I was a wonderful mommy to her but my family didn t help or defend me at all. Since then they have blamed me for losing her along with everything else that goes wrong. I get ignored and bullied every other day. They only ever notice me when I ve done things for them even though I m disabled and shouldn t be doing half of what I do to please them and am still fighting for my disability. I only have one friend who isn t always able to come over and talk about things with me but does see how they treat me sometimes. The only thing keeping me going is the thought of seeing my daughter one day but idk how much longer that s going to be enough. I ve also started college and am doing good in school. I started to like him back a bit, and we began teasing each other a lot. Recently he began hiding all of my things in this one club as a way to tease me. I used to enjoy his company, but recently, I've begun feeling a bit uncomfortable around him, almost as if something is off. Today he hid my things around the room, and his brother told me to hide his jacket. Luke heard his brother talking to me about him, so he asked him, "Did you touch my laptop?" I jokingly told him that he did, and Luke got really angry and hit his brother. I thought that that this was just "tough brotherly love" so I hid Luke's jacket as he was distracted. However, as he was looking for it, I sensed that he was frustrated, and he threw a full water bottle at me. I felt uncomfortable because I couldn't tell if he was sincerely mad at me, and I just felt like he became too aggressive. Once he found his jacket, he went back to normal, but this isn't the first time I've felt uncomfortable. One of my friends warned me about Luke when I told her that I was thinking about asking him to prom. She showed me a sexist post he wrote against feminism and how he didn't think the gender wage gap existed, and my friend was afraid that if I got closer with this guy, I would get hurt. I dont think I have any real friends. My only friends here often leave me out of things and I cant tell why. Nobody ever texts me, I always have to do it first. When we are together we get along well. We have had some great times. But on SMedia they never send me anything and i sometimes see a select few of some of them whispering to each other when Im around. My friends here avoided the question when I asked them about doing housing next year and they have gone and gotten an apartment without me. Now I have nobody to room with next year. I feel the same about my high school friends too although they do not leave me out like they used to. As far as I can tell, its not that my friend group and I dont have chemistry. Although I am a car guy and they arent, we have many things in common. About as much as my HS friends. So what am I doing wrong? What is wrong with me? My question is. What can I do about this? At this point it seems like these guys are just temporary friends and I want to make more friends next year by joining a racing team. I'll have to travel from home which is 4hrs a day. Basically, she met him through my boyfriend, which is his cousin. They aren't even together and already have problems. The first few weeks of them talking, they talked everyday. It slowly died. He would talk to her once a day and wouldn't call her in the afternoon. He had lost his job and his phone got cutt off (HE LIVES IN A DIFFERENT STATE BY THE WAY). He went almost 3 weeks without talking to her. Eventually, he emailed her. Some time after that, he didn't make it to see her for valentine's day. Then, one time he came to visit his family, which is the same town she lives in. Didn't even drive a hour away to see her from there. He ignored her after that and days later said they should break it off. SHE BROKE DOWN CRYING! I was confused because out of six months she only seen him 4-5 times. They have been fine for these past couple of weeks but the other day my boyfriend told me something. I asked her could she drive me to see him on his birthday since he sold his car. She told me no. He said she a hater and is mad because my cousin don't care for her like that. Then, he realized he messed up telling me. Did he say this because he is mad or it the truth???? Maybe I shouldn't say anything?? |

He is a great friend of mine, and I cannot support him or his family financially because he is now in a different state and I am underage. Either ways, I feel like I always have to lie when I'm messaging him because of my status. For example, I'll be at a restaurant and I'll be texting him and he'll say something like "my stomach hurts, I haven't eaten in two days," and I'll feel really guilty because he'll ask me where I am and I'll say something like "at a friend's house". What do I do? I don't want to keep pretending, but I can't get rid of this guilt? |
| Question: Friends comments about me training to join the marines.? Posted: 19 Mar 2016 12:10 PM PDT I had been wanting to join the marines since I was a young teenager. Now I am 20 years old, college student and its always been on the back of my mind that I am wasting my time as it's not something I feel like I was born to do. So jokingly, he asked if I'm trying to get a beach body (Been working out to meet H&W ratio requirements) and I said I am finally going to enlist in the Marine Corps. He's in the Airforce and he asked if I want to be a "war pig". Got extremely offended and said "You shouldn't waste your life for a country full of ungrateful people". I was shocked. Hes an Aerospace Propulsion Specialist and claims airforce is the future of warfare. I tried to explain the reason why I wanted to join but I now realized that he wouldn't understand as its just a fire that burns inside me since I was young. Not really a question but will like to hear others thoughts. |

Nobody really hates me and then my other friend looked to me and smiled and said yes. I looked at them with concern and asked if that meant i was unimportant. They started shouting at me because i take everything and perceive jt in a wrong way. Im usually the peacemaker in my group. Im always laughing and smiling at people and people tell me that they love being around me and that im kind but im not too nice. Does that mean im unimportant? |

