He is an alcoholic and I've asked questions on here before about how she won't let me see him because of it, I am 14. I want to see him and I know he might be weird because he drinks but that is okay as my uncle on my mother's side gets that way sometimes (she lets us see him at holidays but not our Dad). I don't believe she is protecting us but just using us to get him back and protect herself from not having to see him (I don't blame her for not wanting to see him as the ex-wife). So what do I do?

So I haven t always had the best relationship with my dad. He barely spends time with my family, which consists of my younger sister and mother. My mother pretty much provides everything for me, from food to clothes. He barely respects her as well. (They currently sleep in different rooms). The fights are usually verbal, which I dislike because my sister is barely ten and she s already used to it. So my dad has now brought his nephew s children to stay with us and he s been putting them over us, like he constantly motivates and tells them he loves them (which he never tell me.) Honestly, I don t even know what to do about the whole situation. I feel like their fighting has had an emotional toll on me as I am now reclusive. I don't have many friends anymore so it's hard to tell someone what I'm going through. I'm also currently in my last year of high school so the whole ordeal has been stressing me out.

Am I out of luck? I was supposed to be in this talent show in my city for a $1000 dollar cash prize if I won. The person in charge of the talent show is a friend and once co worker of mom. He asked for us to send in a professional looking photo that he would display on the screen during our act. I waited and never sent in the photo for a month probably until yesterday at 4:32 PM. I inboxed him on Facebook because I can't text him directly. He called at 10pm yesterday and my mom talked negatively about me, how irresponsible I am and how I don't meet deadlines. She asked me while on the phone with him, did I send in the photo(suspecting that he asked her to ask me), and I said yes. Yet she never told him that. She continued to bad mouth me. Apparently he hadn't checked his facebook inbox that day and forgot I couldn't send through text. My mom calls me in the room and tells me I'm out the talent show after she's done talking to him on the phone. It seems like she did it on purpose. I inboxed him this morning again on Facebook explaining I had sent the photo hours before he called. Whenever he gets back on Facebook, he will see it. He was last online Sunday.  Am I out of luck? Do you think I'm permanently out the talent show?

My parents want me to finish the year. I enjoy it, I just miss the U.S. and being around my own family and my little siblings. I've been in this school since I was ten or eleven and I'm now sixteen. I can't stand my mom. She complains that I complain 24/7. "You're a spoiled little *****" "You're ******* stupid and weird, you're an accident". Is what she commonly says. She buys me stuff I don't want like once a year and I pretend amused but I don't like it. She thinks buying me one thing will make me suck up to her. She says other kids are better than me and I'm spoiled. The thing is, I consider spoiled: getting everything and being ungrateful. My Mom and Dad had me when they were like 20. Not sure what happened, but they never got married or anything. My Dad had my brother when I was 6 with a lady I really didn't know. And then he married my stepmom (who is not my brother's mom) and she had my two sisters when I was 10 and 12. When I was 12, my Mom also had a baby with my stepdad. There are 5 of us, but only my two sisters are full blood together. The rest of us have different parents. It's weird. I love them, but I think it sucks that I'll never have a real brother or sister who I live with all the time. I'm jealous my sisters have that. People complain about their brother or sister always wanting to play or whatever, but I think it would be cool. Instead, it's like I have these way younger kids around who I can only see sometimes. If I stay at my Mom's, I miss seeing my sisters. If I stay at my Dad's, I miss seeing my baby brother. And my brother closest to my age is almost always with his Mom, so I rarely see him. My mom bought me a sewing machine, because I have a special skill for sewing, when I saw it I had realized I wouldn t be able to use it. This sewing machine was an industrial model, and they tend to make a lot of noise. So my little sister is very violent. Whenever I say something she doesn't like, she resorts to violence. I'll admit sometimes I can say mean things IF she says them to me first. But over the littlest things she hits me! Like I saw this funny video of a girl and I said I thought it was my sister at first glance. For some reason my sister got really offended and slapped me in the middle of the store. It was really embarrassing and since my mom won't do anything, I grabbed her hand and said don't ever hit me again. She just said "don't be mean" and walked away. She also has a very nasty attitude and always makes me self conscious (she points out my acne ALL the time) but I can throw attitude right back. But I won't hit her because my mom will yell at me. Also she knows I'm anemic and I bruise very easily. She once punched my jaw and I had a nasty bruise and had to go to school like that! Makeup couldn't cover it and I got asked if my parents hit me. This is so humiliating and infuriating and my parents won't do sh*t. Trust me, I've told my mom this plenty of times and my mom said don't be mean. But I almost never say mean things to my sister. I'm 18 and my sister is 25 and in law school. Ever since we were little, we've had a strained relationship. We're polar opposites; me being sensitive, emotional, and immature and my sister being introverted, intellectual, and aloof. When we were little, my sister would make me cry constantly (I was extremely sensitive and immature for my age) and she would tell me to grow up. When she went off to college five hours away, our relationship improved greatly since she was no longer at home to taunt me. Now that she's in her third year of law school, she has become even more aloof and refuses to answer any text messages unless they are of importance to her (not just to talk or talk about our days). I personally think it's because she's so busy right now with her internships, workload and relationship that she doesn't have time to talk to me. Even if she doesn't have a lot of time, it hurts a lot that she's only willing to talk to me if she needs something. She's treating my parents similarly, calling them if she needs money, but still taking the time to talk to them. What can I do to improve our relationship? How can I talk to her about this? Why is she acting like this? I love my sister but I'm not sure if she loves me...

