Question: How to politely tell someone you don't want to hang out? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:42 PM PDT There's this girl in my class that I recently discovered has a crush on me (I am a girl as well, and have a boyfriend at the moment) and she doesn't get the hint that I do not want to hang out. Now this isn't because of her sexual orientation, as I have many lgbt friends and family, but rather her attitude. She is incredibly snarky and rude, and she made a bunch of innapropriate sexual comments towards me. She is also very mean to my boyfriend and accuses me of using him for sex. She asks to hang out frequently, and each time I say no, I'm busy. I try to keep it as short and curt as possible but she doesn't get it at all. It's starting to get on my nerves and I don't know how to tell her politely I don't want to talk to her anymore. She doesn't have a single friend so I do not want to make her sad, but it is truly driving me insane at this moment. Would it be rude to just say that I do not want to talk to her anymore? Sorry for the length, and thanks for any advice. :( |
Question: Will my friends think I'm weird because of my night-time diapers? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:31 PM PDT I'm 12 years old and a girl and I ALWAYS wet the bed, so I wear diapers to sleep in so my bed and pjs don't get wet. My mom and dad and I agreed on it, and its working mostly, except I feel really babyish sometimes. Anyway, my friends are having a sleepover and I'm invited, and it's a boy/girl sleepover there will be like 10 of us I think. I haven't told ANY of them I pee my pants at night, let alone that I wear diaprs for it! Obviously, I need to wear them to the sleepover... but I'm scared they'll see or hear them crinkle and think I'm weird :( I've known most of them since elementary school, like 3 years and my best friend more, but I just don't know... Annnnnnd more: I think I like one of the boys..... :-/ |
Question: I'm 18 and I don't have friends..? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:29 PM PDT Hi I'm 18 years old and I have always been known as the quiet girl and an introvert. I just prefer to keep to myself because I can get irritated easily and I have grown to dislike people because of past experiences of lots of ppl ******* me over and the feeling of nobody likes me or wants to be bothered by me anyway. All the time people call me beautiful or pretty so I'm not an insecure person even though I doubt myself a lot and worry like why don't I have a boyfriend 🙄 I must send off a vibe of "don't talk to me"'when I actually want to be approached. I honestly have no friends though and it's so hard for me because I say idc about not having any but at the very end of the day I just wonder what vibe I send off for ppl to look at me like they do or maybe I over think that too. My mom always brings it up that I have no friends and I say idc I don't have any friends yet in a slight manner I DO want at least 1 FRIEND..! I say idc because at the same time it doesn't bother me and I feel like it's just me myself and I anyway .. |
Question: Is this friendship over? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:28 PM PDT last week i got in a fight with a friend at school because I said a joke and she always takes things so seriously and it wasn't even offensive. Anyways she was like " Im sick of you always saying mean things" even though she says worse mean **** to me that I don't take seriously. I said sorry plenty of times. Usually these fights only last a day. Anyways we've been ignoring her for a week, even though Im not mad and I don't want to. And I thought she was going to come back a long time ago. I just think she's better off and happier without me. Im really sad and today she came up to me and was like "I feel like its been forever since i've seen you" and "i said thats because you left me" and she said "cause u said things..." and i said " and thats why I'm staying away from you" then she said thanks and ran away. did I send the wrong message |
Question: Do you ever feel like you always have to TRY to talk to people? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:17 PM PDT Don't you get tired from trying to get people to like you because you know nobody really pays attention to quiet people? Even when you're drained, you always have to have the effort to "keep" people, or else they think something is wrong with you or you are just boring. |
Question: Why is it so hard to make friends? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:08 PM PDT i literally lost all my friends slowly. they were all pain in the *** though. Why cant i find people who share interests like mine. it sucks having no friends |
Question: How can you be more friendly and outgoing once I go to college/university? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:08 PM PDT I'm usually quiet and shy a little bit throughout high school. It had been stressful since the last 4 years of high school and never seem to make any good friends (because I was less attractive, not fun and I really not a party person). I want to change that. But nervous at the same time because I'm going to college/university and I don't want to be that weird person who's closed up and have self esteem issues and always alone and not"fun" and never had a boyfriend. Any ideas? Thoughts? Advice? |
Question: How to get people to like you? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:04 PM PDT How do I become a super like-able person? Or, how do I get everyone to want to be my friend? |

