While working on these projects we see and email each other. But, between projects we don't. It could be a couple to several days between projects. While we are working on these projects if I have to email her in the morning I always start my email with good morning. After being on vacation, my first day back she sent me an email about another project that started with good morning, hope you had a good vacation. I saw her later that day and she asked me where I went. She has never asked me anything like that before. A couple weeks ago she sent me an email early on a Monday and my response started with good morning, how was your weekend? In these instances she's never responded with good morning or my weekend was....... I have been trying to have more conversations with her. My intentions to do this is not to get her phone number. She might be waiting for me to ask her for her number. I don't know if she likes me or not, it's hard to tell. I also don't know if she has a boyfriend it's just to have more conversation. Is there anything wrong with trying to have more conversation with her during or between projects even though I am not looking for a phone number? |

This I think is a normal part of having, you take on each other's mannerisms, and I get that. But she will take a funny story I told her when we are alone and then tell it when we are with others, and if I react to anything my friends took her side. And to be honest I don't have that much self esteem to begin with and I have a fear of being replaced. This is really **** if feel like people don't believe me about her and I'm scared to talk to anyone because I know it's kind of a petty issue. But if you guys know anything that has helped you I would really appreciate it. |

The female teacher miss Dunn is a horrible person! She's not pretty either & Just not nice at all & the male instructor Sam is a lovely man. We were on the way home in the van when miss Dunn said to Sam "There's two photos of me on this trip & I never want to see them again they're really bad photos". Sam said nothing! But me and my friend Cathy were sitting behind them so we heard what miss Dunn said! My friend Cathy is a good looking girl & she hates miss Dunn. Cathy said loudly "I look great in all them" in a cheeky but funny way and also quite loudly after miss Dunn moaned about the photos lol! We were apart of a bigger group of friends. We got in a fight last year and she left my friend group. She left because she said we were going down the wrong path in life. We were 15 at the time and we were becoming close with this one group of boys. I ended up dating one of them and am still dating him. But anyway, she said we were too young to date. Which I don't agree with because it is my life. Anyway, we just let her leave because she had always had a problem with us and none of us knew why. But lately I've been hearing that she is telling the whole school that "everyone hates us." I don't understand why she'd say that besides the fact that she used to be friends with us and left us? But we sit next to each other in math class and we get along pretty well. We are definitely not as close as we used to be but we are friendly. But why would she say that? I don't believe we are the most hated group of friends at all. We all do our own thing and don't cause trouble. I don't think people pay that much attention to us to hate us... but maybe they do? I honestly just think she wants to spread rumors to get more people to hate us, which is just stupid. I think I should confront her in math class but how? |

Which he said ill bring it fri.I bet he knew he was short $2.00. I said fine and plus it was too late anyway. Its been a week and he still hasn't mentioned it and its only $2.00 so its not a big deal but no more favors for me.,but I check my bank statement today zand I see another Uber charge on there for 10.00. Unfortunately there was a big blow out... some of us expressed that we didn't like how certain members of the group were acting. I was the only one who spoke out and didn't throw anyone under the bus who agreed with me, and I was the sacrificial lamb. I felt betrayed and yeah I no longer speak to any of them. My crying days are over, but although it has been a few months... I am still coping with having no friends. I have became a hermit, and just now spend more time with my family, especially my sister. I do miss the old days though. Anyone else that has been in my situation? Any motivation or advice? @the question, I assume you are being sarcastic. I do not believe I am a victim though. I feel like I am the victor because I got out of a group that wasn't a fit for me as much as I thought it was. I don't blame anyone for my departure. It's unfortunate how it ended, but I am just struggling with picking up the pieces and moving on. |

