My last semester for my AS is drawing near and I ve been applying and looking into Universities. Not only are stresses of finals, acceptance letters, scholarship applications, moving, and etc. are getting to me, but so is my relationship. I ve been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years. I love him dearly. He recently lost his job, the 2nd one in less than a year. And it worries me. Future wise. His iptions are limited for jobs because he had a GED and no license. I understand school isn t for everyone, but he has no motivation to pursue a career. He doesn t even want to learn how to drive! It just worries me that he knows I ll have a stable career in the next 2 years, with the ability to care for us both. He even says, no matter what I ll always make more than him, so why does it matter? It just bums me out that the person I love has no motivation. While I m here trying to make a better future for myself. I don t know what I should do.. I keep hoping things will get better for him and we ll be fine if we move in together, but I m worried. Help, please. |

Now we had one sexual encounter. And even after that we were on great terms. We even got an apartment together and have acquired so many things. But now I just can t be here sometimes and I know that she would not be able to afford any of these things without me around and I m having a hard time just breaking it off and going home. After being together for 6 months I broke it off with him mainly because he was abusing pain meds and I asked him numerous times to stop. He would take his coworker's pain meds, his dad's xanax etc..things that were not prescribed to him. In his early 20s he had also experimented with a lot of illicit drugs like coke, and even heroin. One time i even tried white with him because he kept telling me i need to experience it because it's amazing so i went with him and he got it from his friend's dealer. Anyway...i felt like things were getting out of hand so i left. I told my family and friends the reason why i left so if i ever felt the urge to go back to him they wouldn't let me. But now it's been 2 months since we have broken up and we still see each other once in a while. He wont stop texting and calling me and is doing everything in his power to get me back and I can't get myself to delete him because I am still crazy in love with him. I kinda regret telling ppl why i left him bc now i want to go back to him so bad...will this feeling ever pass? I told him it would probably be hard for me to just be friends but he fought for us to continue to have some sort of relationship because he "could see things long term with me" As I expected the past few weeks have been difficult for me because I still have feelings for him. We've gone from talking every day to nothing unless I reach out to him. When I do reach out he takes a really long time to respond but always does respond eventually and seems happy to see me. He has never said no or just not answered. I do know that he has been busy lately, but cant help but feel that if he cared about me even as just a friend he could make time to reach out. I'm still in school & have about a year and a half left to finish my degree in Computer Science. I've never actually had a girl as a friend in my life. This probably due to the fact that I was always told that I was weird and ugly in elementary. And I was always ignored in middle school. So I guess I'm still affected by I guess. I don't know. Anyways, right now, my younger sister has her varsity team over at our house. Now, these girls a VERY beautiful. Very attractive. My parents ordered pizza for her and her team and a bit for me. When the pizza got here, they were all eating in the kitchen. And obviously had to go downstairs and get my food, but I couldn't bring myself to do so. There's like 10 girls here and I was just to nervous to pass by them and get my food. I didn't get it till they left. I was about to get my food, and I soon I enter the kitchen they came back, and I quickly went to my parents room. Told my mom if she could get my food so I can eat it there. These girls probably thing I such a rude loser right now. Im always afraid to be around them when they come over. Im only there with him for about a month at a time. But lately we have been arguing like crazy and i realized how disrespectful he is to me. I know i shouldn t compare relationships cuz im not the the cutie lovey dovey type but i feel like I have sacraficed a lot for him and he has helped me a lot too with my job but he says he acts the way he does because of me and how i treat him. But his anger is so bad sometimes but he says i ruin his good days when i have no idea that he is having a good day. I just try to talk and he gets all loud and acts like his whole day is ruined and its the end of the world. I love him but i swear i have this gut feeling to end the relationship. But im all he has and my friends feel like im not being treated right. What should i do? |

I don t look directly at him but i see him in the corner of my eye. Also, he takes my phone sometimes and today I had slime (don t ask why lol) and he took it and he was like "oh yeah im keepin this" and he actually kept it, also one time I was talking to me friend loudly (so we could get our crush s attention) and he was like be quiet to me and i was sad/mad he said that to me cause it hurt my feelings and my friend said he smiled to me after he said that to me and i put my head down. I block multiple of his accounts but he just makes new ones. Every day he sends me messages and I never ever reply ( maybe, just maybe thinking he would take a hint like any other normal person to leave me the hell alone!) but no he sends me paragraphs cussing me out for not replying to his messages. He calls me all sorts of names for not saying yes to go on a date with him. He found out where I go to school, where I work and etc. I have told him numerous times to leave me alone and that I'm not interested in him. He just replies back aggressively, degrading, and intensely questions me like why I don't like him... it's getting To the point of flat out annoying after a year. Help |

Let me give you an example when I was in tenth grade this girl laid down on my desk and started talking to me until class began. The whole time I was thinking I know you like me I mean it's obvious by your actions and you are telling me that you can't just come out and tell me that you like me instead of putting so much effort into showing me hoping that will be enough for me to make the make the first move. Needless to say I never made the first move on her because i thought it was so stupid that she would do anything to not make the first move. I used to think it was because of my shy personality growing up. However, now that I'm in college I'm not "that" shy anymore. I know a lot of girls that are shy and still manage to find someone special. Even though I barely have any friends, I tend to get a long very well with my male classmates, so I don't think I'm very shy anymore. I consider myself a nice girl. We get along great, we work well together, we generally like the same things, and we just have a pretty good relationship. However, he is a big gamer. I love gaming, but I like to go out and do other things as well. But with him, it is starting to get in the way. He will cancel plans we have completely last minute and say he has to help his friend catch up on LoL and I often find myself fighting for time with him. He does work part-time, but when he isn't working, he is gaming. So when I say "Hey, can we hangout this night?" he says "I am gonna be really gaming that night" even though that will be his third day off in a row, meaning his third day doing nothing but gaming. Then I get upset and try to explain it to him, he tells me I "knew what I was getting into when we started dating," but we went out a hell of a lot more at the beginning of our relationship. i actually have to push him to truly spend time with me now because 90 percent of the time that I am there, I sit next to him while he games and then we go to bed, he sleeps in late, and then he games again. Its crazy because in every other aspect, our relationship is perfect. It is just this one thing and it is honestly getting to me. I already suffer from anxiety, which is in no way his fault or burden, but this makes it so much harder to deal on a daily basis. |

He's amazing and treats me like an absolute queen, were attracted to each other, and I truly feel lucky to even know him. BUT something in me just doesn't feel the spark. He's my first real serious relationship so I don't know if a spark even exists, and I'm worried I'm missing out on other relationships since I'm younger and haven't experienced many relationships like he has. At the same time I'm very introverted and it's hard for me to even make friends, much less boyfriends lol. How do I know if I'm settling, or why can't I shake this feeling of being unsure? |