Last month he started telling me that he wanted to kill himself because his family was putting pressure on him, constantly having unsuccessful relationships, he has no future, and is headed nowhere and he couldn't take it anymore. I tried to convince him not to kill himself but he said he would end up doing it anyways. Then the day after I talked to him (which was last month) he put in his Instagram bio "2/27/16" and I checked my following feed and I saw no activity from him. The last message I received from him was "I can't talk for a while, I'll message you later or tomorrow." Its been a month since I heard from him. He won't respond to my texts either. I even checked his hometown obituary and there were no records under his name. Should I try calling him? Did he really kill himself? |

I'm almost 21 and he's 25 now. So he's had problems with drugs. By drugs I mean marijuana, pills, and he's done heroin a few times. I met him while he was in rehab so I've seen him at his worst and his best. Here's where it's complicated. Me and him have had sex once, but we both decided it was best if we just stayed best friends. And we have. He's on treatment right now in Sacramento which is about an hour away from where I live. My parents made plans for us to go to a beach house over spring break, but I'm not able to go for two of the days because I work. So yesterday, my mom asked me "so you're working on Sunday, and you're driving down on Monday right?" And I said "no on Tuesday, because I'm visiting someone." She said "who?" And I said "Jake." She gave me an awful look and said that I need to stop wasting my time and that I'm stupid for even wanting to hang out with him. And today my dad said that I better not bring him into our house cause my friend is poison. It pisses me off that they are so critical of him even though they know he's been trying and he's been clean for five months now, which is pretty good for him. I don't really tell them anything at all about my personal life because they are always so quick to judge. My moms brother is a former addict so I would think she would be a lot more compassionate. What should I do? |

I told him that I was serious, and he was just like "Yeah... okay, who would you have even cheated with? You don't even talk to people." I got really frustrated because I was trying to be honest with him and he literally laughed in my face. I kept trying to tell him I was serious but he kept laughing, so then I started laughing and now he really thinks I was just kidding. I'm really shy and he knows I have social anxiety issues and I don't really leave my house a lot. My brother has this friend who I've known since we were kids. We always had a bit of a romantic connection and we have kissed a few times, but never became anything more that friends, and nobody ever knew about it except for my brother. He was really popular and didn't want people to know that he was having a thing with the "quiet girl." Once I got a boyfriend we stopped hanging out, but a couple weeks ago, I had gone to stay at my brother's house for the weekend, and long story short, the friend came over on that Saturday and we wound up having sex. The whole thing only lasted for about 6 minutes. I asked him to stop because I felt really bad about it. My boyfriend still thinks I was joking and I don't know what to do. Should I just break up with him? We've been together a year and a half. |

He won't just say that he has other plans, or that he doesn't want to do anything that day, which would be a perfectly fine thing to say, but he just feels the need to lie. He lies about a lot of other things to, like when he does say he wants to do things with me, he always wants to do something other than what he said. He will say "lets play video games," but when he gets to my house he says "no, we talked about this. You agreed to help me bury this duffel bag," and it's full of chopped up raw meat and bones, and it smells bad. Other times he will say he wants to go to the game store with me, but then he insists I agreed to fill a vial with blood, or help him tape sheets of plastic all over the floor in a warehouse. then he gets really upset, and tells me never go back to that warehouse. |

My bestfriend and I have been bestfriends since we were 2, we are now 13. Her dad died last year and ever since then is been different. She is always really awkward around me and she never can keep a conversation but with her and my good friend they are bestfriends. This is so confusing sorry! It is just hurting because whenever I want to hang out with my bestfriend she is always with my good friend. I love them both and I have loads of other friends that I love too it's just I've told my bestfriend everything and I don't want us to split up. :( |

I get home and get things ready and always make dinner for her. She comes in at 5:30 and doesn't want to eat because she's going out with friends and didn't tell me. She always hangs out with a married couple from work. She gets home at like 11 or 12 every night she goes out with them. We both have jobs that require us to be at work 7 days a week. I understand she needs time with her friends but I dont get to go out with mine because I have to do all the housework. We never have sex anymore and never spend and time together outside of the few minutes in the morning before work, when she gets home, and when she comes home at night. She seems to always get defensive when I ask her for details of what happened. It's always the same "we went to the bar and had a couple drinks". |

So in high school the four of us we were really close. We ate lunch together every day and hung out at each others houses. Me and my friend (Ill call him "james") both went to college (separate schools) and are still really close. The two other girls (ill call them "sarah" and "sam") didn't do much after high school. They just continued working at the local grocery store. Nothing has changed for them in the past two and half years. We had a great time in high school together and we were really close. They are my only remaining friends left in the area when I return home from college. On the other hand, I just don't feel like Sarah and Sam add value to my life anymore. I still talk to james often and were still close. Since Sarah and Sam didn't go to college (and they wont) I feel like I cant relate to them anymore. Should I keep them as friends? Im asking if sarah and sam are worth keeping as friends. |
