| Posted: 18 Mar 2017 06:01 PM PDT My friend (she s more like my best friend, but she doesn t like using that term) is dating someone who I used to consider my "brother", but after forcing her to do a lot of stuff (confidential) I just started hating his guts to the point where we got into an argument. My friend starting hating his guts too and for always forcing her to do things she decided to get revenge. For that to work we had to get into a fake argument so he would think we hate each other. We didn t mean anything and everything is okay between us, but now she s saying that her gut is telling her to trust him more (which was a problem) and that she should stay with him because change is coming. And I know this is going to mess up our friendship but her guts are literally never wrong. I need to support her but this is hard to support. Help? |

Because of it im social awkward and when i try to carry a conversation with a stranger i stutter or stare at them for too long my voice cracks or starts to go soft and they cant hear me. Once i got so nervous i starting talking in this weird country accent and another time like i was drunk. Rarely ill get so nervous i cant even open my mouth. I also will say something and it feels awkward its like i emit off a awkward aurora and make the whole enviornment uncomfortable. Anyways i want to get over my fear but idk how. The most akward encounter i had was someone said bye to another person and i said "hi" they just looked at me strange and walked away. HELP! How can i stop being so awkward? |

I live by myself in a two bedroom house that took me forever to afford, all on my own. I don't really depend on people anymore, and my family wonders why I stay in my house all day. Now her life does suck but its not terrible, she's lost her mom and her dads in jail and I feel like she has depression. She also always threatens suicide. I always tell her its not that bad because she isn't starving and she always says well actually and then i have to tell her that if she was starving she shouldn't have a phone because shed be smart enough to give it up for food. Im always telling her the quote Jeremiah 29:11 to get her to stop thinking she should give up now because she thinks the future will be terrible as well but she won't listen and just goes on about how its so bad. One of my friends and i have sat her down and told her that if she doesn't think god will help that she should get counseling but she refuse. I don't know what to say to her anymore. He knows me more than my own brother. A month ago I tried to get him to be friends again with my friend (we'll say friend B). Both of them used to be friends but had a fallout which friend B wanted to restore but friend A didn't. I side with friend B on this one because friend A is being childish over something from 2 years ago that he claimed he forgot what caused it. Friend A was mad at me for trying to get them to be friends again. When he told me I never mentioned friend B's name again. I did tell him I respect his decision and I did apologize When friend B reached out to friend A while I was at school not having to do with any of this, friend A started blaming me. I told him I swear to God and on my mama' life it wasn't me because I hadn't talked to friend B about it since friend A told be he didn't want to talk about it. I tried to contact him because he thinks I'm lying after I swore to God and on my mama's life. The most important woman in a man's life is his mother. Why would I put my mama's life on the line for a lie? Friend A is being immature of this. I know everyone in your life isn't suppose to be in it forever. I believe everything happens for a reason. Granted, I was a little rude about it, and said "what the hell is a ragamuffin gunner," to which he replied "Gunner is the character, and ragamuffin is the nickname, you monkey." I asked "what does that mean monkey?" He said "It means you're a monkey." As an African American, I felt deeply offended. I told him that calling someone a monkey is racist and asked him why he had called me that. He said "You are overacting. Monkey is in no way a racial slur, and it was not meant to be racist in any way." I felt that this was wrong, and I showed him pictures of stuff on the internet proving that monkey is a racial slur. He then responded, "Ya know what, I'm just gonna tell you straight since I'm not in a good mood right now, shut the **** up and stop talking to me please. Don't take it the wrong way or anything but please, I don't want to talk right now." I was deeply hurt and offended. I blocked him on all social media websites out of anger and frustration. The next day, a mutual friend of ours got us to talk after school on the train. However, this led to a heated conversation where we decided not to be friends anymore. What do I do? How do I stop thinking about it? It only happened yesterday, yet I am extremely sad over it. How do I forget? It's just bs high school drama to be honest. In 7th grade another girl moved into the school and she went my the same name. She is part of the popular group so everyone knows her better than they know me. We never really had classes together so we left each other alone. This year we have most of our classes with each other and she has started to hate me. I can t remember ever doing something to her that would make her mad. She started picking on me and telling me I don t have a right to me name. When substitute teachers come she refuses to let them call me by my nickname and forces me to go by my given name. I stopped going my that name because people were bullying me because of the way it was spelled and it is a very popular name. I know it is a stupid thing to be upset about but her friends have started agreeing with her. It has gotten to the point where I am being harassed because of it. I can t report her as a bully because the way she is doing it makes it look like I m a baby for being upset but I m tired of being bullied for my name. What do I do? |

