it worth it? Why or why not? When was yours, was it before or after social media began? My 10 year high school reunion takes place next month at a brewery. The tickets are $50/person and if you want to bring your spouse (which I assume most people would want to), you have to pay for their ticket, too. I personally don't find it worth it because my fiance and I don't have $50-$100 to shell out for an event where I am going to go, hug a few people and then leave. I highly doubt I'd stay more than an hour. Sure, I went to high school, middle school and even elementary school with most of those people, but I don't have this amazing desire to reunite with them again. This is the day and age of social media, so I figured if I want to know how somebody from high school is doing, I'll just look them up on Facebook or Instagram. I have MAYBE 5 people from that school on my friends list on FB and that's good enough for me. Would you find it worth going to?
