So, I have a friend who claims all these weird crazy things. She says she knows famous people, and hangs out with them. Mind you we live in Ohio, and they supposedly live in Georgia. She "flies down" once a month to see them. The reason I believe she's lying is because when I ask her to get pictures, she says she forgets. I'm never allowed to meet them, because they don't trust people they don't know. I don't know, it's a lot of BS! How should I confront her?

There's a guy in my class, and whenever he saw me he keep saying, "hi bestfriend!" Then I tell him "I'm not your best friend". But that wouldn't stop him from saying it. Anything casual I could say so he could zipped his mouth. Okay so in seventh grade I got bullied by a group of guys. They would call me hecka ugly and say that I look like a Grandma. They would also throw spitballs at me and one of them tried to get his other friends to bully me as well. In seventh grade, I was a complete mess. I was chunky, had bad acne, was very unhealthy, had barely any friends because I was annoying. After seventh grade, I never ever saw them again. And throughtout the years, I got better. I lost weight and did exercises that helped tone my body and make it look fit, my acne scars and acne are completely healed and gone and I rarely have acne these days, I became very healthy, and I have a normal amount of friends. I realize that I am behind in several aspects compared to the average twentysomething year old. I am behind in finances, living situation, and dating. My job doesn't really pay me that much. My friend and I have been friends for almost 5 years. It seems like she hasn't always been there for me and sometimes she makes really rude comments to me. Now because I don't pay her any mind she is trying to compete with me (i do photography) so does she but whenever she sees me on my accounts or in person she puts it out there about how better her photographs and she pop up at the same places and take the exact same pictures that I have but tell people that i'm copying her. I'm two years older than her and I don't make my life revolve around other people. What should i do when someone tries to compete with me. I usually just try to ignore that person.

My best friend and I haven't had any classes together this year. It sucks but whatever. Since then I feel like our relationship has been strained since and they haven't even noticed. I would invite them to hang out and they would either leave early for their other friend or ask to invite this other friend with us. Then they only talk to me about two things, being stressed and cosplay. The cosplay I don't mind, it's fun! But they won't stop talking about how stressed they are and come up with the worst problems ever and will tell me immediately if one comes up. Me and a buddy started a tech business 50-50. I did the work, he payed the bills. I has taken nearly 3 years of development and we have both sacrificed a lot to get here. The last year, he started investing in other ventures, companies and buying houses. He is not short of money. He's always been excited and helpful. But oddly, now that we are ready to sell, he's grown very distant and not returning my calls. And sounds pissed or annoyed when I do catch him in. What do you think could be the reason? Well my friend and I were screwing around in a classroom after school got out and my friend went behind the teacher's desk and started mocking the teacher who teaches this class. She took a step backwards and her flip flop and her foot got caught in between one of the wheeled chair's legs. This caused her to fall backwards, her butt landed right in the trash can behind her. Hi I'm 18 years old and I have always been known as the quiet girl and an introvert. My friend had a volleyball practice today after school, day before the last day and I was in a classroom waiting for her to show up because we had a project we needed to finish. She got to the classroom and we started working. My desk is right next to the door and my friend just a few steps backwards from my desk and she tripped over the recycling bin and her butt landed right in the trash can behind it, she sunk all they way to bottom, she says her butt is touching the bottom. We got a good laugh out of that. Then my friend stood up and it came with her and then she tried to push the trash can off but it wouldn t budge. She asked me for help and tried pulling it off while she was pushing, but this trash can would not move at all. She is still wearing her spandex shorts and her shirt got rolled up as she fell into it, exposing her bare skin and it s all sticky from her practice. Everytime we try, we can t seem to budge the trash can at all, she s been stuck for a good 20 minutes now. How can we get her out?

About 2 days ago I sent out 2 friend requests on Facebook to two girls. One of them I used to go to youth group with a few years ago and the other one I don't know personally but we went to high school together. The thing is I simply sent a friend request because they were in the "people you may know" section of my timeline so I said why not. And for each of them we have about 10+ mutual friends so it's not like I'm completely coming out of the blue here. so why might they not accept/ignore my request?