A few weeks ago when I told him it was time for school he said "Well grandma's gunna drive me okay?", she couldn't that day and then he cried. I explained to him the best I could why that wasn't nice. (It made me feel like Im not as good as grandma, and that he'd rather be with grandma). I KNOW that's not what he meant. I knew he just meant he wanted a ride. I just want him to understand how that came across as hurtful. Then today I asked if he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese and he said "Well only if grandma can drive me.". That really hurt my feelings, as it made me feel like I was doing something nice for the kids ad it wasn't good enough to him because we'd have a 25 minute bus commute. I realize that kids say what they think, usually without the intention of being hurtful. But this is the second time he's made me feel less than grandma because I don't drive. I thought he had at least somewhat of an understanding now. When, in your opinion is it old enough to start being punished for saying hurtful things? And why? I want him to understand why he's in trouble, so is 5 too early to be punished for this?

Okay, so my mom found out that my username or ROBLOX, an online building game, is "GuestBomber1598." Now, she's assuming I chose a bad username because I have the word "Bomber" in it, as if I'm some kind of terrorist. Now, she's keeps bringing up this topic to forcefully sink it in. I've tried to explain to her several times that it's just a username and It'd be a rather idiotic assumption to think I'm some form of terrorist, but she dodged my position entirely and continued what she was doing. I am a single mom and my pre-teen argues everything. I need to know how not to engage but she does it when we are trapped in a car, trapped at a restaurant and places I can't just walk away. This morning, she has a doctors appointment at noon. We were trapped in the car while I was driving her to school and she was saying "Why do I have to go to school for 3 hours, it's stupid". I have a part time job now and are in college full time for a bit longer. My oldest cousin who graduated a few years back works a good job but due to cuts he might lose it. Another has two jobs. One at a grocery store and a bank, and gets paid in a band. What helps is we have a big Italian family BUT my parents are getting old as well as my uncles and aunts. Us cousins have to step up and being able to afford our own home. I'm so afraid cause I'm in retail now and the world is tougher than when my parents were 23. Economic job wise anyways. Wasn't as many robots taking jobs! The solution is to find another job but in s country that favors rich and leaves poor to suffer most of the time, how does one deal with fear of eviction, health issues with no insurance, FOOD??

Ok so this summer my retarded school district decided to lower our summer by two weeks to rearrange our school schedule. Everyone is pissed about this but I don t think they will change the idea. Now I dont really care about two weeks taken away, my main issue is that my parents are divorced and I dont get to see my dad often. I see him a few times a month and just about the entire summer. He lives in Michigan for business so it is hard for him to fly down every so often. in the summer he always flies me up. Schools out June 10th and Starts Aug 10th so we have 2 months, my moms side of the family always has this one week tradition of a vacation and thats June 22-26 and then I have a small one week cruise July 9-17 leaving the only time to see my dad the 18-aug 10 Anyone got any ideas? He said he will fly me up to michigan twice this summer. I know I am going on a cruise so thats a Plus but i really like seeing my dad in the summer.