Question: Can someone give me advice on changing my life? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 04:02 PM PDT Hello. I am currently 16 and graduating 10th grade. I feel like I am a loser now. In 9th grade, I had a lot of friends and people liked me. On top of that, I was very passionate on getting into the film industry and wrote screenplays and made short films. I also had different youtube channels with many views and I uploaded videos weekly. I had lots of fun editing and making thumbnails. I also got good grades without trying. When I started 10th grade, I slowly got lazy. I gave up on all my youtube channels because I thought I needed more time for school. I stopped writing screenplays and filming. I started doing everything last minute and barely studying. By second semester, I barely talked to any of my friends. I only have the phone number of one of my friends and I used to have like 10. On top of this, my grades are declining. I stopped trying in math completely and my mark right now is a 63. I don't even try taking care of myself anymore. I barely brush my teeth and don't even eat much anymore. I really need help. I am losing all my friends, my good grades, and my passion for filmmaking. Yesterday I cried myself to sleep when I thought about an alternate future where I continued making videos and I was very popular on youtube. I also imagined people liked me in school and I still got good grades like last year. I realized I am living in the worst possible timeline and I have become a loser and I don't know the reason why. I really need to turn my life around. |

Question: I had to quit talking to my best friend, and now I'm sad. How can I move on? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:56 PM PDT For awhile now my best friend has been acting differently toward me. She doesn't come over as often, she rarely calls or texts, and she's been very rude. I made the decision to end things because when I'd talk to her about it, she'd say nothing was wrong when obviously something is. I got tired of wondering where I stood with her, and it was depressing me and making me anxious. I know I've made the right decision by ending things, but the sadness just won't go away. She was the only friend I had, and I miss doing things with her. How can I get over this without making up with her? Making up isn't an option because we've done that before, and nothing changes. |
Question: What should I do about her? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:47 PM PDT Sorry for this being long, but I REALLY would appreciate it if you read and gave your input. I'm a guy, and VERY close with a female friend of mine. Its not until the past couple of months though that she's been acting this way. We usually always respond to each other, try and hang out, and I can't imagine my life without her in it. When we do stuff together, we have lots of fun, when we text, we joke around, its a good friendship. However, now she just blatantly ignores me at times (hell she even told me when I confronted her about it). She wants to hang out, but always changes her mind or never finds a day to do so, and let me re-iterate it again, SHE IGNORES ME OUTRIGHT. She's one of my closest friends, I do whatever I can for her, I have always been there for her, but she's recently never there for me. Then, there are times when she's back to being "best buddies". Like I said, I did confront her, and she says she doesn't find me annoying, hate me, and she trusts me, but she says she just doesn't "feel like" talking to me or responding to me. Sure she can do whatever she wants, its her life, I'm just sort of hurt. I can't change her, and its her choice to ignore me and change her mind, but I don't know what to do, I don't know whats best for me. I kind of want to dump her as a friend now, since I don't seem to be important enough in her life. At the same time though, I can't think of a world without her in it. Any insight or help? |
Question: How to be a likable friend? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:39 PM PDT When I first meet a friend, people like me alot, but after we get to know each other well, I think I either become too clingy or something else. And I'm pretty much always nice to my friends, I'll give compliments like I like your shoes, shorts, hair, etc, but I don't know if I give them off to often to sound genuine. I find that I always tend to cling around with one person in a friend group, its an insecurity issue I don't know why. Only people who are less confident than me seem to find me cool, or people who really admire me like me for who Iam . Strangers like me too but the problem is, I always avoid people who could potentially become my friends bcause on the inside I know if they get to know the real me, they wouldn't like me as much because that pretty much always happens to me. I think people judge and assume I look cool, and then get to know the real me and I'm really not who they think I am.Another thing is, I kind of pick my friends on whether they make me look cool, I'llstill hangout/talk with less cooler people, but if there's someone cool that I know, I'll stick around with them more. I don't know if that makes me a tagalong or follower or whatever but thats just the way I roll...does anyone have any suggestions? |
