We were friends, I liked him a little but never revealed my feelings, he had a girlfriend, we stayed friends, he broke up with girlfriend, we stayed friends, he became more distant, we would still talk and text sometimes, he started ignoring me, I tried to understand what's wrong and the story always changes. He ignores me because I'm too negative or because he doesn't like me having a boyfriend (that happened after I gave up on him obviously). There was even one story where he turned it around and said that I was ignoring him and he didn't know why. I have been trying to talk to him for almost two months now, with no luck. I haven't ever had this issue in the past and used to watch porn a lot, but I stopped when I began dating her immediately without even trying. Normally I would be addicted to it but I just suddenly lost all interest. Additionally, when we make out, I get thought tangents and start thinking about other stuff instead of her. I just get bored I guess? I know that's bad but I have focus issues. I feel connected with her but at the same time I just have mental stimulation issues. So I did research and found that some people have performance anxiety (I have a HUGE issue with anxiety) and so I think that's part of the issue. But sex just doesn't feel very good. I am more interested in the emotionally connection I have with her and she seems like the female version of me (I know it sounds stupid but that's just how I feel). It might also be that I have self esteem issues and a lack of confidence (and self loathing has been an issue as well). She has been so patient and said she doesn't really care about the sex and that it's just a plus, but honestly that could very well be bogus and I know it probably bothers her. So I need to please her, even if I have no sexual desire. So how do I get my libido back? I thought that maybe having the lights on during sex would help so I can see what I'm doing. The reasons I'm still hanging onto her is because she has depression and she'd be devastated if I broke up with her and I don't think I could do that, and because she satisfies my sexual needs, and I satisfy hers. The only reason I started "dating" her was because she smelled like my old girlfriend... I want to end things with her but she's pretty popular and a lot of girls would dislike me. And please don't say "just man up and do it" or "who cares what other people think of you" Thanks |

We weren't dating the WHOLE time, I've been with other people in these 3 years, he hasn't. We stop talking and then for some reason we always end up talking again. he cares for me so much, he's the sweetest person I've met. I've held on for 3 years, it's time to let go. Part of me thought that because we always ended up back together was a sign that it was "meant to be". but I realized something, I'm not attracted to him. I care for him, I still love him, but I'm not attracted to him if that makes sense. I've tried so hard to make myself like him, but I can't, I just can't. Everytime I've "cut him out" before we always end up talking again. I end up missing him and wanting him back. How can i let go and stay with my decision? |