So basically my mom and I moved to Houston last year and we are staying with her gay bestfriend and he was all nice but he like secretly hates my mom and always talks about her but I'm just quiet about it so drama won't be created and we move for the fourth time. She is 37 and has 1 kid which is 10.I'm 16. Anyways, lately I've been going after school every time she has after hours and I just relax and use her iPad. By the way, I'm probably the only student she allows to use her iPad whenever I want for non-school related stuff like gaming or netflix. One time afterschool when we were both packing up to leave her class I mentioned my mom who always comes home super late and I rarely get to see her. She said "Awe so you're all by yourself?" and asked if I was a only child and I said yea. She said "just like my son and that she should adopt me jokingly. And I always go to her and talk about issues and she knows about my family issues. Today afterschool I got sad that she couldn't go to our basketball game so I got emotional and cried a little because she promised me for the longest time and this was our last game. Even though she was busy because nobody watches her son she agreed to bring her son and stay for a while then they had to leave. She said that she didn't like when I made her feel guilty about me. And she told me that she tries to be there for me as much as possible but she also has a 10yr son outside of school. I email her every other day as if we were texting and I usually title it "hi mom" and she is fine with it.

All he does is lazy around the house doing nothing to help out, walks around half naked, argues with my mom over little things that s sometimes he s fault! and once in a while they have intercourse so loud after there done arguing. I cant take it anymore. I cry at night thinking...I feel as if he is changing or taking my mom away from me in a relational way. I try to tell my mom my feeling but she just has the "talks" with me and that s it. She a great mom don t get me wrong. Also if I tell my friends they either make fun of me crying or good to their life stories which isn t helpful! But he expects me to approve of him..idk what do I do?

She's so popular in our city. We live in a small town and almost everyone knows one another and everyone likes her. She's a hairdresser so she's very popular with women It doesn't help that she's very pretty and gets so much attention from everyone on Facebook, especially guys. With every selfie she gets at least 500 likes and people share her pictures and comment on how beautiful she is. She also wears celebrity like clothing and nice high heels. She's like a mini celebrity. It really makes me jealous and it makes me compare myself to her. I wish i could grab everyone's attention and i wish people liked me but they don't. How can i stop being so jealous and stop comparing myself to her? How can i become comfortable with her selfies and not feel bad about myself when she post pictures of herself. I sometimes find myself not wanting to like her selfies because she already receives so much praise from everyone else.

Ok, let me make this short, I am 16 and a half. I was told to watch my 11 year old sister for the week. Because my mum and dad have a business trip. My sisters not hard to handle so i agreed. The first 2 nights she was ok.But just last night when she went to bed, she slept on the floor with the dog. (i know its weird lol she likes to do that sometimes) the next morning her ear was clogged. So apparently we have roches because i then got a flashlight and looked through her ear and found a cockroach! She is terrified and so am i lol. So i called my parents and they left there trip early. But I am in Florida and they are in California so its gonna be a while! I am at the bottom of florida (right bye the beach) so its gonna be longer because they have to go ALL the way through Florida. They took a plane to CA and now have to drive back to Florida because they dont have a plane ticket. (they are getting a ride home from my aunt in CA) I dont know what to do now???!!! i been trying like 2 hours to get it out but i cant! What should i do?? Sorry its so long lol >3 peace

Okay so my fiancé and I have been together now for almost 4 years but she's always been really secretive and kept about her family. Her sister is like her best friend and comes over a lot she is only 15 and my fiancé is 21. The other night her sister was going to sleep over and we were watching a movie that her sister suggested from lifetime. It was about a girl who got raped and how she struggled from keeping quiet for years. After the movie was finished I was joking around saying about how the girl was stupid because she kept quiet so long. That it was her fault they couldn't do anything to her attacker because she didn't want to speak up about it. My fiancé got super defensive and started arguing about how that was so Inconsiderate for me to say that I didn't understand it. She just got super quiet and started crying, her sister left and called me later on that night telling me how my fiancé had gotten sexually abused by her dad when she was 8 and that she didn't speak out about it for 5 years this continued until she ended up in the emergency room and was forced to talk. It killed me it destroyed me hearing this because I never knew and hours prior I was just insulting this situation. My fiancé has told me it was okay that I didn't know and that she loves me but I hate myself right now for what I said and making her cry. If anybody has gone through this what can I do to not only make me feel better but her especially. To show her she has my support

I got a pair of glasses and they don't fit to well, and my mum just screamed at me and made me want to kill myself more than I already want to. I don't even want to repeat the things she said about me. Then she tried to hug me, but I was still really upset, so I asked if I could a have a few minutes becuase I needed to calm down, and then she called me a 'retarded ungreatful bitçh' then slammed my door so hard the hole house shook. Then she yelled that if I don't stop she will beat me like she used to when I was little. Then she left the house, came back, and yelled Some more, and now I'm really scared. She often hit things and gets really angry when she's drunk, and I'm scared she may hurt or even kill me to get me out of the way. I've tried to say I'm sorry but she won't believe me and I'm too scared to say anything to her now. Should I be scared?
