I told him that I'm coming to live with him after making enough money to support myself when I DO get there. I gave him so much false hope. My mother lives in Germany and she called me to tell me that she had a baby. My mother is UNSTABLE. She's abused me all my life and I'm worried about my baby brother. She's already abusing him. She called me and told me that I need to come and mother her child. I love my little brother, and I won't let him go through what I went through. He's going to be safe with me. My father left on my mother and things are becoming difficult. I decided to end things with my boyfriend because I had so much to think about. It was the hardest decision of my life and I broke him, AND myself. I cut all contact because I want to move on and not drag him and give him false hope. I left him 2 weeks ago and now I can't cope. I'm leaving to Germany in a week. I can't stop crying, I can't eat. I feel lost, I feel like life isn't worth living anymore. It feels like death. It feels like a part of me died. I'm just laying here in my bed filled with sorrow and grief. I skipped work for 2 days now. I feel like I've done something so wrong. I cut ALL contact with him and I deleted everything that I had with him because I had to do this for my baby brother. I feel like this pain in my heart will NEVER ever end. It feels so nasty, I can't even explain. It feels like My heart is about to stop. I miss him sooooo much it hurts. How long will this grieving process take? I'm already sick to my stomach from the pain. I can't handle it anymore. I want to scream and wreck this house up. Please help. He's American, I'm Canadian... I'm 22 years old and currently attending college full time in my hometown. Having been socially awkward and shy for a good chunk of my life up until this point, I've never really had a girlfriend or any kind of female companion. I fly solo most of the time avoiding pretty much everyone because I'm just so d*** socially unconditioned. There have been a few cases where I've tried to come out of my comfort zone but eventually I end up shrinking back again because most people just don't seem to understand me too well. I don't know where to go from here because I think getting a girlfriend is a little bit ahead of where I am right now. I'm looking toward just gaining friends to get a social foundation going but it's hard when I have no social credibility yet. Many people mistreat me and assume unnatural/unhumane things about me because I'm so reserved. I try to speak up sometimes but it usually ends up either sounding stupid or getting deflected. His dad never did, either, and neither of them took any hormones or anything as treatment. They just stayed small, and looked like children. People can walk in and not say anything at all to me good morning ect and I feel like I always have to make an effort to start conversation with people. I am very friendly and I sincerely try to get people to like me but I feel like no one really likes me for me and it's always a struggle. Then we made up and I said I've learnt from what I've done and it wont happen again.... I was so happy after we made up and felt most connected with her that night.. I woke up and felt no emotions or any feeling towards anyone..it was like I was a different person, still feels like it. I've loved my family forever and my girlfriend for months, and to not feel anything towards any of them is heart breaking.... I know I still love them otherwise I wouldn't cry everytime I think about them and how I'm feeling. I've always loved my girlfriend and to feel nothing now is really such a horrible feeling, I've made countless promises that I will never leave her and that we will always be together which hasn't changed, I just want to feel like myself again and be able to feel the love I have for the people I care about. I cant eat, I haven't eaten a lot for days..ive had about one meal a day since I've felt like this, my stomach hurts and I have the constant feeling of throwing up, I haven't seen my girlfriend for ages and not while we've been dating. So I don't know why I feel like this, its been two days now and I just want this emptiness to go away and for me to feel care and love again. |

I am now remarried. I still got a nice gift on my birthday from Joe. My current husband Bill was very upset that I got a gift from my former husband. He told me he didn't want me getting any more gifts from Joe. I told Joe to not send me any more gifts and he said he understood and he did not want to cause ANY PROBLEMS with my marriage. He did however continue to send gifts to my mother. When we were at my mothers house my current husband say a new wide screen TV and he ask mom where it came from. She did not want to tell him but she finally told him Joe had given it to her. When we got home Bill told me to tell Joe not to send my mother any more gifts as it made him look bad because we did not give mom any expensive gifts like the TV. I told my husband I can not control who Joe gives gifts to and I will not tell him to stop giving mom gifts. He is mad at me for not contacting Joe and tell him to stop giving mom gifts. But now I wanna go to him because he honestly was a good friend at times. He always listened to me even if he didnt always give the best advice. But I told him to never contact me again and now I'm gonna look stupid going to him for comfort , and plus i dont wanna risk getting in trouble with my parents because they dont like him. I don't want a relationship with him, its just that I need someone to help me really bad and comfort my fears. I'm afraid of looking stupid and then he's gonna be like "told you so" because he told me that he knows I will go back to him because I've done it before, I would get mad over something dumb or ignorant he would say but later apologize, and this last thing really sent me over the edge, it wasn't fair what he said and he knew how bad it hurt my feelings so he understands why i stopped talking to him but at the same time he thinks I need him because I usually went to him for advice or comfort. It's been almost 2 months and I think I can help myself or seek advice elsewhere but the urge to talk to him is strong. What should I do? Is he worth seeking comfort and advice from? Anyways, lately I've been going after school every time she has after hours and I just chill and use her iPad. By the way, I'm probably the only student she allows to use her iPad whenever I want for non-school related stuff. One time afterschool when we were both packing up to leave I told her about my mom who always comes home super late and I rarely get to see her. She said "Awee so you're all by yourself?" and asked if I was a only child and I said yea. She said "just like my son and that she should adopt me jokingly. For english we have to do a PSA or Documentary. To do the project you need a group. I don't have one. I ask one person, but she has a group. I would ask another personif i could join her group but i am not really friends with her. And she has a group already I feels weird to ask the teacher for a group. |