Question: Are weed smokers okay with talking about how much they smoke weed? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:20 PM PDT So I have a new friend who is high almost all the time. He is super nice and chill about everything.. which is probably because he is high every hour of the day but I know he is a genuinely good person while sober too. I'm just wondering though, are people who smoke weed okay with openly talking about it to non weed smokers? Do they feel awkward talking about it to those kinds of people? Do they judge non weed smokers? If I talked to him about it in not a rude way would he be defensive or willing? i would just like as much of a description as I could get about how weed smokers talk to others about it. Feel free to add any more details than what I am asking for. I don't want to offend my friend! And sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I have never done it before. I'd greatly appreciate the help, thanks! This friend is probably the biggest stoner in our school and he is known for smoking a lot haha and he knows that, he doesn't try to hide it or anything so maybe this helps you answer my question about this specific person? |

Question: I don't like my best friend anymore? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:14 PM PDT My friend and I have been close since the sixth grade and now we're sophomores. She's been going to parties and getting high lately and hanging out with other people. She had invited me to come along but I think it would be awkward because it's not one of my hobbies. I just feel like we have nothing to talk about and for some reason I get irritated being around her. She's been there for me and has done things for me which is the part I can't let go. Any advice? |
Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:08 PM PDT For a long time she has been talking to guys and girls through kik and omegle. She s only 13 and it s dangerous to talk to people( sometimes adults) on the internet like how she does. She also romantically talks to guys and girls at our school and outside of our school and leads her to believe they are the only she talks to like that. This isn t a "we re friends" type of talk it s a "I think you re cute, we should go out" type of talk. It just heats me up knowing that she s playing these nice kids at our school and she s doing what s she s doing on omegle. I ve tried to talk to her along with some of our other friends, but she just doesn t care. She thinks we re being mean but we just don t want her to hurt anyone. In high school people fight over stuff like that. It s not something to play with. Basically, what I m asking is: Am I wrong to feel this way? How do I correct her without ratting her out to her parents? And am I a bad friend? |
Question: Do you think he wanted to have sex with me again? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 03:03 PM PDT I'm 29 and I had sex with a 42 year old almost year ago. He and I live in different states (but we are not in a long distance relationship). I wanted to see him again while I was in his state three weeks ago. I sent him a text letting him know I was in town and he asked me for the address. I told him I would contact him once I got to the hotel. My kid brother and I went to the park and I saw the guy there. I didn't go there looking for him we just so happened to be there at the same time. We walked passed each other but didn't speak but we did look at each other. When I got to the hotel I texted him asking him to come see me. He then told me he had left time temporarily but that he would be back the next day. I told him that I knew he had saw me at the park and that he was lying. He said he did see me at the park but that he had left town and would be back the next day. (He does work a lot travelling from time to time.) He told me before I came to see him that he might not be able to meet me. That he's having some financial issues. When he told me he had left town I went off on him and said some bad things to him. That's when he started calling and texting me telling me to answer the phone. I didn't answer and just ignored his calls completely. The next night I got drunk and continued to go off on him and again he told me to call him but I didn't. He was wrong for lying and I was wrong for going off on him. I just wish I would have got to see him while I was there. |
Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:57 PM PDT I sit in the front row at school. I mostly do all my work and don't talk to anyone and just isolate myself. I was doing all my work. Then there was a group of girls who were sitting together when I turned around. It looked like they were talking about me the whole time I was sitting in the front row. They were all looking my way and never turned around when I looked back at them. The girl I sometimes used to walk home with was even sitting with them when this was going on and she was looking my way too. Then when I was going to the bathroom I ran into one of the girls and she said something under her breath that was bad to me. Then one of her friends was with her when I went to the bathroom and I said excuse me to her and she acted like she didn't hear me and just stood there. I don't know why the girl is acting this way to me with her friends because I haven't done anything to them. I'm in high school. What do you think of this and what should I do? |
Question: What do I do when people forget my birthday? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:45 PM PDT My birthday is in the middle of the summer holidays and whenever I've held parties usually only 15 percent of the people I've invited turn up excuses range from they woke up late to they just plain forgot. Because of this I've stopped having parties and start dropping hints when it gets closer to my birthday but for the last couple of years that I've been in high school my friends have just plain forgot and go as far as to celebrate someone else's birthday and bring them balloons and stuff and just block mine out. Obviously this makes me very upset but I don't want to do anything rash or burst out in tears at school but my birthday is coming up again and I just want ideas on how to handle this. |
