I have a friend who is 5'10 and two others that are below 5'6. I walk with them alot from skl and today when I was walking with the tallest one, my bestfriend. we went to the bathroom and a few short girls came in and began exaggerating about our height and had us on snapchat. when i was washing my hands. they told my friend that 'for a tall girl she is really pretty' i silently washed my hands and stormed out but i didn't think she noticed my anger, I am always the se;f concious one, worrying about how I look while my bff is one that constantly fixes her hair and stuff.....she always gets the guys and stuff in person. everyone we meets is attracted to her. she is of a lighter complexion of me. sometimes she says she's ugly and she's not. why is she trying to my place as ugly. help |

I've seen online forums and parents talking about it. They seem to act like they know everything and they think they're completely grown ups. Yet they still act like little 5 year olds. I'm 14 and I hope I don't use the sentence, "Mom I'm 18 I can do whatever I want!" four years later. I don't care if I'm ageist. They're so annoying! I have friends who have siblings at that age and they don't like them either because they act like they're so cool now that they have freedom. I stopped being friends with an ex friend who is now almost 20 now because she's become like that too. Not a know it all, but she sometimes tells her parents that she's an adult now and can do what she wants. I just dislike all newly turned adults. They're horrible little bastards and immatu little pricks. They treat me like I'm 7 when they act like little children. |

And I'm currently trying to deepen my faith and I'm trying to minimize gossip as much as possible. My friend is super sensitive and will probably only talk about me behind my back if I just ask her in person so I'm really unsure of how to handle this situation. She also tells me she's suicidal but she's also told me she tells people that just to get attention. But I don't want to do something and her do something to hurt herself. We have been best friends since elementary school and had plans to go to college together and travel everywhere and then she got pregnant our first semester of college dropped out and is living with her mom who I now live with. Her daughter is 4 months old and is adorable. But I get so annoyed with my friend kissing all over her and laying with her and I have no idea why. It s not jealousy, I know that feeling. She was like okay, and then I said "so do you wanna bring the microwave" (which is typically cheaper than a fridge so I figured she'd appreciate that) but she was like "I don't want one." So I brought both since I wanted a microwave and I had already agreed to bring the fridge (which I wish I hadn't)... But she uses the microwave all the time, even though she said she didn't want one. All of the students HATED her and didn't mind letting me know it. I lost all of my friends over this. My friends turned on me to side with my bullies to show hatred towards me and my aunt. Everything that my aunt did was my fault. It was very horrible. My classmates actually wanted to fight me over their hatred towards my aunt. It was a very weird experience now that i look back on it. I have searched for someone on the internet for months who has shared my experience, but everyone has only had great experiences with their relative being their teacher. Please help. Has anyone else experienced this type thing or no of anyone else who has experienced the same thing? |

Posted: 07 Nov 2016 11:34 AM PST So I was BEST FRIENDS with this girl (kennedy) for a while and we told each other everything, then she starts doing mean things tinned a lot to the point where I lost all trust what so ever to her. Then I found a new friend group, that is now hanging out with Kennedy who admitted a few days ago during drama when I found out that my new friend group and kennedy all hung out without me and lied to me, that kennedy had said that she "freaking hates me"(she was the one who planned the hang out and told everyone to lie) I know that people say this a lot in drama, but I'm serious when I say it... I literally did NOTHING to anyone except for kennedy. I just stuck up for myself because I felt that she was attacking me. Then I decided I would just forgive everyone because I didn't want drama. No one responded to my snapchats. Then I found out that one of the girls I forgave was with kennedy at the time. I of course got no response to her so I then snap chatted her again saying "ok, I'll take that as a no then:((" Didn't get a response to that too. I'm now afraid kennedy told my new friends very personal things, like that I was questioning my sexuality, and that I masturbated from time to time (which she did to) and that's why there apparently mad at me and not responded to me. I'm only 12 years old (but mature for my age) so I don't know if these things are really considered normal to my other friends. Should I be worried that kennedy told my friends and they won't like me anymore?? |

