There's this boy in my band class who plays saxophone. I play trumpet so I'm a about 5 five people away and I noticed he hardly plays. He usually just has his head down in his lap and looks like he's crying. I did some asking around and I found out he's not crying, but no one actually knows what he's doing. I had this kid in my classes last year and I know he's sensitive. One time we were doing a project and he just broke out in tears. my friend told me that my best friend is going to rent a beach house for 3 days. my friend told me that my best friend might invite her other friend which I don t have a problem with. I just felt like it was kind of rude that she didn t even tell me about it. My best friend and me have very similar interests. We both play tennis, guitar, sing, dance, and are good in school. My friend is very insecure yet it is always clear she has the best singing voice and is the best at guitar but because of her insecurity she will never stop reminding me of the fact that she is better. The few things I am/was better at, like school and tennis she makes it her personal goal to beat me, which is okay, and I'm glad that I push her to be better, but it doesn't make me feel good when she constantly is upset if I get a good grade or make a good shot, and when she does better she rubs it in my face constantly. My company is being taken over by another company and they notified us that our department was being eliminated. This will put 11 women out of work. The new company offered us a new position with higher pay if we complete a training course. They found an employee, Bob to give us this training at no cost to us. We take 4 hours of training each Saturday morning. Bob is 25, single and a great looking guy and a great guy to give us his time to train us. He is not getting paid to do this training. All 11 of us gals have called him after work or after class to ask for help and he is always available to help us when we need help. We all thought the least we could do to repay his kindness was to take him to lunch after class. When I told my husband about this he had a fit. I am the only guy in my high school AP physics class. My classmates are all good friends of mine. Most days a few of them ask me for help with their homework so I help them in the library after school. They really appreciate the help and on Fridays they bring treats that we share. They call this is a mini thank you party for my help. We all have a lot of fun doing this. Some times they give me a hug and say thank you and sometimes they give me a kiss on the cheek and say thank you. Where I work the company owner, my boss brought in his new wife and introduced her to us employees. Our boss John is in his 40s and his new wife is in her early 20s, my age. A few days later he ask me if I thought his wife was cute. I said, "I had not give it much thought but yes she is cute". My friends and my family always come running to me the second something goes wrong. Crying and going on and on about this or that and I'm always there with the "it'll be okay"s and " you're so right"s and I'm always there to give advice. Alright, so I m 15, just like my best friend (person A), we ve known each other since kindergarten, but we became close in 4th grade. So I've always kinda copied my friends a lot. I don't think they really cared, but I thought I was being really annoying yet I couldn't stop. Like my friend started drawing, and I learned to draw. I don't normally have interests of other 19 year olds. I like many things like TV shows. sports, and going out, but they are completely different with others. While everyone talks about their "bae" and going to raves and getting wasted, I'd rather watch a classical music concert, go shopping, watch a movie, or eat out. Recently a friend invited me to a Holi festival, and It doesn't seem like I'll enjoy it. Crowded, sweaty, with dumb electronic music and other babbling teenage girls. I will regret going. I hate how I am always left out, but I'd rather stay at home than go to something like that. I feel so bad. My guy friend is super nice, sweet, kind and has always got my back. He's honestly the best guy friend I could ask for. So we went on a senior trip to a farm and they had ice cream, grill outs, horse rides, bumper boats etc. it was really fun I was with my friends most of the time but I ran into my guy friend later and we just hung out for a little. Anyways there was a guy there who was jealous that my guy friend was friends with me. Me and my guy friend walked to the pig pen because he wanted to feed the pigs. Anyways as soon as my friend leaned over to feed a pig a guy snuck up behind him and pushed him really hard right into the pig pen. He stumbled over one of the pigs and splat face planted right into the thick mud. The pig squealed and I gasped in shock and yelled my friends name! Then before I knew it the guy grabbed a bucket of the pig slop and once my friend lifted his face out of the mud and began to get up the other guy dumped the bucket of slop all over my friend's head and ran away. I actually stepped into the mud to help my friend up. I could see he had tears in his eyes and was the messiest I had ever seen anyone. He was covered in mud and slop all over his clothes, face and beard. I really felt horrible and helped him out of the mud. One of his favorite teachers saw him and me and asked what happened? So my friend gave me her old iphone 4s that is cracked. She gave it to me for free to BORROW! I was supposed to give it back whenever she asked. I am a junior in high school. Ever since middle school, I've not had many friends. Because of this, I've always "made friends" with my teachers and made really good relationships with them. This has shown a lot in high school -- for example, my English teacher always gives me reading suggestions and we talk about them, and we're just super close. After I graduate, would it be weird to want to be actual friends with them? I'd enjoy meeting up with them for coffee and catching up while I'm in college, seeing as we already have a mature friendship. Is this considered odd?

I have always felt like they never treated me like an actual friend up until a few weeks ago. My friends were cyberbullying someone and harassing them, and I helped them report it to the principle because it bothered me. The principle and the person never told them, but they eventually they figured it out and now hate me. They dragged some of my other friends into the drama, and now they hate me too. We are 14 years old. We find ourselves getting bored because we always do the same things when we hang out: go to the mall, park, or somebody's house. What are some new things we could do together that wouldn't cost a lot of money? Thanks.