Question: Should I do anything about this? What should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:37 PM PDT I was in a store with my friends today, and my friends are of a Mexican race, so their skin is darker. The shop worker came up to my friends and told them they had to leave their purses/bags by the front door because they thought they were gonna steal something. Keep in mind, I'm white and they didn't tell me to put my bag down or any other white person in the stoor. My friends put their bags down but picked them up again after since she needed to get her money out to buy lipstick. Two shop workers followed us around the store watching us like a hawk. And then when we left she spoke sternly to my friend about that whatever she tells them to do they must do it or she would kick them out Because she thinks they were stealing. JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR SKIN COLOR! What should we do? Complain? |
Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:36 PM PDT So today, I went to the community pool for swim practice. There weren't many people there because it started to rain, but I was there talking to my dad about whether we should go home or not. Anyways, once I had finished talking to my dad, I sat down on this bench next to this guy that we'll call Kyle. So I don't know Kyle very well, but I know of him. There was also another girl that we'll call Julie, standing there talking to him. Here's how the convo went. Kyle: Is that your grandpa? Me: No, it's my dad. Julie: (awkward laugh) No it's her dad, you're so rude Kyle Kyle: jeez sorry, but don't blame me for thinking that like I'm pretty sure other people have too, right? Me: (nods awkwardly) For some reason I still feel upset about this but I don't know why. What can i do about it? Or how can I stop thinking about it? |
Question: Why doesn't he want to be my friend? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:32 PM PDT My boyfriend and I had a big argument. We've been arguing every other day for a week. So finally we decided to take a step back work on the problem and fix us. So I told him maybe we should work on being friends for right now because we've never argued this bad. And he says "we can't be friends" . and I said "at least try , you haven't tried to be friends" and he says "sorry I just cant" I told him I didn't want to lose him and he said I wasn't going to lose him but he won't even try and be my friend? He makes me feel like he can't be my friend because I'm a bad person. he thinks me wanting to be friends is me leaving.. But it's not |
Question: Everybody hates me in high school? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:26 PM PDT People hate me because (this is what I've heard) "I talk **** about everybody" "I'm rude" "fake." I feel that I wasn't very careful with my words back then, but I know I wasn't trying to be rude to people. I loved my friends, and I don't know why I'm being called fake. I don't smile very much, even when I think I do. Maybe that's why people think I'm serious when I'm joking a lot? Sometimes when people get offended, I don't realize it at all. This is all before, but everyone is giving me dirty looks and talking A LOT of ****. They even said "your hair looks like you dyed it with period blood" on Ask.fm anonymously. And this girl who really hates me DM'd all the guys who liked me at some point and sent a picture of me saying "isn't this the girl you liked" and all this other stuff I don't know about. I only found out because my friend told me about it. I've changed, and I've been trying so hard for people to see that. I have serious anxiety, so it's hard to actually go up to people and apologize and stuff. I'm much more careful on my words, I don't say anything when people talk bad about orhers, and I try to smile more. I really messed up, and I'm gonna end up with no friends. |
Question: Nothing to do this summer? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:22 PM PDT I moved to Jupiter a couple years ago and I'm still not used to it. It's been tough to make friends and I only have a couple. So school ended yesterday and now it's summer but I have nothing to do and my dad keeps yelling at me to have friends sleep over but I don't want to and my sisters just sleep all day and I usually go to my grandparents but they're on vacation and now I'm really bored and my dad won't stop telling me that I'm lazy and that I need to get up and do something but I'm not comfortable here in Jupiter and yes I tell him that but he says "you'll get used to it." And I start high school next summer and I'm so scared because it'll be even harder to make friends and I won't fit in. What should I do?? |

Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:18 PM PDT At school there is a girl I know has been hating me for a long time since the beginning of the school year. She always looks at me with a mean look and rolls her eyes at me. I haven't done anything to her. I don't talk to her. Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:14 PM PDT I was leaving school today. When I was walking towards the door a boy that's embarrassing to be seen talking to or being friends with approached me. Everyone says he bothers them. He gave me a specific hand shake that took long to break. Everyone saw it and it embarrased me to be seen with him or talking to him because I acted like I was enjoying it when I wasn't enjoying it by smiling and I'm mostly quiet and isolate myself from everyone. I feel like people were making fun of me while I was doing this with him. I'm in high school. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: What do I do with my friend? She s so entitled and it s so frustrating.? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:07 PM PDT I love my friend like a sister. I ve known her from literally birth. But whenever I hang out with her I just get so frustrated. Yes usually most of the time I enjoy being with her but sometimes it s ridiculous. I see her maybe once a month bc I moved. Basically she thinks that she s so much better than me and she always tries to one up me. One of the main things is that like if I say "ugh my phones about to die" (I have an iPhone she has an android" she goes on a rant about how much better her android phone is better than apple and basically acting like I m an idiot for buying an apple product. I told her like ok that s your opinion but not mine and then she goes and basically argues with me till I go "you re right Apple is stupid" like seriously? Also she thinks she is SO much better because she goes to a private school. Her school did something cool and she says "that s what you get to do when you go to a rich kid school". Like really? You re not rich stop acting like My life sucks because I don t go to some fancy school. And one time we were going to leave the house and I put some makeup on and when she saw I wore make up she s like "oh you re wearing makeup? Ugh now I have to go out on makeup". What so you can one up me? That was never my intention to one up you I just wanted to wear makeup. |
Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:03 PM PDT At school I was walking to the door and I kept saying excuse me and the person(a student) heard me but faked like she didn't hear me because there was someone coming through the door so she couldn't go out. Then she screamed at me to go through in a rude way after the person that was trying to come inside came in. She faked like she didn't recognize it was me before turning around and then when she saw it was me she took long to apologize. I didn't do anything about this and just walked through the door and I feel like my classmates will think I'm weak. I'm in high school. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: Why am I so quick to cut ppl off? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 02:03 PM PDT I'm 18. I have a huge problem with just holding grudges and never talking to a person again. It started in elementary when kids would make fun of me and to feel better I would just start ignoring ppl and looking the other way. Now I just continuously block ppl over little stuff and never talk to them again. I don't even talk to my sister at all . She would do things to me that really depressed me and my parents wouldn't believe me if the stuff she would do and I just started to isolate myself from her and she finally left me alone. Idk why I'm like this but I have absolutely no friends and I feel like it's gettin worse because I'm always deleting numbers and blocking ppl on social media I used to be very close with. |

Can you give me a list of sisterhood/sorority games without alcohol? I want something fun. I don't want outdoor games. Something everyone can do as a group |

Ever sense I graduated high school my friends have drifted away. We graduated a year ago and everything has changed and it's been terrible. They don't even want to hangout with me anymore. Posted: 03 Jun 2016 01:21 PM PDT My best friend and I made plans for today two months ago, because today is the release of a movie we were both really excited about. I made a whole itinerary of the related movies we were going to watch, and we talked about it constantly. We literally talked about this yesterday, and were both really excited, planned what food we were going to order, we even invited some friends to do it with us. Two hours before we're supposed to get together, she says she left. Her mom asked her to come home, so she just went. I asked, there was nothing going on, no important family crises or anything, and she goes home all the time, so it's not as if she hadn't seen her mom in a while, she saw her two weeks ago. I don't know, I just feel like it didn't really take much for her to bail on me. I'm kind of upset (I mean I'm not crying, and I'm not going to yell at her or anything), I just need to know if I have a right to be upset. |

Question: Does the All Day Dining Plan at Canada s Wonderland include desserts? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 01:00 PM PDT Me and my friends are going there tomorrow and I m thinking of splitting the plan between me and one of my friends. We get a meal every 90 minutes so we re planning on alternating it. The description says it includes an entree and side, excludes drinks. I m wondering if I could get a dessert as a substitute? Such as Beavertails, Dairy Queen, Funnel Cakes etc. Thanks in advance! |
Question: What to do about my friend that hates my boyfriend and is trash talking him to everyone? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:58 PM PDT A friend of mine loves making SUPER perverted jokes with everyone she knows all the time, including to our friends' boyfriends and husbands. She made some to my boyfriend one time, then he made one back. She cried foul saying he went too far and told me he isn't trustworthy and "wants" her. He apologized to her, saying he thought they were just joking around and is sorry if what he said offended her. I saw the jokes and while they were somewhat off-colored, they weren't TERRIBLE . Also for the record, let me just say that in 3 years together, I've NEVER had any reason to doubt my boyfriend. He may be a goofball who likes to banter with anyone who will take him on, but that's the extent of it. I also know for a fact he doesn't "want" my friend. In order to avoid sounding like a total shallow B, I'll just leave it at that. She SAID it was ok at the time and that she knew it was all just a joke but is now talking trash about me and him to everyone. I don't know what to do, as it's getting to the point where I don't even want to go to mutual friends' gatherings if I know she'll be there, and I'm starting to miss out on important events like graduations, house warming parties, etc. P.S. For anyone wondering, we are all grown adults. I know. I know. |