And those few I do know I always see having fun with their other friends on snap chat or facebook... I realize that I'm actually really freaking lonely and I rarely get to hang out with people. Granted, I'm not really a super outgoing person and I'm really socially awkward, but nobody wants to hang out at the mall or the park anymore. And when they do, it's without me, and then they advertise their whole life and how they're having so much fun. It's depressing... I was always be there when she needed me and vice versa. We also socialize with other group of people (different group but we're still close). However at grade 11 she went away due to undisclosed reason (which I knew). I dont message her everyday but I still keep contacting her. We talked about crazy stuff from personal things to casual and funny stories. I just wanted to help her. Could you give an advice and is it weird for me to be bestfriend with her? On a birthday party her so called "bestfriend" (let's say her name is Lulu) caught me texting with Zulu. She was so annoying that she asked me about Zulu and needed me to answer it in a very precise detail (about her dissappearance). See the thing is that Zulu never trusted sulu because she was such a blabber mouth and none of her so called friend liked her. If you seen one of us the other would be right there as well. We went everywhere together from the beach 2 times to going out to eat randomly. We ve been inseparable until she became friends with this other girl I kinda got left behind but not really. The next year I became friends with this girl (let s call her Sami.) Sami and I were quite close but not near as close as Miranda and I. After a while Sami began to always be there. I didn t really think about it till it suddenly hit me in the head.. Miranda never really liked Sami but a couple months ago they started getting extremely close. But I was never left benhind, they would always include me. That didn t last very long. Now Sami is on the verge of taking my place. They re going everywhere together, I barley hear anything about what s happening in thier life, they never include me, nothing. The guy took enough interest to take my phone out of my hand, look at the picture, then as he handed it back to me looked me dead in the eyes and deadpan said "So cute" in a tone that didn't sound very sincere. He almost seemed sarcastic. Like he wanted to get a message across. Is that message: A) your boyfriend is ugly B) I'm a guy why would I say your boyfriend is attractive C) I'm mad at you for talking to me in a positive way about your boyfriend because I kinda like you D) other (please state) I'm not very good at reading social cues so please help lend insight. He is constantly punching me in the face, pushing me downstairs, he's even gone as far as grabbing my neck and ramming my head into walls. He also makes me feel like I have no value. He calls me ugly, stupid, worthless, whxre, cxnt,. He leaves bruises and marks but my parents don't seem to care. He has a metal part on his hat that he was whipping at my face earlier. It left lumps all over my face and gave me a black eye. I ran to my room and started crying., He heard me and came to my bed and slapped me across the face, telling me to grow up. I wish I had somebody to talk to. Nobody seems to think it's a big deal or really care. I've showed my friends my bruises before and asked who I should talk to. They told me nobody and that I was just over exaggerating everything. I can't talk to a counselor because I don't want the school to get involved. Am I just over exaggerating or am k being abused.:( |

Not real close, but would hangout once in a while as kids and we went to the same high school. Even since we were kids he has been very socially awkward and somewhat weird but a good kid (at least back then). In high school he would be bullied alot by other students so I tried to stick up for him the best that I could but couldn't defend him 24/7. Then around 2 years ago he started getting this fake overconfident / narcissistic, hypocritical attitude where nobody can stand being around him. At first it was just my other cousins that would complain when he was invited somewhere but I would still try to stick up for him and then it eventually got to the point where I can't even stand being around him. It's like he tries to portray an image of being the "ball buster"/ "brutally honest" kind of guy but can't take it back and gets real offended. This weekend I had a cookout at my new house and my aunt kept nagging me to invite him so I gave in and did. All he did was just piss everyone off. My co worker who was there is in the national guard and was deployed in Iraq during the Saddam stuff in the early 2000's. My cousin flat out told him "No offence but your in the national guard so you aren't a real veteran". My buddies wanted to freaking kill him and I kicked him out and my cousin was convinced he did nothing wrong and bragged about how he "speaks his mind". I even tried giving him a talk a while back and he acted like I was calling him tough and assertive. It's just weird because he will call people out on stuff that he has no business doing. My cousin still lives with his parent's, never attempted college or ever even had a job. He once said my father is a frat boy who never grew up for some reason because he has a good job and nice things that he earned by himself. My cousin just mooches off his parents all the time |

Posted: 08 Nov 2016 12:42 PM PST Last year, I transferred into my twin brother's high school and pretty instantly became very close friends with two other girls - Julie and Sandra - (who were already friends). At the end of last year, Julie and Sandra had a falling out. Over the summer, Julie decided that Sandra was a toxic person and ended their friendship by blocking her on all forms of social media with little explanation. Towards the beginning of school, Sandra told me that they were going to become friends again as soon as school restarted. Then, at the beginning of this year, Julie started avoiding Sandra. I'm still very close to Julie and she has told me that a large number of our friends really dislike Sandra as she is condescending towards them. At first, I didn't see what she was talking about but I've now realized that she's right. I've also realized that Sandra has started to insult and act rudely towards a lot of my friends. She's told them that they smell funny, that they aren't interesting, that nobody is interested in what they're saying, she interrupts them constantly, she acts like she is the only person who knows anything, she talks **** about everyone. I could go on. Today she was rude to my brother. She crossed the line and I know that I have to talk to her. What can I say that will tell her to stop being rude but that won't utterly destroy the friendship? I forgot to add this to the original question but Sandra has bipolar disorder (but is on meds) and has suffered from serious depression (several years ago). |

She would do 10am to 4pm and I would do her 4pm to 9pm Friday shift. Later on that night I along with my other co workers get a text saying that she was in a car accident and totalled her car!!! Like she now had the night of she said that she was going to drive to Anaheim and have lunch or dinner with her mom and sister she went home ate and changed but never made it she is physically ok on the most part just bruised and extremely shaken! She lost her beautiful car. I feel awful because if I had not asked her to switch shifts with me she would not have gotten in that accident. I don't know how to make it up to her or what to say we talked and she doesn't blame me but I feel so guilty. How can I make it right or make her feel a little better? |