I'm in middle school and have a group of friends right near the center of our school's social circle. When the school year started, this new kid decided to befriend me. He seemed okay for the first five minutes, but then he got really annoying way too fast. The first thing he managed to do was, as the bell rang for lunch, shove everyone aside and run to lunch. He knocked this girl onto the floor and just yelled, "watch it!", while laughing and running to lunch. At lunch, he just butted into my lunch table claiming I was his "best friend forever" (so gay). He talked over everyone at lunch all while slurping and smacking his lips (disgusting) and yelling about how awesome the Golden State Warriors and the Carolina Panthers were (bandwagon). Then, near the end of lunch, he started to throw food at other tables and got our entire table detention. By the end of the day, everyone who knew him hated him, even the teachers. He constantly interrupted class, and he was dumb as a brick and complained to everyone near him when he was put into the lowest level math and science classes. Every day now, he comes up to me and goes "What's up duuude?" while laughing and saying I'm his friend. I've tried to be the nice guy and avoid him, and when that didn't work I left him almost in tears after humiliating him in a recent social studies debate. I've tried calling him every offensive name in the English language and he just keeps saying he's my "best bud". How do I shake this guy!!!???

Society classifies and groups socially awkward people or introverts into a group of people with disorders or disabilities. For example autism is considered a mental health disorder which is basically saying that there is something wrong with them. I don't agree with the whole thing of you have to be outgoing or extraverted in order to fit societal norms. In my opinion autism and aspergers isn't real, its just made and is judgement made by society because people don't like to socialize. In my experience with people, all people are is drama and conflicts. In high school, people always judge me and bring me down and now I have to defend myself and go back and forth. It's just less drama to br socially isolated. What is your stance on this topic?

My friends aren't responding to my texts. In a group chat with 2 other people, I asked if they wanted to meet up for ice cream and no one answered. I know they have been on their phone because they opened (and didn't respond to) my snapchat. I thought we were close friends but now im not so sure if they cant even bother to respond.

I'm an exchange student and this week I was at a seminar, and one of my best exchange student friends was there. We weren't supposed to have alcohol but some people brought some anyway, and my friend drank and started taking selfies with a bunch of people on someone else's phone. We made a whatsapp group after the seminar and the guy ended up sending all the pictures she took and people started laughing. It was honestly funny when she was taking the pictures so I laughed too. But now my friend is really hurt that I added to the joke, and I think she might hate me now. I didn't mean to hurt her and I've texted her saying how sorry I am and how I feel horrible, but I don't think she can forgive me, and now she won't text me back. We're good friends, and I only like him as a friend. there's this astronomy event going on, and we both like astronomy, so I asked if him and his brother would like to go with me. I didn't think too much into this. Then today, I was in rocket club with Eric, and one of the girls said that her friend said that she shipped me and Eric (again, we are only friends). I knew this girl my whole life, but we didnt talk until a couple years ago. I eventually grew a crush, and made things pretty awkward for us. She told me she wasn't interested, and I was okay with that. I knew chasing one girl was a waste of time. i was okay with us being friends. But even a year later she kept giving me the cold shoulder. I'm finishing high school, I can't wait for college so I can make new friends. When I started high school, I was friends with 8 girls, we did everything together. Then, I broke up with my first boyfriend, I was miserable and I'll admit I was a pain in the a**. 4 of those 8 "friends" got annoyed with me, told me I was annoying over Facebook in a really mean way and told me to just leave them alone because they don't want anything to do with me anymore. She resents the other girls, I have forgiven them, I don't hang out with them or care about them. But I hang out with this girl, and I just think she's so fake, I don't like her. I'm not as close to my "real friend" and I just can't wait to make new friends.

Hey, so I'm a 14 year old guy and I'm a figure skater. I've been figure skating since 10 years old. When I started middle school, I told everybody who knew to not tell anybody and I didn't tell anybody I did it myself. But now ( 9th grade), only a few people found out and this one kid was bugging me about it but he stopped. I worry everyday to go to school because I think I will get bullied. It's been like this since 7th grade. My friends have talents like computer programming, singing and acting but I have to keep my real talent in and say that the only sport I do i swimming when I also skate. Also, I have a really uncommon last name and if you type my name into Google images, I'm the only person named that and you can see a picture of me figure skating. Anybody can type it and my secret is revealed. If my friend finds out, he will laugh for sure. He is really blunt and doesn't care about your feelings. We had to write facts about ourself in class and I wrote that I took skating lessons when I was 7 ( I actually did but it was to learn how to skate and not just figure skating, some hockey players did it ) and when he saw he was like. "What? You do that. You don't look like you do with your beard and all" (I have a lot of facial hair). Then I was like "It was just to learn how to skate" and he was like "I hope you were aiming on hockey" and I just said "It was just to learn to skate". This is true though, I didn't plan on being a figure skater. I just took lessons to learn how to skate when I was 7 and then they taught me a few figure skating things and I really liked it and started figure skating from there. I'm not those "feminine" figure skaters. I skate to 300 Violin Orchestra and just wear a black shirt. I don't do those weird moves etc... My friend also looks like a weeaboo and looks like he's 10 so I don't know why he does this to me. So if you were to find out my secret, would you bully me ? These kids bug me already without knowing my secret and if they did, omg... Last year these other bullies found out and called me a fag and stopped this year. Which is nice. I didn't get bullied this year because of it really. Do people get more mature each year? I'm not a cool kid and not popular and I get stereotyped for being a nerd because of my weeaboo friend. Should I just leave him? He is mean to me and bullies me. Thanks?...