Posted: 30 Mar 2016 07:35 PM PDT readings just not my thing. i don't find reading enjoyable. but my mom does. she would read every second of everyday if she could. but i absolute HATE reading, but i love music. and she constanly yells at me telling me I'm stupid because i don't enjoy reading. i am a straight A student, and i just want to prove to her that you can be smart, but still not like reading. any suggestions? |
| Question: How to stop a younger brother? Posted: 30 Mar 2016 07:23 PM PDT My brother is horrible, I'm 14 and he is 11. He broke the lick on my door because I would lick it and if he needed me he would shake the lock till I opened the door. Now I can lock it but it pops open so he can get in as he pleases. When I'm not at home he takes it as a chance to reign freely. He leaves food wrappers and takes my charger and moves stuff and doesnt put anything back. Tonight about set me over because I had gotten these nice new watercolor brushes and paints that I had saved up for. I had something to do at churcj and while I was gone he went in. I came home and he had taken the brushes and tried to paint. He used all the force he possible could and the bristles on a couple were destroyed. He also left the paints out and left pieces of crumpled paper everywhere. He also left a brush on the floor and left others just laying out and didnt put them on the washing starion/holder. He also broke the latch on the paint holder and MIXED THE PAINTS TOGETHER ON THE PAINT PANS!!! I can't stand him ruining my nice thongs anymore and it isnt fair! My mom says she doesnt want to fuss and that he is having problems at school so I cant be hard on him! WHAT DO I DO?! |

I've been texting him for a few weeks now and I'm pretty sure he knows I like him because a lot of people who knew, knows him. So basically we've made plans to go to the movies last Saturday then afterwards head over to my place, but he cancelled because he said his family from Utah was visiting, which I do understand. Then on Monday he asked to ditch school on Tuesday and chill at my place, I told him not at my place because my mom would be home, but maybe like at Starbucks. Then that never happened either?! I texted him and he always responds hours later, but he'll be on instagram wth. He texted me hours later saying that he could drive me home after school, I said sure where do you want to meet. He told me where and I said ok, he then said or do you want to leave early, I said how early? He stopped texting once again and a min right before school was going to end he texted saying he left early. The bell rung and I was walking with my friend out the gate, and who do I see...him in his car now just leaving school. So I texted him saying sure, I just saw you but it's good. He nevered replied back. Why does he keep doing this, what does it all mean? Mix signals much? |

| Question: My BF won't go to the dentist? Posted: 30 Mar 2016 04:39 PM PDT My BF is 27. He used to smoke, but he quit for me because it bothers my asthma. But he chews tobacco all day, every day. He told me he hasn't seen a dentist in 6 years, and I was straight up honest with him and told him I wouldn't date a guy who lost a bunch of his teeth. He said he was going to make a dentist appointment last week, and never did. I asked him again today if he made an appointment yet, and all he says back is "nope." And lately, his breath is kickin. If we're in a small room, it will literally stink up the air. Not to mention a huge turn off during sex. I tried to drop hints, but finally just told him his breath is a bit off. But why isn't he making a dentist appointment? Not sure what to do. |

I think I am ready to give up .. Al these years problems in family ,myself anger problem , now and school expelled .. My life is falling apart .. Please i need someone to talk to me... (My other professors are all relatively friendly and talk about their personal lives with their students, but this teacher is new and seems more cagey.) Anyway, does this read ok? I'm not quite sure how to formulate it... Dear x, I feel stupid for asking/talking about things you consider personal/intrusive, just because my other teachers here don't consider these things intrusive. I should remember that teachers from other institutions are different with their students. I'll likely forget most of what you say anyway. Posted: 30 Mar 2016 03:16 PM PDT i'm 21yo, student , had 1 argubly serious relationship for over a year, i am not religious but i am not an atheist(doesnt really matter which it is for the question). the problem, it started a while ago, usually my best buddies like to go out, beach bars, night clubs, whereever they can find girls for a one night stand or whatever and ofc drink... Now i don;t have anything against a beer, vine or whatever, but i really do try to restrain myself from having kinda meaningless sex with girl i don't really know, tho my body says yes my mind says no, in my opinion, Sex was meant to mean something, and i might enjoy more a serious relationship, in the other hand i have the fear that something that my friends warned me will happen, i will feel like a missed someting crucial in my life, going on parties, spending time with hot chicks, you know the story too well i guess, tho i might fear that might happen, i would despise myself for behaving like an orangutan, so i really try to be a moral person, not because of religion, or what might someone else think ,rather cause that's the way i can be happy with myself ... i would like to hear your thoughts on this matter |