To keep it short, I told my best friend yesterday that I wanna try out for the track team in April since I'm not athletic and wanna get into a sport. When I told her she just looked me up and down in disgust, laughed, and said "Yeah right". I shook it off in front of her but it's really bothering me. If she were to tell me today that she wants to become the next Beyonce or whatever, I wouldn't laugh at her, I'd say "go for it". How come my friends don''t support me? It's not just her, it's a lot of my other friends. I don't know if they're joking or not but it hurts and I don't find it funny. Like are these really even my friends? Posted: 08 Nov 2016 11:09 AM PST This morning I was eating breakfast before leaving for school, I decided to cut my apple in half, and I sliced my finger open with the knife. I yelled help to mom, she said what? I said I cut myself with a knife. So she came out of the shower all wet, wrapped in a towel. I was bleeding a lot so she helped me to put pressure on it. While she was doing that her towel fell off. She said never mind, help me get this to stop so she finished putting a dressing on my finger then picked the towel and went back to the bathroom. Should I feel guilty about what happened? She was trying to help me but I imagine it was embarrassing to her that she ended doing it naked. |

Medium length black hair, olive skin, long eyelashes, slim figure...wouldn't call myself ugly.. I hate saying this but I only have one friend in school and she's only in one of my class so basically you could call me a loner.. And I'm pretty quiet too so I guess I'm seen as "the quiet or shy girl" So there's this really annoying dude in three of my classes and in first period he used to sit in front of me and he's always asking to borrow a pencil and calls me a fuc^ing liar when I say I only have one...he always turns around and just looks at me.. I pretend i don't see him and just do my work. He looks like he's gonna say something but never does.. Now he sits behind me and he was like "your hair looks really nice like that" I pretend not to hear him but then he tapped my side so I turned around and he said "I think your hair looks really nice like that" I rolled my eyes and looked away cuz I assumed he's trying to annoy me since he never gives anyone compliments.. His friends who sit around me were like "really ____" "wow__" (as in they know he's trying to annoy me") and he's just like "what?her hair looks nice like that" And in an other period: I sit facing the wall and he's to my bottom left.. He shined a laser on the wall in front of me and I obviously knew it was him so I looked back at him and he quickly looked down and him and the girl next to him started laughing..I rolled my eyes and turned away |

However, recently a lot of the "groups" within my school have been getting larger, averaging 8 members compared to the mere 6 people in mine. I know that it's the quality of my friends that matters, not the quantity, but I can't help but to feel under pressure to have a larger group of friends simply becasue everyone else does. I also feel pressured to make friends with boys, as a lot of other people in my school are, despite the fact that I attend an all-girls Catholic school that doesn't allow us out of school at lunch. How can I overcome this pressure? |

At the beginning, because of my depression I didn't get along with nobody, and sometimes I fought with other students in my school. I've found some friends but they are older then me and we see each other very seldom. I need to mention that when I got to school, someone came up with rumors on me. It was really hard. My friend also has more friends in his class and everything is good. There's a group of people in the class my friend doesn't really get along with. By that I mean they often insult him, with or without meaning it. My friend takes it really hard (I don't blame him). The problem is that in situations like this I REALLY want to talk with him and cheer him up, but I literally can't say anything. I can't come up with the words that can cheer him. Recently, I have been going through a lot with grad school apps so I have been anxious and snappy. i feel bad b/c she makes the effort to come and visit me since she knows I am lonely without her at college. She keeps asking whats wrong and I tell her. I hate repeating myself. We message all the time, but the past day or so, it has been annoying me. How do I talk to her about this? He shaves in his room with an obnoxiously loud clipper , he constantly yells in a foreign language while gaming , he doesn't exactly have mannors and lastly a few weeks ago he let some random stranger in my space and over my desk without Letting me know at all , and he supposedly tried telling even when he told me his phone was shut down via a message . | Question: I think someone filmed me at school (?)? Posted: 08 Nov 2016 07:32 AM PST So, today was a pretty normal day. Earlier as I finally got out of elementary, I've been pretty happy with my new school, with few bad sides. About 7 people from my old class came to the same school, though none to my class. I went to a near store to buy some snacks and I came back to school a little late (i had lunch next). I was in a bit of a rush to go to the class so i just sat on the closest chair and started eating. Usually my friends have different schedules or the just don't wanna eat, so I usually sit alone in the cafeteria, though not all the time. Appearenty people think that i have no friends because of that, which is wrong. I'm getting off the topic. So, I saw a couple of my old friends in there but they werw hanging out with their other friends so i just ignored them. The cafeteria was pretty empty anyway. So my old classmate, which I'm not a friend of, walked out of there with his friend to sit on nearby benches, so there was a view to the cafeteria. He and his friend took a few silly pictures with his friend's phone, but then his friend bent down on his knees after he told him something, and faced the phone towards me. There was no one around me, except a teacher far behind me, so they must have filmed me. He held the phone there for about 10 seconds, or something that would make a good snapchat video. I noticed it and stared at the camera and my old classmate who occasionally looked at me too. They laughed after he took his phone. What should i do? |