ok, so i asked my friend 3 weeks ago if he wanted to go out with me to party on the weekend. he said he was busy. next week. so next week rolls around. he texts me on saturday and asks what im doing. im tell him then we agree to meet up in the city at 9pm. so.. he calls me at 8:30 and says he can`t make it. he admits it`s a petty reason but he forgot to wash his clothes and his floor had washing day that day. and he really needs to get his clothes washed (his apartment complex share washer and dryer) then he said exactly that, he promises that we will do something next weekend, which was last weekend... i agree. well, he fails me again. and i have been pissed. last friday was the last time we had contact. we texted. but i never heard a peep from him. he never asked to hang on. and he PROMISED that we would hang out that weekend. but i never get a text from him asking or telling me we will hang out that weekend. so, i haven`t heard from him since last friday afternoon. he never asked or brough up about us hanging out on the weekend. we don`t hang out on the weekend, AGAIN.. what should i do about this guy? i`m really pissed and i thought we were buddies.

I'm a guy who has very few friends and gets stressed all the time.

so I'm soon to be a sophomore in highschool. Freshman year was horrible. Everyone had great relationships and I had no one. I felt so alone. A lot of people hated me cause I would talk mess about people just to seem cool like the other girls (that's not my personality at all and I regret it) and then the rest of the people just thought I was an annoying freak. I'm 15 years old and Ive always been goofy but I just don't know when to stop. people say I act like I'm 8. I'm going to a new highschool in September and I don't want to be labeled as the "annoying weirdo" anymore. I'm socially awkward & that's part of the reason why I act goofy cause I'm just like "they will probably think I'm boring so I'll just be goofy and make them laugh" and that never ends well cause the people just lose respect for me. sophomore year I want to be outgoing & congenial. how can I do that ?

It's been happening ever since preeschool. My hobbies are: Gaming, watching anime, mopeds, colleting blades, archery and unicycling. I don't see any of these as weird or bad hobbies, I just like to do them, As for my dressing style I suaully wear a collar and don't use the sleeves on my jackets or hoodies. I spend most of my time in school just chilling and not really doing anything and on my freetime away from my classmates Are any of these reasons for me to get picked on every day? And why wont the teachers ever do anything? I have told them every time, and they just say "just ignore them, they will run out of steam" And whenever I start picking on a bully and he goes and tells the teacher I'm immediately a bad person? Why is this happening and what should I do?

Marian literally hates my philosophy of life. She says veganism is bad for you and say that I will go to hell for not being as devoted to god as her. She is also sometimes unintentionally rude and a tad racist (she says i have small eyes, no eyebrows, short eyelashes, and fat). However, it's not obvious and I love her so I rarely point it out. Cher is usually nice and everyone likes her. Cher has many friends so she sometimes chooses her other friends over me (she leaves me to join her other friends but expects me to always talk and wait for her) She is also religious like Marian but for some reason she still eats pork (because her pastor says its ok). However, when Cher makes rude comments occasionally, she gets away with it because of her reputation of being nice. Once me and Cher kept a secret from Marian (that had nothing to do with her) and when Marian questioned us. We decided to just avoid it by saying that we couldn't trust her from our past experience of sharing secrets with her. Then marian got mad at me (treated me terribly for the rest of the day) while she didn't bat a eye about Cher. Cher also told me to apologize to Marian which I didn't cause I didn't feel like I did wrong. Samantha is...ok. But she is usually on her phone and when she does speak, she is on Cher's side. I am a person who loves debating. Usually about controversial topics that me and my best friends have opposing opinions on. They say I am serious, sensitive, or self righteous.