Question: Purposely took my bra off during school and people are calling me a hoe? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:56 PM PDT So it was after school and I decided to take my bra off because it's after school and I felt uncomfortable in it. I was with a group of friends. Than one of my friends took a picture of me with me using the bra as a hat because we were all playing around and put it on her Instagram. Now people are texting my brother that I'm a hoe and girls said ew that it's off, but I had a shirt on so I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal about it. Did my "friends" purposely did this to humiliate me? :( are they fake? Not to mention I don't even have big boobs . Their small and perky. Like 32A . Anyways I'm 15 btw. What do I do? Are my friends fake? How come I can't take my bra off ? Why do people call me a hoe for taking it off? |
Question: Was this a good way to stop from being heckled by my classmates? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:54 PM PDT I had to give a speech in one of my high school classes. The jocks in the class who had a negative IQ thought it would be fun to heckle me during my speech. They would ask questions that had nothing to do with my speech. One of them ask "Is it OK for men to have multiple wives"? I wanted to shut them up for good so I said. "Only if you are hung so that leaves you out doesn't it shorty"? The class erupted in laughter and I was not heckled again. Was that a good way to stop the heckling? |
Question: Friendship Advice?? PLEASE? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:50 PM PDT Alright, I have this friend let's call her AO. Me and AO have been friends since 5th grade (now in 10th) anyways in 8th grade she told me that she is Bi. I am totally okay with that, I'm straight and I knew she wasn't into me like that, if she respected me then I respected her. We were fine until recently we (like 5 people) were all hanging out at my house and she was literally twerking, half dressed (She had a bra on ???) and kept trying to get everybody to play dirty truth or dare. My parents were walking around they were there! I asked her to calm down but she's always a huge hornball. I don't care what she does in her free time but at my house in front of my family that's not okay. She's turning into a huge slut. She dry humped my bed with her legs spread WTF. My other friends were really uncomfortable and all said that we should stop bringing her to events saying stuff like "she's just trying to get someone to **** her" not only that but she's getting really physical with me. She actually hits me! I told her to stop repeatedly then she just plays innocent. I'll say something like that skirt on the rack is awful and BAM. I'm just tired of her bull and I don't know what to tell her. |
Question: Is this sexual harassment?.................? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:48 PM PDT I work in an office with 6 other women. Our boss is a 27 year old single guy who is the best boss ever. We just adore him as a boss and as a good friend. He has a great sense of humor that makes working for him a pleasure. We had our annual party where he gives out our yearly bonus checks. We have a tradition at these annual parties that when he gives us our bonus check, we give him a kiss on the cheek. We think the kiss is great fun and so does he. However our co workers from other departments tell us it is just "not right" that we kiss our boss. They say that is sexual harassment by US. To us, it is just a way of saying thank you for being a great boss. We want to tell our co workers to mind there own business. If we were sexually harassing our boss, he could fire us. Do you think we did anything wrong when we kissed our boss? The yearly bonus this year was $7000. We think our co workers are jealous? Are they? Anyone reading this like to have $7000 bonus from where you work? |
Question: Is it wrong to treat women this way? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:26 PM PDT I am male 26 and I love having female friends but I am also sociallly akward and love to stay indoors when I'm not at work. Sometimes a woman comes along who I become friends with (mainly through texts), we then start getting too close which makes me uncomfortable. To stop things from escalating I text them less frequent and I become less conversational which makes me feel guilty. |
Question: How Do I Stop My Son From Being A Jerk? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 12:01 PM PDT Hi! My son is 15 years-old, and a jerk to almost everyone around him. He constantly gets into fights and arguments to his peers. Now granted to him, the kids at his school aren't exactly nice kids. But being a jerk because people are mean to you isn't the answer. I'm not sure if it's because he doesn't have a lot of friends, or if it's because his girlfriend ditched him. But that boy is out of control with being a jerk to people around him. And he is one tough and rugged kid too, a good fighter from what I've heard. Last week, the two kids at his bus stop were picking on his little brother, and my 15 year-old son beat the crap out of them. He's kind of odd, because he has a tendency of fighting with the kids who pick on the general lonely kids, or whoever they feel is an easy target. He insults people and beats up people just for trying to pick fights with him. It's why no one wants to be his friend, probably. But it's effecting his life away from school, and I need it to stop. Any ideas? |