I've known my friend for more than 10 years.However I need some opinion on some things that make me wonder if she only cares about her self. My friend is a flight attendant and she also does early morning shifts and goes to bed at 8 or 9 pm. So she tells me to not make loud noises such as taking a shower (makes loud noise), no laughing too loud.I finish work at 6 pm and I do have time to take a shower before that. But what if I went to gym and came home at 9pm and wanted to take a shower at home but I wouldnt be able to because I would wake her up. Also, if her boyfriend comes around she sometimes stays up untill 9.30 or 10 pm and she sometimes cooks at the same time as I get home from work especially when her boyfriend comes over and cooks for him. And I cant cook because she is using the kitchen means I have to wait till shes done even though she finishes work around 3 or 4 pm. She also uses my frying pan and we only have one and sometimes doesnt wash it and leaves it in the sink and then she goes on about how we all share. I also gave her lifts to work and brought her loads of times. I woke up at 4 or 5 in the morning for her on weekends and picked her up at 11 or 12 pm. I also brought her to the hospital when she was sick and waited for her in the hospital and all these times she never offered to pay for petrol or insist in taking me out for dinner or just show appreciation. Am I over reacting? |

At my pool, I met this 11th grade lifeguard who goes to my school and I always liked talking to him and i found his twitter and i spammed it for troll reasons and then appologized and then i asked for his phone number which i got through begging xD. She was cyber-schooled before. I somehow became friends with her, and she is really cool. Smart and talented, but very shy. Last Saturday, she told me she wanted to introduce me to a friend of hers, so we went out to eat together. It was nice, we sat outside, plus the weather and food were both great. The friend she wanted to introduce me to was a 20 year old man! She seemed very close to him, and it worried me. She is only 16. After that we walked around town and went into a few stores to look around. I was very surprised by how close they were, it had me wondering if they are really just friends. I don't think it is safe for her to be friends with him. Her house is near mine, so when it was time for us to part ways we did it at her house. When I was leaving, I saw the 20 year old go inside with her! I called her to talk about it on Sunday. She said they are each others closest friends. She also said they are not more than friends, but I don't know if I should believe her. She said they met on an online game when she was 9 and he was 13, and she said she was older until she was 12 and he was 16, when she felt guilty and told him the truth. She said it was a bit hard at first, but soon it was all back to normal. When she was 14, she moved and was only an hour away from him. Since then, they have spent most of their time together. Her parents are okay with this too! What do you think? Is this okay?? |

Posted: 07 Nov 2016 08:35 AM PST I go to a medium sized secondary school in Ireland, and I am currently in Junior Cert year (freshman year/year10) and I am 15 years old. I have been in the same class since 1st year, age 13, and have made many friends and fallen out with friends, also. Presently, everyday for lunch I sit with a group of 5 other girls, whom I consider to be my friends. However, since about April 2015 I have been feeling very unhappy within this group, only meeting up with them a handful of times over Summer and instead spending my time with other friends. I know this sounds as if there is only one way for me to proceed in this situation; just sit with other friends. The situation isn't as straight forward as it seems, as I like all my friends as individuals but we don't bond cohesively as a group. I also suffer from anxiety and depression, so there is also a chance that it is not my friends that I have a problem with, but that I have just projected inner feelings of discontent onto them. So here I pose my question; what should I do? Do I introduce new friends into the group, leave the group entirely or just work on building stronger relationships within the group? Please help! |

We get along really well but she's also a liar. She's 18 and is always partying a hoeing around and then she complains when life gets hard (college) and really doesn't have it together at all. My sister decided to make up lies about her life to the kids at her middle school (it's right next door to my high school) saying we're rich, used to live in a mansion, blah blah all this bs. When someone confronted me about it asking if I was rich, I was so confused and said no because I had no idea what was going on. They then called my sister a liar and my sister replied "No, (my name) is a liar. She's disgusting. She's a whore. She's slept with 10 guys in the last week" I've never even had sex... I confronted my sister and said why would you say this? What's wrong with you? Now people at school I literally DO NOT KNOW AT ALL are calling me a whore and gross. I feel defeated. I explained that to him a while back and he understood at the time but I think after a while he decided he didn t want to be friends anymore because we weren t talking at all. Completely understandable. I tried to message him a couple weeks ago to apologize for the prolonged silence and he didn t answer, but yesterday his mother passed away. I thought I might be doing him more harm than help by messaging him now but I did it anyway, I didn t want him to think I didn t care. He responded with a courtesy "thanks". I can t decide if he did that just because he didn t want to deal with me right now or if he is really thankful I said something or if he expected more from me, like a call, which is what I would ve done if we hadn t been in this weird fight. If you were in his shoes, what do you think you d want or need from me? A message? A call? To be left alone? (I live in another state now, otherwise a visit would be on that list) |
