Fast forward to 2015, another relationship ends because the girl I was with gets upset that I work till 6 or 8 PM during the week and am unable to respond to texts when meeting with students. I join Match.com to try and meet someone but it seems that no matter how well-though the message or how sincere I am, I never get a reply because I am not "hot", good looking but not the hottest guy on Match. I feel abandoned, heartbroken, tired and alone. I have worked so hard to keep myself going, all the while hoping that my time will come and I can finally find the love that has been missing in my life. We are both from FL, but he currently lives in HI because he's in the navy. We get along great & have been talking non stop the entire week. The second night I was around him at the festival I thought to myself- he could really be the one. So here I am in tears as he leaves for Hawaii in the morning and I'm in Florida. We've already discussed me coming out to Hawaii to visit him. Could this work? or am I dumb for believing in a "fairytale" I really do like him and believe there could be something magical. I've done long distance before and it wasn't too bad. Also, he's *hopefully* moving back to florida within the next year. I don't think we met by chance-- there are way too many similarities and I just have this "feeling" about him... Please.. if you're going to answer negatively don't break me down too badly.. My boyfriend and I have been together for 3.5 years lived together for 3 years and we own two dogs which we have purchased together. We are both in school he is full time work and school I have one class and only 20-40 hours a week (varies greatly). He has always done midnight shifts and I ve always done 12-8 so we hardly ever see each other. The problem is that for the last two years we get into these arguments like once a week and then make up the next day. We both want this but it s not working. He works a lot and goes to school a lot and sometimes rubs that in my face for his anger problems because he doesn t get a lot of sleep. He pays for everything except for food which I pay for because I make a lot less then him. We are both on the lease but he s told me to get out countless times and changes his mind the next day. I can be a butt as well though and I realize I expect a lot from him with the animals and the house. We barely kiss anymore, we have sex twice a month, date nights are boring, and we don t hang out with friends matter of fact we don t do anything fun anymore. I don t know what to do. We both don t want to break up but we fight so much and hardly see each other as it is. |

I'd never make fun of her for it, but the thing is... I know what high school kids are like. (I am one). And all it takes is for one person to find out and then her whole year will know. I don't want her to be teased, and if there was anything I could do, I would. The main problem is her dad, who she lives with. He babies her and he spoils her. He let her keep her dummy until she was five, and even then my mum had to wean her off them. And now this. I understand that a lot of people still sleep with teddies- even i have a couple next to my pillow-, but I think she takes it too far. We live in different counties, so she stays every third weekend and half of every school holiday. She brings the teddy with her, and it cuddles it when she sleeps. Just now, she stole and hid my deodorant, so i picked him up and took him to the other side of our shared room. I held him carefully, like a baby and i didn't threaten and to hurt him. In fact, i said. "It's okay. Im not hurting him. Im just holding him. Give me my deodorant and you can have him back." She had tears in her eyes, and i caved and gave him to her. Eventually i got her to give back my deodorant, but it made me realize how bad this is. Im worried about her, but i don't know what to do. This cant go on. |