Question: Do you think i lost my friends? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 11:58 AM PDT i spent most of my life up until high school friend-less. i had a group that i hung out with but i was basically walked on and not really a friend more like a bich. in high school i started hanging with 3 other guys that we hung out with since and we all were always on the same page about everything. like the same music, we all smoke weed all the time together and have a blast, we all are into video games somewhat, we had a hang out spot we hung out every night in before all of us moved out and then we just hung out at each other houses. we were all give-no-fuks and these were the greatest years of my life i ever had. i spent every day with them then we all got jobs and i was the one with the shift opposite to them and so i barely got to hang out with them. it's been about a year and finally got on a different schedule. we started going to strip clubs together just about every weekend and it was me and one of them because the other two didn't go one had to work the other had a gf. then there was a big pause where i was back to my old schedule and this was around the time the other two started going because they were now able to. and now when i finally got off my old schedule we've been away for so long and now when we hung out first time in a long time it was just awkward. i dont know what changed me exactly but they seemed annoyed by my presence i could sense it but they werent like open about it or anything. they stopped inviting me to hang out lately and i dont know it's depressing me a lot though. just the thought of them drifting apart from me and not caring for my presence. i hear they have been going to the club a lot lately and have been hanging out even staying over night at this one friend's house just smoking the hooka and never caring to invite me and when i ask to hang out they are busy i guess. these are the only friends i have and i dont think i'll find others quite the same. what do i do? am i paranoid or have we really fell apart? |

Posted: 03 Jun 2016 11:32 AM PDT I ve been lying about my age to an online friend for 1,5 years now. I told him i was 17, even though i was 12. Now i m 14 (and 19 online) I lied about my age because it happens very often that when people find out about my real age they just stop talking to me. However, i have become very good friends with him and it just sucks not being able to be honest. Now a few days ago he asked for my instagram account so he could tag me in funny pics. I wanted to, but ofcourse i couldn t because i have pictures of myself on instagram (in which you can probably very obviously see i m not 19) I ve been saying i don t want to send pics (not THAT kind) of myself because i m insecure, so i used that excuse too for the indtagram thing. But he got mad, saying that "we ve been friends for 1,5 years but you still wont even let me see a pic of your face". I understand him COMPLETELY but i really don t know what to do right now! I don t want to lose one of my best friends... What should i do? Sorry for the long story and possible spelling mistakes, english is not my first language. He s 17 btw |
Question: Are all teenagers social? And what is typical teenager behavior? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 11:23 AM PDT I ask this because after reading a bit and watching a TedEd video I am very self conscious that something is wrong with me. I am 18 year old now, and during high school I had 0 friends. I didn't care about friends, all I did was be on the computer all day long learning "geeky" stuff like programming and web development. Now after reading and watching this TedEd video about the teenage brain, that makes me feel something is wrong with me. They say teenagers have peer pressure. I don't. They say that teenagers are "social butterflies". I am miles from being social. What is this and why am I odd? Am I ill? |

Question: Did this guy want to have sex with me? (10 points for best answer)? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 10:55 AM PDT I'm 29 and I had sex with a 42 year old almost year ago. My brother and I are taking another trip and I'm going to be in his state again. I told him I wanted to see him and he said lets just wait and see when the time comes. I told him that I really wanted him and that I wanted to kiss and hug him and he said ok. |
Question: Is my mom and her friends telling me the truth? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 10:33 AM PDT Here s the story. My mom and her friends told me that men who can t grow a beard like Asian can go to a beauty salon (not sure) to make a beard the way they wanted. Is this the truth? |
Question: I'm worried about that my friend is abused. Am I overthinking it? What should I do? Posted: 03 Jun 2016 10:30 AM PDT My friend has been living with a new foster dad for a few months now, and I'm getting kind of worried. He misses school constantly, isn't allowed to go anywhere because he has to do chores, and when he does show up, he's almost always hurt somehow. At first, I didn't think anything of it because he just had some bruises and I assumed he got them from playing sports or something. But last week he had little round burns all over his stomach, and weird marks and bruises on his back. Do you think he's being hurt by his foster dad? Or am I just overthinking this? |