There's always a lot of what if ideas hitting my mind. I'm just curious what you all think. When she came over, she didn't seem sad, we just watched movies and youtube videos and laughed. Then later we went on a drive and we were listening to sad music and she got sad. When we got back to my house, she was still sad and said she didn't feel like pretending to be happy. I told her she didn't have to and I just sat next to her and I didn't really know what to say. Then I got up and turned on some happy music and started dancing and then she started dancing too. I thought I had helped her feel better a little bit but the next day when I dropped her off at home she looked sad and annoyed still. She seemed so disappointed because she came to me for comfort and I blew it. I feel like I should have said more or just sat next to her and held her hand but I didn't and I feel like such a bad friend. I care about her so much.Now somebody else is going to make her happy. |

We were at a party yesterday and he was the first person to wave and say hi to me aside from the hostess who opened the door. I saw him looking over at me a couple times and he also started walking over to where I was standing a few times then changed his mind and walked back. He came and sat by me once and started talking to me and another time I made a small comment I thought he didn't hear but then he came over and started talking to me and explaining stuff and I was just like oh wait your actually talking to me? Anyway then later we talked a little while playing moose moose. He made a couple comments while playing games like "you got this" and stuff. When I left, He waved, smiled, and said, "Bye, Chelsea!" Typically we just talk maybe a couple of times at school for a minute or two. Also, as far as prom goes I heard he was kind of surprised I said yes and also he had a promposal planned out that didn't quite work because he couldn't get enough people to help him. Well idk if any of that means anything but he didn't specify friends when he asked me to prom and I was so caught off guard I didn't slide it into my answer. My school was full of fakes and negativity anyways i graduated high school and the so called friends i had dissappeared, its always me trying to make the effort and if i dont text them i wont hear from them. So im in college now and i dont live in residence (yes it saves money but if you want to make friends being a commuter sucks) so basically i made some friends in college but long story short since our schedules didnt match up meaning when i was in class they were free and vice versa they dropped me, i always tried to message them but they come up with excuses so i stopped. So now i just feel lonely my phone is always collecting dust, on weekends i have no where to go and i feel like if i just dissappeared no one would care... Any tips? |

They weren't doing it to be jerks, they later told me they were just joking but I still think that's inappropriate even to joke about. |

My brother and I were best friends when we were kids but as we got older he grew agressive towards me and started to oppose me in any way he could. For instance, If I was doing anything as simple as eating food that he wanted to save for himself he would not say a word and take it out of my hands and run off. Or he would steal a basketball from me and when I tried to get it back he started hitting me. Then he just completely stopped talking to me, and its been years since he has replied to me. I dont know what I did we were best friends and he just started acting out of hatred. My mom says its because he is jealous of me being so close in age to him but that makes no sense in my eyes. Its just awful I will be walking in the school hallway with my friend and he will come out of his classroom and my friend will say "hey thats your brother!" and Im too embarrassed to tell anyone but my closest friend, my cousin, about how he doesnt embrace me in any way. So I pretend things are good and say oh Hi to him but he doesn't look at me he just walks by. My friend said after," That was so weird. Yall didnt even talk or anything" and I just made up an excuse. Sometimes at home its just so painfully quiet when we are in the same room together. He pretends I don't exist. But I have several other siblings and he gets along alright with them. Its only me. Posted: 18 Mar 2017 09:21 AM PDT I had a very bad high school experience, there were a few girls that bullied and mistreated me and got me into so much trouble in high school. All this gave me so much problems that I even had to get medication from psychiatrist and the stress I was under gave me other problems and also even though I was accepted to University, I couldn't study what I wanted to... I had to study something else, then only I would be accepted. In other words, it took a long time for me to get there. Now however, I'm studying what I wanted to and also majoring in another degree, also my mental state of mind is also fully cured and people say I'm getting prettier day by day. Those girls however, I hear from other friends that the one got AIDS, the other got teenage pregnancy already in her 1st year at university, another has become obese and another one is losing her eye sight and there's still some others that I don't yet know what happened to them. I feel bad for them even though they put me through a lot of trouble but what do you think is going on? |

But at the end of February we had an argument because she thought I lied to her when I didn't, I softly held her because she was leaving my home without letting me talk... she later told me she was abused in the past and she said I crossed the line when I touched her. I kept. Texting here trying to apologize but she blocked me from everything, Soo I sent her a heartfelt apology to her house with flowers. Later that week police came to my house that I need to just leave her alone because I could get in more trouble for harassment ... (She did not tell police I touched her) but I cant stop thinking about the situation, does she just need time to cool down??? Did she go to police due to moment of anger?? Any help |

I have lived most of my life alone without friends in school but we are good classmates and i like them all but not as friends.However, this school year there's a newcomer. I started to love him very much even we are completely different " some people say he's not a good boy" and he does so but a bit less than me. I always think about him hes stuck into my mind. Also i got jealous when he talks to others so whats really happening.