Hi, my name is Lilia, and currently I'm a 9th grader. When I was in 4th grade, I stole from a lot of people's lockers, literally. Pencil boxes, shoes, even clothes. What's strange is I don't even know why I did it! There weren't any cameras then so I didn't get caught, but I feel really bad. My last theft: in 6th grade I took a pencil box from my friend but I felt horrible and gave it back the next day. Strangely I didn't feel anything back then, but now I feel terrible! I knew it was wrong, I just did it. I stopped stealing in 7th grade completely, but I'm still really scared I'll go to jail or something. I really want to keep going to school! Right now, I suddenly feel like I really want to confess to someone, but if I tell my parents they will probably kill me, because I come from a pretty noble family. I know what I did was wrong, and now I still have some of that stuff! What should I do with it? Should I tell anyone? Please help!! I feel really, really terrible and guilty!

It s me, my boyfriend of 3 years, my older brother and his girlfriend. Corbin and I are clean freaks. Everything is picked up as soon as we use it, we don t sit down to eat before every pot and pan is cleaned and picked up. Vacuum, wipe down counters, clean the bathroom, daily. Dennis (brother) just moved his gf in and they re having problems accepting that the dishes they use and leave in the sink are all there s. We re constantly HAVING to pick up after them; just to do what we need to do. Cleanliness is heavily stressed in this house hold and they are aware how we feel. This morning, however, Corbin was ranting about how we can t cook breakfast because how wrecked the kitchen is; Kirsten comes in our room, "Why do y all talk **** about me instead of telling me about it?" We shouldn t have to constantly tell her to pick up after herself, and shouldn t be surprised when that begins to agitate us. Things escalated, she s in completely denial that "all those dishes are there s" which it is for a fact. I ve MADE SURE to go the extra mile to be an example almost since her move in to make sure this doesn t happen. I ve read a few ideas for resolving this, but really need realistic help. I don t want to have to pick up the dishes permanently, but this is getting stressful.

My main group of friends are Courtney, Marjorie, Landon, and my boyfriends name is Garrett. Okay before I start this off, Courtney is always nice to me and Garrett is always nice as well. I am a freshman and today at school when we were all in the auditorium, me and Garrett were holding hands, and Landon and Marjorie were making fun of us, and taking pictures of us, and sending them to Courtney and calling me and Garrett gross. It was really embarrassing and I felt like crying. This also isn't the first time they've made fun of me and Garrett, they do it to me all the time and it hurts my feelings. Whenever I try to talk to Marjorie about my feelings she doesn't take me seriously and she just pushes me away. Landon treats me differently than everyone else, like for example, whenever I'm upset and need someone to talk to he will just say something like "oh crap dude you should go see a doctor." But when he's talking to another one of his friends with his problems, he is usually like "omg, I'm so sorry, are you okay" and he just shows more sympathy and compassion for the other. He treats me differently and I don't understand why, it really hurts my feelings. The only thing I ever really get sad about is being very nostalgic, I have a longing to go back and re live the past but I'm not going to go deep into that. Can anyone help me out? What should I do? Should I make new friends or?

She's my only friend and I'm lonely, I've texted her 3 times with no reply, and the texts were more than just "Hi" or "Hey, what's up"

Well I've had boyfriends and stuff but we've never done anything super sexual. Farthest I've ever gone is almost getting fingered lol. Like he was in my pants but didn't fully do it. This isn't to sound cocky either but I could easily have sex with a guy if I wanted but I just haven't. And it's like all my friends have already lost their virginity and here I am I haven't done almost anything. Is that bad? I might sound dumb asking this question, but believe it or not, almost all girls at my school aren't virgins, including freshman and sophomores, as well as juniors and seniors

One of my friends birthdays is on the 26th and we don t live close to one another, so I can t visit. I was thinking about ordering from sites like 1800flowers or FTD. Are there any other sites I should check out? I dont want anything completely over the top and it frustrates me that it can t be completely personalized. (like, if I wanted to add one balloon or something, I cant) Thanks.

In October my best friend had a minor operation and because his family is awful and wouldn't take care of him right I let him stay in my house with my family for 3 weeks post-op. We bought him all his favorite foods and treated him like a king. I just had surgery yesterday and he hasn't even bothered to text me until today and said he might be able to stop by for a little bit tomorrow but can't come over at all during the weekend because he's "got plans" and he knew I was having surgery and made plans anyway. He's an adult who lives in his own place so I know it's not his parents telling him he can't come over. Is it just me or is he being really crappy?

This girl and I have texted back and forth 4 times now. I've started it all four times. She almost always keeps the conversation going, so I don't think she minds talking to me... We made plans to watch a movie together after spring break, but I don't want to seem needy by texting her to set up a date...but I don't think she'll ever text me first... She doesn't use social media much judging by her profiles, and she usually takes a while to respond to texts so I assume she doesn't do that much either...but still... What should I do?

So do you agree to be like nice and friendly to them? Even though they're the ones being disrespectful? Would being kind to then make them more angry? What ya'll think?

For instance, when you meet someone new or decide you want to start dating again, do you let that person know, or just drop them? I need help in that situation - I haven't heard from him in a week and a half and I texted him yesterday and he hasn't written back. i don't know if he met someone, or if he's tired of us, or just doesn't wanna talk. We've been going at it since July.

My friend eats meat and I think that is disgusting. I keep trying to convince him to turn to a healthier and morally correct lifestyle but he just gets angry.
